An absolute delight! The Osteria impresses in every way – from the quality of the food to the warm atmosphere. We had grilled vegetables that were not only beautifully presented but also outstanding in terms of flavor: fresh, perfectly seasoned, and grilled to perfection. The pizza was also a dream – crispy crust, juicy topping, and wonderfully aromatic cheese. You can immediately taste the love and the finest ingredients that go into the cooking here. The service was attentive, friendly, and unobtrusive, which made the entire experience even more enjoyable. Add to that the lovely ambiance, where you immediately feel at home – whether for a relaxed dinner or a special gathering. We will definitely be back and highly recommend the Osteria!

We ate there for the first time last night. It was a thoroughly enjoyable evening. Lovely ambiance, attentive and friendly staff, and excellent food.

We have enjoyed going to Osteria da Umberto for many years. The transition from the small, family-run trattoria located in the city center to the more spacious and modernly designed osteria we now have, located in the WTZ, was initially quite an adjustment. Nonna still works in the kitchen, and none of the refined dishes that impressed us has been lost. In addition to the dishes offered on the set menu, there are regularly specials from the day, and wine pairings are also available upon request. Special requests for dishes are also accommodated, which is no longer a given these days. One minor drawback is that the staff reaches their limits when busy, and the noise level also increases significantly. All in all, the Osteria is a restaurant represented by three generations, which has survived the COVID-19 years, which were difficult for all industries, and despite the tense situation on the labor market, it still has a recognizable staff. For us, this Osteria in Heilbronn, a city plagued by fast-food chains, is a gem, despite its minor drawbacks, and we definitely recommend it! Here, you can spend a pleasant evening in an upscale atmosphere.

Top-notch kitchen, boss a complete no-go The cuisine was truly outstanding – the vitello tonnato and the pasta with chanterelles were very tasty, the mushrooms were perfectly cleaned, and the value for money was reasonable. But all the positives were ruined by the boss's demeanor. A regular at the next table ordered an ashtray outside on the terrace and received it without any problems. My mother – also a smoker – was directed to the smoking lounge. The difference between regulars and walk-ins could hardly be clearer. Add to that an arrogant, almost condescending demeanor that immediately signals to everyone who fits their personal mold – and who doesn't. Employees are reprimanded in front of guests, which is unpleasant to watch. It's a shame, because such unacceptable behavior drives away even potential regulars – no matter how good the food.

I love this restaurant! The food is simply fantastic. Always fresh, delicious, and prepared with love. I love coming here because everything is just perfect. The staff is also incredibly friendly and accommodating. You immediately feel welcome. A clear recommendation for anyone who appreciates good food and a pleasant atmosphere!

Our first impression was that it was a very modern restaurant. It was minimalist but stylishly decorated. The staff initially seemed friendly. However, we had to wait a while for someone to take our order. The food was prepared with fresh ingredients, but it wasn't a culinary highlight. After our meal, we asked for the bill, which only arrived after half an hour and a second request. After the comment that we were in a hurry, we won't be eating there again for a while. However, one positive thing to note is that our dog was served a bowl of water.

I've heard nothing but great things about this restaurant, but unfortunately I can't confirm it. We had a small buffet, and it wasn't outstanding. The icing on the cake was the canned pineapple in the fruit salad, which was brilliant. The water was constantly running out at the table. We went to the bar ourselves and asked for more water, but I expect excellent service from a restaurant like this.

No. This has nothing to do with Italian cuisine. Maccheroni Bolognese. A disgrace. This dish doesn't exist in Italy. Their pizzas have the same dough as Dr. Oetker's. Avoid it!

We were here with a group after a visit to the Ipal center and had previously agreed on a menu with the restaurant. Absolutely well organized by the landlady, the staff and the kitchen.

Solitamente in Germania non mangio mai in ristoranti italiani. Questo è un'eccezione motivata da un'ottima qualità. L'ultima volta ho mangiato una braciola di maiale iberico, molto buona. Anche le verdure saltate in padella di contorno erano molto buone e con un impiattamento "all'italiana " senza salse e Kräuterbutter. Come birra si può bere una Pils di Dinkelacker. Il servizio, soprattutto se effettuato dalla titolare, è eccellente.

Upscale Italian cuisine at upscale prices. The atmosphere is more reminiscent of a canteen than a restaurant. The pizza rolls are disappointing - they have a tomato cream with oregano on top and are unfortunately not as fluffy as you get from other pizzerias.

Very well maintained atmosphere. The menu is not very extensive, but the dishes there are very tasty. However, the portions of the pasta dishes were too small.

Our go-to Italian for whom we like to drive the kilometers to Heilbronn. They are 100% worth it. The food is always delicious, whether it's a starter, main course or dessert. In addition, in my opinion the service is exceptionally good for this price range. The ambience is also very lovely, I personally prefer the seats facing the window because you benefit from the high ceilings there. Absolutely recommended!

Egal ob Antipasti, Pasta oder Dessert – alles war perfekt zubereitet und voller Geschmack. Besonders gut hat mir gefallen, dass die Gerichte authentisch und nicht zu schwer sind. The terrace is very pleasant, we had dinner there in the month of August and the weather wanted to be with us, the temperature was perfect. The food was good although the dishes did not surprise me. The fish had quite a few bones, it's something that I personally don't like but obviously that's up to each person's taste. The staff was friendly but not excessive, perhaps the fact that we speak German made it a little difficult for them to interact with us. I have been to other Ostrerias before that I liked more than this one, but as they say in Spanish, the colors depend on your taste.

Basically tastes good. Price wise, well. My wife ate a scaloppina with chanterelles. 2 pieces of meat. One of them was 60% fat. She then complained about this too. The nice waitress then apologized. That's it. Not even an espresso or anything like that on the house. For a price of 28 for the dish, this is bordering on outrageous. If you want to play in this price league, things should be a little different. Had to pay full price for the partly inferior meat. Absolute no go.

Ich war zum ersten Mal in diesem Restaurant. Meine Freundin hat es vorgeschlagen, da sie schonmal dort war und es so gut fand. Ich wurde nicht enttäuscht! Kann mich nicht erinnern zuletzt eine SO gute Pizza gegessen zu haben 😍 Ich hatte die Pizza mit Parmaschinken und ein Carpaccio zur Vorspeise, was auch richtig gut war 😍🤌🏽 Tolle Location und sehr freundliches Personal. Very tasty food with great quality. The service is super friendly and the atmosphere makes you feel completely comfortable. Top wines and even if something isn't on the menu they try to fulfill every wish. Really a top restaurant for Heilbronn. And I recommend the beetroot carpaccio even though I don't actually eat beetroot. Super special taste!!!

First of all I have to praise the staff. That was really nice, accommodating and very friendly. But that's the only positive thing we can report. The food is definitely not recommended. We had bruschetta as a starter, which was totally over salted. When we asked, we were told that it was a ready-made seasoning mix and that we were the only ones who complained. We ate it, but it was really very marginal. The main course (salad with asparagus and game fish with vegetables and potatoes) wasn't good either. We could only eat part of it. Since the waiters can't do anything about the quality, we said everything was ok. We didn't want to embarrass them again. But half went back. We then asked for the bill and left. We definitely wouldn't come back. It's a shame, because we actually know the Osteria differently. Our job means we're somewhere else every weekend, but we've never eaten so badly. For just under €60 that's very sad.

I felt like I was in Italy. I haven't eaten so well in a long time. Really awesome and absolutely recommended. Also totally child-friendly. On the terrace you feel a bit like you are on holiday.

I made a reservation for Valentine's Day. When we arrived there was only a small map. There were only a few dishes on this menu, none of which appealed to us. So we decided to just have a drink and move on. We were then harassed even though there was nothing about it on the website and it wasn't pointed out when we made the reservation. Waren früher des öfteren dort zum Essen. Bei den letzten beiden Besuchen war das Essen so lala, also nicht das was man von einem Italiener erwarten kann. Als wir nun erneut dort waren kam das Vitello tonnato meines Partners mit einer Wassersuppe um den Rand an den Tisch. Sah aus wie aufgetaute Brühe. Essen ging dann auch zurück, der Umgang damit war aber vorbildlich. Mein Iberico Stück war hingegen gut, lediglich ein paar geschnittene angebrannte Kartoffelstückchen, etwas Paprika ( anscheinend gegrillt ) und ein Streifen Fenchel das ganze für 25€ etwas bedürftig. Leider ist die Osteria nicht mehr das was es einmal war und daher nichts mehr für uns, leider.

Wir haben Carpaccio und Vitello Tonnato bestellt. Das Vitello Tonnato war ungenießbar! Auf dem Teller war rund um das Kalbfleisch eine wässrige, trübe undefinierbare Brühe und es roch nach stinkendem Fisch. Ich konnte nicht einmal probieren, so eklig war der Anblick und der Geruch. Ich habe das Essen zurückgehen lassen und mir auch ein Carpaccio bestellt, welches dann auch gut schmeckte. Kaum zuhause angekommen kämpfte ich mit Magen-Darmbeschwerden! Auch am nächsten Tag hatte ich noch „Flitze-Peter“! Mein Mann hatte den gleichen Spaß! Es war einmal! Sehr schade! Dieses Restaurant war einmal unser Stammlokal welches wir wörtlich besuchten. Seit es vor Jahren in das Wohlgelegen-Gebäude umgezogen ist, nimmt die Qualität mehr und mehr ab! Auch das Ambiente ist nicht mehr das, was es mal war!

Top Location mit sehr guter Küche

Leckeres Essen, sehr freundliches Personal, wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Wir saßen zu viert im vorderen Bereich, was sehr angenehm war, im hinteren Bereich hat das Restaurant leider etwas Kantinenatmosphäre. Wir würden trotzdem wieder dort essen. Inzwischen konnten wir auch auf der Terrasse das Dolce Vita genießen.

Wer gerne mal Abends schick und nobel essen gehen möchte, kann gerne mal das Osteria da Umberto in Heilbronn ausprobieren. Vor allem Abends hat das Ambiente einen gewissen Flair an „Luxus“. Service sowie Essen sehr gut, Service verhält sich professionell, das Essen qualitativ gut. Preis dementsprechend etwas „erhoben“, siehe Menü Karte. Nichts desto trotz ein sehr schönes Ambiente.

Tolles Ambiente, super Service ( sehr aufmerksam und zuvor kommend). Die Nonna steht noch in der Küche und zaubert eine wunderbare Pasta und viele weiter tolle Gerichte. Wir waren gestern vor Ort, ein wirklich sehr empathischer Service und sehr leckere Speisen. Die Pizza war sensationell, der Parmaschinken zerging förmlich auf der Zunge, die Tomatensugo und der Pizzateig einfach himmlisch. Wir besitzen einen Pizzaofen, zelebrieren zuhause oft das Pizza backen aber solch ein Teig scheint für uns unerreichbar. Hier steckt sicher ein über Jahrzehnte gut gehütetes Familienrezept hinter dieser sensationellen Pizza. Auch die Tirami su und die dreierlei Dolce waren ein Genuß und herrlicher Abschluß dieses gelungenen Abendessens. Herzliche Grüße aus Hessen und auf ein Wiedersehen!

Gutes frisch zubereitetes Essen, aber es gab eine sehr lange Wartezeit zwischen den Gängen mit drei Stunden Dauer insgesamt, obwohl ein festes Menü mit zwei Hauptgängen zur Auswahl vorab angemeldet war.

Hatten nur viele verschiedene Antipasti, die waren alle sehr gut. Service, vor allem der, der Chefin war top, die Mitarbeiter waren auch gut, haben aber Steigerungspotential ;-) um es zu verdeutlichen: wir bekamen z.B. einen dreckigen Teller an den Tisch- kann passieren, aber ein Ausdruck des bedauern wäre trotzdem angebracht, wir bestellen Wasser Medium, bekommen still, leider wurden wir von den Mitarbeitern nicht einmal gefragt ob alles recht ist, oder ob was fehlt - so "musste" wir uns z.B. Essig, Öl, Salz und Pfeffer vom Nachbartisch " klauen" .... alles nicht schlimm, aber deshalb im Service ein Punkt Abzug 💕 beim Essen "nur" 4 weil wir wie beschrieben nur Antipastu hatten

Great place near the Harbr hotel

Preis/Leistung passt nicht. Das Essen war sehr gut aber auch nichts besonderes, für den Preis nicht angemessen. Beim Viergänge Menü wurde bis zu 1h Pause zwischen den Gängen gelassen, zu lange. Als Reaktion auf dieses Feedback hieß es "heute ist viel los". Es waren 30 Leute anwesend und es gab nur das Menü zur Auswahl...

Das Restaurant hat mit dem „klassischen“ Italiener, wie man ihn kennt nichts zu tun. Die Speisekarte eher ausgefallen und für Feinschmecker. Entsprechend angehoben sind auch die Preise. Meine Pizza für 14 Euro war leider nicht sehr schmackhaft. Der Teig zudem sehr hart und zäh. Ich habe immer noch Kieferschmerzen vom Kauen. Die Messer sind leider für die Pizza ungeeignet. Wieso gibt es keine Messer, die besser schneiden? Der Service war zwar freundlich, aber eher unaufmerksam. Wir haben leider für alles sehr lange warten müssen. Insbesondere die Zubereitung des Essens (Pizza + Nudeln) hat sehr lange gedauert, obwohl sehr viele Leute in der Küche standen. Einige Servicekräfte kennen zudem die Speisekarte nicht richtig und können einem nicht mitteilen, was man eigentlich auf dem Teller hat. Getränke gibt es überwiegend nur in kleinen Größen zu großen Preisen - fast schon unverschämt teuer. Die Weine sind leider überteuert (8 Euro für 0,25). Das Brot vorab hatte keine gute Qualität. Die zweite Portion war sogar nicht richtig aufgebacken und leicht teigig. Zur Pizza wurden keine Öle, wie z.B. Chilliöl angeboten. Wer auf gehobene italienische Küche abseits der Deutsch-Italienischen Küche steht wird hier sicherlich auf seine Kosten kommen.

Das Ossobuco war perfekt u. das wäre auch nicht besser in Florenz gewesen. Leider habe ich ewig auf die Rechnung gewartet !

Das Ossobuco war perfekt, lange geschmort und fein abgeschmeckt. Besser hätte man das nicht in Florenz essen können. Allerdings einen Abzug in der B-Note / es dauerte Ewig bis ich mein Rechnung bekommen habe. Schade eigentlich, denn es hat diesen Abend nicht verdient . Der stolze Italiener, als Bedingung ließ dann " Frau" machohaft - gerne warten!!!
