My personal favorite pub. Nice place. Enjoy your meal. Fresh beer. Super Service. (edit 2022: finally we can go there again! The live music is at its best, the service is still unbeatable and the food is typically excellent in a pub!) Update December 2022: still unbeatable! Update March 2023: still 😀 Update March 2024: We haven't been there for far too long! Music, food, Guinness. Happy!

Unfortunately I can't say anything about the food because it didn't happen. We and my girls wanted to end my cozy JGA with a pint of Guinness. I traditionally had a small tray with me. (suitable if this is not tolerated) So the 7 of us wanted to sit down and unfortunately it didn't get that far. Because we were just thrown out. They don't tolerate bachelor farewells. OK. I say to the lady then it's over now. Not Accepted. I can understand not letting drunk or loud people in! We weren't even there. We felt very discriminated against! So I won't be going there with my girls anymore!! So I can't recommend it for groups!!

I have been a guest in Dublin for many years, not constantly or weekly but always. In changing company, with the girls' evening, with your partner, with a good friend for a good conversation. The reservation always works. Also special requests such as: The glass of champagne on the table in advance because of the birthday is always read, noticed and carried out. The quality of the food is absolutely good and also recommended. I am very critical about the origin and preparation of food, simply because I don't want to feed my body "crap". And I was and am always satisfied. Even small order changes are always taken into account. I don't know of any pub, bar, restaurant or whatever in the area that has such incredibly well-selected staff. Always in a good mood and, even when there are so many guests, there is still time for a quick personal word. Not just for me, but also at the neighboring tables. And to address the topic of money and tips - yes, it has become a bit more expensive over the years, but so have others. I'm not Croesus and I don't shake it off my sleeve, but every now and then it's worth it to me for the high quality of the food and service. I would have said that I tip in the normal range and it has never happened in the last 10 years that someone has wasted the change by one or two euros in their favor, as was read in a previous review. Dublin is my "hometown", with cozy music, a cozy atmosphere, I've laughed and cried there, celebrated and even just drank a very unspectacular Guinness. I'm not illuminated by 1000 watt light bulbs and I'm not sitting on a display in the middle of 100 people. I can go there dressed up because I feel like it, I can also go there in jeans and a T-shirt and I will always be treated the same. Sorry, but I can't let it go that someone in Dublin is incorrect. I'm sorry to anyone who had a different experience. Of course there are mistakes and oversights. But talking also helps, it's a big family there and if something has happened you can definitely sort it out. For me it has been one of my favorite places for years and when things go wrong in life, go to Dublin, have a drink and the world looks better straight away. And if things are going well, you can party and eat burgers. :-)

Yes, highly recommend. Unfortunately, there is often no space without a reservation.

We as a group ate hete yesterday. We called ahead to tell that we would be a bit later than our reservation, this was no problem. And once there we were greeted with the nicest host, who took very good care of us. The food was amazing and the drinks were delicious. Also great variety and selection of whiskys! Also lots of thanks for the extra service! If i am in the region again i will certainly stop by. Sláinte All the best

Salty prices, although there was good beef in the stew, 20 € for a ladle of it is a bit much, as the portion was quite small... otherwise great!

Overall a good but expensive place. Unfortunately, the service staff (or some of them) are very fond of tips. Although we always give ~10% for the good service here, people often "unintentionally" return a euro or two too little. Unfortunately, this has happened so often that I can no longer dismiss it as a one-time oversight. Be sure to pay attention!

In order to get the best food and fine drinks in this Irish pub, I like to drive a good 200 kilometers there and back and stay overnight in the hotel. I feel at home there, the service is very friendly and attentive, I'm already looking forward to my next visit there.

Unfortunately I haven't been able to try fish & chips yet because I always end up eating burgers because of the awesome burgers!! JGA theme: In my opinion, you would really be doing yourself a disservice with JGAs here! Nobody wants bullying, often embarrassing Germans in the Irish pub, that ruins the “trip” to Ireland! Best with a belly drawer... P.S. Anyone who is supposedly out and about in a "normal" way before celebrating in a small group at their JGA simply doesn't mention anything about the JGA ;) Otherwise, there are plenty of bars in the area that will be happy to accommodate you and where you won't ruin the evening for other guests and the staff . There are also shops where JGAs are explicitly encouraged and you might even get a bottle of champagne or something on the house! That's better for everyone - win-win-win!

The pub impresses with its super nice ambience, which immediately creates a cozy and inviting atmosphere. The prices are absolutely fair and make it easy to enjoy a relaxing evening. The staff is particularly noteworthy - the waiters are incredibly nice and personable, you feel completely comfortable and well looked after. No wonder the pub is so popular; all tables were occupied, which is absolutely deserved. That's why it's best to reserve online in advance. An all-round successful place that I would be happy to return to at any time!

Absolutely cozy, authentic atmosphere to hang out with friends and spend cozy hours with a few typical Irish drinks. In addition to the numerous whiskeys, sierras, beers, etc., the food doesn't have to hide either, it tastes great. In my experience, the hut is always full by evening at the latest, so reserving in good time is definitely an advantage. Always my pleasure...!

Top food and noticeably good service, especially if there is a justified complaint. It was really fun to see so many committed employees. The food was very tasty. The atmosphere is typical of an Irish pub, so it's super cozy and tight. Simply great!

Top Service! Mein Burger war kalt und ich habe selten so ein zuvorkommendes Team erlebt. Der neue, heiße (vegetarische) Burger war dann auch richtig lecker! Wer den Cheesecake probieren möchte, sollte vorher nicht zu satt sein, es sind große Portionen. Gerne wieder!

My wife and me arrived late in town last Sunday evening in need of a friendly pub to relax in. We discovered “A thousand miles from Dublin”, which sounds about right. A great atmosphere, the bar tender was friendly, courteous and very helpfull. Although Guinness is probably Ireland’s best export, I had the Murphy’s which was by far the best pint (although I had a few more) I’ve had outside of Ireland. A great pub to visit, just for the atmosphere, even if you don’t drink, a wide range of drinks were available: we will be back.

A very great Irish pub with very, very nice staff. We were warmly welcomed and then given a table for the two of us. We had reserved in advance, which was good because it was very busy during the time we were there. When a table became available, it never took long for the next guests to take it. The food (fish & chips, Irish stew and Baileys cheesecake) was excellent. The drinks menu also includes everything your heart desires. Starting from beer to whiskey to mixed drinks. We would come back at any time because we really liked the Irish atmosphere. Thank you very much for the great evening and best wishes. You're doing a great job.

Very pleasant experience! The food was great ! I had a steak sandwich with their fries and it was sooo delicious! I was so full but couldn’t stop eating ! Atmosphere is good too with very friendly staff that are constantly checking up on you to make sure you are happy . High recommend going here for drinks or dinner .

Food tasted good, but expected slightly larger burgers for the price. Sandwich was ok. Very friendly staff. Seats outside are very crooked in places because they are on the opposite street.

Went there last Sunday and it was great. Staff super nice, competent and there immediately if you need anything. So there's nothing to complain about there.

Great bar, good food, great drinks. Service quick and in a good mood. Have been here many times over the years since the Irish pub existed, even with larger groups. So far the experiences have been almost entirely positive. The bar is busy on weekends, so if you plan to come with a group or want to sit down, you should definitely make a reservation in advance. Price/performance is ok, I think the pricing is a bit expensive for a bar.

We were here yesterday for an extraordinarily cool whiskey tasting. All unknown to me but superbly selected fine wines. Rarely have I experienced such a chilled tasting. Felt like home. Thanks again for the witty afternoon 👍

I recently had the pleasure of visiting an Irish pub renowned for its delectable selection of beers. Let me start by saying that the taste of their brews was absolutely worth every penny. That being said, it's important to note that the beers at this establishment leaned towards the pricier side. While the higher cost can be attributed to the quality and craftsmanship, it did give me pause before indulging in multiple rounds. Nevertheless, the taste and experience of sampling their diverse beer offerings were undeniably delightful. The pub itself exuded a cozy, welcoming ambiance, complete with traditional Irish décor and live music filling the air. It provided an authentic setting to unwind and appreciate the rich flavors of the beers. The staff members were friendly and well-versed in their beer selection. However, there was one aspect that slightly detracted from the otherwise enjoyable atmosphere. Occasionally, the pub played American country music tracks which Im sure they were maybe wrongly in their irish spotify playlist. While I understand the desire to cater to a diverse clientele, as a personal preference, I found the inclusion of country music in an Irish pub somewhat discordant. Nonetheless, if you are a beer aficionado willing to splurge on exceptional taste, I wholeheartedly recommend paying a visit to this Irish pub and try the irish beer specially the kilkeny one. Just be prepared to savor some truly delicious, albeit pricier, brews. And while the occasional inclusion of American country music may not be to everyone's liking, the overall experience of the pub and the remarkable quality of their beers make it a worthwhile destination for beer lovers.

Pub carinissimo nel centro di Kempten. Atmosfera calda e accogliente. Panini e patatine buonissimi. Ottime birre soprattutto le Ludwing. Prezzi nella media, io e il mio compagno abbiamo pagato 50 euro per 2 hamburger e 2 birre.

Das beste Pub ganz Deutschlands wenn man mich fragt! Essen war top und der beste Service durch die unfassbar freundlichen Mitarbeiter. Tolle Atmosphäre und gute Musik kommen auch noch mit dazu. Am liebsten mag ich die Köche mit Schiebermütze und den eloquenten Chef. Am schönsten finde ich aber, wie die Mitarbeiter behandelt werden und mit sich gegenseitig umgehen, am liebsten würde ich dort in der Küche anfangen!!! Ich bin mir sicher selbst die Küchenhilfen bekommen mach der Schicht ihren Whiskey. Komme also jederzeit gerne wieder

Great shop! Very detailed and coolly furnished, a real pub. The guys in service are super nice, you quickly feel welcome and you never sit for long with empty glasses. Food also super tasty. Prices tend to be in the upper range, if you know that in advance that's ok. Tip: reserve!! :)

Folks, it's St. Patrick's Day today! Ireland's biggest celebration/party day. And the Irish pub in Kempten is closed. Nothing is going on! How does it work? All the other Irish pubs have been partying all day. So I'm bitterly disappointed. Next time I'll go to Isny.

The pub is totally authentic. We felt very comfortable. As soon as we entered we were greeted very warmly. It was Saturday evening and we didn't have a reservation. The waitress tried hard to organize a place for us. In the end, everything was occupied right down to the last place. Nevertheless, the service team was always attentive and friendly! Top!! The selection of food matched the ambience and was good and freshly prepared. We would like to come again. Keep it up!!!

Loading filth! We wanted to go to the carnival parade with 10 people to stop off. Conditions said no, even though we had a turnover of over €200 a year earlier. A pity. Juice shop!

Über Empfehlung gefunden und mehr als zufrieden damit! Der Pub war an einem Freitagabend ziemlich voll, zum Glück hatten wir reserviert. Dennoch wurden wir sehr zügig bedient und erlebten einen unheimlich freundlichen, gut gelaunten Service! Unser Essen (Veggie Burger sowie Fish and Chips) kam ebenfalls zügig und war sehr lecker. Von der Portion her ausreichend. Auch die Getränke (Gin Tonic) waren gut. Insgesamt hatten wir einen wirklich schönen Abend mit tollem Service, gutem Essen und angemessenem Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis. Sehr gern wieder, wenn wir noch mal in Kempten sind! Einzig anzumerken ist, dass der Geräuschpegel im Pub recht laut ist. Das kann man sich bei einer solchen Location aber vorher denken, daher keine Kritik.

Update: Danke für die Antwort. Als Pubbesucher war ich immer bereit etwas mehr zu zahlen, Guinness und andere Spezialitäten sind ja kein normales Bier. Auch das Essen ist und war klasse. Nicht nur ich sondern andere auch fanden aber dass es bei Burger und Co. einen Portionsschwund gab. War vielleicht eine Ausnahme. Dass die aktuelle Regierung uns und alle die was rocken wollen gegen die Wand fährt ist Tatsache, ich bleib Euch schon treu nur kann ich mir dieses Vergnügen nur noch selten leisten. Danke für die Antwort. Superschön wenn es nicht voll ist, superlecker, tolle Bedienungen. Aber sorry, ihr seid ein Pub, Essen da die s 0 Euro Grenze fast knackt, Biermischgetränke die über 6Euro liegen das ist so extrem teuer dass man sich das Pub Feeling dass für die einfachen erfunden wurde nicht mehr gönnen kann. Mir ist als Geschäftsmann der auch hier Steuern zahlt und sich über das was einem dieses unfähige Land / Regierung abzockt aufregt klar dass alles teurer wird aber diese Preise liegen auf dem Level von Manhattan / New York. Schade dass die Pros dieses Lokals leider die preislichen Cons nicht mehr ausbalancieren. Es ist zu teuer. Und dass ihr nicht nur die Preise größer sondern die Portionen kleiner macht (der selbe miese Trick wie beim Weihnachtsmarkt von 0,25 auf 0,2 Tassen an den Läden) das finde ich beschämend, gerade bei einem so tollen Lokal dass ich als Stammkunde so gerne besuche.

Wir kommen hier gerne zu den leckeren Burgern oder einfach auf ein frisch gezapftes Guiness. Immer ein Top Service und super freundliches Personal. Einzig wenn es voll ist, ist es etwas laut. Eine Reservierung ist sinnvoll.

Der Typ mit dem Schnauzer hinter der Bar ist der absolute Hammer. Sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend und liest jeden Wunsch von den Augen ab. 10/10.

Alles super, aber stellenweise diese grausame Musik ist echt schrecklich. Ich weiß, es ist ein Irish Pub, aber in Irland gibt es auch angenehme Musik. Dieses Gekreische ist echt übel. Sorry Nachtrag: Ok, gekreische ist das falsche Wort. Gedudel passt eher.

Meine absolute Lieblingsbar in Kempten. Sie ist super gemütlich eingerichtet, es gibt gute Getränke (Snakebite) und das Personal ist freundlich und aufmerksam. Besonderes Highlight sind die Abende mit Live-Musik!!!
