L'Osteria Heilbronn in Heilbronn

I recently ate at L'Osteria and was absolutely thrilled by the friendly and attentive service, Kristina and Adriana. The waiters were cheerful, courteous, and always helpful – without being intrusive. Our requests were carefully attended to, special order requests were no problem, and we were regularly asked if everything was okay or if we needed anything else. It's noticeable that the team enjoys their work – this creates a relaxed and pleasant atmosphere. Thank you for the great service! We'll be happy to come back.

The service was really fast and friendly, and even though it's a bit louder inside than outside, the atmosphere was great. It feels very intimate and cozy. The food was also delicious! I would definitely recommend L'Osteria and would happily eat here again in the future :)

We went there for lunch. The atmosphere was lovely, right on the banks of the Neckar River. The service was fast and attentive. The pizzas were enormous and crispy; the only thing I didn't like was that they poured extra olive oil on top of the pizza, which was already high in fat from the cheese. Otherwise, I recommend it.

Upon entering the restaurant, I was greeted by super friendly staff, which immediately created a pleasant atmosphere. I was particularly impressed by the Vegetariana pizza, which was absolutely delicious – crispy base, fresh ingredients, and a well-balanced flavor. The ambiance also invites you to relax and underlines the positive overall impression. All in all, a thoroughly enjoyable restaurant visit that I highly recommend to every pizza lover. We went to the Losteria in Heilbronn today for our grandma's birthday. The food and service were truly fantastic! Our waitress, Adrijana, served us wonderfully and fulfilled our every wish. Our grandma also received a birthday serenade from the entire crew and was surprised with a tiramisu on the house.

It's a very pleasant place and the coffee is delicious!

We ordered from Losteria today at 5:29 PM via Uber Eats. The pizzas arrived completely cold at 8:02 PM. The driver said it wasn't his fault. So, as a warning, never order delivery from Uber Eats. I don't understand why Losteria even does this. If we hadn't paid in advance, I wouldn't have accepted anything or paid for it. But it was a lesson learned: once and never again!

Unfortunately, I can't recommend it. We had pizza and pasta today. The pasta wasn't cooked enough. The menu stated that the pasta came with grilled vegetables, but that wasn't the case. Instead, it was simply boiled vegetables. The "beef strips" were more like pieces of goulash. Furthermore, there was a severe lack of seasoning; it simply tasted of nothing. The pizza simply had the same problem as in all the chain's restaurants. They ultimately use the same amount of dough as for a "regular" diameter pizza, which results in the pizza being so thin that it becomes a mess, especially in the middle. Only the edges are crispy. The large diameter might impress people with a more simple mind, but for true pizza fans, the concept doesn't work. On top of that, these ridiculously large pizzas come on plates that are far too small. Yes, I know, that's part of the marketing, but it's just extremely impractical and not particularly hygienic when the pizza hangs off the plate (even with a scrap of paper underneath the plate). Besides, if you're sitting at a table of three and everyone orders a pizza, it's simply not possible in terms of space. We had trouble placing two pasta dishes and a pizza on one table. The service itself is fine, nothing special, but what's absolutely unacceptable is a waiter wiping the table next to us and then throwing the wet, dirty rag onto the counter, just past my head, while I'm eating. L'Osteria and I will definitely not be friends again in this lifetime. I simply imagine a different kind of restaurant experience.

Ordered food, arrived ice cold. We called to complain, and they hung up twice!!!!! Totally unprofessional, no apology, nothing!

Really bad experience. Waited for 20 minutes without anyone even care to ask, even though more than half of the seats were empty. The waiters simply walked by and pretended that they don’t see me, and then walked into the kitchen laughing and chatting with their colleagues. I decided to leave after this irrespective service, and will not recommend to anyone to try.

Total disappointment! The tables and chairs outside are dirty. There were only about 10 guests there. We had to wait 20 minutes before we could even order a drink. After that, it took another 30 minutes for the two beers to arrive... 👎🏻 They weren't even cold enough. The service was haphazard and unfriendly. We skipped ordering food. Absolutely not recommending a visit.

You should vet your servers before hiring them. I've rarely seen such disrespect. They refuse to serve you for no reason, refuse to take your order, and when you try to pay, they ignore you to the point where even other guests notice. I enjoyed eating at your place, but that seems to be over. What a shame...

Unfortunately, the Heilbronn branch attracted a lot of negative attention on Friday, August 9, 2025, due to its extremely unfriendly service staff. While I enjoy visiting L'Osteria in other cities, in Heilbronn I will only choose restaurants where I am treated with kindness and respect – the service staff at L'Osteria Heilbronn could definitely learn a thing or two from that. A real shame!

We were promised a dessert for a good review, but when receiving the bill (only after having paid), the desserts were charged to us. We received the money back (in cash!), but these are sketchy practices, feels like a scam. Pizza was good.
