Because of the deceptively good reviews, we spontaneously went out to eat here and were disappointed, as we had often had good Vietnamese food in Munich, even at low prices. Unfortunately, this restaurant is not one of them! ...NO SUSHI on site as mentioned on the online map ...According to the waiter, the sashimi platter and avocado salad will not be on offer for a long time ...on the recommendation of an alternative dish that would cool you down on hot days, I was recommended a rice noodle bowl with vegetarian spring rolls, which could also be made with beef. I accepted this, but no beef came with it. The bowl only consisted of lukewarm rice noodles, very few pieces of cucumber with very bitter peel, dill, parsley and basil as well as soy sauce. There was no extra sauce at the table (just spiciness and onions). It was boring (pure soy sauce) and not enough. The filling of the spring rolls was vegetable puree that tasted like Maggi vegetable broth. Considering that the spring rolls only cost €15.50 as a starter, the price is unjustified. The ornamental vegetables and fruits on my companion's plate were dried out, and the apple pieces were already curling at the edge. The waiter made himself scarce even though we were the only guests inside. At some point the colleague who was serving the only other table outside came and finally asked if something was wrong. But no offer to bring the beef or additional, different sauce, a small side salad, peanuts on top, anything! At least the complaint was translated to the chef. It should also be mentioned that the coasters require a special sense of humor that is not family-friendly and, as a woman, made me uncomfortable on a date: doggy style, now we're fucking! However, the summer rolls and the gyoza as starters were very tasty, made with fresh ingredients and came with sufficient, tasty sauces that made you want to eat the main courses... Unfortunately, this hope was disappointed.

We discovered this restaurant by chance and it has been one of our absolute favorite restaurants ever since. A must have when visiting is the delicious coconut soup. We would particularly like to highlight the super-loving and attentive staff. We always enjoy coming here and look forward to our next visit.

The vegetables here are crispy, fresh and cooked with a bite. Dark rice is standard here and the service is friendly and uncomplicated! Food from Vietnam doesn't get much better in Munich...

Fresh and delicious food that was accompanied and served by very good service. The price level is rather low for Munich. Two main courses, two large drinks and an espresso for €41. We left the Coconut Bowl fed up and completely satisfied and will definitely come back at the next opportunity.

They served the meal with a herb in it. The herb had dirt all over it, clearly unwashed. I asked the waitress if they washed the herb and she said that it's a decoration and that's why they didn't wash it. But it was in the meal. It was touching the food. That's a good way to get worms. Extremely unhygienic.

I'm looking for the best Phõ in town with my girlfriend and this one is at the top of our list This time not classic beef, but chicken and the whole thing actually in chicken broth (unfortunately this is often not the case, only the ingredient is swapped). The taste is very tasty, fresh herbs and sprouts on top - perfect. Service was super friendly, I agree with the many good reviews.

Very slow service. Had to wait more than an hour for our food. However the food was good.

The food is mediocre at best, maybe there are too many good Vietnamese around to. compare with. The place looks quite nice, so we gave it a shot. However the food was relatively plain in taste and did not reach the quality of the average Vietnamese restaurant I am used to. (and I eat a lot of it) Sauces were off and ingredients that should be there were missing, throughout every dish we ordered from simple starters like summer rolls to pho and rice noodle dishes - all were lacking something. The service was very friendly but overall I would not return.

Ich habe 3x hier bestellt und war 1x vor Ort essen und war jedes Mal begeistert. Sehr lecker, kurze Wartezeit, ausgesprochen guter Service. Das Ambiente ist auch sehr schön. Und richtig leckeres Sushi. Ich würde jederzeit wieder hier essen.

Ein ausgezeichnetes Restaurant mit teils besonderem Essen. Ich gehe gerne asiatisch Essen, aber ein Gericht mit Betelblättern ist mir vor dem Coconut Bowl noch nicht begegnet. Sehr lecker und empfehlenswert!

Ich gehe schon seit mehreren Jahren zu cocnut bowl. Das Essen ist wirklich gut und frisch. Habe noch nie schlecht gegessen egal was ich bestellt habe. Die Bedienung ist sehr nett und zuvorkommend. Haben sogar unserer Tochter immer Reis geschenkt. Ist auch top zum liefern über wolt. Besonders zu empfehlen ist die pho Suppe. Die ist nirgendwo so gut wie hier.

Preislich super, schnelle und nette Bedienung und das Essen war echt toll!!😻 das Restaurant an sich ist auch sehr einladend🥰 und es gab auch sehr leckere glutenfreie Bällchen in Kokossoße zum Nachtisch…ich war im siebten Himmel🤤

Freundliches Restaurant in der Nähe von zu Hause. Wir waren zweimal dort und waren begeistert. Das Essen ist wirklich köstlich und es wurde auch eine sehr interessante Ente mit Apfel zubereitet. Sie akzeptieren nur EC-Karten.

Endlich eine wirklich knusprige Ente. Ganz toll mit hoi sin sauce und Gemüse. Die pho war auch ein Traum! Für Freunde des vietnamesischen Essens sehr empfehlenswert.

Muy bueno todo y muy amables. A tener en cuenta: si sois extranjeros vale la pena pedir el menú diario y traducirlo (diferencia de unos 5e por plato con la carta) y no aceptan pagos con VISA o MasterCard, llevad efectivo.

Das Essen war leider nur ok, die Ente lauwarm, die kalte Tamarindensoße grenzwertig. Der Service schließt sich dem leider an, zwar grundsätzlich freundlich, aber es wurden mehrfach falsche Gerichte serviert und keine Anstalten gemacht, diese nochmal gegen die eigentliche Bestellung auszutauschen, die Wartezeit war trotz wenig besuchtem Lokal viel zu lange und wirklich aufmerksam war der Service auch nicht. Die Einrichtung war einfach und nichts besonderes, etwas China-Bistro like.
