Very hospitable and warm hospitality made us feel very comfortable! The food tastes excellent and there is something for everyone! The restaurant was very busy, a reservation is recommended and definitely worth it. Will definitely come back soon, thank you and keep it up!

We are regular guests at Khana Khazana and love the Indian food there. I try my hand across the menu while my wife usually chooses the Dal Makhani, accompanied by a lassi with mango or coconut pineapple. Highly recommended! Accompanied by the very friendly staff, the visit is always worthwhile.

A great Indian restaurant. The excellent food, the friendly service and the pleasant atmosphere certainly made the visit something special. The fact that attention was paid to details such as hot plates to keep the food warm is a nice extra. Little touches like this often contribute to a completely successful experience, especially when traveling as a family.

Ausgezeichnete authentische indische Küche mit aufmerksamen und sorgfältigem Service. Die Gerichte sind mit vielfältigen indischen Gewürzen und man kann den Schärfegrad selber wählen.

It was super tasty. We took 6 different dishes with rice and Narn-Galic, everything was super delicious. I love chicken with spinach or butter chicken and the mango chicken was great. We'll be back🥰💃👍

The location is great, in the middle of Lindau's old town. The food tastes wonderful and the service is excellent! I am now a regular customer and can only recommend everyone to eat there, you won't be disappointed.

When the waiter says to you: I don't run several times... while serving is part of his job description for his guests, then I'm at a loss for words in this restaurant.

Biryani and Butter Chicken are delicious. Only cash is accepted and the tables are a little small

Super Service und total leckeres Essen. Wir hatten uns für die Vorspeisen für 2Personen entschieden, mit Fleisch. Erwartet hatten wir etwas anderes aber das angerichtete Fleisch war richtig lecker. Das Hauptgericht wurde ebenfalls ein e Platte für 2….das hat für uns die Vorspeise noch übertrumpft. Verschiedene Töpfchen mit verschiedensten Leckereien. Zum Glück mit unterschiedlichen Schärfen.

The food was good, but very disappointing that classic meat dishes are not offered in a vegan/vegetarian form... Vegan tandoori chicken made from tofu/soy meat, or vindaloo or vegan butter chicken... — unfortunately none, very disappointing in 2024 , in such a touristy city. The staff was also super absent and they forgot about us... You can't even pay with a debit card.

Wat een heerlijk eten! Gezellig share dining met verschillende vlees- en groentengerechten. Hondje was ook welkom. Gastvrij personeel.

The restaurant offers delicious and aromatic food that impresses. Particularly noteworthy is the Goan curry with shrimps, which was described as spicy. While it was spicier than the other dishes, it didn't quite reach the level of the same dish in Goa. The service was always nice and helpful, which made the stay very pleasant. In addition, the prices are fair and make the restaurant a good value choice. Overall, a recommended address for lovers of Indian cuisine. The only drawback: no card payment possible.

There were 3 of us and we had mung negiri...palak breadcrumbs and then something vegetarian with coconut, which was by far the tastiest thing I've ever eaten from an Indian restaurant. So if all the other things are anywhere near as good as our food then you can fully recommend this restaurant. Nice little restaurant, food is good, portions are large, for me the only big minus is that they only accept cash, which nowadays is a no go, I don't want to waste time finding an 🏧, or carry cash with me ( which can be lost + pay ATM fees to get cash) hopefully one day cash will be history. Would add one more ⭐ if the card/contactless payments would be accepted.

Nice place to dine in. The people were very nice to customers and the food was very delicious.

I am always spoiled by the cuisine of this restaurant in a narrow alley in Lindau's old town. Although the lake naturally tempts with its view, the temptation of this delicious cuisine is more impressive, so you sit in the old town instead of on the shore. The soft seat cushions are very comfortable - also for the back - outdoors. The guests can sit comfortably and do not have to sit on the hard wood of the chairs - as is often the case in restaurants. This keeps you relaxed and the planned time just for eating turned into 3 hours :). I also find it very comfortable inside. I really enjoy coming back here!

Wir durften einen tollen Abend im Khana Khazana verbringen. Das vegetarische Thali war sehr lecker. Der Service war sehr zuvorkommend. Wenn es etwas negatives zu berichten gibt, dann der Zwang zur Barzahlung. Das ist einfach nicht mehr zeitgemäss und sollte einem vor allem am Anfang mitgeteilt werden.

Best Indian restaurant in Lindau and the surrounding area. Great location on the island in the Grub. Be sure to reserve. It's just a shame that they usually only accept cash and not cards. Food recommendation: Taj Thali :)

I had the pleasure of eating at this wonderful Indian restaurant recently and loved the experience. The atmosphere was cozy and inviting, and the service was attentive and friendly. The food was absolutely delicious, from the starters to the main course. We were particularly impressed by the sweet dessert that was served as a birthday present for my mother-in-law. It was perfectly prepared and rounded off the whole culinary experience wonderfully. My mother-in-law was overjoyed and felt very honored. Many thanks to the entire team for the excellent service and fantastic food. I'll definitely come back.

We ordered Gobi manchurian here! It was really good but the panner butter masala was bad! I feel it was made out of pesto. The waiter told it’s some masala but it was tasting so so salty! I wouldn’t try any north Indian food here anymore

Incredibly good Indian food, the warming plate meant the food was always warm. The naan and the bread in general were amazing, we have never eaten such delicious Indian bread. The service is friendly and attentive and will be happy to explain something about the individual dishes if asked. Unfortunately, we are only on Lake Constance as “vacationers”, but we didn’t take the opportunity to enjoy two out of five dinners there during our holiday because we simply enjoyed it too much.

Excellent palak paneer, you just have to try it. Reservations are almost mandatory as this restaurant is very busy

A true gem! The food is absolutely delicious and they made it spicy as per my request. I had the vegetarian thali and I got a good mix of palak paneer (spinach with cheese), Aloo Gobi sabji (potato cauliflower curry) and chana masala (chickpea curry). Along with this I had some raita, salad, and rice and naan as accompaniment. The service was also amazing! The servers were kind, helpful and really took care of us. Reservation is absolutely recommended to visit in evenings. I will come back again :)

The place serves nice Indian food in Lindau. Looks like it is run by a family. Place is kind of cozy, but in the central location Preparations are authentic and staff is reasonable. Prices are fair too. Offers both dine-in and take away. Please be aware that last time I visited, it was accepting only cash and no cards. Parking is also slightly challenging due to its location.

Worst chilli chicken, tastes like chicken served with tomato sauce. One star is for chicken biryani.

Very well-kept, cozy restaurant with crisp white tablecloths, a bit holey, but clean and ironed. Very friendly staff, you even get a napkin put on your lap. We enjoyed the food very much, but there was a lot of sauce in the bowl with little meat. It was still delicious and we would happily recommend it! Prices are also reasonable and affordable.

Had lunch here. It was a complete success. The food was very good and the service was extremely friendly and attentive. When we are back at Park Camping Lindau, we will definitely come back.

Highly recommended! A really good Indian restaurant with a wide range of delicious dishes and friendly, very professional staff. There were three of us there and we ordered different starters and main courses. Everything we got was very well cooked and had just the right portion size. Kudos to the kitchen! We would be happy to come back and would be happy to recommend the restaurant. However, I have one suggestion for improvement: the restaurant should offer a delivery service in Lindau, where there is hardly anything available other than pizza.

Small Indian place with delicious cuisine. As usual for Indian restaurants, the menu is far too large but there is a relatively large vegetarian selection. It is also very authentically Indian.

Realistically speaking, the taste and appearance of the food are fine for an undemanding lunch break. Service was ok. Ambiance - we sat on a broken corner bench, ate at shaking tables and next to dirty walls.

Alles war einfach nur Top. Etwas kleines gibt es zu bemängeln, Tischtücher die Löcher haben und teilweise verrissen sind, finde ich nicht in Ordnung, darum nur 4 Sterne beim Ambiente. Wir kommen trotzdem sehr gerne wieder und empfehlen euch weiter!

We stayed in Lindau over Christmas and Newyears Eve. During that time a lot of Restaurant in Lindau were closed. We decided to have a dinner in the Khana Khazana, a place we know from earlier trips. Once more the food was just great. Everything was tasty, the service was friendly and fast. The restaurant was fully booked. Don't miss a reservation.

The food is very mild compared to authentic Indian food... it is not bad but do not expect anything spicy. Also beware that they wont accept payment by card (but Im guessing that is just because they didnt like the look of me...)

Mit das Beste was ich in meinem Leben gegessen habe. Das Mango Lamm ist der absolute Hammer. In der Soße könnte ich schwimmen :) Ambiente ist sehr schön, vor allem die im Hintergrund laufende indische Musik... da bekommt man gleich noch mal einen ganz anderen Flaire. Der Service ist außergewöhnlich. Sehr netter und hilfsbereiter Service. Wir wurden öfters gefragt ob alles gut ist und uns wurde sogar nochmal Reis angeboten. Ist nicht selbstverständlich Ich kanns absolut weiterempfehlen. Sehr gutes Restaurant

Dość drogo jak za takie jedzenie i porcje. Miejsce wymaga na pewno odświeżenia i porządnego posprzątania. Obsługa pozostawiała również wiele do życzenia, długo musieliśmy czekać, az ktokolwiek do nas podejdzie i odbierze zamówienie mimo, że nie było dużo ludzi na sali. Nic specjalnego.. są o wiele wiele wiele lepsze miejsca od tego. Na pewno tam nie wrócimy.

Nur Bargeld Waren ca. Mitte November 2023 zum Mittagessen dort. Essen war ok, der Service freundlich, doch als es an das Bezahlen ging, hiess es (und es stand auch auf der Rechnung), dass nur Bargeld akzeptiert wird. Bei Google heisst es, dass alle Karten akzeptiert würden und aussen am Restaurant war auch nichts angebracht. Erst nachdem wir belegen konnten, dass wir nicht ausreichend Bargeld mit dabeihaben, hat es 5 Minuten gedauert, bis man zurück mit einem Kartenlesegerät kam. Gäste am Nebentisch waren ebenfalls überrascht, dass nur Bargeld genommen wird und fanden es, wie wir auch, nicht zeitgemäss, zumal es keine Beträge im Bereich des "Brötchen kaufen" sind

Klein und versteckt auf der Insel. Hier gibt's das beste Spezialnaan, dass ich je gegessen hab. Würzig und locker, super 👍

Nichts besonderes. Die Speisen recht wässrig und recht fad. Bin nicht so begeistert, wie manch andere hier. Schade.
