Nice outdoor area, good service, delicious burgers and Kässpatzen, prices okay

First of all: super friendly, attentive service (Angela). Unfortunately, the food was very inconsistent. While the onion roast beef was very tasty and perfectly cooked, the schnitzel was, in my opinion, frozen and deep-fried, which was a shame. Overall, it was rather expensive.

Lovely, family-friendly restaurant with mini golf, excellent service, and above all, delicious food. The rump steak was just right, and the cabbage fritters were delicious. We'd love to come back.

The ambiance is inviting, and when the weather's nice, you can linger in the beer garden. Unfortunately, I can't rate the rest of the experience due to the lackluster service. If you don't feel like serving customers, the wait staff prefers to have a pleasant chat at the bar, leisurely clear a table, and wait until the annoying guests leave on their own after 15 minutes. We didn't receive anything other than a menu to look at, even though the dining room was empty except for two small tables.

A nice place to while away the summer hours playing mini golf. A small menu with standard dishes like burgers, currywurst, and baked potatoes. Fast service.

Not recommended, terrible service. We were there with four people, ate, drank, and played mini golf. In the end, we didn't get two more ice creams because they weren't enough for card payments; we were told to just buy more ice cream.

Friendly, young staff. Disappointing food. Lots of ready-made products that you could heat up or make yourself at home. For this price range, you'd expect freshly cooked food. Appetizingly presented and edible, but not a place for us to eat out.

The beer garden is fantastic, with a great view of the lake and, above all, a fantastic playground, which is, of course, worth its weight in gold for families with children. You're happy to pay for the location and the ambiance...

Be sure to stop by and enjoy it if you're driving up or down the A7 near Kempten and need a rest and/or to entertain your dog or kids. The Obszda is fantastic.

A very nice restaurant with miniature golf and a good menu for those with a light appetite. A lovely walk around the lake. We happened to be passing through there and had a lovely meal.

I'm very pleased with our chance discovery on the way to the Allgäu. We'd love to come back if we get the chance. The pretzel dumplings with creamed mushrooms were absolutely excellent. A little rosemary on top makes for something different. The location is quiet at the end of a cul-de-sac. You can let the kids play in the garden/playground/mini golf without worry. All in all, a successful mix of beer garden and day-trip restaurant.

There was plenty of space outside, but the folding tables were a bit uncomfortable for a restaurant. Nevertheless, thanks to the prompt and pleasant service, we felt at home. The only disappointment was the roast beef with onions, which, although beautifully presented, was of stringy quality.

I don't see the point in paying parking fees just to go out to eat. The mini golf courses are in a desolate state, and I certainly won't be coming back.

On June 28th at 12:30 p.m., we celebrated our son's birthday at this restaurant. We were greeted by an extremely rude and unfriendly waitress—an elderly lady who seemed to have a problem with people of immigrant backgrounds. I say this because she was always friendly and smiling when serving German guests, but as soon as she approached us, she was rude and dismissive. Something similar happened to us a month ago when we were there for dinner with friends. Then, too, she yelled at one of our children in an indescribably disrespectful manner. For me, today was completely ruined. I just wanted to leave, but unfortunately, I couldn't. Our bill came to €192, but my mental well-being—which has no price—was deeply hurt today. Needless to say, I didn't leave a tip. This day was one of the worst I've ever experienced. I felt like I was being bombarded with disrespect from all sides – without knowing why. We will never enter that restaurant again. I will not endanger my mental health again just because of a racist and rude waitress.

Am 28. Juni um 12:30 Uhr feierten wir die Geburtstagsfeier unseres Sohnes in diesem Restaurant. Wir wurden von einer äußerst unhöflichen und nicht freundlichen Kellnerin empfangen – einer älteren Dame, die offenbar ein Problem mit Menschen mit Migrationshintergrund zu haben scheint. Ich sage das, weil sie immer freundlich und lächelnd war, wenn sie deutsche Gäste bediente, aber sobald sie zu uns kam, war sie grob und abweisend. Etwas Ähnliches ist uns schon vor einem Monat passiert, als wir mit Freunden zum Essen dort waren. Auch damals hat sie eines unserer Kinder auf eine unbeschreiblich respektlose Weise angeschrien. Für mich war der heutige Tag völlig ruiniert. Ich wollte nur noch gehen, konnte aber leider nicht. Unsere Rechnung betrug 192 €, aber mein seelisches Wohlbefinden das keinen Preis hat ,wurde heute zutiefst verletzt. Selbstverständlich habe ich kein Trinkgeld hinterlassen. Dieser Tag war einer der schlimmsten, die ich je erlebt habe. Ich fühlte mich, als ob ich von allen Seiten mit Respektlosigkeit „beschossen“ werde ohne zu wissen, warum. Wir werden dieses Lokal nie wieder betreten. Ich werde meine psychische Gesundheit nicht noch einmal gefährden, nur wegen einer rassistischen und unverschämten Kellnerin.

We've been coming here to play minigolf quite often over the past few years. Unfortunately, the courses have become so outdated that it's almost impossible to play properly. They should consider renovating them. It's a real shame, because otherwise, it's so beautiful there.

We came here for coffee and cake and a meal after our civil wedding. The arrangements were relaxed and uncomplicated, the service was super friendly and helpful, and the food and drinks were delicious. There's also plenty on offer for the kids. So, full marks from me. Thank you so much for everything. I definitely recommend it.

Wir wollten um 21.15 Uhr noch was trinken und wurden unfreundlich abgewiesen, vor ein paar Tagen wurde uns um 19.00 Uhr gesagt, dass erst in der Küche nachgefragt werden muß, ob wir noch etwas bestellen dürfen.

Ate the vegetarian burger and schnitzel in the beer garden here today. Both were very tasty and plentiful. We were served very nicely and friendly by Angela. The children loved the playground and the animals. A relaxing afternoon for mom, grandma and grandpa! Many thanks again to Angela for the fast and friendly service!

The Bachtelweiher Garden is a nice destination. You can walk around the pond, play mini golf, pet animals and even eat. There is a large sand play area for children. The beer garden is in a nice location, there is an outdoor and indoor area. The waitresses are generally on point and the food is decent, although nothing special and a little expensive.

Very good food with fair prices, certainly even nicer during the beer garden season, we had lunch on a rainy day. Staff was very friendly and attentive. Parking spaces are chargeable or a small part below is free.

Yes, this gem is an insider tip, an idyll with charm, dog and child friendly, delicious food, great beer and more. The area is designed like a large garden. A mini golf course invites you to play. A lovely employee takes over the distribution of bats and balls. Children are playing around in a playground. There is a mini pony to see. Further up there are deckchairs available for relaxation. At Easter, attractive holiday tables were set up inside. Everyone finds their place here. You can even purchase a coffee to take with you to the pond in a deposit cup. We found all the employees to be very friendly, uncomplicated and fond of children. Dogs are also welcome. We would like to thank an employee who looked after us for two days. Coming back is a must for us.

Pretty unfriendly, annoyed lady at the bar. We asked for a table, even twice, and were just left standing in the room. Although two tables were free and there wasn't much going on outside. Then we left again.

We were there for a stopover on our holiday trip on the A7. From exit 135 it is only 3-4 minutes to the restaurant. The service was extremely friendly, the food was delicious and came super quickly (optimal if you're in transit). We were very satisfied.

Small restaurant with a beer garden and mini golf. On Sundays and public holidays there is only warm food until 6.30 p.m. On the other days until 7.30 p.m. Where is that? It doesn't work at all!!! Never again!

Hello, we were a birthday party, the restaurant itself looks beautiful and well decorated. The service staff is a catastrophe, we weren't even asked what we wanted to drink, we always had to go to the counter ourselves, only then a waitress came, then half of it was forgotten again and the price/performance ratio is simply not right at all. It is very expensive a piece (frozen cake €4.90). The food was good but the schnitzels were also tk and for these prices everything was simply not justified. Won't come again.

Worth a recommendation👍🏼 The food and drinks are actually very good. There are little things that could be improved. We had the Allgäuer Käsespätzle and the Beachtel Bean Burger. The cheese spaetzle has a great price-performance ratio👍🏼 Portions are pleasantly large. When it comes to the side dish, the salad could be cut a little more bite-sized. The burger is a bit dry and there should be a little more ketchup (20g/ml) and mayo (17g/ml) for the fries. The price-performance ratio should be reconsidered. Because each reorder of ketchup and mayo costs €0.40 each. Great ambience, mini golf course right next door and the Bachtelweier is in sight. There are also rabbits and a few chickens. Simply great!👍🏼 The staff is always friendly, that's how it should be.

The food arrives after a normal waiting time despite being busy.👍 I can recommend the Käsespätzle, as the price and performance are right. Tip top 😄 Two stars less for food: Unfortunately, for the Bachtel Bean Burger, which costs just under 20 euros, you only get a burger that is far too dry for my taste🥴. In principle it tastes very fine👍. I still got much juicier food elsewhere🧐. The second star suit is available for “sachets of ketchup/mayo” each 1x 17ml. That's not enough and an extra 40 cents per bag is charged for repeat orders🤑🤑🤑. When it comes to burgers with fries and to avoid plastic waste 🚛, the bottles belong on the table! I would have expected it given the higher price segment. There are many play options for kids, such as a trampoline, a huge sandpit and other play equipment. There are also outdoor enclosures with ponies, chickens and cute fluffy rabbits. You can enjoy the digestive walk around the Bachtelweiher. Duration: comfortable 30-40 minutes with fantastic views. If the temperatures allow it, you can take part in public. You can take a refreshing swim on the lawn. As an overall grade I give it 4 out of 5 stars. Apart from the burger and the ketchup/mayo, everything was good and I had a pleasant time there.

I felt really comfortable. The burger and sweet potato fries were very good, only the dressing on the asparagus salad was too vinegary and 1/5 of the plate was full of it. I'll be back.

Very nice playground, idyllic location and good mini golf course. However, the restaurant is completely overpriced!! The cappuccino costs 4.5 euros, comes from a run-of-the-mill fully automatic machine and doesn't even taste good. The price would still be acceptable for specialty coffee from a trained barista from a portafilter machine in a hip big city (although that's questionable), but we're in an economy here in the Kempten outback, that's cheeky! Unfortunately the apple cake didn't taste good at all, it was dry, apples were hard and had no taste. Also super slow, albeit friendly, service. The parking lot has recently become subject to charges, which will certainly not help attract more visitors. The operator needs to know...

Huge mess with the new parking lot - the hiking parking lot is now constantly occupied because the visitors don't want to pay anything. Now you are forced to walk two laps around the lake and still have to pay parking fees. As a tenant who receives his visitors, you have to pay attention to where your guests park. IT'S AGAIN AT THE EXPENSE OF THOSE WHO JUST WANT TO GET OUT THE AIR. Don't want to know who else is making money? Think about what you're doing there! Dear guests, please stand in the paid parking lot, it's only fair to the hikers. You want to get in there too, if you don't tip, your parking space is also paid. Unfortunately, I can't quite share all of the top recommendations. So if I order a salad plate with turkey and actually get mostly salads (potato salad, coleslaw, carrot) without any dressing, 18.50 is quite a lot. There were only 4 fresh lettuce leaves on top, the rest was of very poor quality. What I also don't understand is why a Viennese style schnitzel has to come out of the deep fryer? Likewise, why isn't it breaded itself? OK everything for a reasonable price, but not for what is asked! Sorry, but I was completely disappointed.

Beautifully located on a lake with a great mini golf course and a small zoo. Unfortunately, the facility is not completely maintained/open in winter.

We discovered this idyllic restaurant by chance while passing through and now always stop here whenever we are in the area again. The option to reserve a table online (which is often necessary) is great. The food is very good (tasty burgers and sweet potato fries!) and the service is friendly. We'll be back 😊

Idyllisch an einem kleinen See und am Stadtrand von Kempten gelegen wird man in den in natürlichem Holz gehaltenen Räumen herzlich begrüßt und sehr zuvorkommend bedient. Die kleine Karte bietet drei verschiedene Burger (auch veggie) und einige Klassiker wie Zwiebelrostbraten oder Schnitzel. Wir haben alle drei Burger und den Zwiebelrost probiert und waren zu 100 % überzeugt. Super zubereitet und total lecker. Auch das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis stimmt hier! Uneingeschränkte Weiterempfehlung

Wir haben auf unserem Weg nach Füssen im Bachtelweiher Garten eine Pause gemacht. Sehr idyllisch gelegen. Schöner Weiher, toller Spielplatz, diverse Tiere. Wir haben lecker gegessen und wurden nett bedient. Die Kinder spielten Minigolf und fanden es toll.

Super leckeres Essen zu einem fairem Preis. Bestellen dort auch oft zum Mitnehmen. Dort seit kurzem Recup Behältnisse und kein Einwegmaterial für Mitnahmeessen mehr, was wir echt super finden. Der Service ist klasse, sowohl vor Ort als auch beim Bestellen.

Immer wieder gerne. Die Kinder können sich austoben (viele Spielmöglichkeiten), man hat sie im Blickfeld und kann, vor allem bei schönem Wetter, sich entspannen.

Ich habe an einem Montag eine E-Mail an das Restaurant geschrieben, weil wir am Donnerstag zu 25igst kommen wollten. Trotz Ruhetag meldete sich gleich am Dienstag jemand bei mir um zu bestätigen, dass wir am Donnerstag kommen können, trotz der so kurzfristigen Anfrage. Wir sind hin gelaufen und haben uns dabei ein wenig verlaufen, weshalb wir zehn Minuten zu spät kamen. Das war für das Restaurant kein Problem. Wir fanden uns in der liebevoll eingerichteten Gaststube auf unseren reservierten Plätzen ein und wurden sofort freundlich bedient. Nach zehn Minuten hatten alle Ihre Getränke. Nicht viel später dann auch ihr Essen. Geschmeckt hat es sehr gut, alle waren zufrieden und auch die Vegetarier in unserer Gruppe fanden schnell etwas leckeres auf der Karte. Das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis war sehr gut. Vielen Dank für die schnelle Orangisation und die nette, gute Betreuung. Ich kann das Restaurant nur jedem empfehlen, auch als Gruppe.

Der Biergarten ist eine Empfehlung wert. Das Essen ist wirklich sehr lecker und die Bedienungen super nett. Das Essen kam ohne lange Wartezeit. Die Location ist sehr naturbelassen. Für kleine Kinder gibt es z.B. ein Trampolin und sehr viel Platz um zu spielen. Preis-/Leistungsverhältnis ist gut.

So gut! Wir haben heute unseren Sohn getauft und seinen 1. Geburtstag gefeiert! Das Essen war sensationell und der Service einwandfrei! Danke nochmal für alles! Wir waren mit den Kindern in unserer Urlaubswoche zweimal im Restaurant Bachtelweiher Garten zum Essen - weil`s dort klasse war! Ich hatte als Tagesgericht mittwochs den Krustenbraten mit Kartoffelwürfeln und Krautsalat - sehr lecker! Am Freitag Abend gab`s für mich den Zwiebelrostbraten und meine Frau hatte das Schweine-Filet. Die Speisen waren super lecker! Das Ambiente ist klasse und der Service war spitze! Man hat sich noch nie bei mir als Gast bedankt daß ich freundlich und nett zum Service war! Das war eine sehr nette Geste und habe mich sehr darüber gefreut!

Das essen kann ich nicht beurteilen,da wir nur getrunken haben. Die speisen sahen aber lecker aus. Ein Minigolf am Platz,der See zum spazieren gehen und der tolle Biergarten. Gerne wieder,dann möchte ich auch was essen😄
