Waren zum ersten mal dort. Ein richtig schönes Restaurant, das Essen war sehr gut, der Service freundlich und das Ambiente sehr schön eingerichtet. Gibt auch Möglichkeiten sich draußen zu setzen. 😁

Das Essen war sehr lecker, die Leber war sehr saftig und zart, der Djuvecreis war auch sehr lecker und gar nicht matchig wie es oft sein kann. Es gibt manche Seltsamkeiten in Fragen von Zahlungen, aber dank schnelle und freundliche Bedienung und leckeres Essen kann man sie nicht merken

Haben dort spontan zu Abend gegessen. Das Lokal ist sehr ansprechend und gemütlich eingerichtet. Der Kellner war sehr nett und freundlich. Portionsgrößen sind auch super, wir wurden alle drei satt. Essen ging auch sehr schnell. Kommen gerne wieder, Essen war gut und uns hat es sehr gefallen.

Ein wunderschönes Lokal im rustikalen Stil mit kroatischer Küche und Weinen – absolut empfehlenswert! Das Personal ist sehr hilfsbereit und freundlich. Ein großes Lob an das gesamte Team und die Küche, die diese wunderbaren und köstlichen Speisen zubereitet!

I've known this restaurant for a very long time; I've always celebrated my Christmas party there with my employees. The senior owner was always attentive, friendly, and always there for us. I think his son is doing the same. Thank you so much for the wonderful Christmas parties at the "Golden Ox."

Since 1992, the Goldener Ochs restaurant and the Brekalo family in Regensburg have stood for friendly and courteous service, as well as outstanding Croatian specialties and Bavarian delicacies. A small but truly exquisite dining room with rustic decor and cozy tables. I recently visited for the first time and had the Grillplatte special. The portion size was just about right, but the preparation was precise and the flavor was amazing. The house-made pickled garlic is served without further ado. The menu boasts delicious dishes and can be viewed online on the website. Advance reservations are recommended, and can also be made conveniently online.

The food was excellent. The trout and the funny Dalmatian were very well cooked and tasted delicious. Just like the side salad. Well, and the hosts know how to be good hosts. Since we were happy last year, we reserved a table for yesterday after the light show. Unfortunately this time it was a failure. The meat skewer consisted almost entirely of fat. You couldn't eat. The boss thought it was funny and said I should have just eaten Cevapcici. That's not how you treat a guest. It could have been clarified differently. Sorry not my local.

Der lustige Dalmatiner ( Schweinefilet mit Schinken und Käse gefüllt) vom Grill- lecker, Kaiserschmarren lecker, Krautsalat lecker u.u.u Der Koch hat viel selbstgemachtes im Angebot, was einfach nur lecker ist. We felt very comfortable. We ate the grilled squid and the plesciavica - both were delicious! We can unreservedly recommend the Golden Ochs.

We were there yesterday and ate the liver, a dream! Nicely thinly sliced ​​and grilled to perfection, the fries and rice went very well with it! Service was very attentive and quick and the ambience in the next room was very good and you could also have a great conversation.

Wir essen hier öfter und es ist jedes mal super gutes Essen. Die Speisekarte ist nicht so groß dafür jedes Gericht ein Gaumenschmaus. Wir ,das sind mein Mann , Bruder, Schwägerin und auch Freunde, gehen zu verschiedenen Anlässen immer gern zum Speisen hier her. Noch dazu gibt es auch sehr gute erlesene Weine. Der Service ist hervorragend. Der Besitzer sehr sehr nett. Alles in allem ein tolles Restaurant.

We had dinner at Goldener Ochs twice during our short stay in Regensburg this week. Both times me and my wife ate seafood dishes, and the kids had meats and sausages. Grilled fish and scampi were some of the best we ever had, prepared just right and leaving the feeling that we just had a delicious home-cooked meal. The place was very busy both days, but the family which runs it found a way to accommodate us, both times without reservations (it’s a good idea to reserve a table though). It’s hard to tell but it feels that it’s frequented by locals even more than by tourists. To my taste, the place is a gem. I will be back whenever in Regensburg.

Wir waren heute Mittag wieder mal hier beim Essen mit 4 Personen. Hervorragendes Essen wurde innerhalb kurzer Zeit serviert. Der Krautsalat war wie immer total lecker. Preis -/Leistungsverhältnis war super. Zum Abschluss erhielten wir dann Slivovitz .

Wir sind zufällig hier vorbei gekommen und.. Anfangs dachte ich mir..ok. Rustikal,Bayrisch halt. Aber es ist doch mehr. Der große alte Ofen inmitten des Raumes. Verschiedene Bilder und Malereien, die eigentlich nicht zusammen passen, aber das Bild des Lokals erfrischen. Wir wurden sehr freundlich begrüßt und bewirtet. Aufmerksamkeit steht hier im Vordergrund. Essen und Salat waren wirklich frisch und lecker und ging flott. Authentisch passt alles in allem gut. Zum Schluss gab es nen Absacker aufs Haus...PS. Der Wein war auch 😋...

Great food and beer to end the day. Two had the burgers which were delicious and well proportioned. Myself and my wife had the wiener schnitzel which again was very tasty with a generous portion of fries. Well priced as well. 78 euros for all four meals plus a beer.
