I love this little place in Maxvorstadt. The pizza is excellent, service is fast and friendly, and the drinks are cheaper than similar drinks elsewhere. Definitely going to make this my regular pizza spot!
We registered with a large group at relatively short notice. Very friendly contact, great food, friendly staff. Everything perfect. Can really recommend. And we would love to come back...
Good food, a bit expensive, took a while to bring it, even though the restaurant wasn't very busy.
Cleanliness of the toilet.
Beautiful view of a central square.
Unfortunately, our visit was disappointing. The meat at the Adana was partly raw and undercooked – an absolute no-go. The rice was far too soft and overcooked. We tried the food but couldn't finish it because it was truly inedible.
What bothered us most was that when we politely expressed our criticism, the manager didn't acknowledge it. Instead of showing understanding, she immediately became dismissive. It wasn't about the money – we just wanted to give honest feedback. It's a shame that the response was so unprofessional.
The service is friendly and the ambiance is average Italian. Unfortunately, the pizzas were so bad that I really wonder how this restaurant gets such high ratings. The dry, thin crust, with equally thin and carelessly topped pizzas, was a disgrace—a frozen pizza is three times better (and doesn't cost €16).
Maybe it's the pasta that's good here? It must be. I won't know because I'm simply too disappointed to come back.
Difficult.
The service was really nice. The meat was okay.
But: Cash only. Waited 1:10 for the food. 90s ambiance. No drinks menu.
Like almost all the other tables, we had duck with various sauces. It was really all the standard fare you'd find at the Chinese takeaway at the train station. It's exactly the same sauces, the same vegetables, and therefore the same taste.
What's strange is that the duck always comes on a bed of standard sauce with standard vegetables. The only difference between the dishes is the bowl containing the sauce you actually ordered.
So we sat in this time machine to the 90s, surrounded by cheeky hairstyles and trendy glasses, and unfortunately, we didn't experience anything special. Except for a hefty bill.
For the life of me, I can't understand how anyone could give it 5 stars.
Unfortunately, the gyro plate has become much too expensive at €16.50... in Dülken, a larger portion costs €10. The price difference is too big, which is why I haven't been there since.
