Very delicious food and friendly service. We will definitely be back again! There's a threshold at the entrance that's about 10 cm high. To the right, there are some tables that are wheelchair accessible; be sure to request this when making a reservation! To the left, there's a section accessible via a steep ramp. The restrooms are also located there. Unfortunately, there is no accessible restroom. However, that would be complicated in such an old building. There are several accessible parking spaces on the island. There is a public accessible restroom at the P4 parking garage.

One of the best Indian meals we've ever had, and the servers are very attentive. One point deducted because they didn't have everything advertised on the flyers outside.

The staff seemed unfriendly; we had to wait a long time, whether for the menus, drinks, food, or to pay. It seemed as if card payments were reluctant, and only German debit cards were accepted. The ambiance is so-so; the cold lighting at the large table is a disaster. It's a shame; the food was very good, and we would come more often if the service were better.

A very nice typical Indian restaurant with a good selection of North and South Indian dishes. The price level is Lake Constance/Lindau, but the guest already knows that in advance. Nice, courteous service rounds it off. My Indian guests also really enjoyed the food and ambience. Recommended.

The food stands out here - it is very hard to find better indian food in this region than Street Khazana. The quality of ingredients is high and the dishes packed with flavor. The extensive menu covers far more than the familiar curries, so there is a great choice of options from the heavy and meaty to light and fresh. Allergens and Halal are marked beside each dish as appropriate. The drinks menu even includes Indian wine. Street Khazana is extremely popular, so a reservation is always a good idea. By 18:30 on a Saturday, there is a steady stream of people being turned away. The team was efficient, especially considering how full the place gets.

The food was good. However, I was disappointed with the packaging of the leftovers, as they didn't wrap the actual leftovers we had on the table, namely paneer butter masala. They also charged us a fee for it, which we then had to throw away.

I really have nothing to complain about, everything was great: food, service, atmosphere! I persuaded my very conservative father to go for something other than schnitzel and knuckle of pork. But he doesn't like rice. In the end, he got seconds of rice and wanted to try some of my and Mom's food too. That says a lot, I think. Really delicious food!

We received a friendly welcome and were allowed to choose our own table. Afterward, we had to wait a bit for the menus, but the drinks arrived promptly, as did the large appetizer platter for two – which was a real highlight! We'd especially like to praise the fantastic taste of the dishes – everything was aromatic, fresh, and prepared with love. The mango lassi was also very tasty, if a bit too sweet for our taste. The portions are extremely generous – so generous that we (along with our friends) had no room left for the main courses after the appetizer and had to have most of it packed. The to-go boxes were sealed, which speaks for hygiene, but it would have been nice if they had been packed at the table – when we opened them at home, we unfortunately noticed that a few small items were missing. One major drawback: card payments are not possible, which is hard to understand these days and definitely needs to be improved. Conclusion: Top-notch taste, generous portions, and friendly service – with a few minor organizational hiccups. If you like well-seasoned cuisine and an authentic street food vibe, this is the place for you.

We had an absolutely amazing lunch here during the yoga festival! We ordered the Butter Chicken and Teriyaki Chicken, and both dishes were bursting with flavor – rich, aromatic, and perfectly cooked. The Masala Chai was the perfect finishing touch – warm, comforting, and authentically spiced. The atmosphere was so welcoming, and the staff made us feel right good. Unfortunately, by the evening the place was full, and we couldn’t get a table. The owner kindly recommended another spot run by his uncle, but sadly, the vibe there was completely different – they were not kind to us at all. So we came back here – and thank goodness we did! The food once again did not disappoint. Sometimes, you just know when a place has heart – and this one truly does. Highly recommended!

I had dinner here with my husband and three young children. The waiters were very attentive, and the waiter who took our order was very knowledgeable and understood what we needed when I asked for gluten-free items from the menu. Everything was delicious. We left very satisfied. I hope we can return!

I was very surprised by the authenticity of the food. The dosa with chutney and sambar was superb. The chicken ghee roast was quite good too. While the chicken was a bit overcooked the gravy was perfect. Overall, if you're in the area this is the place to go for Indian food!

After a long and tiring day, my boyfriend and I were very hungry. Unfortunately, all the restaurants turned us away, saying they were closing early! Much to our dismay. Then we found Street Khazana. We asked if it was still possible to dine there. Even though they were already closed, we received a very warm welcome and a delicious dinner. It was fantastic. The restaurant is run by an Indian family who have been in the business for over 17 years. The clue to its authenticity were the Dosa on the menu - you won't find these in most 'Indian' restaurants, which are typically run by Bengalis (and non-the worst for it may I add) - and of course I had to have one, while my wife settled for Paneer Makhani. Honestly, this was one of the best Dosa I have eaten since we were living in India, beautifully light and crisp, filled with elegantly spiced masala potato and served with perfect pickles and sambal. The paneer was pretty good as well, but that dosa. Heaven! I wasn't surprised when I found out while chatting with our charming waiter that one of the chefs hails from Kerala, the home of the dosa. The restaurant scores well on other counts as well, Service was friendly and efficient, and the inside space where we ate, no outside tables being available, was comfortable and attractive. If you are visiting the old town of Lindau, and why wouldn't you if you are in the area, then you could do far worse than to eat at this little gem. Highly recommended!

We stumbled upon this Indian restaurant while finding our way back to our car parked near the casino at Lindau. We were pleasantly surprised by the warmth and impressive service.the interiors are done up beautifully. The food is excellent and very friendly staff added to the positives. Would definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone in the area. Best part they are pet friendly🙂

Very good food. Unfortunately, it's always extremely busy. Many guests wait at the entrance without reservations. They frantically try to free up a table. We would have liked to order dessert, but unfortunately, that didn't happen. We were asked to pay. Unfortunately, this wasn't how we planned the evening. The priority here is to make quick sales.

The hotel review was good, so we thought to try the food here ... I don't know whether my friend and I ordered the wrong items, both tasted terrible...I ordered the Starter Platter, it had onion pakora ( which is not even appropriately cooked and completely cold ) , Alu bonda ... the alu stuffing doesn't have any masala, looks like that Dosa alu put it in batter and served and again that is also cold ...Only Bhel is edible that to significantly less quantity One samosa divided into 4 piece... I was highly disappointed by the service. First of all, they took 45 minutes to serve the food, and then the cold and unappetizing Ente Curry (they call it a special dish). I was very disappointed and gave them feedback right away... I am truly sorry to say that these comments are misleading. Believe me, I have visited many good Indian restaurants in Germany and throughout Europe. But this is terrible, they invested a lot in the infrsatrsúcture but forgot to get a proper cook, I guess

Namaste, after our 100km bike ride, our stomachs were screaming for nutrient absorption, meaning we needed to consume macro- and micronutrients to avoid collapsing. This restaurant surpassed all others, which is why we chose it after thorough internet research. The service is first-class: we were greeted and farewelled with a friendly "Namaste." The only thing I would rate as unsatisfactory are the lemonades – unfortunately, they were made with very sweet syrup and not fresh, but it's mainly about the food, and it was outstanding. When we didn't like something about a dish, a new plate was immediately brought to us, and we also got dessert on the house. For me, it was the perfect spiciness. My boyfriend has German blood flowing through his veins, and despite the spiciness, he ate the food with abandon. After paying, we were given something sweet to nibble on with spices – similar to licorice in taste. In summary, it was a wonderful experience for my palate, which was able to taste culinary novelties. The next day, we cycled at twice the speed, thanks to the invigorating spiced cuisine. Namaste

We were there for dinner: we ordered Chicken Tikka Masala and Butter Chicken. Along with a Cheese Nan and a Garlic Nan. The food was excellent, and the staff was very attentive and friendly. I asked for three dips for the Nans – they were on the house! I can only highly recommend it!

Phenomenally good cuisine, super friendly and, above all, attentive service. Nothing too spicy, nothing too mild, excellent unique spices, fresh ingredients, you feel very healthy and happy after a visit here. The portions were just right to fill you up well. Not too little nor too much. Terrific. Price performance fits wonderfully. Please stay like that.

I had a very disappointing experience at this restuarant last month. The staff, particularly one gentleman with a turban and beard, was extremely rude. Despite the card payment system being operational, they insisted on cash payments, which raises concerns about potential tax evasion. Additionally, this particular staff member seemed to exhibit discriminatory behavior towards Indian customers. I believe many others from the Indian community may have faced similar treatment.

I would prefer to give less than one star if possible. Street Khazana has changed a lot, and unfortunately not for the better. While some staff are friendly, there are serious issues with management and dealing with guests. The owner always seems irritable and unhospitable, which negatively affects the restaurant experience. Particularly disturbing is the practice of forcing guests to pay in cash, which raises questions about transparency. The behavior towards non-German guests is even more problematic - there are clear signs of unequal treatment, particularly from an employee with a long beard who behaves particularly disrespectfully towards Indian guests. The greeting at the entrance seems dishonest and purely business-oriented. You don't feel welcome, just like a paying customer. The restaurant used to be better, but as its success has increased, so has its arrogance. It is disappointing to see how a once hospitable place can become so negative. Good food is not enough - respect and fair treatment of guests are crucial for a positive experience. Unfortunately, I absolutely cannot recommend Street Khazana under these circumstances.

I'm not an expert on Indian food, but to my taste this is one of the best restaurants I've been. They have another one down the street, which I originally intended to go but it was closed, so I decided to give this one a try and I didn't regret it. Prices are fair.

We ate here on Easter Sunday. The staff was super friendly, the service was very good and the food came very quickly. The menu is very diverse and the atmosphere is very nice. Both the starter and the main course were incredibly tasty and large portions. We would definitely recommend it!

We ate here for the first time as a family today. The restaurant is very stylishly decorated, the menu is partly South Indian and North Indian. We were very hungry and ordered dosas and North Indian dishes. The food was served hot and the service was extremely friendly. After Khazana's main restaurant in the Grub is temporarily closed, we had dinner at the "Street" branch and were once again very satisfied. Excellent food and very friendly staff who don't forget to smile even in a busy shop. The menu is a little different than in the main building, some dishes are only available here or there. We would definitely like to come back. It would be perfect if the restaurant also offered a delivery service!

First of all, the positive thing is that the price increase is limited, 1 euro is ok. That was my first thought. Unfortunately, when you eat it, you notice that both the quantity and the quality of the chicken meat have decreased... Last year I would have given you 5 stars, but only 3 stars. Outdoor seating: We had the pleasure of enjoying our lunch in the sun while sitting outdoors. Food: Mango lassi was the one of the best I have had in a restaurant. Dal makhani was delicious and naan was super soft and perfect. However, they could improve on their south Indian section. The chutneys tasted below average and the white curry thing they served had a bizzare taste. Never tasted something like it before. To summarise: go for the north Indian curries and you won't regret it. Service: Warm, welcoming and friendly. They also offer a cheaper lunch menu from Monday to Friday.
