Extremely disappointing - unfortunately not a pleasant experience We visited La Taverna as a family to celebrate my mother-in-law's birthday. Unfortunately, our impression after the visit was entirely disappointing. The restaurant itself seems charming at first glance - small but stylishly furnished. But unfortunately this is more appearance than reality. The first negative impression started with the service. When we ordered, the waiter gave us the impression that we were unwanted - annoyed, bored and without any friendliness. At first we found his monotone and sarcastic manner a bit amusing, for example when he jokingly said after every choice of food: “We didn't have it.” But the longer this went on, the more uncomfortable we felt as guests. The waiting time for the food was acceptable, but the quality of the food left a lot to be desired. The starter - consisting of a salad and a vegetable platter - was heavily soaked in oil and vinegar, completely overpowering the taste. The salad was literally swimming in the marinade and the vegetables seemed anything but fresh. The pizzas tasted okay, but were by no means justified given the high prices. Apparently the ingredients were saved - the remaining toppings seemed to be hidden under a large amount of arugula. The gnocchi and lasagne were also just mediocre. The low point, however, was my mother-in-law's fish dish, which was served with fried broccoli. As soon as she tried the broccoli she felt sick. The other family members also tried it - and agreed: the broccoli tasted old and unpleasant. The fish itself was hardly recognizable as such - visually and in consistency it was more reminiscent of burnt eggplant or a well-done steak. The taste was also inedible. My mother-in-law became sick so she couldn't even begin to finish the plate. When I tried it, I also felt sick and had to spit out the bite. We politely pointed out the deficiencies to the waiter - particularly the spoiled taste of the broccoli and fish. However, the reaction was disappointing: a curt “It’s fresh” – without insight, without apology. He reacted to our further information in a stroppy and didactic manner. Even a simple request for two more drinks was ignored - they weren't served but were still charged on the bill. Conclusion: Our visit to La Taverna was consistently disappointing. Instead of a nice family birthday dinner, we were left with an unpleasant experience with bad food, poor ingredients and unfriendly service. For the prices charged, the quality offered is in no way justified. Unfortunately we cannot recommend this restaurant.

Wir waren heute das erstmal hier und sehr enttäuscht vom Essen war kalt.scharf zum Teil trocken ohne Geschmack. Überhaupt nicht viel Auswahl. Bedienung unfreundlich. Im essen haare. Falsche Getränke wurden gebracht. Beim zahlen wollte bedienung einfach das Geld behalten ohne zu fragen und für sich nehmen.ein Stern ist schon zuviel. Nicht zu empfehlen überteuert.und unfreundlich. Und man wurde nicht satt das es auch nicht geschmeckt hat. Nie wieder!!!!

We ordered table service. The food then sat on the counter for 15 minutes, causing it to get cold. We immediately complained and received a response saying "no table service this late" – but nothing had been deactivated on the machine or in the app! The fries were then replaced in a totally unfriendly and reluctant manner – the burger was still cold and wasn't replaced. We'll also report this to headquarters! This is completely unacceptable.

Apart from dirty cutlery and supposedly fresh glasses with lipstick on the rim, we really enjoy going. The food tastes very good. The terrace is very cozy in summer.

What a letdown... Tortelini alla Panna with turkey ham also ordered parmesan and garlic The Parmesan was regular grated cheese I didn't find the ham in my dish. The sauce looks like a ready-made sauce. It's just a thick mass. Tastes technically OK Unfortunately I couldn't reach anyone on the phone to report this... The pizza bread with tomato and garlic, i.e. the dough is not a pizza dough of garlic, no trace of garlic, but tons of herbs that spoil the taste The whole thing cost around €25 Order somewhere else and save your money

Bad value for money. Service is ok, wines are good. But sorry, €65 per person for a canteen meal, it's not worth it! Decoration was nice but music didn't fit with the theme.

Suddenly everything is 2-3 euros more expensive, 16.50 for butter chicken with bread. It's a damn shame to always pass on all costs to the customer. Previous review has been deleted! That says it all :)

Der Laden ist dicht. Kein Wunder, dass die Gäste ausbleiben. Einmal und nie wieder. Miese Qualität und inkompetenter Service. Dazu noch ziemlich teuer. Ich werde das Lokal nicht vermissen.

Ramen and dumplings. Really fine taste, rich and seasoned very well! Staff very polite!

These are the first very tasty sushi and rolls that I tried in Germany. Beautiful presentation, everything autumn is delicious, the selection of cocktails is not very large, but I liked them. I recommend the place. There is also a playground nearby where children can play and can be seen from the terrace.

The city center is almost always very busy, which leads to longer waiting times and sometimes negligent cleanliness. The food is up to the usual McDonald’s standards, but the cleanliness and service could be better. 3 stars for a solid fast food experience, but with room for improvement.

Delicious food. For the fact that you have to pick it up at the counter and bring dishes to the front, but also relatively high prices. Nice owner couple. Lots of space. Ambience a bit cool and canteen-like. Food ready quickly, but still freshly prepared. Good for lunch break. It's too cold inside in winter.
