Ogawa in Regensburg

Wir waren gestern dort, Essen ist in Ordnung. Der Service könnte jedoch besser sein, hier war mal etwas nachlässig. Auch das Ambiente hat uns leider nicht su gut gefallen.

Restaurant hat dauerhaft geschlossen! Kann daher nicht empfohlen werden.

Kann man machen muss man aber nicht… wobei Preisleistung völlig okay war😉🤘

Ich korrigiere meine von vor 2 Jahren abgegebene Bewertung leider nach unten: Die angebotenen Speisen waren gestern Abend ausnahmslos geschmacklich nicht gut. Fleisch teilweise zäh, die Sate bekam ich garnicht runter vom Spieß. Das einst sehr leckere Tiramisu hatte leider gestern überhaupt nichts mehr von einem Tiramisu. Es schmeckte wässrig, die Sahne war ungenießbar und Kaffee keiner vorhanden. Das Teryaki-Huhn hatte wohl schon mehrfach einen Aufwärmprozess hinter sich. Alles in allem: für € 30,- (Buffet und 1 Getränk) in meinen Augen absolut überteuert!

Das Essen ist in Ordnung, der Lärmpegel meistens etwas erhöht. Das Buffet wird nicht immer zeitnah nachgefüllt. Beim letzten Besuch war der Großteil des Sushi Angebots dauerhaft leer. Auf die bestellten Getränke wartet man gerne mal eine Weile. In der Regel findet man gleich einen Parkplatz direkt vor dem Restaurant.

Wir waren gestern dort. Angefangen hat es dass wir vier Personen plus 2 Kinder angegeben haben. Angekommen hat man uns unterstellt nur 4 Personen angegeben zu haben, man hat wohl nicht zugehört richtig. Das Essen war voller Öl, egal was es war und viel zu überwürzt leider. Bedienung hat sich so über den Kinderwagen mit schlafendem Baby gebeugt dass dieses von wach geworden ist, man kann auch aufpassen ohne sein Gewicht drauf zu drücken aufs Dach. Und nein, der Wagen stand nicht im Weg, man hätte locker von der anderen Seite kommen können. Uns allen vier ging es am nächsten Tag gar nicht gut nach dem Essen, alle mit Magenkrämpfen. Alles in einem war der Ogawa schon mal besser, hat sehr stark in allem nachgelassen. Wir bleiben künftig doch lieber bei unserem Stammlokal, Ogawa war nur eine Notlösung, nie wieder.

zum heutigen Tag am 17.01.2026 war es im Verhältnis zu anderen in Regensburg schon sehr gut, ehrlich.

Essen schmeckt nicht, alles eingedeutscht nicht original asiatische Küche, sushi ist ganz ok für Buffet. Meiner Meinung nach Preis Leistung zu teuer

Die Essensauswahl durch Buffet und Speisekarte ist ordentlich groß. Leider sind die Speisen vom Buffet, selbst die frisch zubereiteten, für meinen Geschmack nur Mittelmaß.

Gute Auswahl an Gerichten, aber zu Teil zu kalt obwohl es in der heißen Theke ist

Sehr leckeres Buffet, bisher stets zu meiner Zufriedenheit. Finde es super, dass man einen Aufpreis zahlt, wenn man zu viel auf dem Teller stapelt & nicht alles isst. Von 5 Besuchen war zum Glück nur einer dabei wo es sehr voll war. Da kann es schon laut werden & manche Gäste trampeln egoistisch am Buffet entlang ohne Rücksicht auf Verluste. Kostenlose Parkplätze gibt es auch vor Ort.

Großartiges Asien-Büfett, und eigentlich auch das einzige in Regensburg, bei dem man das Sushi auch tatsächlich essen kann. Persönlich bevorzuge ich allerdings die chinesischen Speisen oder die Möglichkeit, sich selbst etwas für den Grill zusammenzustellen. War immer unser Lieblings-Asien-Büfett in Regensburg (und wir haben sie ALLE ausprobiert), bevor wir weggezogen sind.

So nice. Bin satt und kann eigentlich nichts mehr essen, aber will immer noch was essen, weil's einfach so lecker schmeckt🤤

The evening buffet has a wide selection, but unfortunately, all the dishes are very oily and heavily seasoned, so you'll have to order more drinks. It's a great place for class, family, or friends gatherings!

Google says it's open, but if you drive there, the door says "Company Holiday" Thanks for nothing.

Very tasty food; lots of choice

The food was okay, but unspectacular. Most of the hot dishes offered at the buffet were somewhat similar and somewhat undifferentiated in taste. The teriaki chicken tasted like it had been dead a bit too long—a completely subjective impression, of course. On the other hand, the hot and sour soup was one of the best I've ever eaten.

The food is absolutely fine for an all-you-can-eat option, but I find it absolutely cheeky that they told us that every guest had to order a drink, otherwise they wouldn't be allowed to have a buffet.

The food was always really good, as you would expect from a buffet. Unfortunately, the last two times the service was so unfriendly and angry every time you got something to eat that you simply couldn't enjoy it. When the plate was brought from the grill, it was literally thrown onto the table. It's a shame, we used to enjoy going there often but then we didn't anymore.

The Ogawa really offers everything you could wish for in an Asian restaurant: from a varied all-you-can-eat menu to an extensive à la carte selection, no wish is left unfulfilled. I was particularly impressed by the quality of the food – everything was fresh, lovingly prepared and simply delicious. But what really makes Ogawa special is the family-run team. Whether in the kitchen or in the service – you can tell that the people here have passion and heart. As a guest, you feel welcome and well looked after from the first moment. A big thank you to the entire team for this great experience! I will definitely come back and can only warmly recommend Ogawa to everyone.

I like going there and feel very comfortable in the atmosphere. The staff is very accommodating and the food is just really good and fresh. Always happy.

We were very disappointed with this all-you-can-eat restaurant. The choice of food was very small, the offerings were limited and there was nothing special. Once a dish was empty, it simply wasn't refilled. You either had to wait or go without food. A particularly negative experience was with the ice cream and desserts: the staff started clearing them away even though there were still guests sitting at the table. When asked why the ice cream was gone, they suddenly said there was no ice cream at all - even though the ice cream container was full five minutes earlier. Completely disrespectful to the guests. Some dishes were cold, which is absolutely unacceptable. In addition, the staff does not speak German, which makes communication very difficult. Overall – not recommended. The overall impression was negative.

All in all, quite good, but I have to deduct 1 star because the plates at the buffet are actually always dirty. This is avoidable!

Yes. Unfortunately no credit card payment possible; cash or debit card only. I expected sushi to be tastier. But overall the buffet is recommended.

Disappointed 😔 We relied on the great photos and reviews and took a detour on our journey home! The sushi 🍣 offering on the buffet is minimal and not particularly high quality. Absolutely nothing is added, what's all is all! The normal Asian meta menu is just medium standard and therefore nothing special. It's a shame 😔 But experience makes you wise 😅 Next time it will definitely be Running Sushi in the city center again! What's missing: It was the lunch buffet, The price of €15 is cheap for a heavy eater, but this unfortunately affects the quality.

Away from the typical Asia Palace restaurants, you can eat comfortably here with very good quality. Friendly person and the food round off a special Asian evening. Any time!

Delicious sushi, teriyaki grill, very good service - great price-performance ratio. I recently forgot my wallet there, the owner was super friendly and tried to reach me. Everything was perfect for me - thank you very much for that - that's not a given. I would be happy to be a guest there again at any time.

It was a buffet and there wasn't everything I could tolerate and like. There are a lot of different desserts. It was all delicious, but I was missing something.

In my opinion one of the best buffet restaurants in Regensburg. There is a wide selection of fresh ingredients that are then fried. The sushi is extremely good for a buffet! Only the finished dishes at the buffet are sometimes only lukewarm and occasionally you have to wait longer until they are refilled. The dishes from the menu were really large portions and also tasted very good

I've been there several times and have always been very satisfied until yesterday. A little disappointed for the first time yesterday. It was very busy and the staff seemed a bit annoyed. We got a cola that was no longer carbonated. Complained at the counter. New Coke was brought in very rudely, saying what was wrong with the other Coke. Unfortunately my beef was on the grill for too long, but the vegetables were still very firm to the bite. Deep fried shrimp appeared to be breaded with the shell on. I still give it 4 stars because everything has always been great so far.

Everything was fine and the food was delicious. However, we didn't arrive until around 8 p.m. and the sushi buffet was already pretty thin and it wasn't being refilled.

Were there at lunchtime. Sushi was sold out quickly, wasn't refilled, small selection at the buffet. Quality of the food ok but not good. Friendly service, but they prefer to chat at the counter instead of checking out who else might be thirsty. Conclusion: there are better shops, ok for a lot of things

Unfortunately, that was my last visit to Ogawa! Be careful, spoiled food! After the price for the evening buffet rose again to €23.90, which was now borderline for me, I didn't want to order anything to drink. Unfortunately, I was then told succinctly and unkindly that I had to order something. So ok, instead of 'just' €23.90 it's €26.90 with the cheapest drink. The selection of food was the same as always, only it was getting more and more expensive. Unfriendly owners. They're not Japanese, they're Chinese. Ended up eating spoiled chocolate pudding AND spoiled vanilla pudding! When I pointed out that the pudding was spoiled, the entire pudding was quickly removed from the refrigerator compartment. No apology, no discount... that's not how it works! 👎

You cannot eat at the buffet without buying a drink. Maybe you should put this on the homepage... In other words, no buffet without a drink. Otherwise I would have had to leave. It's just that there are also customers who don't need anything to drink while eating. That used to be better. We're not coming anymore👎

I was here with my family for lunch buffet. We arrived quite late (buffet ends at 2pm and we were at the restaurant at 1:15pm) We were still given a very warm welcome and were kindly informed that the buffet would be closing soon. The food was standard for a buffet and not particularly bad but not particularly good either, all you can eat. I also thought it was nice that we were asked if we would like anything else from the buffet. That was especially important because we were the last ones and the whole staff was up and waiting. There are 4 stars only because of my own stupidity, but also because I hope that the feedback is received. I only discovered the sushi side of the buffet at the end when I was full. I didn't know that there was sushi on the right side because it's slightly angled. I would have been happy about a sushi exhibitor or sign. All in all, the staff was great and the buffet was exactly what I expected. Many thanks to the whole team.

Asian cuisine in a quite tasty version. In the Lunch Menu you pay once and eat as much as you want, very profitable, gives you the opportunity to try everything.

Very tasty in this segment. Very good selection of sushi, well fried things on the grill. In fact, you should come right at the beginning, because after an hour a lot of things were gone and simply hadn't been refilled or were clearly too slow. Warm buffet below average and the focus is more on other things. Dessert selection standardized, as in every restaurant of this type. The bottom line is that you can, however, and even several times, just at the right time.

Very friendly staff! Prices are cheap. However, this is also reflected in the quality of the food. We had lunch there. So it may be of higher quality in the evening. At lunchtime I really have to say that I can't confirm the restaurant's high rating. Unfortunately, very much below expectations.

Unfortunately it's quite expensive. 3 people can easily spend 100 euros. Buffe is great but as I said, take a lot of money with you.

In the past as well as today, absolutely recommended if you like sushi and various other Asian food. Nicely decorated and large. Friendly staff and large selection at the buffet. But even without a buffet you can find what you're looking for and get your fill here. Prices are now more expensive, but still in the green range for a long time. The food is very good and so are the desserts.

The restaurant is actually nice. The staff polite, dispatching. The best thing is the small sushi bar, the buffet offering is manageable and lukewarm. Unfortunately, in our case, the animals from the Tepanyaki grill died at least three times, very badly and lukewarm again. Conclusion for me, if you like going to the buffet and somehow think it's nice to eat there, you can go, I for one didn't find it nice

Perfekter Service, Essen und die Auswahl außergewöhnlich gut, Preise total gerechtfertigt

Wir kommen regelmässig mindestens 2 mal im Monat , als Paar oder mit Freunden . Das Personal war immer freundlich, das Essen immer gut und es hat jedem (auch veganern) geschmeckt . Die Getränke kommen schnell, bei uns mittlerweile ohne gross was sagen zu müssen (spezi und helles hat sich die Chefin schon gemerkt) , auch das gegrillte immer tip top . Der absolute Wahnsinn ist das sushi ......... einfach ein Traum.

Essen war sehr lecker und sah sehr gut aus. Es war aber meist etwas kalt, aber das Essen war geschmacklich einfach perfekt. Kosten waren auch sehr in einem akzeptablen Rahmen. Das Restaurant war wirklich voll und das Sushi ging sehr schnell alle. Kann es aber nur weiter empfehlen!

Nettes, zuvorkommendes Personal. Tolle Auswahl und Qualität der Speisen.

Es ist deutschlandweit mein absoluter Lieblingsorte zum Essen. Es gibt ein gutes Angebot an verschiedenen Speisen welche immer ordentlich und gut schmecken und aussehen. Ich kann jedem nur empfehlen dort einmal hinzugehen. Die Preise sind absolut in Ordnung. Für zwei Personen Buffet und haufenweise Trinken und Trinkgeld oben drauf 60 - 65 Euro ist vollkommen ok. Für Veranstaltungen oder einfach einen gemütlichen einmalig schönen Mittag/Abend absolut perfekt. Freundliche Angestellte welche gerne helfen und freundlich und respektvoll sind. Die Umgebung sauber und angehmen temperiert. Wunderschöne Einrichtung.

Da Buffet ist überaus reichlich. Auswahl für jeden Geschmack und auch etwas teurer. Service ist total ok. Aber eine Lautstärke im Lokal, die muss man mögen.

Meiner Meinung nach das bestes Buffet. Qualität sehr gut und Optik ebenfalls. Vor allem sehr sauber. Frisch zubereitete Speisen kommen auch so an wie abgegeben. Viel Auswahl an Fisch, Fleisch Gemüse. Nicht zu vergessen das Sushi-Buffet, hmmmmm….

Sehr authentisch eingerichtet das Restaurant mit frisch zubereitete Speisen direkt vor deinen Augen. Tolle Mitarbeiter, schneller Service, immer ein Lächeln auf dem Gesicht. Immer wieder ein Erlebnis! Beste Sushi!

Eingedeutschtes chinesisches Essen! Nicht wirklich autentische chinesische Küche...Massenabfertigung zum Büfettessen. Shuhi nur die billigsten Variationen!

Unser Lieblingschinese nach wie vor. Wir bleiben treu. Schmeckt uns super dort. Das Buffet ist sehr gut. Alles prima.

Die Sushi Auswahl lässt zu wünschen übrig. Es wird am Fisch gespart. Bei der Frage wann Lachs Sushi nachgelegt wird braucht man erst mal drei Mitarbeiter bis eine Dame versteht worum es geht. Dann heißt es, es ist ja Buffet, erst mal muss noch das andere gegessen werden?! Immerhin hat man danach nochmal etwa 20 Sushi nachgelegt, die bei einem vollen Lokal in 5 Minuten wieder weg waren. Mit den Fotos im Internet hat das gar nichts zu tun! Das Buffet Essen ist gut. Aber auch nicht besser als bei irgend einem anderen Asiaten. Ich werde nicht mehr hingehen.
