We had a wonderful evening and an excellent meal. I find it difficult to find good, authentic tapas. This was my absolute favorite. Whether vegetarian, fish, or meat, everything was incredibly delicious. Perfectly seasoned, especially the octopus, etc., which were very tender and flavorful. The service was also good, and the location was authentic and cozy. Tapas are always a bit pricey, but I found the value for money here to be fair. We'd love to come back—I'm thrilled. Thank you, Taberna Española team, for this culinary experience!
The good food and the friendly service are convincing, even if the size and type of the restaurant is more reminiscent of a snack bar. The food is delicious and the portions are good. You should also try the appetizers. With the bill there is a small shot from the house. The prices are completely okay. We'll definitely come back.
The food is always freshly prepared, today we had mussels, which have to be ordered in advance. A huge portion for 2 people.
The restaurant is a little outside, between Werl and Soest, but the journey is worth it. Reservation is recommended.
Once a chimichurri, always a chimichurri: This was our first dish at Mantanga, and we were completely won over. My wife and I visited today for the first time. We are very discerning restaurant-goers, and the tapas were very impressive – compared to other Spanish tapas restaurants: We had croquettes with Serrano ham, beef with chimichurri, empanadas (pulled pork and mushrooms), prawns, cheesecake – muy bien – muy delicacado – muy rico. The staff is super friendly and helpful. Another highlight is the restroom – not really worth mentioning in Berlin – but this restroom deserves a description: a pure rainforest feeling. Plants climb from the ceiling, accompanied by the sounds of thunderstorms and rain. The restroom becomes an oasis here.
We look forward to the next time.
