It can't get any worse. Let Aperol Sprizz go back 3 times because of dirt and insects in the glass. Glass was exchanged, but the drink was only spilled. The cocktail tomatoes on the pizza tasted old and fermented. With the pizza we got chili oil with a deceased wasp in a jar. The waiter reacted extremely unfriendly to our complaints. We were there with a Groupon voucher, the meal had already been paid for, otherwise we would have left before the meal.

There were two people waiting and they both had the Black Tiger prawns on a summer salad. Was served quite quickly, the three prawns were cold. The salad was more like a side salad. In my opinion the sauce was cocktail sauce from a bottle and there was way too much of it. In the salad, which obviously came directly from the cutting machine to the plate, there were several pieces of lettuce that were still tightly attached to each other and had to be pulled apart first. When I found the third stalk of lettuce, I stopped eating. The “pizza bread with garlic” only came when we asked; the waiter apparently didn’t realize that this was part of the dish. To charge €23.90 for this impudence is Munich satire. The service itself was otherwise fine. The salad with the lettuce stalks was not charged. However, I won't go to this store again.

Ordered the Black Tiger Prawns on summer salad for lunch. Sounds great! Got a side salad with shrimp. 23.90 euros 😂😂😂 Garlic bread was a few small rolls with a little oil...garlic? My wife had the linguine, which was cold. Maybe the pizza is good, good luck🤞🏻

Unfortunately it was not open despite a reservation confirmed in writing; four other guests had also made reservations. Nobody available.

Were there as part of a closed party of around 90 people. The ambience is nice, but the service is poor and, with a few exceptions, the staff is unfriendly and unprofessional. Despite the fact that the number of guests and food preferences were clear months in advance, some guests had to wait 1.5 hours for the main course and were then informed (already after 10 p.m.) that the dish they had ordered in advance was no longer available. Not recommended for holding birthday parties and similar (closed) parties.

Unfortunately really not good. Not only were the prices high, but so was our food. Service was very abrupt and annoyed even though there were not 5 tables occupied. That's too little overall! As a guest, I don't want to be a burden to anyone and therefore forego another visit.

We had reserved a table before a concert. The staff was clearly overwhelmed, we had trouble getting a drink, and we were able to order food but didn't get anything. It was over 90 minutes!! That does not work like this!!

Unfortunately, the offer at the Gaia Bar and the snack bar in Gasteig HP 8 is not at all good and overpriced. The sandwiches are flabby and taste like nothing, the wine is way too expensive and warm, the cappuccino with H milk. It's a shame, the Vhs participants and lecturers are there every week and would unanimously want a better, cheaper offer.

Beautiful restaurant with an exceptional selection. We had a delicious apero spritz, the HP8 pizza with goat cheese, radicchio, honey and pomegranate and the signature pizza with salmon, buffalo mozzarella,... For dessert, an unusual, very tasty tiramisu. Worth a visit.

After half an hour we received the menu and after another 20 minutes our drinks. The food came after a total of 1 hour 20 minutes, but only after I announced that I didn't want to eat anymore and that I wanted to pay. Our food was, thank God, very good (risotto and pizza), and as compensation we were given an espresso. Conclusion: Food was very good, but overpriced (pizza €16.80, risotto around €20), service was terrible, and it was very loud in the restaurant. Risk of recurrence: 0%

Unfortunately the service was very bad and even the drinks weren't ok. After we sat on the almost empty terrace for 20 minutes and no staff came, I came into the empty restaurant and asked for service. I ordered drinks at normal prices (despite self-service) and stood at the bar like an idiot, watching the barman pour the drinks in the empty bar and carrying the drinks to the table myself. The €4.90 house lemonade (according to the menu basil, ginger, lime, soda) consisted of a glass of Almdudler with a piece of ginger. When I asked if this was really the lemonade, I was told that they had forgotten the basil leaf. Great. The shandy was also poorly mixed. Unfortunately nothing fits here. We won't be coming back.

Yesterday during the salsa party, the deposit money for plastic cups was simply thrown at me with a nasty, annoyed look instead of being handed to me. Reason: I didn't have an EC card and just wanted cash. After I asked the young woman at the checkout why she did it, she said annoyed that she didn't have any change. I told her that it's not my fault if she runs out of money and treating me like that isn't good parenting either. The discussion became more heated because she didn't realize that her behavior towards me wasn't right. So I asked about boss and she said she didn't have a boss. I looked up the boss and went with him, the same employee at the checkout this time told the boss that she hadn't thrown away the money and had never said that she was bossless. The boss then apologized to me, but didn't believe me. His comment: I have never seen her (the employee) behave badly. After the strange comment, I thanked him and said goodbye and I hope they both understood that they didn't treat me right. My evening was over and I asked myself, what's so bad about just apologizing for inappropriate behavior? Nobody can do that these days??? Then people are surprised and tell you "not with that tone" when you rebel and don't agree to being treated badly and with arrogance for no reason. I reacted accordingly, which was borderline, was provoked and simply lied to straight to my face. I can not stand that.

Unfortunately there was a lack of staff and or the employees were new. Had to ask several times if we could order something. The old gentleman said the colleague should come to this table. We didn't see any. Someone else came, but we couldn't order from him either. A third gentleman with a white shirt, who appears to be the boss, came to our table and we were finally able to order from him. The drinks had more spritz than alcohol, the food was good. When we wanted to pay we had to say 3 different ones. The waitress finally came and said we can only pay with a card inside. When we were inside she didn't find our table, we were supposed to say what we had eaten and drank, but she didn't find it that way either. So we were able to list what was there again without a table number and pay that way. Unfortunately. Gladly because of the food and ambience, but not with this kind of service.

The menu also had different pasta dishes and other options like salads or fish. The service staff was kind and relaxed. We enjoyed our stay. Toilet amenities were clean.

First of all: the dishes were all delicious, not exactly cheap, but worth the price. Otherwise the entire visit was a failure and was certainly our last in this restaurant. Apparently no one expected that on a Sunday after a wonderful concert matinée with hundreds of visitors (at HP 8) the restaurant right next door would suddenly become full. The service staff was completely overwhelmed and therefore in a bad mood. They had to wait for three quarters of an hour sitting in front of the empty table until a waiter who was not intended for this, after repeated inquiries, agreed to take the order. And wait again until the drinks and then the food came. In the same time we could have driven to Lake Chiemsee to enjoy our lunch in a country inn... We give one star for the service because we didn't starve and managed to catch our train, but for the organization of the operation it's a big minus!

Gaia is the caterer for the gasteig hp8! From a gastronomic perspective, this restaurant makes a visit to the gasteig a disaster. Of the 3 bars, 1 with two cash registers is open to 2,000 visitors. Which usually results in you having to down your drink if you get it at all. I hope that someone else will take care of the service soon. This situation has existed since gasteig hp8 opened!

The pizzas are great and the selection is also very interesting. We ordered a pizza and it came after 5 minutes and was very tasty and nicely prepared. The owner is very nice. Yes, things can get a little more stressful before concerts and one or two more waiters might not hurt, but overall we had a great visit there.

Food was very good. Very nice waitress who remained friendly despite the enormous chaos with an incredible number of guests. There was a commotion when paying because everyone wanted to go to the concert. Everyone suddenly got up and paid at the cash register instead of at the table, which made the whole place very, very uneasy. You should think about another option here, because it was very uncomfortable and spoiled what was otherwise a very nice evening.

Fully glazed room close to the temporary philharmonic hall. This could have been made into a great restaurant. It could have been beautiful and exciting... but... The furniture is wildly put together. In the inner circle there are ugly metal chairs and tables. Outside benches in orange and black metal. Mismatched chairs made of brown wood. Completely tasteless. The card was only brought when requested, and the candle at the table was only lit when requested. The food was good, but not outstanding. Service was not always attentive even though the restaurant was empty. We had to walk to the bar to order drinks. Overall: a no. Not again.

I absolutely cannot agree with the critical comments. I had dinner there with my aunt before a concert and had the following experience: Pleasant atmosphere, nice service and excellent food. Say “thank you” warmly and look forward to coming back.

My friend had ordered a table for two at 6 p.m., we wanted to have enough time for dinner before the concert. There were few tables occupied at the time and drinks were brought quickly. The food order was taken around 6:30 p.m. and the small salad and breadsticks were brought at 6:45 p.m. All tables are now occupied and there is a queue at the door. The waiters seemed very disorganized and stressed and when we asked half an hour later when the main course would be served or whether it had been forgotten, there was no information😂 it was ignored. At 7:30 p.m., after repeated requests, we received the bill and paid 43 euros for 2 glasses of Lugana, 1 water, a mini salad and 6 breadsticks! The standard in this restaurant has become poor, service is uninterested, unprofessional and disorganized and if the kitchen doesn't manage the offer, the menu has to be reduced or only pizza is offered (it was ordered at almost every table and it went quickly). Unfortunately it was the second time with us that a main course was forgotten... no apology or offer to bring an espresso etc. As subscribers to the Philharmonic, we will have to look for another restaurant!

The food was quite decent, except for the pizza (which was ruined by greasy salami on what should've been a Pizza Capricciosa) and a somewhat weird bruschetta. Gaia's atmosphere is quite nice, not too noisy and slightly elegant. But the service was somewhat grumpy and uncooperative (including the reservation process). Also a bit on the slow side with the food, albeit very quick and pushy about taking orders.

We were there on New Year's Eve before the concert. There was a very tasty menu. The staff was very attentive and everything was perfect. We had a wonderful evening

Trotz Massenandrang nach Konzert zügig unser Essen bekommen. Pizza sehr lecker, Fisch gut aber zu übersichtlich.

Wir verstehen die schlechten Rezessionen überhaupt nicht. Wir waren sehr begeistert, Essen war sehr lecker, der Service absolut aufmerksam und sehr freundlich , wir hatten einen sehr schönen Abend im Gaia. Besonderer Dank geht an unseren Ober Nello, du bist ein Wahnsinn :-) besser geht’s nicht.

Ein Restaurant, was von der Schnellabfertigung der abendlichen Philharmoniebesucher lebt. Speisen sind ruckzuck da - leider nicht die richtigen Salate, die bestellt waren, aber man reklamiert ja nicht gerne 1,5 Stunden vor Konzertbeginn. Die warmen Speisen wirkten fertig portioniert und aufgewärmt. Wir hätten besser Pizzen bestellen sollen, die sahen sehr lecker und frisch im Ofen zubereitet aus und waren eine reelle Portion - leider für die Nachbartische. Dort saßen offens. die Profis, die wussten, was man im Gaia bestellen kann und was besser nicht. Die modern-karge Atmosphäre im Restaurant strahlt keinen Charme aus, dafür aber eine Geräusch-/Lärmkulisse, die die Synapsen kurz vor Konzertbeginn arg strapaziert. Wir werden beim nächsten Konzertbesuch eines der umliegenden, bayerischen Wirtshäuser ausprobieren, im Gaia nicht ein zweites Mal. Übrigens zum Verständnis der Atmosphäre: Den urig-rustikalen Holzstadl von den Rezensionsfotos gibt's nicht mehr. Das Gaia ist kürzlich in einen modernen Sichtbeton-Glas-Stahl-Bau ungezogen.

Modernes Cafe/Restaurant an der Übergangslösung Gasteig an der Brudermühlbrücke. Weihnachtliches Ambiente sehr gemütlich. Wir hatten mit Gutschein Cocktail und Pizza, die sehr gut und groß war. Auch wurden Sonderwünsche gerne erfüllt. Personal sehr freundlich. Zu empfehlen ! Wir kommen wieder !

Perfekte Pizza für einen fairen Preis, unglaublich tolle Weihnachtsatmosphäre und schneller und sympathischer Service

Gestern war, wie in der Vorweihnachtszeit zu erwarten, viel Betirb. Das Essen war gut, aber die Portionen (abgesehen von der Pizza) waren für den Preis eher übersichtlich. Der Kellner war höflich, aber unaufmerksam. Beim Bezahlen hat er uns nur die Gesamtrechnung auf den Tisch gelegt und erwartet, dass wir uns die individuellen Rechnung selbst auseinanderdividieren. Dafür mussten wir auch relativ lange warten, bis er zum Bezahlen wiederkam. Mag sein, dass es an der Vielzahl der Gäste lag, schade ist es dennoch.

Top Service: Obwohl der Ober seinen ersten Tag hier hatte: top Wein Beratung und top Service!!!!!!! Essen für späte Stunde nach dem Konzert sehr gut - Dorade auf Kürbisschaum!

Waren gestern am Abend im Gaia beim Essen. Die Pizza war gut ABER der Service: unfreundlich und unaufmerksam. Er gab uns das Gefühl, dass wir eigentlich eher lästig sind. Ein absoluter Witz: 0,2l Spezi für 3,60€. Das grenzt an Wucher! Leider überwiegen beim Verlassen des Restaurants die negativen Aspekte und die Gewissheit, dort nicht mehr hinein zu gehen. Schade.

Essen war super lecker 😋 Raumtemperatur war leider etwas kühl schade 😢

Das essen ist hervorragend. Ein grosses lob fuer den koch. Trotzdem werde ich nicht mehr hingehen denn der herr vom personal war sehr pampig und unfreundlich und vom verhalten unprofessionell beim bezahlvorgang.

Das Essen war prima, der Laden voll. Bis es zum Essen kam, dauerte es allerdings wirklich lang.

Sehr gutes Essen und eigentlich sehr hübsches Ambiente, zumindest von der Optik her. Leider sind die Tische extrem dicht zusammen gestellt, das Lokal dadurch extrem voll und laut. An einigen der Tische gibt es Hocker, was für mich ein No-Go gewesen wäre. Das Personal war freundlich, jedoch etwas hektisch.

Die Hauptspeisen-Portionen sind sehr klein

Das Essen war nicht berauschend und dafür auch zu teuer.

Ich habe “Pizza Vale d’Aosta Mozzarella | Birne | Rauchkäse | Wallnüsse | Honig |Rucola 14,90” bestellt, dabei habe ich an die leicht karamellisierte Birne auf dem geschmolzenen Käse mit frischem Rucola und Walnüssen gedacht. Interessanterweise waren die Birnen roh drauf, leider sehr trocken und überhaupt nicht lecker.

Super netter Italiener. Tolle Pizzen, sehr netter Kellner. Kurz vor Konzerten sehr voll. Es empfiehlt sich ziemlich reservieren

Leckere Pizzen, außergewöhnliche Kreationen. Unbedingt die Trüffel und die Carbonara Pizza bestellen. Das Lokal ist jetzt wieder vom Stadel ins Gebäude verlegt worden, wir speisen aber gerne draußen und waren schon 10 x mit mehreren Leuten dort. War immer lecker.

Hauch eines Italieners aber Salat getränkt in weißer Soße..?! Pizzen waren sehr gut, Vorspeisenteller hat wenig mit Italienischer Küche zu tun, vielleicht verstehe ich ja aber auch das Konzept des Restaurants nicht. Kellner freundlich bemüht mit viel Luft nach oben im Selbstmanagement. Ich komme mal wieder für eine Pizza!
