L'Aquila Ristorante in Würzburg

Main course: chicken skewers with salad. Unfortunately it didn't fill me up and I'm really a light eater. The salad was bland without dressing: A few green leaves, two raw slices of carrots and a piece of tomato, no bread with it. Others have already complained about this here. The chicken skewers were really thin, maybe 100g of chicken. The price (almost €17) is absolutely excessive. The place was full and the acoustics were terrible.

The food was tasty, but the portion could have been a little larger. Location is cozy. Service is nice and friendly. Reservation is recommended. I'd love to come back.

After another visit, I'm happy to increase my original rating, there were no complications and the brand new inventory looks great👏 First things first: pizza was good and beer was ice cold👍 However, there were also negative points, which is why I deducted two stars: A pizza was not delivered as ordered at first. After the exchange, there was one pizza too much on the bill, which fortunately we noticed after paying. The repayment was then made in the form of a handful of change. What I also didn't like is the decor. I don't find garden furniture in the interior of an Italian restaurant particularly inviting. At least the seat spacing was very large, which I found positive.

Potential to become my new favorite Italian! Pizzas were amazing, the atmosphere was great and the service was also very nice. I'll try to come more often from now on.

Very tasty pizza, friendly and attentive service.

There were four of us (2 adults, 2 teenagers) Food: Bruschette was cold and didn't taste good. My daughter had ravioli spinaci, which were good, but 6 smaller-than-average ravioli for €16.90 is a steep price. The rest had different pizzas that were really top. The ambience is really nice.

Pretty average food with absolutely horrible service and poor customer service skills. Short bald man pushed me out of the way to get to his station. Refused our request to change tables and generally unfriendly. Special of the day seafood dish used frozen seafood .ignored our request for parmesan cheese. Took forever to deliver drinks requested. Poor checkout experience. Expensive for what you get even if you get lucky to get what you order.

Since tastes are different... 3 stars! My calzone only deserved stars. Lots of dough - little taste. The noodles were said to be “good”. Waited forever until someone came to eat the food. Waiting for about an HOUR until the food came... Even in between, no one cared about us when it came to drinks. Apparently having a bad day... Oh yes! Every now and then a football flies in from the pitch... Cozy! Definitely not again!

Inconspicuous from the outside. Great inside. Overall, unbeatable. A deduction because the food wasn't really warm/hot. Maybe it will work next time ;-)) Today the food was great. Pizza delicious and fresh Addendum August/September 2024: Unfortunately, star deductions! Reason: Table reserved, although there was enough space in the shade, we were seated in the blazing sun. The restaurant + beer garden was not completely full, we didn't get a menu or drinks, etc. After waiting 30 minutes, we left.

We were there yesterday and had pre-booked a table. After we were shown the table, other tables were served before us. After we pointed this out to the employee, she said it wasn't her fault. Our meals, a pasta dish and a pizza, didn't arrive at the same time. The taste of the food was okay, but the pasta dish was too expensive for the portion. The staff seemed overwhelmed. We actually planned to have a nice evening with dessert and wine. But then we lost interest.

The stone oven pizza is great, totally my taste! Nice location, the weather was good, we sat on the outdoor terrace with a view of the greenery. The inside also looked very cozy and modern, you can practically look over the shoulders of the pizza chefs. It could get quite warm in the guest room. We just had to wait quite a long time for the pizza. However, there was also some confusion because we hadn't told them that a starter was supposed to be a main course.

Great pizza, meat and great people

The food (we had pizza and tiramisu twice) was very tasty, it could be our favorite pizzeria in Würzburg. It just took a very long time. But it was also full and we didn't have a reservation.

My absolute favorite from now on, because if you want to eat authentically Italian food, this is the place for you. There is a trampoline and a slide for children. We will definitely come by often.

With a very large group (but also reserved early for 6 p.m.) we unfortunately still had very, very long waiting times and the staff were simply overwhelmed by the situation. It was so loud inside that you could hardly have a conversation with your immediate neighbor. The food itself was really delicious, but unfortunately we had to wait a long time for it and it took a total of 30 minutes between the first and last plate. So you couldn't really eat together and some people had to watch the others for a while, being very hungry at 8 a.m. I wouldn't make a reservation again for such a large group, but I'd love to come back for the good food. The pizzas and pasta were all really great.

The pizza is one of the best in Würzburg! Unfortunately the service was a disaster... I sat there for 1 1/2 hours with an empty glass and would have also ordered dessert... After we paid, we were asked to come to the bar. I wouldn't have come again, but the pizza is really delicious

Well, it's highly praised...but I don't understand why!!!! We were there with 12 people...outdoor next to the football field...ambient accordingly...pizza was average at best and the taste was nothing special...pizza arrived after over 2 hours and drinks were served after 45 minutes upon request...payment too complicated, only cash or EC card...I can't recommend it

Pizza is good, a little more mozzarella would sometimes be good, unfortunately a bit too expensive. Service is sometimes chaotic, sitting outside is nice, unfortunately the atmosphere inside is not nice

If you want to eat really authentic and delicious Italian food, this is the right place for you. The menu is something special and has much more to offer than the standard pizzeria around the corner. The service was also great and we will come back when we are in Würzburg again.

L’Aquila Ristorante on Mainaustraße “Zellerau” in Würzburg is an absolute highlight. The pizza, cooked in an impressive open oven in the middle of the restaurant, is the best I've ever tasted. The dough is perfectly crispy, the ingredients are fresh and tasty. The atmosphere is cozy and inviting, the service friendly and attentive. A must for every pizza lover!

Pizza is good, but you should stay away from pasta or meat dishes. We've been there several times. Pork fillet is 2 paper-thin, fatty and sinewy pieces. Salad is available to dress yourself with vinegar and oil. It's better to offer lasagna, gratinated noodles or a real saltimbocca I. You can't find anything like that on the menu at all. The prices are also overpriced. The staff is always friendly! As I said, it's worth eating pizza but the rest doesn't taste good at all.

Unfortunately, the food was a disaster. Pizza salami and also pasta... I can't remember the exact name, they tasted like absolutely nothing. Very disappointing

All in all ok, but nothing special. Food was good, service was mixed, sometimes friendly, sometimes nothing like that. The premises are nice, but it was extremely loud.

Essen war okay, eine Änderung der Beilage war ohne Aufpreis möglich. Einrichtung ist schön, leider ist es sehr laut, sodass das Servicepersonal einen teilweise nicht versteht. Unschön war das, was Teile unserer Gruppe serviert bekamen. Auf einer Pizza fehlte Mozzarella, der laut Karte auf jeder Pizza zu finden sein soll. Die Carbonara waren eher Rührei mit Spaghetti. Das Schokoladensouffle war ein Lavakuchen. Alles in allem ein mittelmäßiges Erlebnis.

Ich habe mich heute sehr auf eine Carbonara gefreut. Die Beschreibung in der Karte klang vielversprechend. Wer schon einmal in Italien war, weiß wie vorzüglich diese schmeckt. Bekommen habe ich leider etwas anderes. Das Ei hat schon gestockt gehabt, Guanciale war eher etwas Wurstartiges? Hatte überhaupt nichts mit dem knusprigen Guanciale zu tun gehabt. Dementsprechend war die Carbonara auch überhaupt nicht salzig. Ich musste sehr oft nachwürzen. Wirklich sehr schade! Das Personal war nett. Das Ambiente sieht sehr schön aus. Kartenzahlung nur mit EC Karte möglich.

Ich hatte die Gnocchi in Salbeibutter. Leider vom Salbei keine Spur. Meinen Begleitungen ging es mit dem Essen relativ ähnlich. Würde sagen, jeder 2te hatte etwas anders erwartet. Leider etwas schade. Ansonsten Ambiente und Service top.

Schade, dass jede Nation den Italiener kopieren muss. Ich hatte mehr das Gefühl ich wäre beim Ukrainer oder bei einem Russen. Sicherlich hat so eine Ukrainer oder Russe auch eine spezielle Küche aus der er etwas anbieten könnte. Bei meiner Pizza Frutti di Mare für 17 € musste ich die Meeresfrüchte suchen, es war mehr eine Margherita aber der Teig war gut.

Obwohl der Laden nicht voll besetzt war haben wir über eine Stunde auf das Essen gewartet, manches kam dann leider lauwarm an. Die Pizza war aber lecker 👍🏽

Tolles Restaurant, geschmackvoll eingerichtet und das Essen ist einfach Klasse. Wir kommen zwar nicht aus der Gegend, aber wenn wir dort sind lohnt sich immer ein Besuch!

Mit Abstand das schönste Lokal das ich je sah. Das Essen ist absolut Top. Mit beruhigten Gewissen kann ich das Lokal weiterempfehlen.

Ich war total enttäuscht. Hatte Spieße gegrillt bestellt. Alles war roh. Salat hatte kein Dressing. Hinterher wurde mir gesagt, hätte ich selbst drauf machen müssen. Meine frage war mit was. Konnte fast nichts davon Essen. Trotzdem wurde der volle Preis verlangt. Wir waren über 20 Leute. Wir kommen nicht mehr. Schade. Ist ein schönes Restaurant.

Erster Besuch, muss sagen es war perfekt. Tolles Ambiente, sehr nette freundliche Bedienung, echt leckere Pizza und Calzone.😋 Man sieht sich wieder 👍 Ergänzung... Jetzt schon oft hier gewesen. Immer sehr sehr lecker. Top Bedienung Calzone der Burner, Pizzen mit sehr leckerem Teig... 👍

Ich wag gestern hier und es war super die Nudeln waren klasse die Pizza sah auch sehr gut aus. Wenn ich wieder mal in Würzburg bin ist das Restaurant auf jeden fall auf der Liste wo ich wieder hingehen würde.

Das Ristorante L'Aquila ist ein wahres kulinarisches Juwel! Das Ambiente ist einladend, das Personal herzlich und aufmerksam. Die Speisekarte bietet eine breite Auswahl an köstlichen italienischen Gerichten, die stets frisch und exquisit zubereitet werden. Ich hatte das Vergnügen, dort zu essen, und die Qualität des Essens hat mich beeindruckt. Das L'Aquila ist definitiv ein Ort, den man besuchen sollte, wenn man erstklassige italienische Küche in gemütlicher Atmosphäre genießen möchte.

Alles sehr lecker, nettes Ambiente, wir kommen wieder

Wir haben gegrillten Tintenfisch (ca 24 Euro) und verschiedene gegrillte Fische (ca 31 Euro) bestellt. Dazu hatten wir jeweils einen kleinen Beilagensalat, bei dem uns nicht gefallen hat, dass kein Dressing dran war (Essig und Öl stehen an jedem Tisch bereit - gewiss nicht bei allen Menschen unbeliebt). 2 Scheibchen Brot dazu hätten uns gefallen. Der Lachs war für unseren Geschmack etwas zu roh. Angesichts des Preises hätte eine vernünftige Beilage sicher Sinn ergeben. Das Personal ist freundlich und das Ambiente stimmig. Liebe Grüße

Wahrscheinlich die beste Pizza in Würzburg. Geschmacklich eindeutig (z. B. Die Pizza Siziliana). Aufmerksamer und sehr freundlicher Service.

Endlich jemand wo weiß wie Pizza geht

Schöner Ort, jedoch war die Carbonara nicht so lecker, weil kaum Soße drauf war und die Bedienungen vermittelten mit das Gefühl, nur schnell abgearbeitet zu werden. Die Pizza war jedoch sehr lecker und gut gemacht. Leider kamen unsere Bestellungen nicht zeitgleich.

Leider unseren Erfahrungen nach aus folgenden Gründen nicht zu empfehlen: 1. Wir haben 1Std und 30 Minuten auf unser Essen gewartet (Dies wäre komplett ok wenn uns im vorhinein gesagt wurden wäre dass es längern dauern könnte. Es wurde uns aber so nicht mitgeteilt. 2. Für die Preise war das Essen bei 2 von 4 Personen sehr sehr wenig. 3. Der Salat war sehr schlecht. Es waren Salatblätter, 2 Gurken Scheiben und etwas geriebene Karotten. Es sah wirklich aus als hätte ich zuhause kurz einen Salat hergestellt mit übriggeblieben Mitteln. Und ich bin nichtmal gut im Salate machen ^^ 4. Eine Person hatte eine Pizza bestellt und es fehlte eine von den 3 Zutaten Ich gebe hier 2 Sterne weil wir immerhin noch Pizzabrot und Tiramisu bekommen haben als wir unsere Meinung mittgeteilt haben. Leider mag ich kein Tiramisu (ich wurde nicht gefragt ob ich etwas bekommen will oder wasgenau) aber die Geste war wirklich nett Pizzabrot war super lecker und die Pizza war auch sehr gut nachdem wir noch die letzte Zutat nachgereicht bekommen haben. Eventuell lohnt es sich hier für Pizza hinzugehen (?)

Mit die beste, wenn nicht DIE beste Pizza in Würzburg!! Restaurant wird von zwei echten Italienerinnen geführt, eine bereitet die Pizzen zu und die zweite ist im Service. Ambiente ist entspannt und Publikum komplett gemischt. Auf Sonderwünsche wird gerne eingegangen.
