Nice service, good food, fair prices :-)

I eat here very regularly and it is always a culinary experience.

Located directly at the main train station. Hence many travelers who want to satisfy their hunger and thirst. Service is friendly and quick. Location is traditionally Bavarian, in good condition and clean. The Leberkäs with fried egg and potato salad was very good, fair price, decent portion.

Came here late midday during the week and were amazed at how crowded it still is. We were taken far into the restaurant and were able to order our tasty Ayinger Helles. The tavern plate was eaten, which tasted good, only the dumpling was a little too dry. The Geschnetzelte Zurich style also tasted good, but the croquettes had been kept warm for too long. But all in all a pub to stop by.

The food was great. The waiter was very rude at the end when he didn't type the amount into the card machine when paying by card but pointed out that the tip wasn't included. As always, we give tips in cash. Same this time. But the direct comment was inappropriate and annoyed us after an otherwise lovely evening.

We booked online, when we arrived, they told us that they had called us (we didn't have any call) and then that they had sent us an email (we didn't have any either). They told us they were sorry but they wouldn't give us dinner.

We got a dressing down because we mived two tables together to seat four. Oops, sorry. Cultural differences? I don't know. But one of our group felt so strongly about the mistreatment that she went back to the hotel. Oh well. But, yeah, didn't feel too good.

Eating at this restaurant was an unforgettable experience. My sister and I checked it out and were blown away by everything from the atmosphere to the impeccable service. Every dish we tried was a masterpiece, making it hands down the best meal we have ever eaten. I can highly recommend a visit here.

We ordered the hunters schnitzel and Munich schnitzel. The portions were large and the price was really great. The service was very nice and funny and was very fast. You won't go home hungry!

Highly recommended. Food was excellent, soup and cordon bleu. Only two people in the room, the guy was working so hard and he managed everything so perfectly, it was impressive. Tourist trap. Got billed extra for potatoes when we did not ordered any potatoes with the schnitzel (we had plenty food already ordered). Be careful with German restaurants and its crecient malpractices.

Service and vibe were really good, the burger was really bland and tasteless but my wife was happy with her food so it was 50/50 for us. Good place to visit if you want the Bavarian tavern feel 👍🏽

Food was good but the service was very bad. We ordered Schnitzel Viennese Style but got Tender sliced turkey which cost nearly doubled. We have tried to speak to the staff but they were neglecting and insist that we ordered it when we didnt. Just be cautious about what you are ordering.

Your admission control is probably a disgrace! This Sunday evening the restaurant is almost empty, including the window front where I have been sitting as a regular for 20 years! Still the door wasn't opened! Do you think I'm standing here for 10 minutes in front of the stuffy entrance and begging to let you give me my good money??? You're doing too well, aren't you? The entire Munich catering industry has become so arrogant and arrogant, and at extremely exorbitant prices too! You can eat your own roast pork in the future! Siegfried Lackner Munich!

Finally a rustic inn again, the kitchen masters its craft with love.

During my trip, I came to have dinner with two people I met locally as I had personally been interested in them for some time. I ordered currywurst and schnitzel, but it was a little too much for three people to share. There was one young man there, so we managed to finish the meal. The atmosphere of the restaurant was nice, and the food and beer were delicious, but I think it was busy around 8pm on the weekend, so it was a shame that the staff's response was a little sloppy. The beer was so good that I ended up drinking a little too much.

Excelent beer served with excelent bavarian dishes. The atmosphere of the Wirtshaus and the staff dressed in traditional costumes take you to another period in History. The beer is great and the food is AMAZING. We loved the wiener schnitzel and the Bayrischer würstelteller. The portions are very generous too. The only thing that's not so great is the staff. They're not much welcoming and they take very long to serve you.

I was surprised that drink and food came out instantly after ordering. Prices are a bit high and but portions are large. Tastes good but not a special. The waitress was cheerful and nice

German pig's feet are delicious

We've been here several times, the food is very good, the prices are too high for me. During our last visit, however, a service lady had to spend a long time discussing very, very loudly with other employees. Even when we pointed out the volume, it continued loudly (I didn't think I would have to write that in a review).

The staff here are incredibly friendly and the food selection is fantastic and offers a wide variety.

I came here two nights in a row because the food was the best I’ve had so far in 12 days of traveling through Europe. The pork knuckle is done with a lovely sauce that is packed with flavor; the schnitzel is crispy on the outside and delightfully moist on the inside; the suckling pig is rendered with soft tender meat and satisfyingly crackling skin; the soups are tasty and remind one of home and the smooth beers are of course the best way to top the sumptuous meal off. If you’re in Munich you must not give this restaurant a miss!

Warm beer: Overall I was satisfied. Unfortunately every beer was served in a warm beer glass. After a few minutes the glass was cold and the beer was warm.

First I have to say that the service is simply super friendly, fast and competent. I had the pork knuckle and it was so juicy and tender that it fell off the bone. 😋 I would come back for that alone. The Obazda was also very tasty. Within ten minutes the food was on the table – just wow!

The food was nice but the waiters were racist towards a group of Japanese tourists, repeatedly shouting "arigato" + "sayonara" & laughing at them. Not very welcoming for foreign tourists.

While passing through, we spontaneously decided to go out for something to eat. We were absolutely thrilled, the service is attentive, friendly and, above all, has a sense of humor! The selection is huge and the food is simply a dream!!! If we're in Munich again we'll definitely eat there again, because this time we unfortunately couldn't manage any dessert, the portions are really big.

It was a great experience of a German restaurant. There was a pleasant and refreshing female server there, so I was able to feel the German style even better. I got a dish what called Schweinhaksen in Korea. I think it might be salty to Koreans, but I felt this much seasoning was appropriate for this dish. I was curious about a recipe that could cook the skin that crispy even though the flesh was cooked softly. Among the side dishes, I don't know if the Arancini-shaped side dish with a chewy texture is made of glutinous rice or potato starch, but I think it did a good job of serving as an interesting carbohydrate. All of the dishes on one plate were well harmonized

Our anniversary dinner was absolutely amazing! The service was exceptional and the food was outstanding. We couldn't have asked for a better experience.

We just had beers but the service was good and fast. The beer was cold and fresh. Frothy heads on top, they ere tasty and delicious. I viewed the menu as well and saw others with food on the table. Place seemed to have mostly locals in the seats that are probably regulars.

The service was very friendly and quickly asked if everything was ok, but one star was deducted because the bill was simply placed on the table without asking and we were asked to pay! The food was very good and there were large portions. We had roast veal with hunter sauce and roast pork with sauerkraut and dumplings! On the whole we would come here again.

Bavarian restaurant. We had booked (you absolutely have to to have a place) and when we arrived the welcome was cold bordering on ignored. The service is the same, very fast, we are afraid to ask for things, it bothers them. Kitchen ok nice and good. Beer 🍻 great. I don't know if this is the custom in Germany but the waitress pointed out to us that the tip was not included and forced our hand a little on it.

Nice restaurant, we were seated near the door which often remained open so I had to get up 3 or 4 times during the meal to close it. The waiter was overly present asking if we wanted more beer. Very good cheeseburger, served without chips but still filling.

The prices may be a little higher, but they are very reasonable for the size of the generous portions. The roast pork is highly recommended. For me one of the best in Munich.

Food was very underwhelming. The schnitzel was breaded very inconsistent and it was pan fried unevenly. The pork was cooked very poorly with the skin rubbery and the meat dry and stringy. But the cucumber and potato salad was nice. The soup had a very rich flavour but tasted a bit artificial like it was cooked using stock cubes. The atmosphere here was pretty good and service was also decent.

A very nice restaurant. Very rustic furnishings and yet very comfortable. The service came quickly, the beer even quicker. The food was very good and completely sufficient. And you can't complain about the prices! In Hamburg it is much more expensive! I can only recommend it to everyone! :)
