I had made a reservation in advance for my birthday and, based on a recommendation, had put together a small menu. It was on the table with prices, which I didn't understand. I had invited my guests, after all. When we came to the table, one dish was already sold out. When I asked if there was an alternative, the waiter was very unfriendly. A terrible atmosphere developed; he was also very unfriendly towards my guests, even though it had been brought to his attention. The service that evening was a disaster. Nothing was offered, no dessert, no coffee as discussed beforehand. I would definitely not go there again with a group. The food was still great. After the disastrous evening, the waiter called me and apologized, which was a very nice gesture. The bottom line is, even in difficult situations, you always have to remain friendly in service, because nothing is more important than word of mouth.

The food was okay, but unfortunately, that was about it. Card payments were apparently not possible due to a defect – according to other reviews, this seems to be a permanent problem. The service was poor: an overly stressed team shouting at each other in front of the guests, even though the number of guests could have been easily managed. We had called ahead and were promised a table, but were left standing there and seated rather reluctantly. During our stay, the staff seemed inattentive, and we felt unwelcome. It's a shame – there's much more potential here.

Don't let the ambiance put you off. The food was fantastic, everything fresh and homemade! Highly recommended.

Very relaxed atmosphere and ample parking. I had goulash soup and pork fillet medallions with spaetzle. The soup was hearty and the fillets were beautifully tender in a delicious sauce. The homemade spaetzle was also very good; all in all, delicious Swabian food! Highly recommended!

I'd be happy to come back anytime. My Swabian plate is simply amazing.

A wide selection of dishes, many of them Swabian. The flavors are good, and the portions are sufficient to fill you up. And, above all, the value for money is good. Here, you can still eat well and affordably in a pleasant atmosphere. Unfortunately, there are hardly any restaurants like this anymore. The drinks aren't overpriced either.

I went there for lunch with my family, and I was absolutely thrilled. The ox cheeks I had were delicious, and the staff were always friendly and accommodating. All in all, a very enjoyable lunch for us, and we'd love to come back.

I can't really comment on the food or anything. We arrived at the campsite and wanted something to eat. When we got to the restaurant, we were rather rudely informed that all the tables were fully booked. There were empty tables that should have been occupied for an hour. We weren't even offered the option to come back later because something would become available. We were there before 6 p.m. We won't be coming back.

Simply wow. The "Schwabenteller" catapulted us straight into culinary paradise: three different types of meat, each tender, juicy, and full of flavor – the highlight of our entire trip. The atmosphere is exactly what you'd imagine Swabia to be: cozy, inviting, and full of charm. You can almost hear Grandma in the kitchen secretly eyeing the spaetzle. The only downside – the banana juice was out, so my beloved wheat beer with banana juice had to make way for a shandy. 😆 But hey, that was delicious too. Conclusion: Tommy's Gastronomie is a real must-try – and the "Schwabenteller" alone is worth the trip! 🍴

Once again in this beautiful, Quietly located restaurant with a great beer garden Service is very friendly and funny, they take time for the visitors. The food was, as always, a dream. My roast, Cindy's Pfännle, was perfect, my friend's meal, the beef cheeks, was also a culinary delight. The location is quiet and also ideal for a walk. I hope this restaurant continues to exist. That's what defines it, namely our culture. Will definitely spread word of mouth and recommend and we will definitely be back. Simply MEGA had reserved in advance when we arrived there was already a lot going on. Top service, very friendly staff. Had a Swabian plate Roast fillet and Maultaschen. Meat top quality but the Maultaschen was absolutely MEGA awesome. I would say 10 stars. Definitely come back 👍👍👍

Yesterday we celebrated our civil wedding in a small family atmosphere at Tommy's. We felt completely comfortable. The Communication in advance was super relaxed, uncomplicated and reliable. We were allowed to put up our own decorations the day before in a special hall that had been prepared in advance just for us. When we arrived at the restaurant on our wedding day, everything was perfectly prepared, the timing was as discussed and flexible for us. We ordered a buffet, which really had a great selection and overall there was a very good amount. We allowed our guests to take the rest that was left home with us. After the delicious buffet, you could order dessert (cake or ice cream), which was very well received by our guests. The portions here were also very large. Overall, that was it Price-performance ratio unbeatable for such a great kitchen. We will come back and definitely celebrate one or two festivals there. Many thanks to the entire team!

Great service in a typically nostalgic clubhouse. Absolutely the highest quality homemade food in each of the 10 dishes we chose at the table. But unfortunately no convenient payment. Here the so-called open cash register is still being collected, which has put a strong damper on this wonderful evening. Luckily my guests didn't see that anymore. Addendum to the team's answer: A highly digitalized cash register with many useful features is available between €50 and €250 per month with a monthly cancellation option including 24/7/365 personal support service and great service for the Internet. Nowadays you can equip entire branch systems for €12 thousand.

Were there for the third time. Twice good!! However, today after the stingy Swabian plate with additional salad plates we were still hungry, today there was only half as much as usual. (Mini Loin was very dry) Pizza was still needed afterwards. So that we were full. You wait until the guests are ready and just add another table, that's not possible. You don't bang the table together. Especially when disabled people are almost unable to get up. For hygienic reasons, a cat/tomcat (dog) has to be ON the counter and in Nothing to look for locally. No dogs, cats or any other animals are allowed in the kitchen area of ​​a restaurant. That's a no go sorry

On a Sunday morning we walked around the hiking car park in front of the restaurant and at the end we spontaneously asked Tommy's if they had a place for us? With luck and a nice note that you would be happy to offer us a seat, but that the table would be needed again in an hour due to a reservation, we were able to stay. We were very positively surprised. All the employees were very friendly. The range of food and drinks is extensive and the prices are really very fair. Special requests were taken into account and the kitchen even asked questions about safety so that everything would fit. The most important thing, our food (1x Swabian plate, 1x Maultaschen) was very tasty. We were completely satisfied and will definitely come back!

The onion roast was super tender, the melted Maultaschen were very tasty and the side salad was also delicious. The staff was attentive and friendly. We had a lovely dinner on the terrace. We can highly recommend this location and we will come back.

I was in Hechingen and was looking for a restaurant with authentic Swabian cuisine for my in-laws from abroad. We definitely found what we were looking for here. The food was just perfect. Both the (cheese) spaetzle, the medallions and the roast beef. The price is reasonable for the quality and the size. I can only recommend it to everyone

We came across this restaurant by chance and were very pleasantly surprised that this honest, good, traditional Swabian cuisine with really high quality meat still exists. The roast is tender as butter, the spaetzle is tossed in butter and the fried potatoes are just like you make them at home. The sauces really, like the other comments, are a dream. The service is good, the terrace was very comfortable, people like to spend time here. At the end of the bill, the price/performance ratio was really fair, we will definitely come back!
