Cool café, delicious food. BUT I wanted breakfast and not have to wait forever, despite having a reservation, as if it were some cult club. That has nothing to do with exclusivity. And customer friendliness doesn't mean the customer is friendly.

Rude workers racist only nice to their friends, waiter did not know the menu or how to explain, food was mid, not going again

We went there for breakfast and were very satisfied. The service was super friendly and helpful – we immediately felt welcome. We particularly enjoyed the shakshuka: deliciously seasoned, filling, and generously portioned. Overall, a very pleasant visit; we'd love to come back!

Nice place but we waited more than 5 min to be seated. I had the Huevos Rancheros, which tasted strange for me, since it was prepared similarly to Mexican style. Choosing the dishes would have been easier if the menu had pictures.

The food is absolutely delicious, enough for four people. We ordered: The Nutella pancakes were delicious. The egg toast without salmon was amazing. And the French toast was delicious. The restaurant was flawless. The service was wonderful and friendly. I highly recommend it. We made a reservation just in case, even though the place wasn't crowded. I rate it 10/10.

Well I go alone but I was lucky I didn’t wait too much as long the girls taking booking told me if 1 hour enough for me to eat 😅 so crowded inside and the table next to each other well super noisy I don’t recommend it if u re looking for calm place to start your day ,service fast but they was just robotic customer service no smile no asking about reviews and for me I don’t prefer this kind of place after all it’s beautiful inside and ve unique design and their food yummy 🤤 ✨

I waited over an hour for a sandwich with scrambled eggs and no side dishes. Then I waited forever to pay because there was only a card reader. I've been there three times now, and the service was terrible each time. The only thing I liked about the place is the ambiance and the location.

First of all, the service was extremely disappointing. We arrived earlier than some other guests, yet the staff chose to seat them before us. After we were finally seated, it took a long time for anyone to take our order. To make matters worse, the dishes were served incorrectly. Now, let’s talk about the food. Hmm… the bread was harder than the soles of my shoes—does this restaurant even have an oven? When it came time to pay, things got even more frustrating. A dark-haired female staff member was busy chatting with her friends and completely ignored us, even when we made eye contact. When she finally came over, she asked us, with an air of arrogance, how much tip we were going to leave. We did end up leaving a 5-euro tip—not because we were satisfied, but out of basic courtesy as customers.

A very nice restaurant with light meals for dinner. Four tapas are more than enough for two people if you're not too hungry. The portions are definitely large enough, and there's plenty of choice, even for vegetarians. Everything was delicious.

Cozy, trendy café/restaurant with a young clientele. Large, extensive menu, something for every taste... I would have loved to try more! Fast, very friendly service! Great selection of drinks. Vegan and lactose-free options available. The black bread with avocado spread, ham, and poached egg was very tasty, and the crispy bacon was delicious! 😋 The freshly squeezed orange/carrot juice with ginger was fantastic 👍 I/we will be back! My daughters invited me here on Mother's Day, partly because of the good reviews... and I was unfortunately disappointed. The service was abysmally inattentive. For example, we waited over 45 minutes to order our food, even though we had made an early reservation. We've worked in the restaurant industry ourselves and are really very understanding and patient... especially when it's busy. But the worst of it was that I paid the €98 with a €100 bill and didn't want to leave a tip this time (!!) because of the inattentive service... and the waitress took the €100 bill and disappeared without giving me the change... she also looked a bit annoyed by this small "tip" and left without another word... speechless... I usually always tip well, but I didn't see the point in this case, as the prices here aren't exactly low either. I was truly speechless... I didn't want to make a big deal about 2 euros. I was only visiting Munich for one day and didn't want any trouble... but that was the absolute worst. And by the way, this is my first bad review ever.

Craving led us here—and no regrets! We came without a reservation and found out the place was fully booked (hot tip: definitely make a booking!). Luckily, we managed to get a seat outside, and the team was kind enough to offer us blankets because it’s gloomy and windy—such a thoughtful touch on a chilly day. The chai latte was absolutely amazing—comforting and full of flavor. We had the shakshuka and a sandwich (wish I remembered the name!), both served fresh with great quality ingredients. Every bite was satisfying. Highly recommend for a cozy brunch or casual meal. Will definitely be back—with a reservation next time 😂 if the weather bad

The food was nothing special and the drinks were much too watery, there was also a waiter who was much too cheeky and none of the card readers worked, which given the bill you would expect to pay €10 for 4 mini minced meat balls in tomato sauce is bottomless and I could have easily eaten 15 such tapas plates because they were really just so tiny and simply outrageous for the price

Nice service, quick food, very tasty and also cool, unusual dishes for breakfast, not just scrambled eggs with wheat rolls. Also a good vegan selection. However, prices are rather more expensive for breakfast.

Once again typical for Munich. Make yourself exclusive and you will be run in. The coffee took longer than the food. We went for breakfast and unfortunately it was one of the most disappointing eggs Benedict ever. The sourdough bread is almost impossible to eat. It is absolutely not a complete failure. But long lines to eat and pay for it. Munich, are you serious?

Extremely slow service. We waited for more than an hour for our food because the kitchen didn’t receive our order. We were informed after an hour about this. Very disappointed.

Really lovely brunch spot with a great atmosphere ( great interior design!!!)and super friendly staff. The food was excellent. I was about to give it 5 stars! However, when I got the bill, I noticed that the juice I ordered cost €7.50. I didn’t check the price on the menu beforehand (my mistake, I’m sure it was listed), but for a small portion — maybe 0.4L — I found that a bit too expensive. That’s the only reason I’m giving 4 stars instead of 5. Otherwise, a great place I’d still recommend!

Super delicious breakfast and prepared with attention to detail. The selection is very extensive and the portions are large. From savory to sweet, everything is there. The service was very friendly, quick and accommodating, even though it was very busy. Another plus point: There are plenty of outdoor spaces in the sun. Clear recommendation!

We were there for brunch on a Sunday. Honestly – I wouldn’t recommend this place. The poached eggs were actually hard-boiled, and unfortunately the bread and salmon didn't taste particularly good either. The pancakes were overcooked and very dry. The coffee was also disappointing and unfortunately not good. On weekends it is best to reserve at least two weeks in advance. We spontaneously got a place for two people, but after 11 a.m. you hardly have a chance of getting a table.

The food was ok but not particularly good, you can give it 5 stars. There are chives in almost all foods. If you don't like it, you have to let us know in advance. What occurred to me was that the woman said the wrong thing twice when paying 🫠or. more money. If I haven't just seen the amount on the machine, then we will pay >10 euros more. And in the end she still gave more tips in Pos. One time you can say it's a mistake, but several times it's not an oversight🫣🫣🫣

The restaurant is okay. As they themselves stated, the kitchen is small and the wait time is long. But that doesn't excuse the poor and disorganized service. There are too many tables for the small space. Growth and development are part of the business—the staff needs better training. The experience was mediocre. I wouldn't go back.

We had a very disappointing experience at this restaurant. While the food was decent, the service completely ruined our visit. The staff was inattentive, unhelpful, and seemed indifferent to our presence. We had to wait an unreasonably long time just to place our order, and when the food finally arrived, some items were incorrect. Getting the attention of the servers was nearly impossible, and they showed no interest in making things right. To top it off, the overall atmosphere felt unwelcoming. We definitely wouldn’t recommend this place and won’t be returning.

My breakfast was delicious. The place fills up quickly so our table for 2 was accommodated but I've been there with larger groups and been turned away without a reservation.

The waitress forgot a few of our orders, but it wasn't a big deal. She was very friendly, apologized, and gave us a piece of cake on the house. :) The poppy seed cake was veeery delicious!

Super cool and hip café! I went here with my friends for brunch. It's a good idea to make a reservation in advance, as the café gets very busy. My avocado bread with poached egg was a generous portion, and I was full afterward. The prices are normal and reasonable for Munich, and the service is very friendly and fast. Dogs are allowed; if you mention this in your reservation, the staff will even find a quiet corner for your dog!

So I was really looking forward to the delicious carrot cake and wanted to pick one up to take home. But the mini piece that was given to me upside down for €4.90 is really a disgrace.

Brunch Review The food was good, but the bacon was overcooked—more like wood than crispy bacon. If you have weak teeth, be careful! As tourists, we got a table right after opening, but only for an hour. The space was quite cramped due to the close tables and the number of people moving around. It didn’t feel very comfortable.

Super tasty and very large selection. The local is very small, which is why there isn't that much space. However, the outdoor area provides relief in this regard.

Divine with a capital D! My absolute favourite new brunch place! Couldn’t decide what I wanted for the life of me because everything looked and sounded amazing. The Turkish eggs and the (Mexican?) eggs (I forgot the name of I’m so sorry) were stunning. Going back next week because there’s more to try! Edit: went back today and was yet again incredibly happy!! The shakshuka was so tasty and so filling, the kimchi pancakes though, they took the cake, 10/10

Really nice atmosphere and great food

There were two of us, the café was very full, we had to wait a bit for our reserved table because we were there 10 minutes early. Since it was very crowded, very loud atmosphere. Delicious selection of dishes, I had avocado toast with pouched eggs, unfortunately the protein was still extremely slippery.

For us as late risers and all-day breakfast eaters, an absolute highlight in the Glockenbachviertel! The two of us were spontaneously looking for a nice breakfast café around lunchtime on a Friday and happened to come across Madam Anna Ekke. Despite the large number of visitors, we got a table after a few minutes of waiting and were quickly served in a very friendly manner. The hot drinks are large and reasonably priced, and we were absolutely thrilled with the food. We had the poor knight with fresh berries and the hummus brekkie. Both were fantastic, large portions and absolutely delicious. The map invites you to eat your way through. Lots of sweet and savory options, there is something for every taste. The atmosphere in the café is also very cozy. Everything is clean, there was enough staff and we felt completely comfortable :) thank you, dear Madam Anna Ekke team! We'll definitely be back :)

+ Big portions, good food, good poached eggs, tasty sugarless chai latte, the food came quickly - the bread was a bit too thick for my liking and the crust was a bit hard to cut and chew, the chai latte came out with 1-2 clumps of powder. Overall, very good breakfast experience, would go again.

Here's a really good tip for delicious Spanish tapas! Despite a full reservation, we were lucky and were able to get a table after a 5-minute wait. The service is very friendly and extremely attentive. The food was really tasty, especially the goat cheese was great! The bread and aioli went great as a side dish. For dessert there was a Creme Catalana, which tasted good but tasted more like vanilla pudding. The restaurant is fully recommended!

We wanted to have breakfast here on a Sunday without a reservation and were very pleasantly surprised. Despite the full house, we only had a short wait to get a table because the staff were still carrying out chairs and tables. The food was also phenomenal, every breakfast fan will get their money's worth here - whether sweet or savory.

I was invited here as a surprise for my birthday by my loved ones. The ambience is quite nice. Small and cozy. It was reserved in advance and that is also highly recommended. We were seated at the table near the counter - which was a bit challenging at times because the people from the next table to the left had almost their jackets in our food. The food/tapas tasted fantastic and the drinks were also very good. Due to the number of small offers, you will of course arrive at a certain price. Sometimes we ordered the same dishes again if they were particularly good. We will come back.

The service was absolutely disastrous! The employee with glasses, dark hair and a strong build behaved in an impossible way: she shouted at us behind the counter - even though we were shopping there! Such audacity is unacceptable. That was on December 8th, and whoever knows this person should seriously consider quitting. Such behavior is an absolute no-go! That was the worst experience I've ever had.

I had the misfortune of visiting Madame Anna Ekke in Munich and it was a disastrous experience. The hygiene left a lot to be desired; the tables were dirty and the toilets were in an unacceptable condition. The food was disappointing - the shakshuka was bland and cold, and the portions were far too small for the price. To make matters worse, I had to wait over 45 minutes for my breakfast even though the cafe wasn't even full. I can't recommend this cafe to anyone who values ​​cleanliness and good food.
