Der Besitzer war sehr nett und zuvorkommend. Da er in meinem Alter war, war das natürlich von Vorteil. Er ließ mich verschiedene Dinge probieren, die wirklich köstlich waren und nicht typisch für einen Dönerladen. Er scheint unkonventionell zu denken – so ähnlich wie Elon Musk. Wenn du mal die Gelegenheit hast, schau doch mal bei ihm vorbei und lass dich von ihm herausfordern. Ich glaube, du wirst nicht enttäuscht sein.

Ich habe jahrelang in Saarbrücken gewohnt und dort so ziemlich jeden bekannten Dönerimbiss ausprobiert. Muris Dönerhaus in Merzig schlägt sie alle. Was sofort auffällt, ist die Qualität der Zutaten. Das Grillgemüse ist frisch, die Saucen sind hausgemacht und schmecken wie selbst gemacht. Das absolute Highlight für mich sind die Pommes: Muri schneidet die Kartoffeln selbst frisch und frittiert sie à la minute. Der Unterschied zu tiefgekühlten Pommes ist sofort spürbar. Wer beim Döner etwas Neues ausprobieren möchte, dem empfehle ich den Gemüsedöner. Für Fans der türkischen Küche ist der klassische Lahmacun eine klare Empfehlung. Was das Ganze abrundet, ist Muri selbst. Er nimmt sich echte Zeit für seine Gäste, fragt nach und hat immer ein offenes Ohr. Man fühlt sich nicht wie ein weiterer Kunde, sondern wie ein willkommener Stammgast. Für Merzig und Umgebung ist das schlicht das Beste, was man in diesem Segment bekommen kann.

Warum nur Hähnchenfleisch? Warum nicht mehr Auswahl an Gemüse? Ansonsten geschmacklich top Aber wie gesagt, nimm dir ein Beispiel am Berliner Gemüsekebab in Saarbrücken oder Trier Okay, Aktualisierung Ich habe zweimal bei dir gegessen okay dann ist das ein Hähnchen Putengemisch oder was auch immer was du verkaufst ! Trotzdem bist du im Vergleich Mit der Konkurrenz im Saarland echt teuer mit echt wenig Inhalt ! Wenn du mal in Saarbrücken oder so essen würdest oder würdest du mich verstehen, wenn du das nicht kannst sei nicht in deinem stolz verletzt !

Bei Muri bekommt jeder etwas Leckeres nach seinem Geschmack, egal ob mit Fleisch, vegetarisch oder vegan! Ich möchte die Gelegenheit nutzen, um vor allem von dem veganen Lahmacun zu schwärmen, was man auf Nachfrage bekommen kann. Als Füllung kann man aus dem Salatangebot wählen, das knusprig frittierte Gemüse genießen und nach Geschmack noch saftige Falafeln hinzufügen. Als Soße gibt es eine vegane Mayonnaise, welche wirklich lecker schmeckt und nicht den typisch säuerlichen Mayo Geschmack hat. Daher eignet sie sich sehr gut als Dönersoße (ich war zuerst etwas skeptisch, aber völlig unbegründet). Muri findet also wirklich für jeden ein passendes Menü, auch für solche Sonderwünsche :) ich bin sehr glücklich in unserer Gegend ein veganes Gericht essen zu können, was rundum lecker ist und nicht nur aus Pommes mit Ketchup besteht. Lecker, freundlich und familiär. Sehr entspannter Ladenbesitzer und gutes Essen. Einziger Minuspunkt ist der Salat ist etwas langweilig und man kann nur bar bezahlen. Würde den Laden aber jeden wärmstens empfehlen! 😎

Ich gehe immer wenn ich Pause habe zu Muri essen, das essen ist sehr gut und sehr lecker 😋 und er ist sehr lieb und nett.

Bin regelmäßig da, schmeckte bisher immer vorzüglich. Man kann sich immer gut unterhalten. Alles sehr sauber. Kann dieses Dönerhaus wirklich wärmstens empfehlen!

The Muri vegetable döner tastes good! But there's far too little vegetables. In Saarbrücken or Trier, you get much more for your money. The fries are a finished product like the Subway ones. The main thing is to take money out of their pockets.

We stopped here on our way back to England, the owner is very friendly and spoke very good English. He served us in a very professional manner and his kebab was delicious.

Today was the last time I went there. I always tipped €2 or €3, and the food always tasted good. However, today I ordered a large kebab and could have eaten two more... It was so small, it's just ridiculous. There was more cabbage than meat (white cabbage + lettuce), and the bread was rock hard. It's better to go to Mustafa's; at least you get value for your money there.

Always a dream! I ate at Muri with two friends – as we often do every few weeks – and it was, as always, top-notch. The service is super friendly and fast. We're always particularly impressed by the spicy sauce, the delicious cheese, and the vegetables that give the kebab that special something. You can only get it all here. Was recommended by word of mouth and what can I say, I was there for the second time within a week. To describe it in my words: "Simply awesome!" The first kebab after which I'm full but don't "overeat". The meat is delicious, not really fatty. The sauce is subtle, not too strong. The salad was fresh and delicious and the fries...absolutely amazing. I can definitely recommend Muri and his kebab, you still get quality here. I also drive a few more kilometers for this.

After several recommendations, I went to Muri and made my first impression. Great location, very friendly owner, even the customers who came were particularly friendly. But the best, of course, was the Muri kebab with vegetables and meat. I got it for a family celebration and I have to say, all the kebabs were the same. Super fresh ingredients that, when combined, created a taste explosion. Of course, the fresh homemade fries shouldn't be forgotten either. (Hammer). Really currently the best kebab I have eaten and it is far different from others.

The quality has deteriorated significantly, so the price-performance ratio is no longer suitable.

Good kebab shop with a friendly chef. Although the prices here are €2 higher than the local competitors, the meat content of the dishes is significantly higher and the vegetable side dishes are also impressive. Definitely one of the best in terms of taste. The store can certainly be improved a bit when it comes to the “coziness factor”. Today we have a kebab that was long overdue to be presented to you.  The first and my best vegetable kebab I've ever eaten.  To enjoy this gem you have to go to Muri's Dönerhaus in Merzig 👌🏼 Another young restaurateur who knows how to pamper his guests.  4.8⭐️ with almost 300 reviews speaks for itself. That's why I had to go to Merzig to treat myself to this good piece 🤤 One thing in advance, the trip was worth it 😍  A nice crusty bread and nice and fluffy inside paired with great quality meat and 100% fresh salads and then refined with vegetables fried in special oil 🤤🤤 I also had both sauces and cheese that was chopped up and sprinkled over the kebab. All in all an absolute 🔥🧨vegetable kebab 💪🏽 But that's not all. The fries are ultimately good.  Thin potato slices slightly thicker than chips fried in the special oil, top top top 👌🏼 Can you top all of this? Yes.. The owner ultimately does everything perfectly. If the bread had been baked myself or the skewer had been inserted myself, I would understand the price. However, unfortunately it is disproportionately expensive. Doner itself is still delicious. But nothing justifies this price.
