Our visit had mixed impressions: the table was sticky and some of the cutlery wasn't entirely clean, which didn't create a pleasant atmosphere. Unfortunately, the food was lukewarm and rather mediocre overall. The service was attentive, but it could definitely be better.
We've eaten here a few times, and the food was okay. The last time we were there, the service was very unfriendly. We got a table outside, and when we only ordered drinks, everything was fine. A few minutes later, another waiter came and told us that the tables were only for people ordering food. He gave us half an hour to get our drinks and leave. When we arrived, we weren't told about these rules, and most of the tables were empty anyway. Very unfriendly, very unpleasant experience. I've never seen anything like it in my life!
After a lovely walk around the Bachtelweiher pond, we stopped at the café. We enjoyed delicious cake and coffee. Very cozy, not too big. The staff were very friendly... I'd gladly come again on my next walk...
A very popular, busy restaurant in Laim.
The service was very friendly and the atmosphere pleasant.
The calamari looked delicious.
However, I ordered the pita with salmon and was a little disappointed that the fish was quite dry and the pita bread was grilled a bit too hard.
But I still had a nice time there.
Some of the staff are nice, some are not so nice.
And I usually get cold food, which isn't great.
Or the wrong food, since many don't understand German, which isn't really a big deal.
The place is just to overrated!
The smell of the meat was the same as refrigerator.
When you are ordering from the corner alone, you have just a number, and you must to watch the whole time if some food is there and to realize if this is yours or not ( no special codes when your order is ready and you have some call on this small items ), they are just calling you to come without knowing what did you ordered.
The burgers are small, and dry.
The food was okay, but we waited almost an hour for it. The Greek salad had mushy tomatoes, was far too oily, and had way too much cabbage. Also, I'm always bothered by the musicians here who impose themselves with their bad music just to get money.
The service, however, is excellent. Fast, friendly, and respectful.
Absolutely delicious, the best doner kebab in the area. The meat is tender and fresh, as are the various sauces and vegetable selections. The service is also very friendly, except for one employee who was rude to me in front of my family and gave me my change so aggressively that I almost felt sick, and I'm not exaggerating. I would have given zero stars for the service if I could, but unfortunately that's not possible. The other employees seemed very nice and professional. I would ask the owner to check what's going on behind the scenes with that blond "guy" with blue eyes. I've heard I'm not the only one who feels offended by him. Otherwise, it's a really good doner shop, even the best in the area.
