L'Osteria Munich Bogenhausen in München

Service is simply terrible. The place has so much potential, but the poor service makes it unacceptable. When I asked for a cold coffee or coffee with ice cubes, I was told that wasn't possible. The service was abysmal five years ago, and it still is today. The management should change careers.

The friendly service is immediately noticeable. The pizzas are quite large and filling. The atmosphere is pleasant both inside and outside. The prices are reasonable. Recommended.

Simply a great atmosphere, and the service was top-notch. Thanks for the lovely evening.

An unforgettable evening with a style rescue included! What a brilliant evening at L'Osteria Bogenhausen! Our friend unfortunately made a small fashion mistake with his outfit – a see-through white shirt with classic fine rib underneath… Even good lighting couldn't help. But: The super-friendly waitress and the laid-back chef not only had a good sense of humor, but also a quick solution! Within minutes, our friend had put on an original L'Osteria #pastalover T-shirt – perfectly styled, and the evening was saved! Great food, a relaxed atmosphere, and a team that not only serves, but also rescues when it matters. Thank you so much – we'll definitely be back!

We've been waiting for our food for an hour; the order was simply no longer saved. If we hadn't asked after 40 minutes, we wouldn't have even noticed. Despite promises, the next order is still taking a while. Ultimately, we had to take the food home after 80 minutes due to a follow-up appointment. The manager, who also couldn't find the second order in the system, was so uncomfortable with the process that he paid the bill. Respect! He had a reasonable understanding of service.

The ambience is Hans, excellent, the Primitivo extremely boat as staff friendly and the food perfect

I've been a long-time customer at L'Osteria and have generally been satisfied. However, my visit today with my family was a huge disappointment. We wanted to go out to eat together and were waiting at the entrance for a table. Unfortunately, the staff member greeted us in a less than friendly manner. No smile, no greeting, no explanation for the wait – instead, a very rude and dismissive tone. Especially when traveling with family, you expect a modicum of hospitality. As a long-time guest, I would have expected much more respect and friendliness. It's a real shame.

We recently visited L'Osteria in Bogenhausen for the second time and were able to sit outside thanks to the nice weather. Once again, the service was very friendly and quick. We felt very comfortable as guests and even received a friendly, relaxed atmosphere. Even at the neighboring tables, it was clear that people enjoy coming here. Our shared salad arrived very quickly, was very generous with plenty of ingredients, and very tasty to dress ourselves, with great olive oil and balsamic vinegar, sea salt, and a pepper mill. Molto Buono! Our shared pizza was very, very good and enough for each of us. The chili oil we requested arrived faster than I could say "Grazie." Two first-class espresso doppios rounded off a perfect meal with an Italian atmosphere. (On our first visit, we had pasta dishes, which were also very tasty.) Everything, including the interior, is very well-kept and clean. Therefore, we give everything 5 stars! Whenever we're in Munich again, this L'Osteria is a must for us. We're thrilled, especially with the price and service. Keep up the good work... Thank you all!!!

Cool place for lunch, a drink, or a Sunday coffee…

So, in itself, it wouldn't be bad, apart from the fact that you wait almost 30 minutes for a response from the waiter when you sit down at a table. Then, finally, someone comes and takes your drinks, but then you have to wait another 20 minutes. Then we ordered the appetizers, which also took forever. Cutlery, bread, and oil and vinegar were only brought upon request. Then finally, the vegetable dishes... the carpaccio had 5 leaves of arugula and 3 crumbs of Parmesan cheese. At €16, I definitely expect more. We also got Parmesan cheese upon request. The table then took ages to clear for the main course. We also sometimes sat with empty glasses. The main course arrived: the calzone was cold inside, the zoodles were so spicy you could choke on them, the small Caesar salad was also very poorly prepared, and the meat inside was cold and overcooked. The espresso was also cold by the time it arrived at our table. So all in all, it's not really worth two stars. We didn't get our cutlery until the food was on the table. It felt like everything had just been made or grown. Everything always took forever. Other guests also waited forever for someone to pay attention to them. Tables weren't cleared at all; everything was left lying around. The restaurant manager also doesn't seem to care about his business. It's worth mentioning that the place was almost empty, with two waiters and an assistant, and yet not much was happening. Our waiter was still nice and polite, even though everything was very slow. L'Osteria used to be much better; everything ran more smoothly and according to plan. I would have understood if the place had been completely full... but it wasn't. Quite the opposite!! Sorry, but I've rarely wasted so much time on a lunch that was also really expensive and lacked customer service. There are far better restaurants and definitely higher quality food for that price.

Catastrophic. We're 500 meters away as the crow flies. The food arrived cold, 45 minutes late, and incomplete. One of the pizzas that did arrive was missing several ingredients. One pizza and one dessert were missing entirely. When we called them, instead of helping us or at least apologizing for the inconvenience, they simply told us in a rather unfriendly and condescending tone that we should contact Lieferando with our problem, saying it wasn't L'Osteria's problem. This was a one-off, never again!

Pizza delivered, ordered at 21:03, according to the delivery note ready at 21:33, delivered after telephone request at 22:24 and was cold

Losteria quality is always good, but the location is not as airy as you would expect and is quite cramped.

Good location, warm welcome, delicious food (huge pizzas), and reasonable prices. The only drawback was that the music was sometimes too loud.

Very nice and cozy atmosphere and delicious food. Great place for a quick lunch and socializing. I've visited this place several times and will definitely come again. This time there is a completely new staff so I think it will be better than on previous visits when they weren't very friendly.

I'd especially like to highlight the young, blonde waitress, who was super friendly, always smiling, and accommodating :)! I immediately felt like I was in good hands.☺️The food was also great: I had a Margherita with olives, and there were even two small tomatoes on top – a nice surprise! The pizza was super delicious. I'd definitely come back :)✨

We were there on a Wednesday evening, and it wasn't very busy. The music was too loud, as always. We had to return our drinks, and the food really wasn't tasty. We had to get various ingredients like salt, etc. ourselves.

The food was simply sensational: fresh ingredients, great flavors, and lovingly prepared. The pizza, in particular, was a real highlight! You can tell the passion that goes into the cooking and the work here. The atmosphere was relaxed and inviting – we felt at home from the very first moment. We'll definitely be back. The restaurant is very conveniently located with a subway and bus stop. There are plenty of parking spaces, but due to the number of other shops, the free parking spaces are usually full, so you have to use the paid parking garage. The two of us were there later in the afternoon without a reservation and were lucky that a table just became available. The table was immediately cleared and re-set. The service was very friendly and worked professionally. Minor changes can be taken into account when ordering. The menu is extensive and also accommodates vegetarians and vegans. The food we ordered was served promptly and was delicious. However, there are no visual stimuli or decorations when eating. The ambience is very appealing, but it is very loud. The prices are rather high but correspond to the local conditions. Payment can be made in cash, with an EC card and via QR-CODE using a credit card. Good regulation. We felt comfortable and will definitely come back

I ordered priority via Uber Eats - it was advertised as a maximum of 30 minutes, but I ended up waiting over an hour. Of course, there can be delays from time to time, and I generally understand that. What I can't understand, however, is that the pizza arrived cold, even though I only live five minutes by car from L'Osteria. It looks as if it had been sitting somewhere for a long time or had not been handled properly during transport. Very disappointing.

Large portions of pizza and pasta, the only criticism I would give is the bruscetta because the bread wasn't roasted in garlic butter or something. Otherwise top price-performance ratio in the area.

Terrible management. They cancel orders at the last minute after making you wait for an hour. And when they do fulfill the order, it's cold. I don't know why they accept online order delivery in the first place.

I wanted to reserve a special table for my birthday, which was promised to me by the local boss. Unfortunately the staff of the day were not interested and simply gave this table to someone else. This meant that I had to sit around the store with the entire team of birthday guests. Never again! Worst service ever!

Unfortunately there was no meal, I came at lunchtime and waited at the entrance after me a larger group came and was asked to sit at the table and I was ignored. Stood there for another 3 minutes without paying attention to the staff. Then I turned to the waitress and sat down at a free table. Sat there for 15 minutes without being served and then left. Therefore I can't rate the food. The service was very uncoordinated and not very attentive hence only 1 star. What I noticed, however, was that it was very loud.

The pizza was, untypically for the chain, very light and therefore tasted very much like raw dough. When we asked, we were told that the staff would rather not let the guest's table come any darker. Why remains a mystery.

Food excellent, pizza huge and tasty 5 stars. However, star deduction for service because we had to wait about 30 minutes until someone asked us if we wanted something to drink and then another 15 minutes until it was brought to us. But we'll be back because it tastes very, very tasty.

I recently visited L’Osteria and overall, the food was really good. The pizza was definitely the highlight ,big, flavorful, and well-balanced. I also tried the carbonara, which I personally enjoyed in terms of taste, but I wouldn’t call it authentic. It felt more like a tasty interpretation rather than a traditional version. Still, a solid dining experience and worth a visit if you’re in the mood for Italian-inspired dishes!

Terrible, the food is black carpet and the service together. I do not recommend it to anyone. One of my worst experiences in a restaurant.

Were sent away at 9:30 p.m. on Easter Sunday, supposedly the kitchen was already closed. There were lots of guests eating. It's just a shame, we don't come here anymore.

If pizza were depression. I really wish I was exaggerating. It took 10 minutes to get a waiter to pay attention to me and that was just to place my order. Well, that can happen when there's a lot going on. Then I watched as two other tables who arrived after me got their food before me - and yes, the waiters noticed that too, whispered something to each other and what happened then promptly: she comes flying in. When she finally arrived, over 30 minutes late, she was cold. I let the waiters know and you'd think after keeping me waiting so long they'd at least make a new one. No - they warmed up the same sorry excuse for a pizza and brought it back with the slice I had cut out. And after all that? The pizza tasted exactly like the service felt: lazy, sloppy and completely disappointing. The crust was tough on the outside and sticky on the inside, the cheese was fine, but the tomato sauce was watery, and the whole thing screamed "I don't feel like being here." Honestly, the chef should be ashamed for serving something like that. If you call this Italian cuisine, you should rethink your entire relationship with food. That wasn't Italian. That was an insult to Italians.

- beers are not filled to the mark by 1cm( giving less than what you are paying for) - cutlery and table matt slapped on table by waiter - male waiter did not check once if everything was ok - really poor service - no please / thank you / your welcome/ enjoy your meal/ drink - just bang all on table and walk off - the Hamburg locations their staff are beyond nice and here in this branch it’s like they are doing you a favor being served

Unfortunately, the pizza is often wobbly - depending on which pizza man is at the oven. Very noisy as many families go there with their children. A relaxed meal looks different!
