Kuk - Vegave in Regensburg

Wir hatten das Korean Fried Chicken das von außen gut aussah, aber von innen trocken und zäh war. Leider hat das gar nicht geschmeckt. Als ob alte Chickenwings paniert und frittiert wurden. Das Curry mit Entenfleisch war ok aber wie auf dem Foto zu sehen war das Entenfleisch sehr trocken und tot gebraten. Das Sushi war nicht besonders gut. Es war essbar aber wir kennen es eigentlich anders (viel besser) die Mango Maki waren zu warm, die Mango viel zu unreif deswegen auch geschmacklos und sauer. Die Makis mit frittierter Garnele waren ganz schlimm. Die frittierte Garnele war trocken und hart und schmeckte zu sehr nach Öl. Die großen frittierten Sushirollen waren auch nicht gut. Haben auch nach Öl geschmeckt. Wir waren früher oft dort und haben auch immer Sushi to Go geholt und da waren wir immer zu frieden! Es hat alles immer sehr frisch geschmeckt. Egal ob es frittiert war oder nicht alles war sehr gut. Aber der jetzige Besuch…war seine 80€ nicht wert. Leider!

Ganz kleiner Kaffee americano 3,20 € finde ich für das Gebotene zu teuer. Kann die Lokalität nicht empfehlen.

Ich habe Bahn Mi (vietnamesisches Sandwich) bestellt (zum Mitnehmen). Es hat okay geschmeckt, aber es war nicht genug gefüllt. Das Sandwich könnte mehr gefüllt sein (insb. Gemüse und Fleisch). Ich war noch hungrig, und ich war enttäuscht.

Schnell service, sauber Restaurant, nur bar bezahlen

Größte Frechheit die ich seit langem erlebt habe. Kartenzahlung erst ab 25€. Unsere Rechnung lag bei 23.40€ also hat sie komplett dreist sich einfach noch Trinkgeld raufgeschlagen um auf 25€ zu kommen. Essen war nur mittelmäßig. Nie wieder!

Etwas abseits der Fußgängerzone und nicht wirklich gemütlich von der Einrichtung her. Es gibt auch draußen ein paar Plätze. Auf der Karte gibt es mehrere vegane Gerichte und ich entscheide mich für die vegane Buddhabowl. Anfangs befürchte ich, daß sie zu klein ist, aber das ist sie dank der guten Menge an Reis nicht. Das Essen ist richtig gut, es kostet ca 15 Euro. Um halb 7 sind alle Plätze im Lokal besetzt. Sehr gerne wieder.

Ein großartiges vietnamesisches Restaurant! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Besonders die Bún Cá hier ist einfach ein Highlight – die Suppe ist aromatisch, leicht und unglaublich frisch. Der Fisch ist perfekt zubereitet, zart und voller Geschmack. Man merkt sofort, dass hochwertige Zutaten verwendet werden. Auch die anderen Gerichte sind sehr lecker und authentisch. Der Service ist freundlich und aufmerksam, und die Atmosphäre ist angenehm und gemütlich. Wer echte vietnamesische Küche sucht, sollte unbedingt hierher kommen. Ich komme definitiv wieder!

Für ein 20-Euro-Gericht war die Portion viel zu klein. Es hat zwar gut geschmeckt, aber es reichte nicht mal für eine Person. Ich hatte Tteokbokki mit gebratenem Hähnchen bestellt. 🫩🥲

Wir sind Mosleme und wollten Suppe essen gehen. Ich habe ausdrücklich gesagt, dass ich kein Schwein essen kann. Die Suppe kam, nach 2 Löffeln hab ich gemerkt dass Wurst drin liegt und habe gesagt, dass ich die Suppe nicht essen kann. Bedienung meinte, dass sie es nicht stornieren kann und dass es nicht ihre Schuld sei. Moralisch und rechtlich hätte ich nicht zahlen müssen weil es als eine Falsche Lieferung gilt.

Anfangs war es ungewohnt, weil die Speisekarten etwas abgegriffen sind und die Speisen teilweise unüblich benannt sind. Sonst ist alles super. Das Essen, die Getränke und die Nachspeisen, bzw der Apperitiv.

Seit das Restaurant seine Speisekarte geändert hat, hat die Qualität nachgelassen. Ich bestellte Teriyaki-Hähnchen, aber es schmeckte genauso wie das geschmorte Hähnchen in Vietnam. Auch andere vietnamesische Gerichte wie Bánh xèo (vietnamesischer Pfannkuchen) und Bún (vietnamesische Nudelsuppe) schmeckten nicht mehr authentisch. Sehr enttäuschend.

waren schon öfter hier und finden es immer lecker! richtig gute Preise, leckeres Essen und sehr grosse Auswahl von Sushi bis Reisgerichte bis koreanische und vietnamische Gerichte. Echt empfehlenswert!

Super sympathischer Service, gutes Essen.

Essen sehr lecker, Sushi, Bowl und Matcha Latte. Alles wunderbar. Der eine Stern Abzug weil die Sauberkeit meinem Anspruch nicht genügt hat und die Sitzgelegenheiten nicht sehr bequem waren. Die Bedienung hin die ganze Zeit am Handy und hat nur schnell und nicht gründlich den Tisch abgewischt, so dass dieser noch klebrig war.

Die Preise sind noch befriedigend. Das essen ist gut und es macht satt.

Hammer Essen, schnelle und freundliche Lieferung, zum Ambiente kann ich leider (noch) nichts sagen, wenn's aber nur annähernd so gut ist, wie die anderen Punkte, unbedingt auch hingehen! Danke!

Preise erhöht und Portionsgrößen verkleinert? So fühlt es sich leider an, mittlerweile kostet eine Bowl ungefähr 15€ und satt wird man davon nicht mehr. Wir haben ohne Getränke für ungefähr 50€ Essen abgeholt und waren danach nicht statt.

Wir sind regelmäßig, teilweise mehrmals monatlich hier gewesen, einfach leckeres und schön hergerichtetes Essen, gut bekömmlich und nette Atmosphäre. Aufgrund Jobwechsel gestern nach ca. 3 Monaten wieder da und was soll man sagen? Wir waren sehr überrascht - negativ überrascht. Wir saßen draußen, Kippen auf dem Boden und auf der Abgrenzung, ab zum Hände waschen (haben wir in der Erziehung gelernt), leider ohne Seife und ohne Tücher (Keim-Gebläse war da, aber lieber am T-Shirt abgetrocknet), Zwei Weizen mit Sushi und Thai Curry Chicken bestellt. Nach ca. 5 Minuten kam das Crispy Sushi, danach die zweite Speise. Sah ungewohnt anders aus. Ungewohnt trocken und zu Leder frittiert. Festgestellt, dass es Ente war. Reklamiert und wieder gewartet. Als die zweite Portion diesmal mit Chicken kam, unverändertes Bild. Erneuter Biss- und Geschmackstest: ledrig, kein Geschmack, außer die Paprika, sie schmeckte nach feuchten Schimmel-Keller. Nach vier Bissen stehen gelassen und das Sushi von der Frau geteilt. Das war gestern Mittag. Heute Nacht mehr Stunden auf der Toilette verbracht als im Bett. Die Frau verbringt gerade Ihren Sonntag kopfüber vor der Toilette. Scheinbar neuer Koch und neuer Pächter. Schade für sie. Schade für uns. Unser wohlverdientes Wochenende zum ersten Mal seit Wochen wieder zu Hause haben wir uns anders vorgestellt. Der zweite Stern ist für die bisherige Loyalität und evtl. eine zweite Chance.

Sehr nettes Personal, Essen schmeckt super. Kaum Wartezeit. Preislich gut. Nur die Toiletten sind etwas älter und könnten renoviert werden.

Zur Eröffnung war das Essen wirklich sehr lecker. Jetzt mit neuer Speisekarte erinnert es nur noch an Imbiss, schlechten Imbiss. Essen ungenießbar, kleine Portionen und schlechter Service.

Guter Asiate, bei dem man sich aus allen asiatischen Ländern bedienen kann. Von japanischen Sushi, koreanischen Fried Chicken oder vietnamesischen Nudelgerichten ist alles dabei. Hierbei eine durchwegs hohe Qualität. Es gibt eine große Auswahl an Getränken. Das Sushi wäre für mich 5 Sterne wert.

Sehr leckere (Sushi) Bowls und das Sushi selbst ist auch sehr lecker. Der Service ist aber noch etwas ausbaufähig :) *Update vom 22.11.21 Essen nach wie vor zu empfehlen, Service jedoch immer noch verbesserungswürdig! Update November 2023: Mittlerweile ist das ganze Lokal mit Tischen vollgestopft. Hier kann man von keinem gemütliche Ambiente mehr sprechen. Update Januar 2026: Das Ambiente ist wieder etwas angenehmer geworden. Der Service hat weiterhin leichten Verbesserungsbedarf.

Vorab, das Spicy Curry war wirklich gut dem hätte ich 5 sterne gegeben. Aber wir hatten auch eine Teriyaki bowl, diese soße hat nicht nach teriyaki geschmeckt und dort war ein rießiges Hünchenstück drin das ein einziger knorpel war. Also currys sind zu empfehlen, aber die bowls eher nicht

Seit es das RiceCorn gibt, lieben wir es einfach. Für uns gibt es dort das beste und frischeste Sushi in Regensburg – das ist natürlich unsere persönliche Einschätzung, aber wir haben schon viele andere (auch hochpreisigere) Sushi-Restaurants ausprobiert und kommen immer wieder hierher zurück. Wir bestellen meist verschiedene Sushi-Variationen, die wir uns selbst aus der Karte zusammenstellen, oft gleich eine ganze Platte zum Abholen. Genauso gerne essen wir aber auch direkt vor Ort. Das Sushi ist immer frisch, qualitativ top und geschmacklich einfach hervorragend. Die Mitarbeiter sind durchweg sehr freundlich, höflich und respektvoll. Man fühlt sich willkommen, sie kommen aktiv auf einen zu und der Service ist absolut zufriedenstellend. Das Ambiente ist modern, hell und gleichzeitig richtig gemütlich – mit Stühlen, Sitzbänken und kleinen Ecken. Es ist ein kleiner, gemütlicher Laden, in dem man sich sofort wohlfühlt. Auch die Auswahl überzeugt: hausgemachte Eistees, eine gute Getränkeauswahl (auch alkoholisch), Suppen, Vorspeisen, Hauptgerichte und natürlich eine sehr große Sushi-Auswahl. Wir können wirklich nur Positives sagen. Die Lage ist zentral, Parken ist meist problemlos in der Straße davor möglich, besonders für To-go-Bestellungen. Alternativ gibt es ein Parkhaus gegenüber. Außerdem ist alles ebenerdig und rollstuhlgerecht. Für uns ganz klar: Seit wir das Reiskorn kennen, sind wir fast nur noch dort – und wir kommen immer wieder sehr gerne zurück. Absolut empfehlenswert!

Very good food. There was a bit of a wait, but it was lunchtime. Space was limited, but it was sufficient.

Small but excellent! Very tasty, and the staff are usually friendly. Reservations are a must! Edit: Unfortunately, in my opinion, the restaurant has declined significantly since the new menus. There's considerably less choice, at least when it comes to sushi. While the taste is still mostly good, it's no longer justified by the price (in my opinion). The chicken and duck sushi were also very tough… a waste of money for me. However, I have no complaints about the rest. What a shame! I used to love going there.

From the outside it's rather unassuming, but inside it's beautifully decorated and the food is really delicious. The prices are also perfectly reasonable in our opinion.

Excellent value for money. Everything is very fresh and visually appealing. Service has improved significantly compared to a year ago. Very friendly and welcoming. The quality of the food remains excellent.

The atmosphere was relaxing and cozy with warm lighting and charming decor. Everyone was friendly and service was at a slow pace but good for us to relax and enjoy conversation. Drinks come in unique glass cups and the dinner plates were very nice as well. I highly recommend the fried chicken!

The sushi is very reasonably priced and of very good quality! We didn't have to wait long for our food, even though every table was full. We were extremely satisfied and can only recommend RiceCorn!

Super delicious food. Great price.

We ordered delivery from Ricecorn and were extremely disappointed with both the service and the food. After receiving the wrong order, I inquired whether our delivery could be tracked or at least replaced. I was simply told to check with the delivery service myself. When our food arrived an hour and a half later, we were saddened to discover that every dish was a complete disappointment. The sushi was mediocre, and the gyozas (vegetarian) and sweet potato summer rolls were comparable to cardboard in terms of texture and flavor. The Buddha Bowl for €18 is a handful of noodles with some tofu and salad; equally disappointing in terms of taste. Overall, a frustrating experience; I wouldn't recommend it to anyone.

The food is delicious and, above all, not too expensive. You'll leave full for less than €20 per person. The staff is very attentive.

Ricecorn absolutely won me over with its fresh and creative Asian cuisine. The poke bowls are especially top-notch: crispy ingredients, perfectly seasoned, and wonderfully combined. The fried sushi is a real highlight – crispy on the outside, tender on the inside. The service is friendly and attentive, and the ambiance is modern and inviting. Ricecorn is an absolute must for all sushi and poke fans. I'll definitely be back!

I was here today. I was alone, and when I walked in, no one greeted me, even though I said "hello." A woman handed me the menu and didn't say another word. I ordered fish noodles and a glass of Coke. A while later, the woman brought the food without a word, with a rather unpleasant look. After I finished my meal and said I wanted to pay by card, the same woman rudely replied that it only worked for orders over €25, without further explanation. This means that, as far as I know, I can only pay by card if the bill is €25 or more. Maybe I have to put up with this service attitude because I'm Asian, or because I'm also Vietnamese, and that's why they don't want to serve me. The food is okay, but with this kind of service, I'll never come back.

I ordered sushi that said it had salmon in it, and it did, but it was cooked salmon, not raw salmon??? Who wants cooked salmon in sushi? Sushi actually translates to "raw fish," so it was really disappointing. The summer rolls I got had about one shrimp per roll, which is really filling. I can't recommend them, especially after spending €75. It's really sad.

Unfortunately, the quality is declining; my food was so salty that it was almost impossible to eat - a real shame. Since the change of ownership a few years ago, I no longer recommend it.

I ordered a bowl here and while eating it, I discovered several small flies in my salad. Absolutely disgusting. I reported it and although I got a new plate, I still had to pay for everything as normal. If I were a member of the kitchen staff, a member of staff, or the owner, I wouldn't have charged for such a thing. Such a hygiene lapse should not be allowed in a restaurant. This was my last visit. I no longer have any trust in this kind of attitude towards cleanliness.

I was a regular at Ricecorn for years and regularly ordered sushi and bowls, including takeout. Although I've since moved away, I ordered via Uber Eats on my last two visits – unfortunately, the food isn't comparable to what it used to be. The portions seem almost half the size, while the prices have gone up. Such small, falling-apart sushi rolls at these prices are actually a disgrace. It's a shame that the quality has declined so drastically. I always loved the restaurant, but unfortunately, I can no longer recommend it.

We had been going here for 3 years. Was always pretty good until recently. Last time the tuna sushi we got didn’t taste right so we waited a while to try this place again. Today ate here for the last time. The tuna was brown, hard and not fresh at all. We never send food back but it was so bad we did not want to pay for it because we could not eat the food. We get the Volcano tuna every time and this time it was inedible. The guy was indignant and refused to take it off our bill. There are plenty of better restaurants around. Avoid RiceCon.

We have been going here for three years. The service has never been good but we were okay with it for the reasonable prices. However, the prices have gone up and the quality has plummeted. Last time we went we really noticed a difference in quality for the worse. Even got sick. After waiting a bit, we decided to give it one last chance. Terrible idea. The tuna was unsafe to eat. We politely and discreetly tried to bring this to their attention. We said the other dishes were fine and were willing to pay for them but the tuna was not fresh. They were very indignant about it, never apologized never offered a substitute or discount. They argued the discoloration was because it was “seared”. I worked in restaurants for many years. Seared tuna is not brown, grey, and green. It was so fishy and the outside texture was hard while the inside texture was mealy. Absolutely inedible. In the end they continued to refuse to apologize or make an effort to make it right. We ended up paying the whole amount despite only having a bite of two tuna sushi entrees. There are plenty of better priced, fresher, and better serviced sushi restaurants in Regensburg. Sorry to say, but stay away from this place and look elsewhere.

Price-performance ratio unbeatable, food always delicious and freshly prepared, delivery time usually significantly shorter than advertised online despite the large crowds. Absolutely recommended! :-)

Service overwhelmed, but tried hard. The sushi set for 2 people for a whopping 29 euros was a joke and definitely doesn't count. Also a disappointment in terms of taste.

After I've been here several times - the service gets worse every time - you don't feel wanted and the service is very unfriendly - we wanted to order drinks again and were ignored and at 9.15 p.m. we were presented with the bill without being asked - there are plenty of other and better Asian restaurants in Regensburg

We ordered food here on Saturday December 5th. One Peanut Love and Inari Ramen without eggs, so they are vegan. That worked really well, but one of us has an extremely strong trace allergy to gluten. We then based ourselves on the advertised allergens and she ordered three different maki variants. Arugula, tuna and cucumber. We have written on every single item that you should please watch out for traces because you have a strong allergy. When the food came, the delivery person transported the sushi with the two other dishes in a Styrofoam box, which meant the sushi was warm and the tuna was half cooked, making it unsafe to eat. In addition, there was maki soy sauce on two cucumbers, which also contains gluten. Then while we were eating we found a small piece of a Crunchyroll, so even more gluten. This means that the workplace was not cleaned and no attention was paid to allergens and cross-contamination. This is really dangerous and she felt really, really bad for the next few days! The food itself was good, but if you have an allergy I would strongly advise against this restaurant, as this is strictly not taken into account here.

Never never never again! It's called arugula but that's not arugula to me. At Ricecorn, baked crispy chicken is probably crispy duck. I find it very suspicious that you can only pay with an EC card when you eat on site. Otherwise, only cash payment is possible. Very very suspicious. I don't recommend it to anyone.

Best Chinese in Regensburg! Always my pleasure

I've been to RiceCorn a few times so far. The food tastes great every time. There is a good vegan selection of both warm dishes and sushi. I can especially recommend the fried vegan sushi. The decor is nice and the waitresses are very friendly. So far one of my favorite restaurants in Regensburg.

The taste of the food (yaki udon with beef) was ok, but the portion size for €11 is outrageous!

Highly recommended restaurant! I visited RiceCorn and was overall very satisfied. The service is extremely friendly and the food was served quickly. The quality and taste of the dishes are really good – fresh, tasty and prepared with love. A small wish on my part would be a slightly larger portion. The atmosphere in the restaurant is pleasant, although it feels a bit cramped due to its relatively small size and closely spaced tables. All in all, a great restaurant that I would happily recommend!

Four of us were there in the evening. Everything is in the green. Food, service and ambience okay, but nothing more. Quite good value for money and portions are also okay. There are better Asians in Regensburg but also many significantly worse ones.

Extremely negative review for the Ricekorn restaurant Yesterday I visited Ricekorn Restaurant and it was one of the worst restaurant experiences of my life. Firstly, despite having a reservation at 6:30 p.m., I had to wait until 7:00 p.m. for my table. The receptionist didn't feel the need to apologize for the delay. Secondly, the staff is extremely unprofessional - our order was taken incorrectly and two different guests' dishes were mixed up. Instead of admitting their mistake, they simply handed us the wrong dishes without any apology. Most disgusting moment: The waitress stuck her fingers inside the plate while explaining the situation - a total breach of hygiene that made me seriously question the cleanliness of the entire restaurant. Additionally, the restaurant only accepts cash, which is extremely inconvenient these days. You only get a receipt after asking several times, which also seems dubious. Overall a terrible place with disastrous service, poor hygiene and questionable payment practices. I absolutely do NOT recommend it! I ordered takeout. It happened so quickly that I should have been suspicious. I'm sorry to have to say that. It was really bad. No.23 Raw vegetables, duck totally dry and very little rice noodles. Absolutely boring in terms of taste. For €13 I think that's a disgrace. But at least they were very nice.

We ordered our food through Uber Eats. Unfortunately the portions were so small that neither of us were full. In our opinion, the portion size is more like half a portion and the price is too high for that. The food itself was very tasty. The udon noodles had bean sprouts, although these were not mentioned in the description. This was unpleasant due to a soy intolerance.

Cute place, nicely decorated. Bit of uncomfortable as the waitress don't speak English at all but found our ways to order anyways. No card accepted which is again not positive. The food was delicious and quickly served. If I was live here I'd return.

We have always enjoyed ordering here, unfortunately the last time my vegetable gyoza were with meat and this time there was hardly any of the vegetables listed and the portion was unusually small. What a shame!

Unfortunately, we had a very unpleasant experience: we ordered food to be picked up for the entire office. Back in the office after a few bites I was shocked... there was a MADE in my udon noodles. At first we all thought it was maybe. a caterpillar, but was actually a maggot. So back to the restaurant, showed the chef the maggot, but he didn't want to know anything about it. The restaurant will never see me again and I'm currently considering reporting this to the health department (of course I took a photo of the maggot in the pasta).

We've been to Rice Corn several times. The food was always delicious. When we came today at 4 p.m., we could hardly eat because there were so many small flies flying around the table. We ordered vegetable gyoza as a starter and got chicken gyoza. When we complained about it, they said it was a vegetable and had to keep it, although it was clear that it wasn't a vegetable. There was also lipstick on the edge of the drink glass. Unfortunately, we won't be coming anymore.

In Crispy instead of cucumber there were only cucumber peels. Staff on the phone very unfriendly. Delivered quickly.

For years I loved going to RiceCorn. Unfortunately, this has not been the case for some time now. Every time you mentioned Neotaste, the service staff were annoyed and unfriendly. This week I was at RiceCorn again with friends and wanted to redeem the Neotaste voucher that I had already booked. The service person immediately replied that the restaurant had no longer been a member of Neotaste for two months. (We redeemed a voucher 4 weeks ago) In addition, the food was on our table after 3 minutes - but lukewarm. In the end the drinks added more to the bill. We are disappointed and recommend that the operator only take part in campaigns that he stands behind. This way, as a guest, you don’t feel betrayed in the end.

Two glasses of water were ordered. The waitress brought a more expensive bottle. We then addressed the misunderstanding and (after protests from the waitress) we were given the 2 glasses of table water. The more expensive bottle was still on the bill. Unfortunately we only noticed it afterwards and the price difference is small, but still a no-go. Btw: €6.50 for 0.75L...
