Very friendly and attentive staff, the food is lovingly prepared and flavorful. A feast for the eyes and the stomach. The meat was juicy and tender, the salad was colorful with a good dressing, and the vegetables were grilled to perfection. The restaurant is very cozy, Greek-style, with a comfortable size and not too cramped.

We only ended up here by chance because the restaurant we wanted to go to was already fully booked. This turned out to be a lucky coincidence because we have eaten at Opson several times now. Very tasty food with well-arranged side dishes, far from the cliche gyros with fries and salad.

Nice service and atmosphere. Although there are no vegan options marked in menu, some appetizers and side dishes are vegan. E.g. I had pita bread with Fava and grilled vegetables. It was delicious!

If you are gluten intolerant, please don't go! He told us it was gluten-free, but then he realized it had breadcrumbs in it.

The food was actually very good, albeit a bit small for the price. However, after repeatedly asking, we were told that the dish we ordered was gluten-free (one person in our group has celiac disease), although nothing was stated on the menu... Unfortunately, the rest of the evening was not very pleasant... When we asked for more detailed allergen information, we received only a cursory "yes."

What a really nice place in the Westend! Almost inconspicuous from the outside, but truly delicious food, vegetables like I haven't tasted in Germany in a long time, and moderate prices. We had a great mango caipirinha and a Negroni. Both well-mixed and strong. We ate the varied appetizer plate and the whole sea bream. Cool staff, we sat comfortably outside in the beer garden, with little traffic. Very cozy in this warm summer. It looks just as cozy inside.

The restaurant was freezing cold (they're probably saving on heating costs) and the staff was unfriendly, making us feel uncomfortable. At least the food was okay. The overall impression was poor, though, so we won't be coming back.

The food was very tasty and a lot. Very authentic Greek cuisine far from the standard "snack bar" Greeks.

We were there a few times. The food is actually very, very good. The prices are slightly higher compared to other Greek restaurants in Munich (and we know some!!!!!!). The ambience is okay, but you should concentrate on Greek music. A noble Greek, as described, is not. Staff nice, but not highly motivated. We always order a very good bottle of wine, but always have to refill it ourselves. We received the bill several times, very carelessly. An ouzo with the bill or at the end of the purchase, for less than 50 cents, would be a nice gesture. I don't know of any Greek restaurant that doesn't do that. Maybe the whole team should go to another Greek restaurant in Munich (can recommend a few)….

Food was very yummy! But the prices are high and I was expecting my uzo at the end, but we didn’t get anything. So, for me it’s not a classic greek restaurant.

for me one of the best Greek restaurants in Munich, not found better until now. The menu on the website seems relatively classic but there are also daily specials on a slate and the dishes are really very well cooked and presented, a very good and authentic address. We will come back!

Good Greek restaurant beyond the dishes named with three-digit numbers. Yes, there are the classic meat dishes that come with good, not overcooked side dishes and also some vegetarian options for main courses and even more for starters. Fast and friendly service. In summer you can sit outside on the not too busy street.

I ate the warm starter platter (vegetarian as desired) and it was really delicious, delicious and varied. Nice service and there was even great live music.

Sehr zu empfehlen! Kleines, aber sehr feines griechisches Restaurant. Mal ohne die eingedeutschten Gerichte, sondern griechisch. Die warme Vorspeisenplatte lässt keine Wünsche offen. Alle Hauptgerichte waren fein abgeschmeckt und hervorragend angerichtet. Als Nachspeisen hatten wir Schokokuchen mit Pistazien Eis und griechischen Joghurt mit Früchten. Sehr lecker. Nette Bedienung und faire Preise!

Very, very friendly and the seafood platter was better than the one I had in Greece!! The calamari flavor was incredible and all the food was soft in texture and expertly prepared. High energy and very nice people (the owner, employees and customers). I went there for a birthday dinner, but it's a cozy and comfortable restaurant that would be great to go to every day as well. Got the wrong food, drinks are sometimes wrong on the menu, limp chips, tzatziki doesn't taste like tzatziki, dishes were canceled. The interior design itself was very nice, but party music was playing, which didn't fit at all.

Hier ist mit Manipulationen seitens des Eigentümers zu rechnen, insbesondere wenn man schon viele Jahre Kunde ist. Ich bewerte nicht oft, aber nach so vielen beleidigenden Kommentaren gegen mich musste ich es leider tun. Erstens: Seien Sie zunächst vorsichtig, wenn Sie mit Bankkarte bezahlen möchten. Hier beginnen die Kommentare seitens des Eigentümers, dass ich ihm als Kunde schade und seinem Unternehmen finanziellen Schaden zufüge. Zweitens und noch besser: Auch wenn du möglicherweise ein oder zwei Wochen vorher einen Tisch reserviert hast und einen Tag vorher eine telefonische Bestätigung (durch deinen Anruf) erhalten hast, wird beim Betreten des Restaurants behauptet, dass Sie nicht zu den Reservierungen gehören. Oder wenn Sie also im Laden ankommen und niemand Sie begrüßt hat, um Sie zu fragen, ob sie eine Reservierung haben, und Sie den Fehler machen, als Kunde zu fragen, wo mein Tisch ist, werden Sie vom Besitzer verbal angegriffen, dass es nicht Ihre Aufgabe sei, das Personal nachzufragen aus dem Grund, weil du Stress erzeugst. Viel Spaß..

We were there several times but when you spend so much money you should feel welcome but we had to question everything (bill etc.) Very ignorant and you can see that all the employees are happy that the end of the working day is approaching. It's a real shame for us that we didn't become local Greeks. One would wish for more friendliness and welcoming culture for guests who have often eaten there. Sorry! But that's to be expected with these exorbitant prices and not canteen standard. We'll look elsewhere. Thank you

Hier wird auf die Qualität geachtet und die ist wirklich hervorragend. Keine Partymusik und keine frech-nervigen Kellner, wie es in München leider immer öfter vorkommt in griechischen Restaurants. Selbst „einfache“ Gerichte wie Calamari oder Souvlaki schmecken wunderbar. Die Kellner und der Chef sind sehr freundlich und überhaupt nicht aufdringlich oder nervig. Ich komme immer wieder gerne

Wir hatten Stifado, also Hasenbraten und ein Steak iberico beides war genial, zuerst hatten wir einen nicht so guten Sitzplatz, die Bedienung war sehr aufmerksam und hat uns dann von sich aus angeboten, als es ruhiger wurde, dass wir uns umsetzen können, sehr toll unser aufmerksam. Einzig die Beilagen waren übersichtlich, wir haben dann noch ein paar Rosmarinkartoffeln nachbestellt, das würde ich von vornherein bedenken beim nächsten Mal

Das war leider nix: Fisch vom Grill fast roh, Vorspeise in Mayo ertränkt. Auch der Wein sehr durchschnittlich. Schade.

Sehr leckeres griechisches Essen, mit hoher Qualität schnell auf dem Tisch. Serviert von einer einmalig, freundlichen, klassisch griechischen wirkenden, aber aus Lettland stammenden Bedienung. Hier macht Essen Spaß. Empfehlung

Νοστιμότατο ελληνικό φαγητό με καταπληκτική ατμόσφαιρα σε ένα μαγαζί με γεύσεις Ελλάδας στη καρδιά του Μονάχου.

Ottima esperienza: cucina curata, materie prime di qualità, abbinamenti interessanti. Abbiamo preso una selezione di antipasti freddi e una moussaka: porzioni assolutamente soddisfacenti e prezzi adeguati. Un po' troppo cara l'acqua, ma siamo a Monaco... da segnalare il servizio caloroso e gentile, soprattutto la giovane cameriera che ci ha seguito, simpatica e professionale. Consigliato!

I visit Munich often and have eaten at the Opson 3 times. I usually have the Moussaka and each time the dish was consistently prepared as well as consistently delicious. The food quality was excellent and quantity very substantial. Other dishes, like the souvlaki, looked equally yummy. If I have a craving for Greek food, I don't hesitate to head over to Olson. You should try them out - you won't regret it.

Essen ist geschmacklich und qualitativ wirklich sehr gut. Allerdings stimmt das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis nicht. Für mehr als 20€ pro Gyrosteller erwarte ich satt zu werden. Leider bin ich das nicht... Schade. Ambiente ist sehr angenehm.

Wir waren gestern im Restaurant Opson zum Abendessen. Die Preise fanden wir unverständlich hoch, für die verhältnismäßig kleinen Portionen (Souvlaki 20,50€) Wir waren zu viert und keiner ist satt geworden. Die Qualität der Speisen war gut. Allerdings findet man woanders auch gute Qualität mit stimmigerem Preis Leistungsverhältnis. Es gab keinen Salat, keinen Ouzo und nur sehr wenig Beilagen zum Fleisch/Fisch. Den Service empfanden wir als unaufmerksam. Nachdem wir das Essen bekamen, war es schwierig nochmal eine/n Kellner:in zu erwischen und noch was zu trinken zu bestellen. Wir haben es dann auch gelassen. Wir wollten getrennt zahlen und die Kellnerin hat den Betrag der Rechnung nur widerwillig, murrend auf unseren Tisch aufgeteilt. Das ist aber nun mal Standard in Deutschland und man kann nicht erwarten, dass einer alles zahlen will. Das gehört für mich zum guten Service dazu.

Essen ist gut, der Service hervorragend. Griechisch Essen gehen ist meistens etwas kostspieliger, dieses Restaurant ist aber eher etwas teurer als vergleichbare Angebote. Opson ist kein Spartipp, aber man fühlt sich dort sehr wohl.
