Das Restaurantpersonal war sehr freundlich und aufmerksam. Wir bestellten eine warme Vorspeisenplatte, Oktopussalat, gegrillten Lachs und Lammhaxe. Alles war ausgezeichnet. Die Portionen sind sehr großzügig. Ich würde sagen, es ist das beste griechische Restaurant in München. Sie sollten unbedingt mal vorbeischauen. Die Mitarbeiter im Restaurant waren sehr hilfsbereit und zuvorkommend. Wir bestellten eine warme Vorspeisenplatte, Oktopussalat, gegrillten Lachs und Lammhaxe. Alles war ausgezeichnet. Die Portionen sind sehr großzügig. Ich würde sagen, es ist das beste griechische Restaurant in München. Ich kann Ihnen einen Besuch im Poseidon wärmstens empfehlen. Sie werden es bestimmt lieben.

Einfach einer der besten Griechen in München. Das Essen ist immer super und es gibt auch immer genügend Ouzo dazu.

Das Essen im Restaurant Poseidon war wirklich hervorragend – frisch, geschmackvoll und perfekt zubereitet. Besonders die griechischen Spezialitäten haben uns begeistert. Dazu kommt ein sehr freundlicher und aufmerksamer Service sowie eine angenehme Atmosphäre. Wir haben uns rundum wohlgefühlt und kommen auf jeden Fall wieder. Klare Empfehlung!

Epidauros Platte zu Abend bestellt. Ich hab noch nie so ein gutes Suzuki gegessen. Das Personal war super freundlich. Ouzo vorm Essen und nach dem Essen aufs Haus. Das Salatdressing war saulecker. Dazu frisches selbstgebackenes Brot. Unbedingt zu empfehlen. Von mir 5 von 5 Sternen.

Wir waren vorhin zum ersten mal im Poseidon. Wir haben uns zur Vorspeise die überbackenen Muscheln geteilt und zum Hauptgang hatten wir Gyros mit Metaxasauce und auch mit Käse überbacken. Beides war super lecker und vor allem die Saucen waren der Hammer. Es sind sehr große Portionen zu einem wirklich fairen Preis, wir haben nicht alles geschafft und uns den Rest mitgenommen. Ich kann dieses Restaurant nur empfehlen. Das Personal war auch sehr freundlich.

Das Poseidon in München ist ein wirklich hervorragendes griechisches Restaurant, das in jeder Hinsicht überzeugt. Schon beim Betreten fällt die freundliche und einladende Atmosphäre auf, die sofort für ein angenehmes Gefühl sorgt. Der Service ist aufmerksam, herzlich und schnell, ohne dabei aufdringlich zu wirken. Man fühlt sich direkt gut aufgehoben und willkommen. Das Essen ist durchgehend sehr hochwertig. Die Portionen sind großzügig, perfekt gewürzt und frisch zubereitet. Besonders die Grillgerichte und Vorspeisen sind ein echtes Highlight – geschmacklich authentisch und sehr gut abgestimmt. Man merkt, dass hier mit Erfahrung und Qualität gearbeitet wird. Auch das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis stimmt absolut. Für die gebotene Qualität und Menge ist der Preis mehr als fair. Insgesamt ist das Poseidon ein Restaurant, in das man gerne zurückkommt. Es eignet sich perfekt für einen gemütlichen Abend mit Freunden oder Familie und gehört definitiv zu den besten griechischen Restaurants in München.

Waren gestern hier zum zweiten Mal essen und waren wiederum sehr begeistert! Der Service ist sehr freundlich und aufmerksam. Das Essen ist fantastisch: besonders empfehlenswert: der Mykonos Teller! Die Kalbsleber ist sehr zart und sehr gut gegrillt, die Pommes Frites sind knusprig und innen cremig und der Salat sehr frisch und geschmackvoll. Der Tsasiki ist sehr lecker. Das Ambiente ist wunderschön und urig. Man fühlt sich gleich wohl, wenn man die Gaststätte betritt.

Rustikal eingerichtet, schneller und freundlicher Service, große Auswahl, großzügig in kleinen Dingen- gibt 2 Ouzo aufs Haus und beim Bezahlen noch Joghurt Eis mit Honig, aber für den Wechsel von Reis auf Pommes zahle ich drauf? Das erschließt sich mir nicht

Wir waren im März 2x dort beim Essen, sehr freundlich auch ohne Reservierung, erstmal ein Uzo den ich erst nach dem Essen getrunken habe, danach noch einen Jughurt statt Uzo bekommen. Das Essen war toll und die Knoblauch Soße war nicht zu stark. Wir kommen gerne wieder

Wir sitzen gerade im Poseidon – und ich musste einfach jetzt schon schreiben, weil dieser Moment genau das ist, was man sich von einem richtig guten Restaurant wünscht. Schon beim Reinkommen fühlt man sich willkommen. Nicht dieses aufgesetzte Lächeln, sondern echte Herzlichkeit. Man merkt sofort: Hier wird Gastfreundschaft gelebt.😊 Wir haben mit einer kalten Vorspeise gestartet – frisch, fein abgestimmt und mit Liebe gemacht. Danach der Lammteller und die Lammhaxe: unglaublich zart, voller Geschmack, perfekt gewürzt. Genau so, wie man es sich erhofft – und selten bekommt. Und selbst das Schnitzel mit Pommes, eigentlich etwas ganz Einfaches, war auf den Punkt: knusprig, saftig, ehrlich gut. Was mich wirklich beeindruckt: Es ist nicht nur das Essen. Es ist dieses Gesamtgefühl. Service, Qualität, Atmosphäre – alles greift ineinander. Man sitzt hier, genießt, redet… und merkt gar nicht, wie die Zeit vergeht. Für mich jetzt schon kein „normaler Grieche“, sondern ein Ort, an den man immer wieder zurückkommen möchte.

Wir waren heute wieder im Poseidon – und es war einfach großartig! Die Portionen sind riesig – ich hatte den „Bauern-Teller“ mit bestimmt über 500g Fleisch, alles perfekt gegrillt und unglaublich lecker. Meine Frau hatte Lamm auf griechische Art – es war so zart, dass es im Mund zergeht. Aber was dieses Restaurant wirklich besonders macht, ist die Atmosphäre: freundliche Menschen, herzlicher Service und dieses Gefühl, als wäre man wieder im Urlaub in Griechenland oder sogar bei guten Freunden zu Hause. Wir kommen definitiv wieder – absolut empfehlenswert!

Obwohl die Küche gerade geschlossen wurde, wurden wir herzlich empfangen und es wurden noch Kleinigkeiten zubereitet. 🥰

Ich war dabei, ich spreche Griechisch. Nach kurzem Wortwechsel forderte mich der Kellner verärgert auf zu gehen. Welch eine Unhöflichkeit von einem Griechen!

Der beste Service, den wir seit langem in München hatten. Essen war lecker, gute Portionen. Schönes Ambiente, und im Gegensatz zu anderen Lokalen wurde auch nicht an der Heizung gespart.

Ein kleines Stück Griechenland in München. Ich fühlte mich wie zurück in Athen. Alles war wunderbar und authentisch. Ich hoffe, in Zukunft wiederzukommen.

Ich habe schon einige griechische Lokale in München ausprobiert, aber das ist der Beste! Alles was wir bisher probiert haben war sehr gut, vor allem die Lammhaxe ist ein Gedicht. Zur Begrüßung gibt es einen Ouzo, zur Rechnung griechischen Joghurt mit Honig oder wer den nicht mag nochmal einen Ouzo. Service schnell und zuvorkommend. Toiletten sauber.

Gott sei Dank kein Schickimicki Grieche!! Gutes Essen, netter Service und seit Jahren gute Qualität!! Aufmerksamkeit wird hier groß geschrieben, fühlen uns hier stets wohl und willkommen. Danke dafür!!

Delicious and inexpensive food and top staff!

Wer griechisches Essen liebt, liebt das Poseidon. Große, für den Preis angemessene Portionen, die gegrillte Leber ein Gedicht. Wer großen Hunger hat, fährt hier immer gut. Sehr freundliche Bedienung, hier gehen wir regelmäßig hin, egal ob beim Botanischen Garten oder am Leonrodplatz. Ich war gestern, 23.12., im Poseidon am Leonrodplatz. Dort ist es genauso gut zu essen 😋👍.

Wir waren vor 14 Jahren bei unserem ersten Date hier essen. Wir sind extra dafür nach München zurückgekommen. Über die Website konnten wir nicht reservieren … (wir haben schließlich 2025!!!). Niemand ging ans Telefon. Drinnen hieß es dann, es sei voll. Die Leute hinter uns in der Schlange, die ebenfalls nicht reserviert hatten, bekamen trotzdem einen Tisch. Die Bedienung wusste nicht, dass wir Deutsch sprechen, und hatte eine Ausrede, um die anderen reinzulassen. Es ist wirklich schade, so behandelt zu werden, wenn man sich so darauf freut. Das hat unseren Wochenendausflug total getrübt!

Oktopussalat = ein Glas mit künstlichem eingelegtem Fisch, das über den Teller gekippt wurde, nicht einmal das Industrieöl wurde entfernt. Griechischer Salat = weiße statt roter Zwiebeln, eine Olive, veganer Feta, alles in Essig ertränkt. Er mag zwar dem deutschen Gaumen gefallen, aber das Einzige, was daran griechisch ist, ist die Google-Kategorie.

Ziemlich gutes Essen und sehr schönes, aber schlichtes Ambiente. Die Mitarbeiter sind nicht sehr begeistert, aber auch nicht unzufrieden. Es scheint alles eher kurzzeitig freundlich und direkt. Vielen Dank, komme immer gerne wieder.

The best Greek restaurant I have ever visited. Greated by a friendly face, the owner brings about uzo to start the night. The food is traditional and on point, everything they brought to the table, mousaka, salads perfectly seasoned, grilled sardines, taramas, roasted lamb with many variations and the list goes on. Sorry no pics, too busy eating 😜. The meal was finished by another uzo on the house. Just perfect.

For meat lovers, this restaurant is simply fantastic. The meat is incredibly delicious, the seafood is superbly prepared, and the portions are enormous. Honestly, I've never tasted such flavorful meat. Highly recommended!

Very good Greek restaurant, family atmosphere, excellent value for money

We had calamari salad as a starter and grilled calamari as a main course. It was very good. The staff was very friendly. Everyone wished us bon appétit. We just wished there had been a little more time between the starter and the main course. We hadn't even finished our starter when the main course arrived. But otherwise, everything was great. We'll definitely be back. Thank you!

A simple but nicely furnished Greek restaurant right on the main street. We stopped here before going to an ice hockey game. (We're from a completely different part of Munich.) The service was friendly and always available if we wanted to order anything else. The food was good, nothing special, but definitely tasty. I can recommend it.

The price-performance ratio is perfect, the waiters were very attentive but not intrusive. The food was absolutely delicious, I would definitely go back and recommend it to everyone.

Delicious Greek specialties. Large portions at moderate prices, even at lunchtime on weekdays. Parking is difficult, though. Outdoor seating is available in summer, but it's located on a busy main road.

I've been there four times already and would love to come back. The service is very fast and accommodating; if you come during off-peak hours, they take their time, and you sometimes even get a free appetizer. Everyone has enjoyed the food so far, and the quality is impeccable. The portions are very generous and, by Munich standards, reasonably priced.

I ordered gyro calamari to go and was unfortunately quite disappointed. The dish only contained four very small and rather unloved-looking calamari rings (looked like they were frozen), and the gyro itself was unfortunately very dry. For the price, I honestly expected better quality.

It's almost always quite busy, but the extremely attentive chef always finds a spot. The food is delicious, but usually way too much. The service is alert and professional. No rush, no fuss, no fuss—everything seems effortless. The staff is friendly, quick, and yet discreet. We look forward to the next time!

I can’t believe how incredible our night was here! We came as a small group to celebrate a birthday, and we were able to try a variety of amazing dishes. First off, the food was absolutely fantastic, and the portions were more than generous. We ordered a mix of warm and cold mezze plates, as well as a meat platter for two, and everything was full of flavor. But what really made this place unforgettable was our outstanding waiter. He had such a warm, welcoming personality and truly made our experience special. Not only did he surprise us with complimentary ouzo shots, but he also took such great care of us throughout the evening. We all felt completely at home the entire night. We can't thank him enough for making our celebration so memorable! Also thanks for the greek wine ❤️

Poseidon leonrod is the PLACE TO BE! Invest your money in super food and not savings by Sparkasse! We are two friends, 44 years old / young, had an incredible dinner with wine on 25.03.2025. I had dorado fish von Grill with vegetables and he had a gorgeous huge musaka. We came from the food (wir sind vom Food beide beim Tisch gekommen). Incredible service by the waiters, they are fast, notice many things and place people in the right places. music is not loud and the light is not too dark or too bright, optimal. In case you order too much or can't eat all, the waiter offers to pack your food and take with you. Very nice positive active waiter, young man, light brown hair Poseidon leonrod is the PLACE TO BE! Invest your money in super food and not savings by Sparkasse!

For many years, the Poseidon on Leonrodstrasse in Munich has not only been by far the best Greek restaurant in Munich, but this restaurant is in a league of its own. The finest food is prepared here in an incredible way. If you want to enjoy fantastic Greek food, then this is the place for you. Gyros were delicious! Friendly staff, enough distance from the other tables and not like in a herring can! First there were ouzos and garlic bread - very attentive! You don't necessarily have to make a reservation for Mondays at 6 p.m. ;)
