McDonald's is McDonald's, no matter where you are. When you need a quick bite, it's the place to be. Cheap and cheerful (their patties are so-so).

It's become a bit cramped since the renovation. You practically need to be healthy to avoid a slipped disc on the new chairs. The seating is very close together, but otherwise nicely furnished...

Hello everyone, We ordered cappuccinos, but they arrived in paper cups. Furthermore, the coffee wasn't made with a professional coffee machine, as we're used to at McDonald's, but with a basic machine, resulting in a significantly lower quality drink. When we politely asked the staff to prepare a cappuccino of the usual quality, our request was ignored. They wouldn't even discuss it with us. We found this behavior extremely rude and disrespectful to the customers. We visit McDonald's regularly and expect a certain standard – both in terms of product quality and customer service. Unfortunately, we were very disappointed this time. And I won't be coming back!

The new McDonald's Heilbronn restaurant system doesn't give the warm welcome it once did, it's cold, it looks more like a factory dining room, there are no music or video displays, it's not welcoming at all, a shame 😞

When I order Käsespätzle Snackers, I expect Käsespätzle Snackers, not chicken nuggets. It's the same with you guys every time. I'm fed up...

In my personal opinion, the quality of the food at this location during busy hours felt lower than expected. After working there, I personally did not feel comfortable eating it anymore.

I ate here today and I have to say it deserves more than 5 stars, actually. The entire restaurant and even the restrooms were very clean. The staff were very friendly; they even came to our table to ask if everything was OK. That's a new level of service, something I've never experienced at McDonald's before. Keep it up!

Something's missing again. When I called Lieferando (who only handle deliveries), they referred me, but the employee hung up and wasn't willing to find a solution. Lieferando took care of it immediately, but as always with McDonald's orders, there's a problem.

Not a good place to have a quiet coffee on a Saturday morning. But the coffee was okay.

This McDonald's is a complete disaster. Every time I order here, whether at the drive-thru or in the restaurant, something is always missing, especially the sauces. They're often forgotten, and even though I'm eating in, the food is often very cold. The reason I'm writing this review is that I just asked for a new cup and was turned away by a very unfriendly employee, probably because of the Monopoly promotion. I even pointed out to the employee that I wanted a new cup because a strange boy, who had asked me for my Monopoly stickers, had touched it, which I explained to the employee. He then told his colleague to give me a cup, but to make sure the sticker was removed, even though he hadn't wanted to give me one in the first place. However, I must also say that there are one or two employees who are extremely nice, which I've noticed time and again. I've never seen this one unfriendly employee here before.

The app hasn't worked here since the renovation. It's incredibly frustrating when you pre-order a lot and then make the trip for nothing, because you can't complete large orders. Better to just get a kebab and avoid the hassle. Especially if you're from Heilbronn ;)

I ordered a Big Mac and ate it at home. Unfortunately, it was very salty and had a strong smoky taste. It also seems they used the wrong sauce. I could barely enjoy the food and was still hungry afterward. It's a shame, especially since I paid for it. I hope they pay more attention to quality and proper preparation next time.

The cleanliness and orderliness of this branch are a positive aspect. Additionally, there were flowers on the table, which I found very pleasing.

I noticed in your branch that several products were displayed on the menu or order tab, but your staff labeled them as "unavailable" or "not in stock." This is confusing and misleading for customers!

Why are you repeatedly NOT appearing in the McDonald's app? My wife and I don't think this is right. Maps and other portals say "NOW OPEN." You can't be found in the McDonald's app. Therefore, only 2 stars because this has happened several times before.

This is the third time I've forgotten my fries at the McDrive. When I go back, they only refund the fries and let me enjoy my cold burger. This was my last visit here.

Why does everyone always have to block Happenbacher Str for other traffic and then act like lower-class people when they're asked about it???

As with most MCs, the parking lot is a bit tight. And the parking itself could be a bit more spacious. Unfortunately, the property doesn't have much room for more. There is a small play area for small children, separated from the street by a fence.

Actually very good, but currently many parking spaces are unavailable due to construction work.

Disaster with the taste and also did not get what we wanted

Oppa would definitely be a rocket if he were to become a comedian. The staff are all top-notch, very personable, and simply wonderful... We'd love to come back.

McDonald's is always a good last-minute solution, for example, late at night. The coffee and ice cream here are very good, and everything else is quite good, but unfortunately, some components are getting steadily more expensive – AND – also undeniably smaller. The best example is the classic cheeseburger, which has really shrunk dramatically in recent years. If the cheeseburger still cost €1, that would be fine. Sure, everything is getting more expensive. But McDonald's is unfortunately overdoing it.

The food is delicious, they cook it quickly, the staff is friendly, but it's not clean everywhere.

I just did €85 shopping for my friends and me, and lo and behold, four burger meals from the new Chicken Big Mac were missing! What's the point? Do you really need to steal from people? Now three of my friends don't get anything to eat!!!!! What a place!!!!

One of the 4 terminals did not work. Tired of waiting for a family to occupy all 3 terminals. The hall and toilet are relatively clean. The fries were terrible. Dry. It’s obvious that they did it a long time ago and it was standing there to dry.

Correction to 3 stars because the Signature was canceled and the "Supreme" is just a bad Big Tasty. What happened to the awesome signature patty? Just sad. But apparently that's all it takes. The meat just tastes bland, so it could easily be a meat substitute. Original review: McDonalds has improved a lot. Both the food and the interior as well as the cleanliness are good. The fries are no longer soggy as they used to be and with the Signature Collection there is now a food that can actually be called a burger. One star deduction because the other "dishes" taste bland as usual and typically McDonald's. The signature burgers make all other “burgers” obsolete.

Ordered table service. Food then sat on the counter for 15 minutes, so the food then got cold. We complained immediately and the answer was “no more table service so late” - but nothing on the machine or in the app was deactivated! The fries were then exchanged in a completely unfriendly and reluctant manner - the burger was still cold and was not exchanged. Reporting to headquarters also takes place! That doesn't work at all.

Went to McDonald's today and was really in the mood for fresh fries - you know, hot, crispy, not those lukewarm things from the queue. So I ordered them without salt to make them fresh. So far everything is good. Then I politely ask for a little extra salt to enhance my gourmet experience - and boom, the manager comes with more resistance than the salt barrel itself! Discussion deluxe. Extra salt for fries without salt? Impossible! That would be even nicer – fries on request and then salt them individually? Anarchy! I even offered to buy the salt - yes, you read that right, I was willing to buy a few grains with hard currency. But she stood firm like a pillar of salt - no salt for you! Conclusion: Fries were hot, but the mood was frosty. A little more customer friendliness and a little less salt monarchy would be desirable. P.S.: If the salt is rationed - let me know, I'll bring some from home next time.

We just wanted to order at the drive-in, but no one answered the loudspeaker to at least say “just a moment, please”. Then we drove up and were ignored because the lady now seemed to have spoken. Only to then cheekily say to us at some point, “Yes, you’ll just have to wait.” Customer service at the DriveIn today is underground!!!! We then drove away without ordering.

A very unfriendly employee, an older woman, was overwhelmed with an order and needed a second colleague to prepare breakfast. We stood at the checkout for half an hour (me and three children). No good morning, no eye contact, just hectic. A little smile would do you good, lady!!! No go!!

It's just fast food. But it's very nicely decorated. You can order from the vending machine or directly at the counter, which I personally prefer. 👍

I just ordered something and a large french fry was forgotten. Normally I always look but today I didn't look and the fries were forgotten. I paid for it and it was on the invoice. I'm dissatisfied now.

Food quite good, McDonald’s… coffee recommended. Service was good so far, except that I got soaked and hardened sugar with my coffee, but I went ahead and got new, dry sugar. The only problem is the toilets. Smells disgustingly of urine and everything sticks. I don't want to know how hygiene otherwise prevails :/

I still don't like the food I'm not a fan of McDonald's My grandchildren drive me there

We have booked a children's birthday party. Unfortunately nothing was prepared, we were just supposed to order something to eat for the children. We didn't order a "big party" according to the website for this. Apart from a very nice employee, no one was interested in ruining a child's entire birthday. Only after insistence was the table cleaned and decorations brought and a cake thawed. We then made the best of it and entertained the children whenever possible. Apart from the nice older employee, the rest of the staff were annoyed. Why do you offer something for children if you don't feel like doing it? Very unfortunate.

The quality of food and portion sizes have changed a lot. The food is not tasty, and the prices are rising. And as always, they forget to put something in when you order to go

It's getting worse and worse. The third time I got cold fries (within 4 weeks) the burger was lukewarm. Taste leaves a lot to be desired. No thanks !!!

While all my friends had already finished eating, my food wasn't even there yet. I only had a Mc Smart menu + 1 chicken burger. At some point I got too stupid and went to the checkout because I didn't have any more time (school break). 1. My colleagues didn't even have my order on their radar and 2. when I wanted to eat everything quickly in the car later, I noticed that a chicken burger was missing. NO RECOMMENDATION!

I think table service was great and it was brought by a friendly lady. She pointed it out to us because of a survey about what was new this year. She later asked and we complained about the fries because they weren't fresh. When we were finished eating, I treated myself to a delicious McSunday ice cream with caramel sauce. Oops, where was the sauce? I only saw a blob. Okay ... I went to the counter and asked politely and nicely An employee asked me if I could get a dollop of sauce, but there was very little and I would have to look for it. Unfortunately, she looked at me strangely and all I got was a shake of the head. No answer. Either she was speechless after the question about the sauce or she couldn't talk. As a customer, I find that rude to me.

Salad, pure disaster. Tastes like cardboard! Guaranteed stomach ache. Sauce, so dressing ok but tastes 0.0 like salad.

Compared to all the other branches in Germany that I have visited, this one is by far the best! Super quick to prepare!

What can you say? A modernized McDonald with quick ordering via screen and delivery to the table, McDonald's has improved a bit in terms of quality, except for the fries, depending on the employee operating the machine, the fries are either sticky or made too hot and hard on the outside and raw on the inside. But the burgers have improved here. However, I don't think salad goes on a burger because the heat automatically turns the salad into mush. You can leave out the salad, but the concept of burger and salad is still inappropriate, something like that should be banned. The ambience varies from branch to branch but is still pleasant. There should be sockets at all tables, even third world countries have sockets everywhere in their branches so that you can still charge your electronic devices in comfort, but in Germany they are unfortunately only available on the stools tables. You should create more places with more privacy because the tables are so close to each other that you practically eat in each other's tables because the tablets take up so much space. One thing to complain about is that in almost every McDonald's only poorly speaking foreigners are put at the checkout if you don't order via the telephone terminal.

As a menstruating woman, you want a Mc Flurry, but you don't like chocolate sauce, but the only ice cream you like is the one with Oreo without chocolate sauce. But it is not available. Today October 2nd at 7:15 p.m. Mc Rip to take away with very little sauce, so no McDonald's, standard... My nephew didn't eat it because he didn't like it without sauce. Whoever did something must have been noticed... must have been intentional, you can see that, employees like that are damaging to McDonald's business.

Absolute dirt. Once again, the nuggets were absolutely disgusting. Rubbery, almost cold and not at all crispy. This branch is really the last resort and should be avoided.

Update September 20, 2024: Apparently fries are only defrosted and made lukewarm for a short time, and are no longer fried at all.

McD average quality but unfortunately very different waiting times and I'm explicitly not talking about peak times here - even if the parking lot is empty you'll find yourself standing around stupidly for a few minutes in front of the dead order column with a pick-up code - no return possible...

If you're from Heilbronn, you simply know MC Donald's. I have known him for around 35 years. Like so many others: ok. You can sit inside and outside. Small slide in front of the building.

I've known this restaurant since 1993 and I don't feel good about badmouthing it, but 3 things have to be said with the hope that they will finally get better. 1) The first one is more of a minor annoyance, but the sale of coffee, cappuccino, etc. stops very early, and there are people like me for whom a cappuccino is often a real reason to stop by McDonald's in the evening. 2) Well, now it's getting serious. If it's true that you can judge the cleanliness of a restaurant based on the condition of its toilets, then this McDonald's would have to be completely swept away. I'm anything but hypersensitive, but the smell of stale urine is unbearable in there and it's hard to believe that you're actually in a McDonald's toilet when you go in there. It's always a NIGHTMARE when me and my little one have to wash our hands before eating. It's not just the acrid smell and the used paper lying around (from drying your hands) that's the problem, but the taps used are also not a good choice. You have to press on it so that water comes out for a certain, short period of time, which is very unhygienic because that's exactly where everyone presses on it right after the toilet and you have to press on it again and again, even after you've rinsed your hands, if you still have a little Water is needed to completely wash off the soap so that you can then go out to eat with these hands and touch the citizens. Contactless taps are urgently needed (motion sensor) or the time for these mechanical taps should be extended at least 5 times so that you don't have to touch them again and again when washing your hands. 3) The slide for the children is a magnet for us because our child likes to play there. However, there is a very strong smell of vinegar there, there is probably waste from drinks very close by. Lastly, I would like to mention that when ordering in McDrive (by car) I saw cockroaches scurrying across the illuminated menu board a few times. That's not a nice greeting, even if it's not in the restaurant but outside! Otherwise I have nothing to complain about the food itself, it's a shame I can't give it 5 stars, but the reasons are serious.
