Taverne Lithos in München

We had our Christmas party there and once again enjoyed a very delicious meal with friendly and good service.

It is simply great! No matter how often Maps is asking me about it.

Apart from the strong-smelling lilies, a great place, I have nothing but praise.

Holyyyyy... Place was amazingggg, nice and quite with some chill music that i can talk over.... Would recomend, loved their stake and theit BAKLAVA desert... Always will refomend Spent 88€ together for 2 meals and 4 drinks... I would say that considering that I am in Getmany... The prices are fair.

A short stay in Munich... We decided to look for a Greek restaurant near our hotel. Then we came across Taverna Lithos. It was all very nice... small but perfectly formed, not typically Greek, but still clean, so it was just right for us. The service was seamless, and we were very satisfied with everything. The food was also excellent, and the prices were perfectly reasonable for Munich. The only thing I missed was a combination plate of gyros, souvlaki, and bifteki. But no matter... everything was great... I'm giving it 4 stars. Thank you!

This place is great for gatherings, food is great and the beer is even better. We had a good time we'll spent with Mr. illian who was very Friendly.

The Gyros Metaxa and Gyros Special were a bit too soupy for my taste. You need a spoon to eat them. Both dishes cost around €18.

Without a doubt the best Greek restaurant in Munich. We felt at home with excellent service from Roxana, Ilias, Mari and Anthanassios. If you go to Munich it is essential to go to Lithos Taverne

The food was truly delicious, and the service was engaging and very friendly. You can sit outside and "enjoy" the traffic, including the tram, or in the pleasant dining room. It's not cheap, but it's worth the price. We'll be back 😊

Our favorite Greek restaurant in Munich is just what we like best. We used to live around the corner and ate there regularly. After moving to the outskirts of the city, we're looking for a Greek restaurant there that we enjoy as much as this one. Unfortunately, despite many recommendations and numerous sample meals, we haven't found another Greek restaurant that can compete with this one, so we only come back to our old neighborhood every now and then for dinner. Tastes are always subjective, and this family-run restaurant meets ours 100%, plus the friendly staff. We always enjoy coming here!

The food was more than okay, plus the upscale interior; friendly staff. Unfortunately, the outdoor area is right on the street.

We were passing through here. We got a table without a reservation. Very friendly staff. Absolutely fantastic food. Highly recommended, whether you like fish or meat. We'll definitely remember this restaurant for next time.

First of all, the food is very good. However, I would like to agree with the criticism of the starter platter for two people, which cost a whopping €26.50. For two people, instead of one small piece of halloumi, one tiny piece of feta cheese, one stuffed vine leaf, and one stuffed small pepper, two small pieces would have been appropriate. I'm wondering whether the platter for one person only serves half a stuffed vine leaf. The biggest drawback is that the whole thing comes without bread, even though the spreads should obviously be SPREAD. It's the little things that make a big difference in guest satisfaction. To the service staff: a smile should be served without a surcharge.

The service was very good and friendly; I felt very comfortable. The food was delicious, but I still have to deduct a star. The menu listed spaghetti with vegetables in a light white wine sauce, and since I didn't feel like eating anything greasy, I ordered that dish. The light white wine sauce turned out to be a rich cream and cheese sauce. If the menu is inaccurate, guests should be informed.

We stayed at the appointments above and this place was a blessing. The staff are all very friendly and gave us great recommendations. They also stayed open a little later in the evening to allow us to finish drinks before heading to bed.

So basically me and my girlfriend went here to eat because I used to live like very near and I just wanted something quick and fast and cheap. Unfortunately I didn’t get none of it. I got overpriced suvlaki, dry ass fish and the service was slower than Internet in Benghazi, which says something. The food was decent though overpriced but I swear to God next time somebody’s gonna ask me to pay €20 for dry ass cold ass fish. I’m gonna have a meltdown. I pity the owner for this review, but I blame it on the service because honestly it just sucked. PS I told myself to write this review with each word for 10 seconds of waiting to pay, as you can see the review is quite long never again goodbye.

The food was simply delicious – lots of choice and everything was perfectly prepared. The location is perfect, especially in the evenings with the sun it's a dream to sit outside. Super friendly staff, fast service and an all-round feel-good atmosphere. Definitely coming back!

Preparing a "fried" liver requires a master or at least the ability and knowledge - so that it stays tender! The second requirement is that it also has to be fresh from the butcher in order to turn out THAT well. Here it is masterfully cooked! This also applies to each additional dish. Each for themselves. Every pita bread is freshly baked. The garlic spread is a home recipe that delights in itself! On the salad, the targeted and mixed selection tastes as if it had just been picked and washed and served with a family recipe as a sauce. Patent, perfect and harmoniously rounded menu. The price is completely appropriate for the excellent food... and thanks remain DIRECTLY in the kitchen! ...because "you" only ever say it to the waitress.

Waren heute spontan um ca 14.30 Uhr da Endlich mal ein Restaurant welches um diese Zeit offen hat! Obwohl es sehr gut besucht war haben wir sofort einen Tisch bekommen. Das gesamte Team war schnell, höflich und zuvorkommend! Essen kam schnell und war einfach nur köstlich!! Wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder!!!

Very nice Greek. Always happy to come here. There is the best of both worlds: gyros and mezze 😍 and that as a main course. Or the mussels with tomato sauce. So good! The appetizers are also very tasty and the service is really nice.

The best Greek in Munich! The staff is extremely friendly and we would be happy to come back. I can particularly recommend the Bifteki with sheep's cheese and sheep's cheese sauce - simply sensational!

Anyone who has no respect for old people only gets one star. Actually a nice old restaurant, classic furnishings. We were there after a funeral. The grieving family had made reservations for 20 - 30 people. There were problems with the tables, not enough seats. Stating the number of people would be too imprecise. Well, with an 85-year-old dead person, maybe not everyone comes as planned. The restaurant was about 30% full, so it wouldn't have been a problem to reserve seats for 30 people. First we were served by a gentleman with a beard and a black T-shirt who seemed to be the boss. The thing about respecting older women is probably more classical Greek... The widow of the deceased pretended to be such because of the seats, payment, etc. and then wanted to order. The lady is 85 years old, had just lost her husband and meets Mr. "Machoimportant" who apparently would rather have an "In Lokal" than socialize with older people. Maybe a bad spot next to the main entrance to a cemetery. He was snotty and rude because the woman didn't understand everything straight away. He had the same impatient behavior towards my mother. The food was good average, the portions were decent, the colleagues were courteous. The one star is because I hope the boss reads it and learns to respect old people.

A great Greek tavern with delicious food. I just ate one of the tastiest mussels here… totally creamy white wine sauce with some soup vegetables. Wow! A poem. The Greek yogurt is also exceptionally delicious. Prices are also absolutely reasonable. Very nice service! Absolute recommendation. I'll be back.

A good greek restaurant. The choice was a lot. But the taste of the main dish with the sauce was not for me. Starter was too much cream and yoghurt for my husband as he had stomach problems afterwards. We will come and give it a try again.

Until now, as a regular customer, I had always gotten a small portion of gyros, but today it was no longer possible because it was no longer possible due to the price. Staff very unfriendly today and only after money. A 0.2 liter Merlot €8.50!! That's outrageous. Never again!!

So the food is very tasty, extra requests are well received, super nice service and is absolutely worth the price. I can only recommend it.
