We went to Yedo in Heilbronn again – as always, everything was top-notch! The food was delicious, and the service was friendly and attentive. We had made a reservation in advance and didn't have to wait more than five minutes to check in. All in all, a very successful visit.

I tried sushi in several cities and countries. This place is definitely one of the top 10. A friend of mine brought me to this place and honestly I was not expecting such a good wuality and service in a mid size city of Germany. Prices were very reasonable as well.

A very attractive restaurant with plenty of seating, both indoors and outdoors, and plenty of lighting. The food is delicious and the service is friendly. One star deducted because on our last visit, an employee in the open kitchen spent almost our entire time banging plastic bottles against a metal bowl to empty them. It was like eating at a construction site and not fun. So we paid immediately after our meal and left. Management should pay more attention to ensuring that guests can eat undisturbed. There are other methods for emptying ketchup bottles.

Very tasty and inexpensive food. The price/performance ratio is right here. The atmosphere is cozy, and the location is very good! Service was friendly and nice, and they even pointed out that we could sit under the air conditioning and move around if we wanted. When it's busy, it might take a little longer, but it won't take forever :).

I've tried many sushi restaurants, but Yedo is definitely one of the best! The quality of the fish is outstanding – fresh, tender, and perfectly prepared. The presentation of the dishes is a true feast for the eyes, with great attention to detail. The ambiance in the restaurant is stylish yet cozy – you immediately feel at home. The service is also first-class: friendly, attentive, and always professional. The house special rolls are particularly recommended – creative and delicious! One of my favorite restaurants in Heilbronn! Sushi of outstanding quality – always fresh and prepared with great care. The open kitchen gives you the opportunity to see exactly how much hygiene and attention are paid to the work. What particularly touched me: A lady from the waiting staff specifically asked the kitchen to prepare steamed vegetables for my one-year-old daughter. A small gesture, but for me, a sign of how much the well-being of every guest means to them – no matter how small. I can wholeheartedly recommend the restaurant, especially for families with children.

Unfortunately, I have to agree with some of the reviews; the restaurant seems very crowded with tables. The music and surroundings were also very loud. The service was very friendly, but I did have to wait a bit long at times. The food was absolutely excellent and seemed to be of very high quality. Truly a dream.

Went there for lunch - a disappointment. There was chicken in mango sauce. The chicken consisted largely of breading and was still dripping with fat, the mango sauce seemed to be from a prepackaged package, tasted bland and was simply lame. The 3 chunks of vegetables and the rice were ok, but that's not what you go to Yedo for.

These are the first very tasty sushi and rolls that I tried in Germany. Beautiful presentation, everything autumn is delicious, the selection of cocktails is not very large, but I liked them. I recommend the place. There is also a playground nearby where children can play and can be seen from the terrace.

I've been here several times. So far I've always eaten sushi and it tastes really great. Service friendly and quick. The tables are only reserved for 1.5 hours but you know that beforehand. The only negative point for me is the very narrow tables. You have the feeling of sitting at the table with your neighbors. At the weekend it can be a bit cramped. We like to go in the evenings during the week. There is a little less going on here and you can stay seated a little longer.

We have been there at a Tuesday evening and enjoyed the food endlessly. Yet the waitress haven’t been that informed and brought us the wrong order at first and didn’t notice for about 30 minutes that we wanted to pay. Nevertheless it has been great food in a great atmosphere. I would come here again.

For my wife's birthday, the four of us spontaneously went to the restaurant without a reservation. We weren't canceled and had to wait a short time. After that everything went smoothly and the highlight of the evening was celebrating in a birthday atmosphere with the accompaniment of music. It was unforgettable and the food tasted very good. It is always packed with people, you have to wait...On February 15 it was impossible to dine there despite having reserved a week before; We arrived and there were at least 20 people waiting (all with reservation🙄😬😏)...you have to organize yourself better. We ate other times and the food was very delicious, the beer too and the prices very affordable.

This time we chose this sushi restaurant for our anniversary - and we weren't disappointed with the taste. Unfortunately, at the beginning we had to wait a little longer until one of the waitresses accompanied us to our reserved table. It seemed like our reservation wasn't properly honored. Although we were lucky enough to get a seat on the edge, as requested, we were not asked for our name, which gave the impression that the seat was simply given on a first-come, first-served basis. The restaurant itself is visually very appealing and impresses with a cozy atmosphere, which is underlined by the special play of light. Unfortunately, our dishes were not draped particularly lovingly on the table, but were simply left aside, so we had to distribute them ourselves. Nevertheless, I was thrilled with the square sticks because they fit very well in the hand. I also think giving cutlery is a very good idea, as it means that even inexperienced chopstick eaters can easily use cutlery without having to ask. We both ordered a cocktail to drink and were happy with the selection: the “Pina Colada” and the “Sex in the Jungle” tasted excellent. As a starter we had the “Crispy Sommer”, “Ebi Tempura”, “Tsuki” and “Gyoza”. All of these dishes really impressed us in terms of taste. The “Tom Kha Gai” soup, on the other hand, unfortunately did not suit our taste and was therefore a bit of a disappointment. Our ordered sushi rolls were then served on a pretty platter. We tried the Sake Nigiri, Sake Avocado Maki, Maguro Spicy Maki, Tazuna Roll, Toronto Crunchy and Fuji Crunchy. Overall, the sushi was very tasty, but not quite as outstanding as at our favorite sushi restaurant. My companion found the cucumbers in many of the sushi rolls annoying and couldn't quite get used to the taste. Personally, I particularly enjoyed the “Tazuna Roll” with lots of avocado. The sauces that were spread on the sushi also went well and rounded off the taste perfectly, so I almost didn't have to use soy sauce. At the end I can only say that we had a lovely evening with good food. The service was very friendly and accommodating - so much so that he took a souvenir photo of us. We will definitely come back and try other dishes too.

The sushi tastes very good and the soups are even really good! However, I think the prices are on the upper limit. Where else can I get real premium sushi with a very high fish content for a few euros more. It is also incredibly loud in the restaurant. The experience could be significantly enhanced by using sound breakers in the facility. Overall a good restaurant with room for improvement in terms of pricing and ambience.

We ate at Yedo in HN on Valentine's Day and reserved a table for 6:30 p.m. a week in advance. When the reservation was confirmed, it said that the table was reserved for a maximum of 1 1/2 hours (actually completely sufficient). However, organizing the table reservations was a complete disaster: We arrived at 6:25 p.m. and had to join a huge queue in front of the K3 because there were simply no seats left. It was only after about half an hour that we were brought to our tables. The atmosphere was very nice for Valentine's Day, but unfortunately the tables were placed very close to each other, so you didn't always have the feeling of privacy. After 6 minutes we were already asked what we would like to eat. I know this for sure because my friend wasn't quite sure about the selection and the waitress had already pointed out to us that the time was already running and we had been sitting at the table for 6 minutes. If we want to get our food on time, we have to hurry up. From then on, the mood wasn't so good anymore... the food itself was quite good, but after the main course we were asked twice more if we could cash in, even though I told one and the other waitress that I had ordered an espresso (which came cold after 15 minutes). Overall, some of the staff (not all of them) were quite unfriendly and sometimes pressured us to order and then to leave quickly. Of course this also means getting the next guests to their seats as the queue gets longer and longer. Overall, unfortunately, it wasn't the Valentine's Day we had imagined in a very stressful atmosphere. Instead of stressing the guests, just organize them better next time. 😅 However, we don't know if we will come again.

First of all I would like to mention that I would actually give 3.5 stars, I will explain why I rounded down. I took the curry with chicken and was also able to try the fried sushi with chicken. And it tasted good, no question, but I just don't think it was worth the "hype" it has (there were really a lot of people and you had to wait a long time). You could have gotten the curry from an Indian restaurant, even though it's a different cuisine of course, and it wasn't necessarily cheaper, but I think it was better because it tasted more intense. It probably depends on your own taste, if you prefer to eat something gentler then it might be perfect, but I just had something different in mind and I think the sushi just wasn't worth the price because I know Allyoucaneat shops where the sushi tastes very similar. The spring rolls as a starter weren't anything special but they were really expensive. They also forgot the kimchi and it wasn't worth asking. But the coolest thing about the price are the drinks, the homemade ones were just sooo much more expensive than the normal ones and at least the lemonade for 5.90 (which I ordered on Edwin Rudi's recommendation in the reviews, I think you) was just water with lemons and limes in it and cane sugar. Of course it doesn't taste bad, but on the one hand you expect something different and it's just absurdly expensive, with all the things in the glass there's maybe 0.25 liters of liquid left in it and the one drink that tastes better even costs 7.90 and that's just absurd. In addition, the reservation via email did not go through or was not confirmed, which means you definitely have to wait there, for an experience that is not worth it in my opinion. The ambience is pretty nice, but the tables are quite close together. I would give the food a 4/5, but since the service forgot something (probably rare but still happens) and is sometimes really expensive and my expectations were simply not met, I have to round it down from 3.5. There's also not a huge selection, but I don't see that as a point of criticism. And in my opinion there is very little rice, you will be full, but not more than that.

We were at this restaurant on February 14th and it was chaos. Even though everyone had a confirmed reservation, there were two huge lines outside. It was clear the restaurant was intentionally overbooked and was putting profit over customer experience. We waited in the cold for an hour and were then crammed into a table seated so close to the others that we could hear the whispers of the guests next to us. The food? Decent at best – definitely not worth the effort. This place clearly values ​​money more than customer satisfaction. I wouldn't recommend it.

Today on February 14th, 2025 we reserved a table for 2 people over 2 weeks ago. We were there shortly before 8 p.m. and there were two long lines because everyone had supposedly reserved. After waiting for an hour, we left with an empty stomach and went to the competition, where we got a table within 10 minutes without a reservation. I don't understand how you can promise so many people a reservation that can't be kept, especially on a day like this. Extremely annoying for us. We won't be visiting again in the future. The whole thing is very, very disappointing.

We had dinner there. We reserved a long time in advance. Had a separate table. Was great. Service was really friendly, except for one thing. Food was brought to us at the same time, we took what was ordered. However, it later turned out that the meat was mixed up with the additions. The restaurant is far too big for me, full of tables and chairs that don't feel comfortable. A bit of furniture out and decorations in would help a lot. We know many sushi restaurants in Heilbronn and Yedo is right up there. Not great, not bad, just a quick visit because it's conveniently located on the shopping street. The term fusion in the title confuses me. Does this mean the few rice or noodle dishes that are also on the menu? Allegedly. The chicken version in a soup-like curry sauce was also ok, but a reason to definitely want to go back to Yedo. And the prices are far too high for a snack substitute. Conclusion: You can do it, but you don't have to.

Great food, friendly staff, downtown location at the end of the Sülmer Straße pedestrian zone, outdoor dining facing the (quiet) pedestrian zone.

The following happened here today. I ordered crunchie sushi, my colleagues at the table were best friends. My food didn't come, after a while, when I asked, it turned out that my order was on my business customer's plate. The plate was taken away from them and my Suhsi was served from their plate onto a new plate. I didn't accept it and got a "new" one a short time later. There remains room for speculation as to where my Suhsi came from. All in all, it was an embarrassing situation for me and my business partners. Shouldn't happen in a house like this.

Great restaurant, everything runs hand in hand here, the employees are very friendly and motivated, the waitresses kept asking if everything was OK and if we had any requests, which wasn't too intrusive. The dishes were served quickly. The restaurant has a completely open kitchen, so you can see how quickly the sushi is prepared. There were a lot of cooks in the kitchen. The special sushi is so beautifully executed that it's almost a shame to eat it. The ambience is modern, with many tables, some with epoxy resin in the middle. The toilets are clean. There is something to eat for every budget at this restaurant.
