The udon noodle dishes were okay. Nothing special and kept simple, but recommended for in between. Good quantity for the price.

What a place... came for bubble tea as they advertise them but they don't actually have them 🤷🏻 what a shame we walked across the city for them. We decided to eat. Staff won't-can't speak english, food is average I'd say. NO MASTERCARD or VISA PAYMENT! Wow. It means 99% of the people can't pay here with their card. I went to withdraw money. The waitress couldn't give the change back only after she went back to the restaurant. Sorry, no tip, service was not good enough and false advertisement had been made.

The lady boss doesn't know English, but what she means is that you can either go to the bank to withdraw it, which is quite speechless for tourists. The taste is not bad, let's weigh it ourselves.

We go to the Rice Hat more often because the restaurant is centrally located in downtown Regensburg and each of us can find a delicious dish. Whether you are a vegetarian, an Asian noodle or rice lover or even our school child - there is something for everyone. Our recommendations: On Nuts, Crispy Rolls and Buffalo Bill. The prices are really okay. There are a few spots in the alley outside to sit and inside it's a bit cramped but cozy. However, the service is not that great. There used to be an attentive, friendly service, but now I always have the feeling that we as guests are not really wanted or tolerated. The food comes quickly, but the waitresses are not attentive. We went to dinner with work once and made a reservation. It was very busy that day and people were already waiting for a place. We had just finished eating, so we hadn't been sitting for long and wanted to have something to drink when the waitress forced the bill on us. Then we left. The toilets are sometimes not ready for use. You should note that you can only pay by card from 20 euros. Nevertheless, it is our go-to place in Regensburg for good Vietnamese food.

The noodle soup at the Rice Hat can do something. I had a small Pho with tofu and the broth was outstanding in taste.

A combination of fried rice and duck, fried spring rolls, and beer. It was delicious as usual on the terrace, but the spring rolls in particular were voluminous, freshly fried and crispy! It was very delicious.

the crispy duck in spicy mango sauce was very good with fresh chunks of mango and a hint of curry. the duck skin was not as crispy as other places but the vegetable was fresh and crunchy. Warm cozy atmosphere with decent service. No credit card accepted, only EC debit card over 20€

Unfortunately I cannot recommend the restaurant. The young employee is aggressive and the portion doesn't match the price, and it just tastes bad...

Standard bland Germanized pan-Asian food at a premium price with slow service. Not recommended, but worth visiting if necessary.

The food is good, but the service is mediocre. We were there with a baby including a stroller and were very unwanted. I understand the lack of space but they didn't even try to help us but said that they had to go everywhere and that the stroller was annoying. So we left again. A pity....

We went here to eat with the voucher book. The boss said: The voucher is only valid for 8 euros. Totally disgraceful! And you can't do anything about it. The voucher book is a complete scam. !!!

Essen war lecker, das bißchen Eisberg Salat hätte man sich sparen können, Personal freundlich aber wenig zuvorkommend. All in all gutes Restaurant :)

Spontaner Besuch mit einer Freundin. Keine Begrüßung, die Speisekarte haben wir uns dann selber von einem anderen Tisch geholt. Aufnahme der Bestellung ohne jeglichen Blickkontakt, reine Abfertigung. Dazu kam, dass die Bedienung schlimm Husten hatte. Die Vorspeise war noch okay, aber das Hauptgericht war in meinem Fall viel zu salzig (Udon Nudeln), das Essen meiner Freundin schmeckte säuerlich. Nach dem Essen noch kurz auf die Toilette? Lieber nicht. Den beißenden Uringestank hatte ich noch länger in der Nase. Seife ist extrem verdünnt mit Wasser, Tücher zum Abtrocknen gibt es nicht, und die Nachbarn können einem beim Pieseln zugucken. Achja, Damentoilette war defekt. Auf der Herrentoilette ist der Pissoir direkt neben der Toilette... Wenn man sitzt fast auf Nasenhöhe. Ein mehr als unerfreulicher Besuch, definitiv nicht zu empfehlen.

Their curries were to die for when we visited 🤤🤤 I absolutely loved the peanut sauce and spicy mango sauce with crispy chicken combo. It tasted really good. The coconut soup was also delicious and perfect for the winter.

Angesichts der durschnittlichen Qualität, des Geschmacks und des Ambientes ingesamt etwas zu teuer. Ich würde vermutlich nicht mehr hier herkommen.

Vorab, ich habe ein Studium in der Nahrungsmittelwissenschaft besucht, mit Fokus auch auf Restaurant und gesunde Ernährung auf höchstem aktuellem wissenschaftlichen Standard. Das merke ich nur an, um die Aussagen diverser Bewertungen über das Essen besser angreifen zu können, denn, die Gerichte sind im Preis-Leistungs-Gesundheits-Verhältnis, Königsklasse. Das heißt unter den besten Restaurants, wenn es um Qualität, wirklich gesundes Essen (nur so viel Salz wie nötig, frisches nicht zu lange gebratenes Gemüse, Kräuter, Auswahl an sämtlichen äußerst verträglichen, basischen, nährstoffreichen Gerichten, viel vegetarisch und vegan), und Preis geht, ist dieses Restaurant teil meiner Top 10! Wer nur übersalzenes primitives, an Westkultur angepasstes Asiatisch mag, (was auch mal genehmigt sei), ist hier allerdings bestimmt nicht so glücklich, wie anderswo. Service durchschnittlich, Atmosphäre charaktervoll und klein. (Geheimtipp für Suppenliebhaber: Dr pho Suppe mit Tofu/Fleisch, mild, fein gewürzt, gesund, riesige Portion) Und nun guten Appetit, an die Feinschmecker.

Meine Erfahrung im Restaurant "Rice Hat" in Regensburg war schlichtweg hervorragend und verdient ohne Zweifel eine fünf Sterne Bewertung. Dieses Restaurant hat nicht nur kulinarisch, sondern auch im Bereich Service und Sauberkeit beeindruckt. Der Service im "Rice Hat" war wirklich top. Das Personal war nicht nur professionell, sondern auch äußerst aufmerksam und freundlich. Besonders erwähnenswert ist die Tatsache, dass sie bereitwillig auf meine speziellen Essenswünsche eingegangen sind. Als jemand, der in Sachen Essen etwas wählerisch ist, schätze ich es besonders, wenn ein Restaurant die Mühe auf sich nimmt, individuelle Bedürfnisse zu erfüllen. Das hat den Besuch für mich noch angenehmer gestaltet. Das Essen im "Rice Hat" war darüber hinaus super super lecker. Die Vielfalt der Speisekarte ermöglicht es, für jeden Geschmack etwas zu finden. Mein persönlicher Favorit war das Gericht mit Ente und Reis in Curry Sauce. Die Aromen waren perfekt ausbalanciert, und die Qualität der Zutaten war deutlich spürbar. Dieses Gericht kann ich ohne Zweifel weiterempfehlen – ein wahrer Genuss für die Geschmacksknospen. Neben der geschmacklichen Qualität möchte ich auch die Sauberkeit im Restaurant hervorheben. Das Ambiente wirkte durchgehend gepflegt und einladend. Saubere Tische, ordentliche Präsentation der Speisen und eine insgesamt angenehme Atmosphäre trugen dazu bei, dass der Besuch im "Rice Hat" rundum positiv in Erinnerung bleibt. Zusammenfassend war mein Aufenthalt im Restaurant "Rice Hat" ein echtes Highlight. Der erstklassige Service, das super leckere Essen und die Sauberkeit im Lokal haben mich restlos überzeugt. Ein besonderes Dankeschön an das aufmerksame Personal, das meinen Besuch durch die Berücksichtigung meiner Essenspräferenzen zu etwas Besonderem gemacht hat. Very tasty duck, fresh salad. Fast service

Seit Monaten bin ich treuer Stammkunde beim Mittagessen in diesem prinzipiell essenstechnisch nicht schlecht zu bewertenden Restaurant. Heute war ich mit meinem Mann dort Mittagessen und wir zeigten vorab ein Regensburger Restaurant-Gutscheinbuch, das schriftlich versprach, dass das zweite, gleichwertige Hauptessen gratis ist. Als wir zahlen wollten, teilte man uns mit, dass dies nicht akzeptiert wird und man nur bereit wäre, den Preis um 8 Eur zu reduzieren. Auch telefonische Rücksprache mit dem Gutschein-Verkaufsbüro konnte daran nichts ändern, sodass wir verärgert kein Trinkgeld gaben und auch das ausstehende Rückgeld von 10 Cent erwarteten. Daraufhin gab uns die junge Kellnerin 10 einzelne Cent-Stücke zurück.....die haben wir dann unter einem Löffel liegen lassen, da wir dort niemals mehr essen werden...man kann nur intensiv von diesem unkulanten Schuppen abraten...

KEIN MITTAGSMENÜ, es gibt kein Mittagsmenü. Alte reviews sind nicht mehr aktuell. Essen ist sehr lecker und Service ist sehr nett. Leider hat es ziemlich nach Chemie und anderen Dingen aus der Toilette in den Speisesaal gerochen, deshalb 2 Sterne Abzug.

Also normalerweise halte ich mich schlechteren Rezessionen zurück, vor allem bei so etwas individuellem wie dem Geschmack. Allerdings hatte ich trotz dessen das ich ein Gericht ohne Erdnüsse bestellt hab (hatte ein einfaches Curry bestellt) einen allergischen Schock und musste ins Krankenhaus. Ich tippe darauf das evtl. die Pfannen nicht richtig gespült werden oder was auch immer… An andere mit Allergien vllt ein Appell, dass man es vorher nochmal äußert und als Appell an die Küche, dass sowas passieren kann allerdings nicht sollte. Außerdem hatten wir bei der Bestellung auch eine falsche Vorspeise bekommen, die wir offensichtlich nicht annehmen wollten. Die Bedingungen hat aber so darauf bestanden, dass wir sie letztendlich genommen haben.. sowas geht eigentlich auch nicht, finde ich dem Kunden gegenüber einfach nicht fair. Generell einfach schade… Das Essen generell war nicht besser als der Durchschnitt

Lage sehr gut, aber das Rindfleisch mit Zwiebeln war ok, nichts besonderes. Würde nächstes Mal was anderes wählen oder zur Konkurrenz gehen. Wenig Fleisch, viel Zwiebeln. Preislich dennoch gut für 13€.

Wir waren an einem Samstag Abend hier essen. Es gab viel Platz und war auch nicht zu voll. Eher ruhig und sehr angenehm zum Unterhalten. Essen und Getränke war sehr lecker, vegetarische Gerichte/Auswahlmöglichkeiten gab es auch genügend, allerdings kamen wenig Vorschläge von der Bedienung bzgl. anderer Soße statt Fischsoße.

Wir waren kürzlich zum Mittagessen im Rice Hat. Mein Mann fand sein Essen sehr gut, meines war mittelmäßig. Es gibt in Regensburg sicherlich bessere, aber auch schlechtere vietnamesische Restaurants. Der Service lies leider etwas zu wünschen übrig. Während dem Essen (Teller zu 3/4 voll) wollte die Bedienung mehrfach abräumen - wir konnten unsere Teller gerade noch verteidigen. Das Ambiente im Restaurant ist nett, allerdings kommt auf den Toiletten richtiges Vietnam-Feeling auf: Türgriff fehlt, Damen-WC defekt, Herren-WC schmuddelig und Wasser läuft nicht ab. Irreführend fanden wir zudem, dass am Gutscheinbuch teilgenommen wird, aber zu vollkommen anderen Bedingungen als im Buch angegeben. Dies wurde uns immerhin vor der Bestellung kommuniziert, aber bei der Rechnung sogar noch aufgerundet. Ob die Teilnahme am Gutscheinbuch sinnvoll ist, muss jeder Wirt für sich entscheiden. Dann sollte Fair Play aber für beide Seiten gelten.

Angenehmes und legeres Ambiente in einem sehr kleinen Restaurant. Der Service war super freundlich und das Essen mit super frisches Gemüse und perfekten Geschmack. Das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis war mehr als perfekt! Gene wieder wenns in die Altstadt geht ;-)
