I visited this restaurant for the first time on the recommendation of my fellow students.** But the service disappointed us. As soon as we arrived, the waiter immediately demanded that we order drinks, even though we hadn't even had time to sit down at the table. We were there at lunchtime and there was a buffet. Some dishes were extremely greasy and were literally swimming in oil. However, there were also some delicious dishes. I particularly liked that you could choose something and have it freshly prepared. There is a selection of desserts but I have the impression they are from the supermarket. However, the fruit selection was good. Another plus point is the acceptable price for the lunch buffet – €12.90. In the end, however, the visit became very unpleasant: the waiter openly showed his dissatisfaction when paying, didn't answer any of our questions and pointedly ignored us. Afterwards he even walked away laughing mockingly. For this reason, I have no interest in visiting this place again - let alone inviting my mother here for her birthday.

An absolute disappointment, never again! Last week we went to Keio Restaurant with a large group of over 20 people and had reserved in advance. We were looking forward to a relaxing evening with good food, but instead it turned into one of the worst restaurant experiences I've ever had. It started as soon as we arrived: after we sat down, two of our friends had to come a little later due to a traffic jam. Instead of responding with understanding, a waiter simply shouted at us, took a chair away and put it back down with an aggressive attitude. Such behavior is absolutely unprofessional! He could have just politely asked us when our friends were coming instead of being so disrespectful. Then the next disaster came: The waiter took our drink orders, but of the many drinks we ordered, only five arrived. A friend of ours wanted to help distribute the drinks as the table was very large and it would have been easier for the waiter. But instead of accepting help, he shouted at him loudly: “THAT’S NOT YOURS!!!!” - in a tone that you really don't have to put up with as a guest. No gratitude, no politeness, just disrespect. After that he just walked away without saying a word. And if that wasn't bad enough, the rest of the drinks didn't arrive until over an hour later! When asked, they simply said: “The system is wrong, orders cannot be accepted.” An apology? None. Instead, the waiter continued to talk to us unfriendly and made us feel that we were obviously not welcome as guests. The food was also anything but convincing. For a price of over €27 per person, I would have expected that the service would at least be halfway there. Instead we were treated badly, kept waiting for a long time and faced with disastrous organization. This Keio Restaurant may look like a good all-you-can-eat joint, but the service is an absolute disaster. Unfriendly waiters, long waiting times and disrespectful treatment of guests, that was definitely the first and last time I was there.

We had dinner there last week with over 20 friends. The friends came one by one, 15 to 30 minutes apart. A waiter came to us and kept asking in a very unfriendly voice (more like shouting at us): “How many people? How many people?” We answered him but he still continued to shout at us. He then just walked away and later came back to us, yelled at us again and it continued like that until we were finished. He was totally rude and unfriendly! We're definitely not coming back

We have been here several times, the last time was about 2 years ago. Unfortunately, in our opinion, the restaurant has not developed positively. We had made a reservation for three people, but because there was such a rush we had to wait 20 minutes until we were at our table. After another 10 minutes, our service staff greeted us rather rudely with “have you registered at the front?” The food was ok, the price-performance ratio is acceptable. Some of the finished dishes were lukewarm, but ok. What doesn't work at all: the service! We sometimes had to wait over an hour for the plates we had put together ourselves. Given that the stay is limited to 2 hours, this is very tight. We were asked countless times by an employee whether we wanted to pay, even though we were told every time that two plates were still missing. When these arrived after more than an hour, they had been prepared incorrectly or had been mixed with other ingredients. We certainly understand that mistakes can happen when there is a high rush. When we asked kindly whether the restaurant could accommodate us so that we didn't have to pay for the drinks (3x juice spritzers), after a few minutes of discussion our service staff loudly complained that she didn't have time for that, and the boss who was called in was more than stressed and shouted at us. We used to work as service staff ourselves, and this kind of behavior towards a guest is simply not acceptable. Unfortunately, the restaurant has degenerated into a loud, chaotic mass processing hall, and there is no trace of the friendliness it once had. The employees are clearly overwhelmed and take their mood out on the guests. This was definitely the last visit for us and we cannot recommend the restaurant.

Were there today and we were told that one drink per person was now mandatory. The waiter (who kept turning up his nose) didn't take an order (then asked for 3x0.25 water). But I couldn't explain it in German either. He probably wanted to sell us whole bottles ("Woman big, bottle?"). Tried everything, wouldn't take an order and didn't say why. Then left the restaurant. Obliging drinks is a bold move, but if the waiter can't even articulate his problem with 3x small water, unfortunately you can't order anything. Big warning about this "restaurant".

Homemade food arrived very cold because the robot was probably on strike again. You could see that a lot that evening. Food was then warmed up in the microwave because there was so much going on that it would probably have taken another three quarters of an hour. After I hadn't completely finished the meal, of course, a very angry waiter came and reluctantly took the plate away. The service is generally underwhelming. Unfortunately, the waiters are not really helpful, inattentive and somehow in a bad mood. You somehow feel like you are on a bad all-inclusive holiday in a 3 star hotel. In my opinion, price/performance is not right here. We won't come back again.

We were here so many times and celebrated birthdays. I specially reserved the room for 14 people. We arrived and the reservation was not recorded. Now accommodate 14 people. I prevailed and insisted on a table until we got it after a 40 minute delay. The waiter then told us to sit at the round table at the back. All the tables were occupied. I went back to him and asked him if he could please show us the table. Since we were unsettled, I was angry. When I went to look for the table and he didn't want to help me despite asking, he called after me not to roll my eyes. In front of all the customers. Very unprofessional. Never seen such unfriendly staff. Not willing to help with that. Never again

Was today on February 28, 2025 and can recommend it with a clear conscience. There were 10 of us! Staff, food, everything was great. I would like to thank everyone who served us again

The selection is really much better than any comparable restaurant. You can find a lot and the food is very delicious. I recommend the restaurant because we often eat here ourselves and enjoy it every time.

The all-you-can-eat concept is perfectly implemented. The selection of food is impressive - from freshly made sushi to crispy spring rolls to traditional hot dishes like crispy duck and fried noodles. Everything was of excellent quality and was constantly replenished. The service was super friendly and attentive, the atmosphere was pleasant and modern. Price-performance is absolutely right here - you really get a lot on offer.

I only give one point for the food. A waiter is totally rude and shouts at the guests there. He is loud and disrespectful to the guests. I was there with a friend and she couldn't finish some of the food. Then the waiter came and shouted at her that it wouldn't work. That she has to pay again even though she had already paid for all you can eat! The waiter then called the boss and he was just as disrespectful! Anyone who is behind such employees should really think about whether they really want this work and whether they want to receive customers! Of course my girlfriend then left and the chase started. They didn't want to let her go because she didn't want to pay an additional €15 for the unfinished food. Even the people sitting next to me (other guests) were totally shocked and of course heard everything. Even they said you don't have to pay for it, so I'd rather finish everything diligently or they'll do the same to you. Overall, very disrespectful behavior. Of course, my friend then informed the police and asked where she could file a report and where she could report what they were doing with the guests. I definitely don't recommend it, I've never experienced anything so unpleasant!

The choice of food is large, buffet style, but to say that it is very tasty is not. The food is bland and monotonous, although the choice is not bad. But the desserts in the establishment are delicious. The price is reasonable, we paid about 20 euros per person. Drinks are not included in the price, you need to pay separately

I've been going to Keio for years because the selection is simply great, and especially the price-performance ratio is unbeatable compared to other restaurants in Heilbronn. Also highly recommended for lunch. Although the selection is smaller than in the evening, you have starters, main courses and dessert as “all you can eat” at a really good price. Apart from that, very tasty.

Food was top👍. We often eat here as a family. The children have a children's area with toys. The buffet selection is large and delicious. The chocolate fountain is of course also a must. The seating selection is large and diverse. Furthermore, the service is also friendly.

I eat at Keio with my husband on a regular basis and so far we have always been completely satisfied. The food is very good and there is a large selection. The staff are always friendly and the plates are cleared very quickly. I have nothing to complain about and can only recommend a visit to Keio.

We have eaten at Keio several times now and really appreciate the consistently high quality and good taste. A lot has happened since the reopening and we can recommend this all you can eat restaurant with a clear conscience. The service is very friendly and quickly removes the dishes used. The selection of different dishes, including vegetarian ones, impresses us every time. We also have a tradition of having salmon roasted on the Mongolian grill every time we visit. We also recommend the range of teas, which are brought in a whole pot complete with rock candy and kept warm with a tea light. In short: highly recommended and always delicious!

The food didn't taste that good

Well, unfortunately the visit wasn't as good as it used to be. Some of the meat was undercooked and there were prawns on my plate even though I didn't have any. The plates were cleared very late and the menu on the table was sticky and smeared. The toilets weren't clean either - these are all points that spoil the overall impression. But what bothered me the most and is an absolute no-go for me: An employee cursed in his native language after he asked if he would get a tip and we politely declined. Such behavior is unprofessional. Even when we left the place and approached him, he couldn't resist commenting again. I think that doesn't work at all. Every guest should be able to decide for themselves whether to tip or not without being treated that way. After this experience, we will probably avoid the store for a while, even though we used to go there often and preferred it to others. Really a shame!

I can only recommend this restaurant for parents with children, super family friendly. As parents, you can eat in a relaxed manner because the children are busy playing in the playground area. The only negative point I give to the fresh buffet is that the meat is frozen. Great price-performance ratio, friendly staff. Very satisfied and we would like to come here again.

The baked duck was overall too fatty. The fried liver wasn't exactly the high C either. Everything else was ok and the price per person for the buffet was very good. Overall, the quality of all the dishes is recommendable. Would come there again too.

We have now celebrated our birthdays in this restaurant twice and have really found the right thing for every guest. Regardless of whether it was vegetarian or vegan, everyone was thrilled. The quality of the buffet is very good and the food is hot and tasty. You can also have something freshly prepared, which is then brought to the table by a robot. That alone is an experience. The sushi and the selection of desserts are also very good. A chocolate fountain with which you can prepare chocolate fruit skewers is also a highlight. I can recommend the restaurant 100%!!!

It was very loud and a lot of screaming that evening. Unfortunately, we were seated right next to the children's corner and when we asked to change places, this was denied. The buffet is varied and has something for every palate. The service is friendly, but overwhelmed and very chaotic that evening.

We were here tonight for the first time, three of us came, took a buffet (~22€ per person) and three drinks (~4-5€ per drink), payment at the end was by card. Instead of 78€, the Chinese girl bills us 149€. We were surprised at first and asked again. The girl waiter began some complex calculations on a piece of paper with a pencil in front of us. She counted it three times and said at the end: well, here it is 149€. We now began to count together. And they said that 149 € is basically for six people, and there are three of us here. It took her a long time to move in. But in the end it still came out to 78€. Of course, a residue remained... - was that intentional or really can’t count? Bottom line: ALWAYS double-check your account here! Otherwise the food is gross, but with clean plates it’s like playing roulette. You might get in (if you're lucky), or you might not. Haha, thank you, but we prefer to have dinner where it’s cleaner (and the calculations are more honest 😉) 😁🤣🤣🤣

Food quality and options were very good, everything was immediately refilled when empty. Only downside was that the price list was 20.9€ per person for the buffet and they charged us 21.9€ per person instead. What we really liked was that you can fill plate of raw food and a pick a sauce and they will cook it into a meal and deliver it to your table via a service robot.

Far too full, had to wait despite reservations. A lot went wrong when ordering drinks and we had to wait a long time. The plate from the grill came about 45 minutes later, I was already full and so I let it go back, too bad about the food. The staff rarely comes by. Update November 29, 2024: we ate there again, the staff is rude to the guests because of the alleged lack of space. Was just as rude to me because the children were sitting eating from the buffet and let them go back because it didn't taste good. Conclusion: it's better to eat somewhere else!

I went to this restaurant with my children today. We ate three meals there and wanted to take one home with us. In addition to the menu, I also wanted to have a dessert. I asked the boss for something for dessert, but he didn't want to give it to me because I wasn't allowed dessert even though I had paid for the entire menu. I told him I would pay but he still didn't want to. When I asked him why I couldn't buy, he very arrogantly replied that he was the boss. Very rude and rude. Even one of the waiters told me that he always does it like that, it's the last time I'll go there.
