Kim Viet Pho - Vietnamesische & Japanische Spezialitäten in Heilbronn

I don't usually write reviews, but in this case I just have to. My girlfriend and I have been there a few times and yesterday we tried the sushi at Kim Viet for the first time. In short: we are delighted! Not only was it extraordinarily delicious, but the portions - by that I mean the portion of salmon in the sushi - were extraordinarily large. The price-performance ratio is unbeatable! I have to honestly say that I have never experienced such generous sushi anywhere in Germany. If you want to enjoy real sushi and value a generous portion, this is the place for you. Many of the other dishes we have tried so far are also really delicious. And last but not least: the service was always friendly and very courteous. I have tried many restaurants in Heilbronn and this is now my absolute favorite!

We ate here for the first time this afternoon and were very satisfied. The food was delicious and the service was great! The staff was consistently friendly and we were always served quickly. I can especially recommend the gyoza, they were really tasty! We will definitely eat here again :)

Certainly a good restaurant, but I asked the waiter several times to tell me exactly what ingredients he used for the fried rice and chicken. Then we agreed to make it without vegetables but only with burnt rice and chicken because I can't tolerate the ingredients. Unfortunately he then brought me everything full of vegetables, which I couldn't tolerate due to my intolerances. This made me extremely annoyed because I mentioned it 3 times, he should ask again and clarify that it was done as discussed. That's why I can only give 2 stars and my plate was barely touched. Too bad...

Very long waiting times - waiters and kitchen understaffed, some of the food is still frozen! Unfortunately, our visit was a disaster. My husband and I made reservations by phone. When we arrived, we stood clearly visible in the entrance area and waited to be picked up. Waiters walked past us several times, but we were not spoken to. We stood and continued to wait. Finally after 5 minutes we were spotted by the lady at the bar and our reservation was checked. Our table was literally in a separate entrance area where guests were constantly coming in and out of the restaurant. At -1°C in winter, the room was correspondingly cold and it drafted when the front door was opened. I was freezing and had to cover myself with my scarf. We didn't feel like we were part of the restaurant but an afterthought. We waited for a waiter to place our order. After 15 minutes we were still waiting until we were made aware that we wanted to order. This then happened quickly. We ordered 2 main courses and 3 small side dishes. When we asked for everything to be served together, we were told "it would be quicker if they were served individually". It's a shame that our wish wasn't implemented, but we trusted the waitress. Now to the food: We waited 15 minutes for the 3 simple starters... OK, but not quickly. One of them was 4 steamed dumplings. These were lukewarm on the outside and still frozen on the inside! If you offer frozen goods, please do so in such a way that the guest does not notice. We still ate them in a depressed mood. We then waited almost an hour for our main courses. My food came, my husband's didn't. I waited to eat because we wanted to eat our dishes together. After 10 minutes there was still no sign of his dish. We ended up having to share my dish because it was slowly cooling down. Tastes good, but nothing special compared to others, or too expensive for the quality. Almost 15 minutes later his food finally arrived after we had eaten half of mine together. Unfortunately his noodles were very overcooked. It was more of a noodle mash than a successful noodle bowl. He ate it anyway because we didn't want to wait another hour for a replacement dish. At least the portions were large, so you were well fed. When we finally wanted to "enjoy" the meal together, the next no-go came: A larger group of guests needed several tables. So the staff started pushing the massive wooden furniture back and forth right next to us. This didn't happen quietly, but loudly with unbearable squeaks, banging and rumbling around. We finally had our food and couldn't even finish it in peace. In addition, it was really noisy in the restaurant because there were simply too many guests and no measures were taken to absorb the sound in a full restaurant. After paying we wanted to have the rest packed up, but even then we waited and waited. After another 10 minutes of waiting for a small box with the leftovers, we finally left the restaurant without our food. After waiting so long for mediocre, incorrectly prepared food all evening, the barrel was full. It's really a shame! We would have liked much more attentive staff and, above all, much quicker and better preparation of our food. What we found worst was that our main courses came at such different times and we had to spend the evening in a cold entrance area. An attempt was made to make even more profit from the restaurant space without paying attention to whether the staff and the kitchen could keep up with a full house and, above all, whether the guest felt comfortable there. In total we spent 2 hours in the restaurant, including half an hour eating. The rest was waiting. The whole evening was a complete disappointment for us. Never again.

Super tasty food with fresh and crunchy vegetables that were very well seasoned. Large selection of well presented dishes in a cozy atmosphere. The staff was very friendly and accommodating.

The restaurant is really a little insider tip, because probably no one goes to Heilbronn HBF voluntarily. But I have to say as soon as you climb the stairs you immediately dive into another world. In addition to very warm hospitality, you can expect a lovely feel-good atmosphere. Price performance is right for me here.

Unreserved recommendation - a real treasure! The reception and service was very friendly and attentive, the food was incredibly tasty and attractively prepared. The portion size, I would say, is above average and the prices are completely reasonable. In the evening I would recommend a reservation.

Insider tip in Heilbronn main station. On the first floor of the building we were able to eat delicious udon noodles and sushi and drink a good glass of wine. The service was attentive, very friendly and repeatedly asked about the quality of the food. We would love to come back for dinner again.

We were a large group, and everyone loved the food! It doesn’t feel like we’re in a train station but rather in an upscale city restaurant. I would definitely recommend it. It is a bit pricey, but the quantity and quality more than make up for the cost.

The restaurant on the first floor of the station building offers a surprisingly nice and cozy atmosphere. The food was excellent. We were particularly impressed by the courteous service - we were able to safely leave our bikes on the upper floor. When we are back in Heilbronn, we will definitely come again!

We were there for a birthday party (10 people) and everything was really exceptional! - Service very friendly, courteous and attentive - Large portions - Superior quality of food, very authentic Vietnamese - Although we had 10 different main courses, they were all served at the same time and all dishes were hot - For the birthday there was a round of liqueur for everyone and a small present for the birthday child For these reasons I would also give 6 stars if that were possible!

Today I tried this Vietnamese restaurant in Heilbronn train station. I saw online that my favorite dessert - sticky rice with banana and coconut milk in a banana leaf - was available there. I was completely amazed by the ambience, the friendly service and the delicious food. That certainly wasn't the last time I ate here. By the way, I ordered the dessert twice because it was so delicious.

You don't expect so much in a train station. But I haven't been so positively surprised in a long time. The food tastes simply fantastic. Everything freshly prepared and original Vietnamese. The super friendly service and the beautiful furnishings complete the offer. Only the location in the train station deducts 1 point from the ambience. Absolute recommendation!!

Good Vietnamese, in the train station. The beautiful ambience inside makes you quickly forget the less beautiful thing outside the door. The food has always been very tasty, although I haven't paid much attention to the sushi menu. In fact, there is a very extensive menu with all sorts of specialties and the prices are fair.

Had a very good Asian meal today. Fast and friendly service at a reasonable price. Nobody can do anything about the current renovation of the station area. But it doesn't bother you when you're inside. Gladly again.

A beautifully decorated restaurant where we received a very warm welcome. The variety of food didn't make it easy for us because we wanted to eat so much of it, but we'll solve that over time because we'll definitely be back. The food was excellent. I can only recommend the Kim Viêt Phô in Heilbronn. Also recommended are the Bao Burger with duck, the Phô soup, summer rolls and the homemade drinks. Everything is super delicious. Service top. Vietnamese coffee authentic & very tasty. Dessert really good. You can park in the Experimenta parking garage. I am very satisfied and would like to come back.

So far we have only picked up food - it was always extremely tasty, well packaged, large portions with a good price-performance ratio. In the vegetarian section, we were particularly impressed with C7 Coconut Curry - good seasoning, great mix of vegetables, everything fresh, good consistency, just great. The udon noodle soups are also extremely tasty. We'd love to come back!

Since it's at the main train station, you don't expect much at first!!! But as soon as you go up the stairs what a nice, clean, cute restaurant! The location of the restaurant is very convenient, but there is no parking nearby. The service is really great! Two women served us, one didn't talk much, but the other was very attentive, smiled often and stopped by regularly to ask how we were doing. When the sushi was served to us, the chef smiled and handed the dish to us personally. The food is really delicious! They are now one of our top 5 restaurants! Highly recommended! The best Vietnamese restaurant out side of Vietnam in my life ever! Pho is crazy delicious. If you miss Vietnamese food, you have to go. If you dont know about Vietnamese food, you also have to go. Good atmosphere, good food, good service. Strong recommend.

Nothing special. I can't recommend the restaurant more. It was chosen because of several positive reviews, but the food is very average. We weren't impressed with the service either. We wanted to pay by card, but the service wasn't satisfactory. We had just tipped a few euros, the waitress' reaction was strange, she was more disappointed than grateful. So we definitely won't come again.

Excellent food, large selection for vegetarians (be sure to try the Seitan!) and friendly staff. Stylishly furnished, you really don't notice that you are in the main train station. Only the waiting time on a Saturday evening was really long due to the high occupancy. But it was worth it!
