The best sushi in Regensburg. Said by someone who regularly goes out for sushi. Always fresh, exceptional combination, great starters and desserts. A little more expensive, but understandable for sushi. You're happy to pay. Please keep it up!

One of the most beautiful sushi restaurants in Regensburg. The atmosphere is really nice and the waitresses were both super polite and personable. We had the teriyaki chicken and a sushi platter with a hot roll and two inside outs. Both were really delicious. Only recommended!

For a half-empty soup container, a very small mango shrimp salad and four dumplings, I paid a total of €32.22 with delivery costs of a whopping €4.79 and a sudden service fee of 99ct. Not only am I still hungry, but now I'm also angry about this blatant rip-off. 😅 At least it tasted relatively good.

Everything was right from A to Z. Curry was really great, a bit spicy, but not too spicy. If you pay attention to the chilies, it's no problem. The maki's were beautifully prepared.

Update: Went here again for dinner in the evening and ate Hotrolls Big Green Chrunchy, which had a very greasy finish. Wasn't what I expected. That's better. Nice restaurant with delicious food. Slightly sufficient and ok for the price. Starter soup, main course very appealing. Employees could be a little more alert and have a better eye. In summer, tables in front of the restaurant are simply great.

The service was super friendly and quick. The sushi was also super tasty, but unfortunately the kimchi wasn't marinated long enough and therefore wasn't as flavorful as it should be. Unfortunately, the mango sticky rice was only a tiny portion and not worth the price.

Really sad! At first the waiter gave me the okay for a table for two outside, yes, the table was free... until a colleague turned up her nose and made it clear to him that solo guests were not welcome here. I was then rejected and sent away. Shameful and annoying! Oh yes, by the way, there were still several outdoor tables free... so it wasn't really overcrowded. I won't go there anymore with my children who live in Regensburg.

The 991 Soy in Regensburg is my new favorite sushi restaurant in Regensburg. The quality of the sushi is first class - every piece is fresh, tasty and perfectly prepared. I was particularly impressed by the diversity of the menu, which offers both classic and innovative creations. The service was also excellent. The staff was friendly, attentive and made sure we felt completely comfortable. The atmosphere in the restaurant is pleasant and modern, ideal for a relaxed meal. I can highly recommend 991 Soy to any sushi lover and am already looking forward to my next visit!

Once and never again! Unfortunately very disappointing. We were there for dinner later in the evening and apparently received the leftovers that had been prepared and reheated. Food was on the table within a few minutes but unfortunately it was not as described. Everything was breaded. When asked, they claimed that it was as shown on the map. There was no offer to change the dish or anything like that. The entire staff sat highly motivated at the neighboring table and stared into their cell phones. For me, it's an absolute no-go, especially since you pay a hefty price for it.

Very nice staff. Simply delicious and the soups are to die for. We'd love to come back. And again and again. 😀

If you're looking for the best sushi restaurant in town, you've come to the right place! You can tell that quality is important here. We had the boss personally put together a plate for us and we were very satisfied! I can recommend Z1 and Z20 and the Mutsu Steak! We'd love to come back!

Relaxed atmosphere, creative cuisine, finely prepared dishes. Contrast program to the corner opposite (mass instead of class / running (tourist) sushi). And a young, committed staff! Great discovery!

Best sushi in Regensburg. I travel the world a lot on business and I have never found better sushi anywhere than at 991 Soy in Regensburg. The location is incredibly beautiful and the staff is extremely professional. Just as you would expect from an excellent sushi restaurant!

The food was very good, service was nice, but we hardly came to us and asked for dessert or other drinks. It's a shame, otherwise we'll be ordering more.

Everything was great all around!

The food was very good, but the rooms were a bit too dark in my opinion. You're more likely to think you're sitting in a bar than in a sushi restaurant. There is a 2 star deduction because of the toilets. You can get to it via two flights of stairs. After the first few steps you will notice a pungent smell of urine, which probably comes from the men's toilet (the door was wide open). A no-go for me.

Great shop, with difficulty getting a place without a reservation. The food and drinks are very well presented and modern.

The service was very attentive. Gyoza, sushi and the mango duck were very tasty. The homemade juices could easily keep up with the quality of the food.

I got a table here quickly and the food arrived very quickly. Requests were addressed. Gyoza and summer rolls weren't great for me, but they weren't bad either. The sushi was good and solid. The ambience is kept very dark. Unfortunately, for whatever reason, it smelled of ammonia. Fortunately, the human nose quickly gets used to smells. Overall, I would come again and can recommend a visit.

Great food with good service. The portion size of the curry could have been a little more generous, especially more vegetables would have been great. Only the windows are so leaky that it can be a bit uncomfortable upstairs in the winter

We dined here on a Friday evening. Of course sushi was ordered. The food was good. Technically superior quality. Service was good and quick - furnishings were pleasant.

Service was nice, food came before drinks. Dessert Mango Rice is frozen goods from the Thai wholesaler. That's not possible with a Thai street food classic. I can also defrost frozen food at home. Rest of the food was OK. The fit is relatively tight, but still OK. Sushi but good.

Definitely one of the best sushi places in Regensburg for me. But everything else on the menu is simply recommended. Yesterday I ate a bowl of duck for the first time and it was simply delicious, plentiful and excellently seasoned. I really enjoy eating here and can only recommend it! The staff is always friendly, nice, accommodating. But I recommend reserving a table in the evening, it is always very fully booked 😉

In my opinion the price/performance ratio has decreased significantly. The sushi has become much smaller compared to before. The two of us ate sushi for over €60 and didn't get full. In addition, even small things like sauces for sushi have decreased.

Delicious Asian restaurant - there is sushi and various noodle and rice dishes. I had a miso soup and a veggie sushi surprise platter - both delicious - but it didn't blow me away. Price is okay. The ambience was very nice and the food was also well prepared. Worth a visit.

Das Essen war an sich i.O., die Dumpling Soße war aber eine bekannte Frühlingsrollen Soße aus der Flasche. Die Erwartung war da tatsächlich, dass eine etwas besondere Soße dazugegeben wird. Zudem war die Suppe leider zu salzig und konnte nicht aufgegessen werden. Die Bedienung war freundlich, war aber nicht so aufmerksam, dass sie die noch halb volle Suppe bemerkt hatte und nachgefragt hat ob mit ihr alles in Ordnung war. Das Sushi hingegen war super, optisch sowie vom Geschmack und auch der Bananen Nachtisch ist zu empfehlen.

Hatten spontan einen Platz für 2 Personen bekommen! Sehr freundlicher Service, tolles Essen! Jederzeit wieder

Wir sind schon oft daran vorbei gelaufen und wollten es unbedingt ausprobieren. Geschmacklich hatten wir wirklich ein gutes Shusi. Vorallem der Aal hat uns positiv überrascht. Für die Preise die aufgerufen werden fanden wir es dann aber, im vergleich zu unseren anderen Shusi Restaurants als durchschnittlich.

Wo gibt’s das beste Sushi in Town….? Ganz klar, im 991 Soy in Regensburgs malerischer Altstadt Lage - einen Katzen Sprung entfernt vom zentralen Bismarck Platz! Der Service ist jederzeit aufmerksam/ freundlich und macht den Besuch zu einem kulinarischen Genuss. Das Essen gleich ob Sushi oder andere Gerichte erfüllen den Höchsten Qualitätsstandard- das schmeckt man jedesmal! Als Stammgast seit Eröffnung kann ich das Restaurant 991 Soy wärmstens weiter empfehlen, Sushi Liebhaber werden begeistert sein! Tipp: unbedingt frühzeitig reservieren, gerade fürs Wochenende.

Der Service war herausragend, das Personal war aufmerksam, freundlich und stets bereit, Empfehlungen auszusprechen. Die angenehme Atmosphäre im Restaurant trug dazu bei, dass mein Besuch zu einem unvergesslichen Erlebnis wurde. Ich freue mich bereits darauf, bald wieder im "991 | SOY" zu speisen. Sushi war sehr gut und wurde - trotz des vollen Lokals - relativ schnell serviert. Der Service war ok. Ansich wäre das Restaurant schön eingerichtet, jedoch war die Lautstärke sehr unangenehm hoch.

Das Ambiente war sehr schön, der Service normal. Als Hauptgericht hatte ich Teriaki Chicken, war okay. Das Sushi an den Nachbartischen sah aber fantastisch aus. Wer Sushi mag ist hier richtig, für andere Gerichte würde ich andere Restaurants empfehlen. Die Preise liegen etwas über dem normal (20 Euro pro Person, 1 getränk, kein Sushi)

Das Essen war okay, für meinen Geschmack war die Soße meiner Udon Nudeln viel zu süß und das Gemüse noch zu hart. Das Sushi von den Nebentischen sah jedoch sehr lecker und frisch aus.

Ich bin die letzten zwei Jahre immer mal wieder ins 991 Soy gegangen. Leider musste ich jedoch feststellen, dass die Portionen immer kleiner wurden und die Qualität schlechter. Früher habe ich dasselbe wie heute bestellt und war satt. Das ist nun nicht mehr der Fall. Ich finde es sehr schade, dass sich das Essen dort so negativ entwickelt hat und dafür zahlt man einen stolzen Preis. Wir waren zu zweit und haben Getränke, sowie einmal Mango Duck für meinen Freund, 16 Sushirollen für mich und eine gemeinsame Vorspeise bestellt. Mit Trinkgeld waren das dann mal gute 55€, dafür dass wir nicht mal satt wurden.

Das Sushi war nicht so gut wie erwartet. Die Art des Anrichtens war langweilig und das Sushi nur mittelmäßig. Für den Preis hätte ich mehr erwartet. Der Service war nett, aber zurückhaltend.

Essen war gut, Personal einigermaßen freundlich. Minuspunkt: Es gibt keine Wickelmöglichkeit!

Geschmacklich und optisch leider kein Highlight dafür sehr teuer im Gegensatz zu anderen Sushirestaurants in Rgbg.

Gutes Essen, Kellner hat jedoch zweimal das falsche Essen gebracht und erst nach mehrmaligem Nachfragen das eigentlich richtige Gericht serviert.

Die Udon Nudeln mit Hähnchen waren sehr gut, das Sushi ist mäßig gut, viel zu teuer für das was angeboten wird. Spicy Tuna war nicht spicy und mit Thunfisch aus der Dose mit Mayonnaise angerichtet . So habe ich das noch nie gegessen. Die Special Rolle waren nicht special, Standard Sushi und eher lieblos. Innen nettes Ambiente , außen eher lieblos wie in einem schnell Imbiss

Nice and cozy, but it depends about the food; I tried the tempura roll, smoke salmon, asaki nigri, and smoked maki, and my review is as follows: Tempura roll (4 pcs): 4.5/5; delicious. Smoke salmon (4 pcs): 2/5; wasn't as expected; not properly wrapped and needs more salmon. Asaki Nigri (2 pcs): 4/5; very good. Salmon maki (8 pcs): 2/5; very small pieces and not properly wrapped. Service: 2.5/5; average service with slow response. Place: 4.5/5; nice and cozy. Overall: 3.3

Schöne Location in der Altstadt von Regensburg. Nettes und schnelles Personal. Das Sushi war wirklich sehr lecker! Besonders empfehlen kann ich die frittierten Sushi und die mit Reisflocken. In das Soy komme ich gerne wieder!
