Good cuisine at pleasant prices

On a Sunday morning we walked around the hiking car park in front of the restaurant and at the end we spontaneously asked Tommy's if they had a place for us? With luck and a nice note that you would be happy to offer us a seat, but that the table would be needed again in an hour due to a reservation, we were able to stay. We were very positively surprised. All the employees were very friendly. The range of food and drinks is extensive and the prices are really very fair. Special requests were taken into account and the kitchen even asked questions about safety so that everything would fit. The most important thing, our food (1x Swabian plate, 1x Maultaschen) was very tasty. We were completely satisfied and will definitely come back!

The food was very tasty and sufficient portions. The service was friendly and in a very good mood. I can recommend it.

Food is good and plentiful. There are even a few dishes to choose from for vegetarians. When we were there it was very busy and therefore quite loud, but the service still worked. Prices very reasonable.

The food was really good. It was quite busy, so it always took a while until someone could be reached. The service was very nice and also child-friendly. I recommend a reservation. Unfortunately, some spontaneous guests had to leave because there was no more space (outside). I can recommend the onion roast. It was the way you like it: medium rare, tender meat. The portions are reasonably large.

We went to this restaurant attracted by the reviews and I must say that the high ratings were fully deserved, a truly good place.

Payment only possible with cash is bad.

The food wasn't tasty at all, the sauce was too salty, the roast beef was completely bloody and not fried at all... the staff is overloaded with themselves, that was my last visit

We were here as a group for dinner on Saturday. We were warmly welcomed and the service was attentive and quick. Everyone ate different dishes at the same time. Every single meal was delicious. We would all be happy to come back and would be happy to recommend Tommy's

Very tasty and fresh food, I've been there several times and everything was very fresh and good, homemade spaetzle and sauces, the meat was cooked to perfection and the staff and boss were very friendly and accommodating. The onion roast was super tender, the melted Maultaschen were very tasty and the side salad was also delicious. The staff was attentive and friendly. We had a lovely dinner on the terrace. We can highly recommend this location and we will come back.

Discovered at short notice, tried it out, everything was great. We had a side salad, bacon cheese spaetzle and Tommy's forest schnitzel. Portions plentiful, service super accommodating.

I was in Hechingen and was looking for a restaurant with authentic Swabian cuisine for my in-laws from abroad. We definitely found what we were looking for here. The food was just perfect. Both the (cheese) spaetzle, the medallions and the roast beef. The price is reasonable for the quality and the size. I can only recommend it to everyone

As always great! Great service, a lot of it is homemade (you can still hear people knocking) and a great price-performance ratio. You can see where the food comes from because it's on the menu. Big praise for that. Always happy ☺️

What an economy should be like! Really good (very good!) home-style food and everything homemade by the boss. No matter whether Maultaschen, schnitzel or roast roast: everything is extremely delicious! And which menu still has traditional Swabian delicacies such as cured beef tongue or roast beef and pork?? Correct! ONLY with Tommy! We have been there so many times and have been thrilled every time. Cheers! 🤌🤌🤌

We ended up at Tommy's by accident because we were on the swing path and got hungry. We were thrilled by the delicious food, the friendliness of the staff and also the extremely moderate price-performance ratio (we sometimes paid significantly more for average cuisine) and will definitely come back.

Very tasty food, we didn't have to wait long for it. The waitresses are very nice.

Highly recommended!!! I went to Tommy's for the first time with my husband on our wedding day and it was simply delicious. Not only was the food absolutely perfect, but also the ambience and the very nice and attentive service team. We'll definitely be back!

We came across this restaurant by chance and were very pleasantly surprised that this honest, good, traditional Swabian cuisine with really high quality meat still exists. The roast is tender as butter, the spaetzle is tossed in butter and the fried potatoes are just like you make them at home. The sauces really, like the other comments, are a dream. The service is good, the terrace was very comfortable, people like to spend time here. At the end of the bill, the price/performance ratio was really fair, we will definitely come back! We can particularly recommend the Swabian plate, as you can try a great selection here.

Restaurant near the campsite where we are staying, also convenient by bike, 500 meters away, but if you go by car there is convenient parking. Always good typical dishes and excellent beer

Had a lovely dinner at Tommy’s after a long drive. Food was great and the staff very friendly. Everyone there seemed to have a nice time👍. The terrace area is great and the Maultaschen were delicious. There’s also a little playground next to the restaurant.

Top address! Everything we've had so far has been simply delicious - and homemade! Great value for money, large portions - great! My favorites: beef cheeks, Cindy’s fillet pans, pepper steak - and of course the hot stone!

So this was a hidden gem! We got here by looking for an authentic restaurant on Google maps while in the area. Food was delicious! No English menu. Very friendly staff which tried to explain the menu. It was fun trying to figure out what to order (just not schnitzel again!). Worth a second visit if I get the chance! Soups are tasty and worth it! Order 2! ;)

The beer garden is gigantic - it's very nice to sit in... unfortunately it was too cold. It was packed inside. But the service was perfect. I didn't eat anything myself, but others were very satisfied

We were there today for a confirmation, despite the fact that there were 3 confirmations so a total of 60-80 people, everything was to our complete satisfaction. The only thing you can say is that the onion roast was a little more than medium rare but that can happen given the number of roasts. It was really big and still very tasty. We would love to go there again for dinner.

Food was ok. Service often seemed a bit overwhelmed but friendly. Ambience is a matter of taste, a bit old-fashioned for me.

Be sure to reserve in advance and be on time. After a delay of 30 minutes (traffic, HD reception) we were greeted rudely. The food was, as always, very good. The service attentive.

Leckeres Essen ich gemütlicher Atmosphäre.

Absolut leckere Küche mit teilweise Gerichten die man nicht mehr überall findet. Zum Glück haben die Kinder nicht leer gegessen. Sonst wäre mir die Portion zu klein gewesen. Dafür aber total lecker.

Ich bin zufällig dorthin weil ich Hunger hatte und Google mit dies anzeigte. Ich war begeistert. Das Essen war allererste Sahne. Ich hatte saure Nierle. Wirklich ein Gedicht. Ich bin so begeistert das ich demnächst mit der Verwandtschaft dorthin gehen werde.

Wir haben hier sehr lecker gegessen!!!! Sehr gute Fleischqualität, regional!...Und sehr gemütliche Atmosphäre 👌❤️👍

Top Essen! Sehr zu empfehlen für schwäbische und gut bürgerliche Gerichte. WC groß und sauber, Parkplatz direkt vor dem Gebäude, große Terrasse, seher freundliche und zuvorkommende Bedienung.

Schützenhaus mit genialer Küche. Die Klassiker des Metzgers auf den Teller gebracht. Lecker ist kein Ausdruck, man bemerkt die Liebe zum Produkt, und das hochwertige Produkt. Offenbar alles hausgemacht. Service 1a. Preis/Leistung 1a. Ambiente im Stil eines älteren Schützenhauses, passt aber zu allem. Großer und gemütlicher Biergarten. Ausreichend Parkraum ums Haus. 5* verdient mit guter schwäbischer Küche.

Der Zwiebelrostbraten war einfach super. Das Essen hätte nicht besser sein können. Das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis ist unschlagbar. Wir waren rundum begeistert. Wir schauen wieder vorbei!!!

Das Essen war hervorragend, Tisch wurde im Freien reserviert, worüber wir uns sehr freuten und der Service war echt klasse, besonders Ercan hat uns den Aufenthalt sehr angenehm gestaltet. War zum ersten Mal hier zum Essen grosse Terrasse schön zu sitzen essen hervorragend hatten zwiebelrostbraten und besonders die sossen genial 100 Prozent zum weiterempfehlen

Hier würde ich gerne mehr Sterne geben wenn ich könnte! Wir wurden herzlich empfangen, obwohl wir nicht reserviert hatten. (Man sollte Aber reservieren!) Wir waren mit dem Gutscheinbuch da. Sie haben einen schön großen überdachten Biergarten und auf jedem Stuhl ein Polster für die Bequemlichkeit! Super!😊 Die Auswahl beim Cola war schon ungewöhnlich es gibt normale Cola, Cola light und auch Cola Zero, find ich super!👍 Nun kommen wir zum Essen.... absolute Superklasse 🤩 schon der nicht überteuerte Beilagensalat war superlecker. Dieser hatte verschiedene Salate im Schälchen, Karottensalat Bohnensalat, Kartoffelsalat, Krautsalat, Gurkensalat und Grüner Salat obenauf mehrere kleine halbierte Tomaten und etwas Paprika und Zwiebelringe die Salatsoße war auch sehr lecker, ich habe sie ausgetrunken... bloß nix verkommen lassen!😉 Dann hatte ich einen Schwabenteller, dieser beinhaltete einen kleinen Zwiebelrostbraten auf den Punkt gebraten mit leckeren knusprigen Röstzwiebeln und dunkler Soße, eine große Maultasche und ein Schweinefilet dieses hatte eine Champignonrahmsose. Dazu gab es leckere Spätzle. Ihr könnt nachher auf den Fotos sehen, dass es eine Wahnsinns Portion ist, da verhungert keiner!🙃 Mein Mann hatte Tommy's Waldschnitzel mit Pommes (Schweinenackensteak mit Pilzen überbacken) auch super lecker! Meine Empfehlung, wenn ihr dort (bei Hechingen) in der Gegend seid, geht da hin es lohnt sich!😋😋😋👍👍👍 Preis Leistung sagenhaft!👍👍

Hervorragende Küche! Rumpsteak nicht zu klein, Schwaben Teller Top, Salat auch, Reihenfolge so wie es sein soll. Die Jungs und Mädels sind fix und zuvorkommend. Vor allem aber auch nett. Kann mir nur wünschen das ihr den Politischen Schwachsinn überlebt. Hier passt auch noch Preis und Leistung! Weiter so. Wir kommen gerne wieder!!!

Super Essen, sehr schöne Karte mit viele schwäbischen Klassikern welche es leider so fast nirgends mehr gibt. Sehr schneller und sehr freundlicher Service, volle fünf Sterne und Daumen hoch dafür, kommen sehr gerne wieder!

Sehr schönes Restaurant mit freundlichen Mitarbeiter und leckeren Essen, was will man mehr schone Terrasse

Wir waren an einem sehr heissen Sommertag ca. eine halbe Stunde vor Küchenöffnung an der Gaststätte und hatten problemlos schon etwas zu Trinken bekommen. Die Wartezeit wurde durch das unterhaltsame Spiel zweier "Gaststättenkatzen" mehr als verkürzt. Eine Umbestellung des Schwabentellers mit Pommes anstatt Spätzle wurde ohne Aufpreis angenommen. Vorab ein grosser bunter Salat rundete das hervorragende Essen ab. Als meiner Frau der Handyakku zur Neige ging, durften wir das Handy selbstverständlich aufladen ! Alles in Allem ist Tommys nur zu empfehlen. Nur an der Beschilderung auf dem Weg zur Gaststätte (es gibt nämlich keine ;-)) könnte noch gearbeitet werden.

Die Spezialität des Hauses, Zwiebelrostbraten, war perfekt, genauso die selbstgemachten Spätzle und die Soße. Ein herrliches Erlebnis! Die Reservierung lief hervorragend und der Service war super. Wir kommen, wenn wir in der Nähe sind, sehr gerne wieder.
