Quo vadis in Würzburg

The pizza was simply fantastic, served separately with garlic in oil and hot pepper oil, a great addition. The staff was extremely friendly and attentive. We were completely surprised and very satisfied with our visit!

The food was okay. The lasagna was cold inside, had very little béchamel sauce, and was very poorly seasoned. The service was friendly and helpful. Overall, it was okay.

We've been to Quovadis many times. It's always been very good. A huge selection. The pasta is made in-house. Highly recommended.

A 0.5-liter bottle of water costs exactly the same as a beer. We haven't experienced that anywhere else. The food is okay, but expensive.

Service is a foreign concept. We were served mediocre, overpriced food in an insensitive and lackluster manner. Next time, we'll eat somewhere else.

Unfortunately, it was a bit of a letdown: expensive prices, the waiter asks "Which number?" when ordering a bottle of water, and every time you mention a number, you have to ask again because he typed in the wrong dish. The food came quickly and was okay, but the pizza seems to be made from a raw dough.

A wonderful dinner and wonderful service. A very pleasant location. The food was excellent, and we must highlight how attentive and kind they were to our children.

The portion was a bit small for the price, but the taste was okay. The service was also just okay.

"Quo Vadis – A Roman Banquet in Miniature" O Würzburg, little sister of Rome, here I dined at Quo Vadis – and was torn between culinary delight and losing my coin. The truffle ravioli, delicate and well-made, could have enjoyed a stronger taste of the noble mushroom for almost twenty sesterces (euros). The portion? More of a friendly gesture than a feast. At least: a can of Parmesan for self-service – almost republican generosity! But alas, the price of the water – so high, you'd think it came from a holy spring. The location is pleasing to the eye, but the service… well, it did its job without leaving a lasting impression. 3.5 out of 5 stars – a place for fine snacks, not for large feasts. - Cicero, probably

The food was delicious, but the prices were quite high. It's a shame...we loved it here, but now it's almost impossible to afford a visit. Luckily, there are other Italian restaurants with equally delicious, yet affordable food.

Very tasty pizza, unfortunately much too small for the price. Lunch specials were excellent value for money. Very attentive service and a simply great location. We wouldn't come back without Schlemmerblock.

I had a decent pizza, but afterward I realized it had either been reheated or cooled before serving. You wouldn't expect that for that price, which is a shame.

Very good pizza with a fair price-performance ratio. We ordered two pizzas, a salad, and a small portion of pasta to take away – everything was excellent. A particularly positive aspect was that our order suggestions (e.g., less seasoning for the child) were taken into account. The pizza tasted really great – crispy base, good ingredients. It's something you wish you could have more often.

We've eaten there several times. It was always good and reasonably priced. After our last visit about a week ago, we regret to say that this will be our last visit. A regular ham pizza or a pasta dish with a sauce for €15.99 is simply too much. You can get that for much less at any other pizzeria. The fact that the water is more expensive than Coke, Fanta, etc. is no longer acceptable. It's a real shame, but for us, it was the last time.

The most amazing trombinis I've ever eaten. The Margherita was also sensational. But one thing stands out above all: We ordered from Lieferando, but unfortunately, something was forgotten. During a friendly phone call, I asked them to deliver the missing item. It turned out that the restaurant doesn't deliver itself, but only uses Lieferando for this. Nevertheless, they promised me a replacement delivery. Ten minutes later, it turned out that the restaurant had sent a waiter to bring the food over. A truly honorable man. So: Highly recommended in terms of quality and humanity.

Celebrated the end of the semester with 19 pizzas for €7 each, great price, all delicious, 20-30 minutes wait in total.

Pizza is art! Aglio olio is not recommended. Bread is not served before the meal. Seafood pasta is recommended!

I was here with my husband at the end of July 2017 for dinner in the outdoor area. We had the Würzburg voucher booklet with us and wanted to use the 2 for 1 voucher (9), which we presented right at the start. We both ordered dishes from the menu handed to us for €17.90 (Saltimbocca - a decent portion, tasted OK despite the sauce I couldn't identify) and €18.90 (Calamari alla Griglia). You can see what my husband received for his €19 in the photo - without further comment. When we asked if that was all, we received a calm and matter-of-fact yes. We found that cheeky, but we didn't want to make a fuss about the voucher. Now I've subsequently discovered that the actual menu online and in-store has different prices (in our case, €3.00 for saltimbocca and €5.40 for calamari - the 1L water we ordered, the green salad, and the Kristallweizen beer also differ considerably, sometimes by up to 35%, from the original price). (Of course, I don't need to mention that even at €13.50, the calamari portion, estimated at 30g, is completely unreasonable.) We not only feel blatantly ripped off, but we also see this as fraud! Absolutely outrageous... the bottom line is, despite the coupon booklet, we paid almost exactly the correct price! Based on previous negative experiences, I wouldn't have eaten here again... but based on the booklet, I wanted to give it another chance. The obvious double standards here, and the coupon customer gets different prices to keep the sales… It's certainly not in the spirit of the coupon booklet idea. We demanded appropriate action from the magazine's publishers, and an email to Quo Vadis was copied to them. ... The email to Quo Vadis never went through... hence the criticism in this way. Although we received a response from the magazine's publishers, it offered no hope of consequences or changes. Based on our experience, we cannot recommend the restaurant.

The food was very tasty. The prices are quite high.

We visited the restaurant base on quite good reviews on Google, but we got very dissapointed in reality. The pizza was not great, not terrible, but nothing we would return for. The sauces provided were obviously standing in the kitchen for a long time - the spoon service is very unhygienic and what was even worse, the chilli sauce had a dead fly in it. Disgusting. Lastly, the service was very slow and not observant, we felt like our presence is making them annoyed. We waited for god 10 or 15 minutes before being asked for ordering and this was in a situation where there were only us and one more table seated in the entire restaurant. The servers were standing nearby us, talking to each other, completely ignoring us. Not recommened, youcan sure find better places in the city.

The food was tasty... but the price was not worth it, so I only had a small portion. It's a good thing I wasn't too hungry... I think the people of Würzburg know where to get just as good food for less money...

In my opinion, the food and drinks are significantly overpriced for Würzburg. The taste is okay, but nothing more. Nice atmosphere and friendly staff. There are fairer prices and better food, and equally nice places nearby.

I used to really enjoy coming here often. Especially because they have gluten-free pizza and pasta. That's no longer the case! But it's become outrageously expensive these days. You can easily pay €15.90 for pizza here, plus a whopping €4 surcharge for the gluten-free dough. But the final straw is the drink prices. An Aperol Spritz or, for example, a Sarti Spritz, as pictured here, costs €8.90. You can see for yourself how many ice cubes/water are in the glass. A disgrace. Staff, as always, are on the ball and hard-working. Yet very unmotivated and sometimes a bit rude. The outdoor seating is also very close together to accommodate as many guests as possible. Plus point: hot food is served until late at night.

Surprise in dessert: honestly speaking, taste is subjective. However, Tiramisu is the second best I tried in my life. Worth to try if I have the chance to revisit this place again.

A bit expensive, but it is fair because you get a large portion and quite tasty! You must try the pizza bread coming with the large salad! It is the best pizza bread-Sticks I have ever had. I really recommend it. The pizza was also quite good.

Absolutely not recommended unfortunately! We wanted to have a leisurely dinner, the food itself was good, but for what it was it was just way too expensive and the portions were too small. The pizza capriciosa costs a whopping €17 and doesn't even fill the plate completely. Service was simply non-existent, despite there being few guests we were rarely noticed. The plates were cleared away while we ate the last bite and the glass was fetched as soon as it was empty, no one even asked for a second drink. Service is really zero.

Best Italian food in Würzburg 😄

Cozy restaurant with heated outdoor area. Very friendly staff and everything goes very quickly. The noodles with seafood are not cheap, but they are very tasty and have a lot of ingredients. The pizza bread came with two pots of chili sauce and garlic sauce. Also great for dipping the pizza crust. We enjoyed everything very much and we would love to come back.

Good italian restaurant in Würzburg in central area. (Nearby "The Bridge") Overall food was tasty and service was friendly and thus would recommend for those who consider italian food.(price was reasonable as well)

Unfortunately, unjustified price increase (as of 01/25). Unfortunately, drinks (Cola, Spezi, all juice spritzers...) are only available in 0.3 liters. That doesn't work at all. Especially in summer you sometimes feel the need to have more liquid in your glass. A sparkling water is available in 0.5 liters, but at a very high price of 5.90 euros. The cheapest soup was offered for 8.50 euros. Definitely too expensive for tomato soup. Too bad, too bad. The food overall is really good. Not star cuisine, but definitely tasty and prepared. However, in my opinion, the enormous price increase cannot be justified by the inflation of the last few years. Conclusion: Definitely only with the Schlemmerblock!

We were disappointed. Not really Italian food. Simple dishes overpriced. Cleanliness leaves a lot to be desired. There was some old sticky chewing gum in the napkin that I just used, probably from the previous customer!!! What an eck! I told the waiter this, he reacted very casually and said "Sorry, but I've experienced worse here." No compensation, neither coffee nor an honest decision from the boss. Simply ignored. We cannot recommend the store.

The food was great, but the waitresses seemed very annoyed, no nice greeting, no smile on their faces, just quickly dispatched and we moved on. We sat by the window and it was really cold. The store was completely full, so it was quite loud and just overall uncomfortable. Even the good food doesn't help anymore.

For an unassuming restaurant tucked away in the corner of a busy street I came in with medium expectations. The starters of bruschetta, minestrone, and Stracciatella alla romana which were solid in their own right. Then came the pizza capricciosa …. And I must say, hands down the best pizza I’ve ever had. I’ve lived in Europe for 12 years, and had pizza from all over the world, and I must say it’s the best balanced pizza I’ve ever had!! Buttery, yet crispy, yet slightly chewy crust. Balanced sauce, and fresh phenomenal toppings could not be topped. As a chef myself I must say it’s the best pizza I’ve ever had

Looking for a place to eat we followed some locals into Quo Vadis. It was filled with local residents and for a good reason. The food is delicious and fresh, the service is friendly and professional and the ambience is inviting and comfortable. They are using good ingredients and this is reflected in the delicious tasting dishes

It was my first time there with Neotaste and I had pizza, which was also very tasty. I then passed it on. When the waiter said at the end that we should give 5 stars (without please) I thought that was a bit cheeky, but okay. A few days ago I ordered pizza to take away and the first thing I said was: “Give me a good Google rating” and then I started complaining about prices etc. Here's a little tip... if you kindly point out that if your guests enjoy writing a good review, the essentials will come across better. You've only scared away one guest.

Unfortunately 200 km away from us, otherwise it would be our regular pizza place. I've actually never had such a delicious spaghetti bolognese before, especially the pasta. My husband Pizza Spinachi. He was very enthusiastic. The salad dressing on the very fresh side salad was my highlight. House sauce! The service was quick and extremely friendly. I would say it's family. Thank you!

Unfortunately nothing special, the pizza was okay but I've eaten much better The toilets weren't necessarily clean and there was no toilet paper in the women's toilet (my wife was there) even if there is a city festival that shouldn't happen because you have to check more often. Conclusion Service was friendly and there immediately but otherwise not suitable for coming back
