I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone. We were there on Saturday evening, an unknown Balkan singer and his band were supposed to perform. Entry cost €10 per person and we were greeted by a half-naked woman - completely unprofessional and you just felt uncomfortable, especially if you are there with your wife. The menu was very limited and expensive. For starters there was only one option and it cost €20 per person but you had to order for at least 2 people - it was a few pieces of ham, about 15 cubes of cheese, a few small pieces of meat, a bit of green, and some cashews and almonds - that's it Cost us €40. There were only 5 main courses, 3 of which were variations with meat and even one 250g and one 350g portion of the same dish. Side dishes cost extra (between €6.5 and €9), but only if you also had a main course, which we didn't end up doing. Drinks were OK and the price was usual for drinks. The young gentleman who served us was very nice and professional. The place was full of people, tables were placed very close together, most of the tables had benches, i.e. without backrests, and that's how you were supposed to spend the evening? The benches were also placed on a step, which was of course very dangerous. Some people sat facing the wall, 1 meter away from the wall - pure experience. Then 2 hours later the singer came with his band. He sounded like he hadn't eaten anything (he probably ate in the restaurant), sang completely off key and quietly.
Our evening ended with us eating at McDonalds because we didn't want to spend a fortune in a place like that. They simply don't deserve our money. We'll never see each other there again.
Not recommended!
This is a small to medium sized south indian restaurant that serves north Indian dishes too. Chef is south indian though. Their speciality is south indian. Recommended for family and friends gathering upto 8 members.
Do not rely on the menu, the restaurant fluctuates the menu based on customer traffic. For example, South indian meals or any other meals were not available the day we visited. They only had north Indian meals, even though it was a Sunday and they had special meals specificed in the menu. Do call the restaurant and confirm if you are specifically going for SOUTH INDIAN MEALS. dosa was good
Ordered again from Dominos with exact delivery details. Again the driver couldn't find the delivery address. Unfortunately he couldn't speak German either. Ultimately he found the location but couldn't get the 1st floor signed from the 2nd floor and left again. Unfortunately, this has happened several times now. DOMINOS NO THANKS!
The four of us sat inside for pizza and were completely satisfied. The service was extremely attentive, the pizza was delicious, and the atmosphere was great. The only thing was that the Prosecco we had with it didn't taste good from the bottle. The Lugana, however, was even better! We'd go back anytime!
Unfortunately, the information “pre-order” was not received when ordering online. In general, the ordering system caused total problems, only accepted landline numbers and no cell phone numbers and I was allowed to enter everything twice.
So the poor delivery man stood in front of the locked door and then came back 2 hours later with the old pizzas that had been kept warm. My son spat them out with the word “disgusting.” But maybe these fresh could actually be good. For the full price and basically correct orders (we ordered in pairs so that everything was correct and I work in e-commerce) I got old and not good pizzas for the normal price.
So we will never order there again, even though we are now moving to the area. So financially it wasn't worth it at all for Smileys, but that's how everyone learns.
Unfortunately, I can't recommend Nordsee in Pasinger Arkaden... I ordered plaice fillet with potatoes and asparagus, dry fish, potatoes with no taste, everything cold.
If I find an exotic restaurant with such bad reviews, I'm sure I'll enjoy it.
I had Mui Choi Kau Yuk and I and my companions enjoyed it.
The Mapo Tofu from my blackheads was also excellent, especially all the dishes were exceptionally seasoned.
Anyone who expects an Asian restaurant with fried duck or fried rice with chicken breast to be “as usual” is wrong here.
The ambience isn't hip either.
But the food reminds me more of being cooked at home and is not served in a fancy way.
For me it was a successful experience from the first bite to the toilet worth seeing.
