The food was good. However, I was disappointed with the packaging of the leftovers, as they didn't wrap the actual leftovers we had on the table, namely paneer butter masala. They also charged us a fee for it, which we then had to throw away.

Chicken Dosa and Butter Chicken were really delicious

I really have nothing to complain about, everything was great: food, service, atmosphere! I persuaded my very conservative father to go for something other than schnitzel and knuckle of pork. But he doesn't like rice. In the end, he got seconds of rice and wanted to try some of my and Mom's food too. That says a lot, I think. Really delicious food!

We received a friendly welcome and were allowed to choose our own table. Afterward, we had to wait a bit for the menus, but the drinks arrived promptly, as did the large appetizer platter for two – which was a real highlight! We'd especially like to praise the fantastic taste of the dishes – everything was aromatic, fresh, and prepared with love. The mango lassi was also very tasty, if a bit too sweet for our taste. The portions are extremely generous – so generous that we (along with our friends) had no room left for the main courses after the appetizer and had to have most of it packed. The to-go boxes were sealed, which speaks for hygiene, but it would have been nice if they had been packed at the table – when we opened them at home, we unfortunately noticed that a few small items were missing. One major drawback: card payments are not possible, which is hard to understand these days and definitely needs to be improved. Conclusion: Top-notch taste, generous portions, and friendly service – with a few minor organizational hiccups. If you like well-seasoned cuisine and an authentic street food vibe, this is the place for you.

We had an absolutely amazing lunch here during the yoga festival! We ordered the Butter Chicken and Teriyaki Chicken, and both dishes were bursting with flavor – rich, aromatic, and perfectly cooked. The Masala Chai was the perfect finishing touch – warm, comforting, and authentically spiced. The atmosphere was so welcoming, and the staff made us feel right good. Unfortunately, by the evening the place was full, and we couldn’t get a table. The owner kindly recommended another spot run by his uncle, but sadly, the vibe there was completely different – they were not kind to us at all. So we came back here – and thank goodness we did! The food once again did not disappoint. Sometimes, you just know when a place has heart – and this one truly does. Highly recommended!

I had dinner here with my husband and three young children. The waiters were very attentive, and the waiter who took our order was very knowledgeable and understood what we needed when I asked for gluten-free items from the menu. Everything was delicious. We left very satisfied. I hope we can return!

Honestly, this was one of the best Dosa I have eaten since we were living in India, beautifully light and crisp, filled with elegantly spiced masala potato and served with perfect pickles and sambal. The paneer was pretty good as well, but that dosa. Heaven! I wasn't surprised when I found out while chatting with our charming waiter that one of the chefs hails from Kerala, the home of the dosa. The restaurant scores well on other counts as well, Service was friendly and efficient, and the inside space where we ate, no outside tables being available, was comfortable and attractive. We stumbled upon this Indian restaurant while finding our way back to our car parked near the casino at Lindau. We were pleasantly surprised by the warmth and impressive service.the interiors are done up beautifully. The food is excellent and very friendly staff added to the positives. Very good food. Unfortunately, it's always extremely busy. Many guests wait at the entrance without reservations. They frantically try to free up a table. We would have liked to order dessert, but unfortunately, that didn't happen. We were asked to pay. Unfortunately, this wasn't how we planned the evening. The priority here is to make quick sales.

The hotel review was good, so we thought to try the food here ... I don't know whether my friend and I ordered the wrong items, both tasted terrible...I ordered the Starter Platter, it had onion pakora ( which is not even appropriately cooked and completely cold ) , Alu bonda ... the alu stuffing doesn't have any masala, looks like that Dosa alu put it in batter and served and again that is also cold ...Only Bhel is edible that to significantly less quantity One samosa divided into 4 piece... I was highly disappointed by the service. First of all, they took 45 minutes to serve the food, and then the cold and unappetizing Ente Curry (they call it a special dish). I was very disappointed and gave them feedback right away... I am truly sorry to say that these comments are misleading. Believe me, I have visited many good Indian restaurants in Germany and throughout Europe. But this is terrible, they invested a lot in the infrsatrsúcture but forgot to get a proper cook, I guess

We were there for dinner: we ordered Chicken Tikka Masala and Butter Chicken. Along with a Cheese Nan and a Garlic Nan. The food was excellent, and the staff was very attentive and friendly. I asked for three dips for the Nans – they were on the house! I can only highly recommend it!

Namaste, after our 100km bike ride, our stomachs were screaming for nutrient absorption, meaning we needed to consume macro- and micronutrients to avoid collapsing. This restaurant surpassed all others, which is why we chose it after thorough internet research. The service is first-class: we were greeted and farewelled with a friendly "Namaste." The only thing I would rate as unsatisfactory are the lemonades – unfortunately, they were made with very sweet syrup and not fresh, but it's mainly about the food, and it was outstanding. When we didn't like something about a dish, a new plate was immediately brought to us, and we also got dessert on the house. For me, it was the perfect spiciness. My boyfriend has German blood flowing through his veins, and despite the spiciness, he ate the food with abandon. After paying, we were given something sweet to nibble on with spices – similar to licorice in taste. In summary, it was a wonderful experience for my palate, which was able to taste culinary novelties. The next day, we cycled at twice the speed, thanks to the invigorating spiced cuisine. Namaste

We came with my wife. The person who welcomes you is not nice, my dish that I had ordered did not come (tikka massala) and my wife's dish was not good. In addition to scamming tourists, they also scam the country (cash only) to pay

I had a very disappointing experience at this restuarant last month. The staff, particularly one gentleman with a turban and beard, was extremely rude. Despite the card payment system being operational, they insisted on cash payments, which raises concerns about potential tax evasion. Additionally, this particular staff member seemed to exhibit discriminatory behavior towards Indian customers. I believe many others from the Indian community may have faced similar treatment.

I would prefer to give less than one star if possible. Street Khazana has changed a lot, and unfortunately not for the better. While some staff are friendly, there are serious issues with management and dealing with guests. The owner always seems irritable and unhospitable, which negatively affects the restaurant experience. Particularly disturbing is the practice of forcing guests to pay in cash, which raises questions about transparency. The behavior towards non-German guests is even more problematic - there are clear signs of unequal treatment, particularly from an employee with a long beard who behaves particularly disrespectfully towards Indian guests. The greeting at the entrance seems dishonest and purely business-oriented. You don't feel welcome, just like a paying customer. The restaurant used to be better, but as its success has increased, so has its arrogance. It is disappointing to see how a once hospitable place can become so negative. Good food is not enough - respect and fair treatment of guests are crucial for a positive experience. Unfortunately, I absolutely cannot recommend Street Khazana under these circumstances.

We ate here on Easter Sunday. The staff was super friendly, the service was very good and the food came very quickly. The menu is very diverse and the atmosphere is very nice. Both the starter and the main course were incredibly tasty and large portions. We would definitely recommend it!

We ate here for the first time as a family today. The restaurant is very stylishly decorated, the menu is partly South Indian and North Indian. We were very hungry and ordered dosas and North Indian dishes. The food was served hot and the service was extremely friendly. In terms of taste, the food is a 10/10 and absolutely recommended, very authentic! We would love to come back. Kind regards to the whole team🙏🏽

After Khazana's main restaurant in the Grub is temporarily closed, we had dinner at the "Street" branch and were once again very satisfied. Excellent food and very friendly staff who don't forget to smile even in a busy shop. The menu is a little different than in the main building, some dishes are only available here or there. We would definitely like to come back. It would be perfect if the restaurant also offered a delivery service!

Outdoor seating: We had the pleasure of enjoying our lunch in the sun while sitting outdoors. Food: Mango lassi was the one of the best I have had in a restaurant. Dal makhani was delicious and naan was super soft and perfect. However, they could improve on their south Indian section. The chutneys tasted below average and the white curry thing they served had a bizzare taste. Never tasted something like it before. To summarise: go for the north Indian curries and you won't regret it. Service: Warm, welcoming and friendly. They also offer a cheaper lunch menu from Monday to Friday.

Today was our first time here, and after me, probably our last. On the somewhat positive side, the dishes are quite okay – even if the flavor isn't exactly explosive. Service is a disaster! As a guest, you sit at the table for a while before someone arrives. Even if someone does arrive to take your order, it feels like an eternity until at least the drinks arrive. Even with visibly empty glasses, you're not asked if you'd like anything else or if everything is satisfactory – a basic requirement of good dining. An absolute no-go is when you try to pay by card (the Visa, Mastercard, and EC symbols are emblazoned on the door), you're given a rather half-hearted "cash only today." Inquiries about the possibility of withdrawing money are ignored. So, you might consider a longer walk to get cash from the nearest ATM. Instead of apologizing for the guest's effort and inconvenience, not a word of the sort is said in a good restaurant. Service no thanks - it's a shame that they don't realize that the guest pays the bill here and that they would rather scare away good guests than hire good service staff.

From one week to the next, card payments were suddenly no longer accepted - with varying reasons such as “cash only today” or “the device is broken”, which happens remarkably often. Since card payments worked problem-free in the past, the question arises as to whether tax reasons play a role here. It's a shame because the food was good, but under these circumstances I won't be coming back.

The food was delicious, perfectly spiced, the portions were large and the staff were so gracious - they opened the door for me, they helped me with my coat and were overall attentive to our needs.

I recently visited to this restaurant and wanted to share my experience. So, firstly on arrival of us they did not greeted us properly. After that by ordering food we just asked for some recommendations and he rudely said that we serve all the dishes with Indian teste and would recommend them all. And the shocking was he greeted each and every other customers except us. We still did not why? At the end we asked to pay with card and he insisted us to pay in cash. We denied us to pay in cash as we did not have enough. He left us abruptly. Food was good but served cold. Prices are average. I would not recommend this restaurant at all because of the hospitality. 1/5!
