A great Indian restaurant on Lindau Island. This is the second time I've been there and I can absolutely recommend it. The waiters are extremely friendly, very helpful and on point. The food tastes delicious, is well seasoned and nicely presented. There is a large selection of different dishes and the waiting time is reasonable. The garlic naan bread is highly recommended, there were three of us there and we could have eaten our fill of the mixed starter platter and the naan. :-) There is traditional Indian music (sounds) playing in the background and it had a lot of guests both times I was there. We didn't make a reservation but still got a spot. But it was during the week - I can't judge what the space availability looks like at the weekend. Small points of criticism: - The cutlery jugs on the table don't fit in with the rest of the great Indian ambience and reminded me more of a traditional tavern. - Cash only! The three of us had a bill of a good €100. You have to have enough cash with you. I would be happy to come back... In this sense: namaste :-)

One of the best Indian restaurants I've ever been to. The service is very nice and the ambience is high-class. At dinner we had Tandoori chicken and Chicken Tikka Massala with Garlic Naan. Everything was really good, especially the Garlic Naan, which is why we hardly ate any rice because the Naan was so good. We had reserved in advance, but there were enough free places so you don't necessarily have to call in advance.

A very nice Indian restaurant. The atmosphere is harmonious, the food is really good and tasty, and the service is very friendly. Unfortunately, payment is only possible with cash, which is not very modern and customer-friendly these days.

Unfortunately the service forgot me and didn't serve me. I received the card, but then nothing happened for more than twenty minutes, even after I made my presence known. So I can't say anything about the food. PS it was on a day with very little activity.

Fusion of North and South. Punjab meets Karnataka. The food is undoubtedly delicious. Ample quantity , service is exquisite. They are quite fast and provide help to choose the best food from their menu. If you are in Lindau, visit this restaurant is a must.

The place serves good authentic Indian food in Lindau. Offers best South Indian food you can have in Germany. The owner is a very sweet Punjabi lady and the cook is a South Indian. The staff is also friendly and decent. Reasonable interiors and prices. Difficult to find a parking slot though, due to the buzzing location.

We were very excited about what to expect due to the other recessions. However, we cannot confirm the negative reviews. We got a seat outside without a reservation and were served nicely throughout. The staff was very child friendly and the waiters joked with our son. But what impressed us most was the food. We have rarely eaten such good Indian food. Everything was very tasty and richly seasoned. The butter naan bread was homemade and the best I've ever eaten. Our starters and main courses were also more than convincing. The only thing I see as a point of criticism - in this day and age - is the lack of the option to pay with an EC card.

It doesn't get any better. Simply great in every respect. Always happy at any time!!!

I am aways sceptical to have indian food at restaurants in Europe, but this one was a surprise. Had the best indian food in all of Europe. Had chicken 65, Mysore masala dosa and neer dosa. Loved every morsel of it…

The service is very friendly and the food is freshly prepared. This can sometimes lead to short cottoning times. We really enjoyed the curry chicken and mango chicken. In our opinion, the portions are ideal for having a starter or dessert. The rhubarb and mint spritzer we ordered was extremely tasty and attractively served. We'll definitely come back.

Good service, food was great (garlic naan was extremely good, I've never experienced the selection of dosas (also vegan!!!) in Germany). Absolute recommendation!

A completely normal Indian who does things in South Indian style and wants over €15 for a perfectly normal masala dosa! Not worth the high price!!! In Munich I pay around €12 for an excellent dosa!!! Someone probably wants to enrich themselves by the ignorance of some people about Indian cuisine! Actually a disgrace!!!

Very tasty food. Had crispy Masala Dosa along with tea (Chai). Chutneys were of authentic South Indian taste. A piece of banana leaf below the dosa was a surprise, given that bananas are not grown so much in Germany. Good and quick service.

Loved the food and atmosphere. Surjeet and he family members are quite warm and friendly. Dosa was bit bit crispy , however loved the North Indian vegetarian food & Rasmalai . The Would definitely recommend.

Absolutely delicious food! Rarely have Indian food been so good. Very attentive, friendly staff. The selection on the menu is very diverse and good. Meat eaters, vegetarians and even vegans feel well looked after here. The mango lassi was to die for, the obligatory pakoras were extremely tasty. Papadam is a classic that you have to eat. We found the national dish Dal Makhani particularly tasty. But I don't think you can go wrong with any dish here. That certainly wasn't the last time we were here.

I've been there so many times. I have tried North Indian and South Indian dishes. I really like their Mysore Masala Dosa and Lychee Lassi. They prepared paneer tikka masala for us upon request. Really recommended.

Wirkliche große Portionen die unglaublich gut geschmeckt haben. Mein Mann und ich waren sehr satt und zufrieden. Zartes Hähnchenfleisch in sehr leckerer Sosse mit aromatischem Reis. Sehr nette Bedienung. Kommen auf jeden Fall wieder, wenn wir mal wieder in Lindau sind.

Wow, das war wirklich das beste indische Essen, das wir je gegessen haben! Wir haben uns vom ersten bis zum letzten Moment sehr wohl gefühlt, da das Personal sehr freundlich, sympathisch und zuvorkommend ist. Uns wurde sogar beim Verlassen des Restaurants die Tür aufgehalten. Wir kommen gerne wieder und empfehlen das Restaurant auf jeden Fall weiter ✨

Leckeres indisches Essen - zum Teil sind spannende Gerichte auf der Speisekarte die man so anderswo nicht bekommt. Einrichtung und Beleuchtung sind hier geschmackvoll, nicht kitschig (wie sonst häufig in indischen Restaurants der Fall). Wir haben hier für gegessen und wurden zuvorkommend bedient - wir kommen gerne wieder.

Wir waren heute als Urlauber in diesem Indischen Restaurant. Bereits wenn man hinein kommt, riecht es sehr lecker. Wir wurden sehr freundlich empfangen, unsere Jacken wurden uns abgenommen. Das Ambiente ist sehr liebevoll eingerichtet. Das Essen kam sehr zügig und war sehr lecker. Das Nanbrot mit Knoblauch ist nur zu empfehlen.

Super gute Speisen, freundliches Personal, nettes Restaurant. Alles bestens und wir kommen wieder.

Dieses Restaurant braucht keine Rezension, wenn ich mehr Sterne geben könnte würde ich das. Ich würde auch einen Michelin Stern geben. Bin hier zum ersten Mal, kenne mich gut aus mit indischem Essen im allgemeinen. Dieses Essen ist vom Profi. Hier wissen sie was sie tun. Ich schreibe das noch bevor ich mit dem Essen fertig bin. I had ordered take out as this place is not bad for Indian food, I am from Asia. BE CAREFUL (1) to check how much you owe (2) COUNT the cash change, I found out EUR10.00 was missing and requested it back "nice try" I commented to the waiter. I shared this with my friend, it is stated it happened to her once as well here.

Wir waren das erste Mal hier. In England habe ich viel indisch gegessen. Was immer sehr gut war. Trotzdem ich sehr verwöhnt bin war ich positiv überrascht. Sehr umfangreiche Karte. Am Ende haben wir uns für ein Lamm Curry und ein Hähnchen Curry entschieden. Dazu Reis und Knoblauchbrot. Wir waren sehr zufrieden. Das nächste Mal mache ich auch einige Bilder.

Das Essen war super, die Bedienung sehr freundlich. Die Tischnachbarn kann man sich leider nicht aussuchen, daher wäre etwas mehr Abstand zum nächsten Tisch toll. Abholungen funktionieren einwandfrei, aber bitte immer ans Bargeld denken, da Kartenzahlung nicht möglich ist.

Excellentes indisches Essen in großer Auswahl

Diese Restaurant ist offenbar ein Ableger des Khazana, welches seit vielen Jahren in der Grub ist. Auch dieser Ableger kann mit gutem Essen und Service überzeugen. Besondere die Tandoori-Gerichte und die Currys sind exzellent.

Sehr leckere indische Gerichte, die man in den herkömmlichen indischen Restaurants so nicht serviert bekommt. Schönes Geschirr, Stofftischdecke, aufmerksamer Service, große Auswahl an sehr besonderen , vielen vegetarischen Gerichten, z.B. Hauchdünne knusprige Fladen gefüllt mit Kartoffel-Gemüse, eine Art Quiche mit Gemüse belegt...unbedingt einen Besuch wert!!!

Bestes indisches Essen seit Jahren. Ich war selbst viel in Indien unterwegs und habe auch deshalb gewisse Ansprüche. Und die wurden mehr als erfüllt. Es war ausgesprochen schmackhaft und abwechslungsreich. Der gemischte Vorspreisenteller, ein Traum. Und dazu noch sehr dekorativ arrangiert. Aber auch die Dosas - richtig lecker! Als Vegetarierin bin ich oftmals schon froh zwei Gerichte zur Auswahl zu haben. Hier wußte ich gar nicht, was ich von all den tollen Möglichkeiten bestellen sollte. Und der Service war sehr aufmerksam und freundlich. Es gibt nichts, aber auch gar nichts auszusetzen... Wir kommen ganz sicherlich öfters !

The restaurant did not indicate anywhere on the menu or windows, etc. that they only would accept cash. The owner was rude and demanded that we use his ATM machine, which we found odd. I ended up walking back to our hotel to get euros while my husband stayed seated at the table. The owner kept his gaze on my husband as if he was going to bolt and skip out on the bill. It's unfortunate that the owner was so disagreeable. Ruined our dining experience that evening.

Es gibt zwar auch nordindische Spezialitäten, aber der Clou sind solche Köstlichkeiten wie Idlis und Dosa aus dem Süden. Atmosphäre: Die Einrichtung ist typisch, im Hintergrund spielt die obligatorische indische Musik, die Tische stehen so, dass man reichlich Platz hat. Der Service ist sehr freundlich und schnell. Die Speisekarte ist sehr vielfältig, und für Gäste, für die indisches Essen noch nicht vertraut ist, sind die Markierungen über die Schärfe des Essens sehr hilfreich. Das Essen ist ausgesprochen schmackhaft, raffiniert gewürzt und optisch ansprechend präsentiert. Alles in allem hat es uns so gut geschmeckt, dass wir innerhalb einer Woche drei Mal dort gegessen haben. Dabei haben wir sehr unterschiedliche Gerichte bestellt, die unsere Erwartungen nicht nur erfüllt, sondern übertroffen haben.
