Uncle Smash in München

The place is just to overrated! The smell of the meat was the same as refrigerator. When you are ordering from the corner alone, you have just a number, and you must to watch the whole time if some food is there and to realize if this is yours or not ( no special codes when your order is ready and you have some call on this small items ), they are just calling you to come without knowing what did you ordered. The burgers are small, and dry.

My order was delivered by uber eats the cheeseburger was good , the Loaded truffle parmesan was tasty ..

The food was good/ok. Nothing special, so it's not worth going there for. 2 stars because the employee had a stressed look on his face, as if I'd grabbed his sister.

The food was truly delicious—the Parmesan truffle fries were a particular highlight! Unfortunately, delivery times are incredibly long, even with a priority surcharge via Uber Eats. That's a shame, because the food would have been absolutely fantastic, but the wait spoils the overall experience.

Very good Smash Burger in Munich. The meat is crispy on the outside but not dry on the inside, and the bun is fluffy. The sauces on the burger complete the whole experience. The fries are crispy but nothing special, but they go very well with the Uncle Smash sauce. The prices are absolutely perfect. I highly recommend this burger!

Basically, if I feel like eating some cheap convenience food, I order from McDonald's. I expected much more than cheap, oil-filled crispy chicken

This has really become my benchmark for burgers. Unfortunately there are far too few seats and it's a bit expensive, but it's totally worth it!

I think this is my new favorite burger place. Everything is great. Burgers, fries, taste, prices, friendliness, drinks. Friz Kola and lemonades, Elephant Bay Ice Tea, Adelholzner water. The fries are super crunchy and deliciously seasoned. Well-deserved 5 stars. There is nothing that could be improved. The food comes very quickly. The chicken dishes are good but not as good as the beef burgers. The chili cheese-loaded fries are unfortunately nothing. It's not cheese, but cheese sauce that makes the fries soggy very quickly. Unfortunately, the clientele there can sometimes be very grumpy. Undershirts and gold chains or dirty and neglected. I no longer find it pleasant to sit there.

Originally one of the best burgers in town. Unfortunately, they changed the bun and the amount of "filling," resulting in a completely different burger, where you're just eating bread with nothing inside. It's a real shame! Otherwise, it's still a great place.

It can't be that we have to wait 40 minutes for an order when the shop is empty and that the food didn't taste that good for the price you should think twice and they can't change money so we can buy a parking ticket and they still said no even though we ate there

Unfortunately, the service was abysmal. There was no basic restaurant comprehension, no sense of customer service or courtesy, just an angry, irritated man who seemed as if he were being forced into this job. The truffle burger menu included a burger that was okay, but the bread was comparable to a McDonald's or KFC, which, along with the frozen fries, diminished its taste. The house sauce was surprisingly good. The ambiance was compact, yet very inviting and was one of the best parts of the restaurant experience. Overall, unfortunately, a glorified fast food experience that you could get for less at a Burger King.

The food is okay, but nothing special. Quite greasy, typical fast food. I think the average €10 per burger is too much. It's also very disorganized, and you wait a long time for your food, even when it's not busy.

Burger great, service flop 🧐 The burger was really tasty and the value for money was good. Unfortunately, the man behind the counter (a tall man with a beard) wasn't particularly friendly, barely interacting with customers, dismissive, and generally had an annoyed demeanor. I think that even if you don't want to talk much, you can still be polite and friendly, especially when interacting with customers. It just doesn't make a good impression if you feel unwelcome as a guest. What a shame!

The owner is Turkish but he did not speak Turkish to us.

2 stars only for the fries. The guy at the checkout demonstratively turned away when we asked him about something. No place to sit. Everyone stands outside and looks at your plate and asks how soon you will finish. It is stuffy inside. The room is not ventilated at all. I felt sick. We waited 30 minutes for our order. The toilet is very dirty. We were taken in by the advertising on TikTok and regretted it.

The best Smashburger I've ever eaten! The sauce on the fries was also a real highlight – a kind of cocktail sauce, but with a special twist that made them incredibly delicious. The fries were nice and crispy and well-seasoned. The Smashburger itself was also top-notch: juicy, tender meat, perfectly topped, and assembled so that nothing falls apart when eaten. For me, this is definitely a must-try when in Munich! The prices are absolutely fair – the menus include fries, a drink, and a Smashburger.

Really bad experience. Ordered via Uber eats. The chilli cheeseburger apparently had no cheese in it. Patty was also half burnt. Chilli fries seemed like boiled fries with sauce and Jalapeños. Asked for cutlery, which was nowhere to be found. In short, disappointed.

The burger was absolutely okay - the fries were too soft. No greeting when we entered the shop. There was no eye contact, nor was there any reciprocation of the conversation. It's sad that you can't even recommend it. I'm sorry to say I have to remove this spot from my Munich list.

An amazing place to get smash burgers! Went there on a Sunday evening around 6pm and it was really packed, also not great that the place was not so big. After a moment we realized that it is packed with food delivery drivers and there were not much people who are wanting to eat there so we actually did get a table even if there were only five tables inside and three tables outside. The food comes out quick enough but they do have some organization issues with the orders, it was very very common to see people getting someone else’s order within the 30 minutes we were there but it was always solved. We tried the hamburger, french fries, and their chicken nuggets. The burger was near perfection with the patty being crispy on the sides and juicy in the inside. Their french fries were also really tasty and their nuggets also tasted well above average. The hamburger was 6.7€. The six pieces of chicken nuggets and the normal french fries were 4.5€. The price to portion ratio here is also not bad considering that we are eating in Munich. Would recommend the place and might just come back to try their other burgers!

We ordered from Uncle Smash through Wolt. Due to the distance, the fries were a bit cold and not that good anymore. I think it makes a difference locally. The packaging is very large, the burgers are rather normal. The buns were super soft and super fluffy, so really good! We also really liked the sauce and everything. The burger patty also tasted delicious. For us personally, the burgers could be a bit bigger. You almost need 2 cheeseburgers🤭🙈

The food quality was excellent! The smashed burger was just perfect – crispy on the outside while staying juicy on the inside. The fries were also really good. The place doesn't have many seats, but that wasn’t a problem at all. Prices were very reasonable for the quality you get. I totally recommend this place!

Great shop! The food is high quality and inexpensive, every cent was worth it! I tried a few burgers on my trip to Nuremberg and everyone couldn't come close to this burger. The burger was perfect from top to bottom! Hopefully there will be one in NRW soon! The ambience is also really cool and beautifully done, a bit small but nice!

Very small shop, the aisles and spaces are full of tons of bottle crates. Uncomfortable atmosphere. Not-clean tables. Worn out furniture. Food tasted good. Quality rather doubtful.

The sauces (on the burger/with the fries) were very tasty. Unfortunately, the meat had small pieces of gristle in it and wasn't very tasty. The place seemed clean, but the restroom was unfortunately really dirty.

My order at Uncle Smash was a complete disappointment and shattered all my expectations of a burger joint. I ordered a hamburger, but what I got was an insulting disappointment. Not only was the burger squashed, but it was also ice-cold and had a rancid taste, as if it had been sitting there for days. Every bite was excruciating. But that wasn't enough – the fries were the icing on the cake. Cold, soggy, and also had that disgusting rancid aftertaste. I literally wondered if the food was intentionally prepared so poorly. After one attempt at eating it, I had to throw it all away. It was simply inedible. And the best part? I paid a whopping €17 for this "culinary" nightmare! That's an absolute disgrace for what I got. The bottom line: Uncle Smash managed to convince me, after just one visit, to never return. Anyone who cares even a little about quality, taste, or their money should avoid this place. One of the worst experiences I've ever had in a restaurant. Never again!

Taste just average and too expensive for what is offered.

I ordered today 3/14/25 at 6:40 p.m. I had to wait 2 hours for my food. That's all well and good and I understand if there's a lot going on on Friday. But when the food arrived it was cold and inedible, even the chocolate sauce at McDonald's was warmer than everything put together!

Burger good close to great,maybe a bit greasy. Not sure. Fries better. 13 € including a soft drink ok for Munich I guess even if we are not in an exclusive area or location.

We had the menu with the cheeseburger and fries. The fries were ok, but the burger (100g) was too dry for my taste and somehow lacked seasoning. Overall it was unfortunately bland and boring. It was ok to try out, but we wouldn't go there again. Addendum: having bad and honest reviews removed by Google and accusing customers of defamation borders on fraud. Therefore now only one star instead of 2!

I had a single chili cheese burger. My burger patty didn't taste good at all because apparently a whole load of pepper was spilled on it. I tried to scratch it, but unfortunately the whole burger was messed up. Since I took it with me, I couldn't complain about the burger.
