Almstadl Deluxe in Heilbronn

Poor value for money. Service is okay, wines are good. But sorry, €65 per person for a cafeteria meal isn't worth it! The decor was nice, but the music didn't fit the theme.

Very friendly staff, used dishes were cleared away promptly, and there was plenty of food and drinks. The food was good. However, the price was a bit high at €65.

We had our Christmas party at the Almstadl Deluxe with 22 people. The cost was €65 per person, which I think is very expensive! The food arrived quite late, so everyone reached a certain alcohol level, which meant that the food served by the catering service naturally tasted better. 70% salads and 30% dishes, such as braised duck leg or pork medallions. You could get a four-course meal in the restaurant for that!

We were there for the Christmas party in 2022. We were satisfied there, but unfortunately not this year. The food was okay, but unfortunately sometimes only lukewarm, but the selection was excellent. There were quite a few people there, so the atmosphere was unfortunately somewhat better last year. What I find unacceptable is that companies can only pay for the event afterward with an invoice afterward after several discussions. There were a total of 22 people there, and the organizer insisted that we pay the amount privately or in cash. Something definitely needs to be improved here, as we won't be coming back under these circumstances. It says online that only cash payments are accepted, but last year payment by invoice worked without any problems.

Well, what can I say? A thoroughly successful evening, true to my motto: Always well looked after! We'll be back, no question.

Well, what can I say? We were there for a cozy Christmas dinner. We had originally reserved for 10 people, then adjusted it to 9. When we arrived, the reservation was still for 10 people. We then had to pay for 10. That's how you can earn money! But first, the positive: friendly staff, used dishes were cleared away promptly, and there were plenty of food and drinks. So, that's about it for the positives. The food tasted and looked like it was from a cafeteria, the best part was the pumpkin soup. The meat was lukewarm and bland, the vegetables cold and tasteless. No trace of a festive Christmas dinner. You had to fetch all the drinks yourself, except for the wine. The wine glasses were simply refilled even when they weren't empty. The wine tasted sub-par and was served from a 1.5-liter bottle. Bottles were poured (I've never experienced that in a restaurant before), and all this for €59.00 per person, and the bit of cake for dessert wasn't much better. So, this was definitely our last time at the Städel, at Pflanzenkölle. For that money, I'd rather go out for a yummy meal where I'll be served. I just feel sorry for the Stadel staff because they have to deal with the guests' displeasure.
