I really can't recommend this restaurant, the chicken breast was too dry and the side dishes were not good, the penne al forma was heated up in the microwave and it was just mush and the pizza was too black and on top of that the prices were high.
We were very disappointed with this all-you-can-eat restaurant. The menu selection was very small, the offerings limited, and there was nothing special. As soon as a dish was empty, it simply wasn't refilled. You either had to wait or go without food.
A particularly negative experience was with the ice cream and desserts: The staff started clearing them away even though there were still guests at the table. When we asked why the ice cream was gone, we were suddenly told there hadn't been any ice cream at all – even though the ice cream container had been full five minutes earlier. Completely disrespectful to the guests.
Some dishes were cold, which is absolutely unacceptable. Furthermore, the staff doesn't speak German, which makes communication very difficult.
Overall – not recommended. The overall impression was negative.
The beer garden and restaurant offer a lot of ambience. The food is excellent and there is a nice selection of drinks. The beer garden is quite large and is also suitable for public viewing events in summer. I've only been to the restaurant once. The furnishings correspond to the typical tavern charm, somewhat modernized.
After having been here several times, the service gets worse each time - you don't feel welcome and the staff is very unfriendly - we wanted to order more drinks and were ignored and at 9:15 p.m. we were presented with the bill without being asked - there are plenty of other and better Asian restaurants in Regensburg
There were two of us here. We arrived at 2 p.m. without a reservation and were able to sit outside. The food was delicious, as were the drinks (homemade lime lemonade). We had summer rolls as a starter, which were also very tasty.
Nevertheless, there were negative aspects. On the one hand, there was a hair in the salad of both summer rolls. It wasn't very appetizing, but we immediately received a new portion. Furthermore, for me personally the portion of the main course was a bit small as I still felt a little hungry afterwards. For two main courses, a starter and a drink €32 is totally ok.
Delicious food! Perfect Opatija steak. The calamari salad was great. Calamari in carcasses, soft and delicious, not rubber discs like everywhere else. A large selection of drinks, including non-alcoholic ones. I definitely recommend it!
More appearance than reality. Pinsa is dry / more edge than anything else and tries to save with oil.
- Toilets are bad for men and women - urinals are full of water and other things
- The faucet on the sink is loose and dirty in general condition
Very disappointing experience!
I visited this restaurant for the first time as part of a small Christmas party. Small, rather simple guest rooms with a gray gas bottle that simply stood in the guest room next to the counter and thus gave off an inhospitable impression, and a cloudy, brownish plastic bean storage container for the coffee grinder next to the espresso machine. As an espresso fan, this is the first red flag: grinders and their storage containers must be regularly cleaned of coffee fat.
The service was unobtrusive when taking the order, and the food arrived at the table fairly quickly, so there wasn't much to complain about.
For dinner, I ordered one of the dishes from the menu that I thought was the least likely to go wrong: Spaghetti alla putanesca.
The noodles were obviously homemade, the consistency was a bit sticky, but overall okay. But I can't judge the taste. The whole dish was overshadowed by a note of vinegar that simply has no place here. Spaghetti alla putanesca includes pasta, peeled tomatoes, garlic, anchovies, olives, capers and pepperoncini and oregano as seasoning. But vinegar? The only reason I can explain this is that capers pickled in vinegar brine are used here (instead of the good dry capers pickled in salt) and a big sip of this brine went into the dish when preparing it? A colleague also left her pizza behind in disappointment, commenting from her: "It tastes like stick bread with cheese on it, as thick and bready as the dough is."
My full plate was later cleared away with a comment: "Wasn't it good?" To which I replied: "No, that wasn't good at all." There was no further reaction from the staff. Even when I paid and paid the €19.30 along with the drink with a €20.00 note, my change was only given to me after I insisted.
It's also significant that no EC card payment is accepted here; I didn't see any notice of this at the entrance, only in small print on the menu below. On what grounds does a company think it has to insist on cash alone these days?
In terms of food, it was a very disappointing evening, which was only corrected late in the evening in our own kitchen.
