The food was very tasty, the iced tea was very sweet, but also tasted great :) The service is really very good, that's why we would come again!

The restaurant recently reopened. I am thrilled with the facility. The meals were very good. Parking spaces are scarce.

I know this restaurant from its beginnings (Leo Li). I come here more often every year because of the dishes (extremely tasty), the staff (excellent service). This is one of the three restaurants on Riesenfeldstrasse that I always recommend. The restaurant is very popular; I strongly recommend making a reservation in advance.

The pho wasn't bad, it's decent pho, but wow, almost 20 euros for ~average pho is quite remarkable. Maybe in Munich this is normal? Also some weird rules where if I want to purchase still water, it needs to be bottled and can't come from the tap. Are microplastics from bottled water not a concern in Germany?

It was quite empty, but for no reason! The food was very tasty and the service was incredibly nice!

We happened to have lunch here recently and the lunch menu and all other prices were absolutely fine. The food was good. The lychee spritzer was a bit thin. The staff had a bit of difficulty with German, but that's okay.

I don't understand why the Google review rating is so high. They are very unfriendly and give different menus to each customer. People who say fried rice is very bland and delicious have probably never eaten fried rice before.

To be honest I never found any Vietnamese restaurant as good as in USA…. The mango salad is ok

We had a really delicious meal. Service top - fast and very friendly. The only thing we didn't like was the location right on the street, but you know that beforehand.

Wir hatten einen Tisch im Außenbereich. Dieser liegt direkt an einer Straße. Da wir am Sonntagmittag dort waren, war nicht allzuviel Verkehr und deshalb ok. Die Vorspeisen (Sommerrollen und Dim Sum), sowie die Hauptgerichte (Bun Bo Sa und Bun Vit) waren sehr lecker. Das Personal war sehr freundlich und aufmerksam. Wir waren sehr zufrieden und können das Anh Tien weiterempfehlen.

Super freundlicher und aufmerksamer Service und richtig gutes Essen zu fairen Preisen.

Super nice staff and very tasty food, we felt very comfortable.

It was our first time there and my expectations were quite high based on the positive reviews. We all found the cocktails to be too sweet and a bit bland, although they were presented attractively. The food was also rather unspectacular, but this could be because we mainly tried Thai dishes and not the classic Vietnamese specialties. I therefore found the price-performance ratio unconvincing. However, the service was very friendly and I might go again to try something different.

We went to the restaurant because of the good reviews. Unfortunately our food was a bit tasteless and the portions were a bit small. The quality of the food is good, but for us it could have been a little spicier.

Very nice Vietnamese restaurant. Towards the evening the traffic on Riesenfeldstrasse dies down and in summer you can enjoy your meal at one of the tables outside. If the weather is good, you should definitely make a reservation on the weekend.

We are Vietnamese people who come to support Vietnamese restaurants. The beef pho is okay, the duck and salad are delicious. I was planning on giving it 5 stars until: I went to the bathroom and heard them talking bad about us very loudly. They probably thought no one would listen and understand. When I went to the bathroom, my husband called to pay but the waitress didn't seem to answer. Thinking that she hadn't heard, he repeated it again. I was in the bathroom and heard clearly: "pay for the Vietnamese table", "pay for him, he's calling", "fuck that bad guy". I was really shocked because I thought that Vietnamese people meet each other, support each other and should unite together, but she showed such an attitude behind her customers' backs. I remind everyone not to be mistaken: we were in Germany and Austria for 2 weeks and understand the culture of queuing, waiting, being patient and polite. But I was very disappointed with her attitude (an older woman with a Southern accent) who not only disrespected customers but also disrespected Vietnamese people, and my husband was very happy and didn't know what was being said. If you like good food, this restaurant has very good food, but they won't respect you.

Delicious lunch for a good price.

Very nice staff and exceptionally good Pho Bo soup with beef broth. Salad with mango and duck was also excellent. It's best to order in advance and come with a scooter 🛴 or bike because parking is in short supply there 😉.

Been there many times and never been disappointed. The food is very tasty and the service is very friendly. If you pick up food, you can also bring your own packaging if you wish. We are always happy to come back.

I went here around 6 pm on May 24th when a few people were dining in, expecting some pho and soup, but the overall experience was disappointing. First, the beef on the pho is too thick and dry, like it's overcooked. Second, the crispy duck in the summer roll is not crispy at all, and the meat is hard to bite off because of the duck skin. It tastes like a boiled or steamed duck and the meat is also dry. The third and most disgusting thing is I found a dead insect in the pho soup after I finished the rice noodles and even drank some of the soup. I didn't see it before maybe it's because the insect body is covered under the beef and noodles. I complained to the owner and only got a reply "It's just a small insect and you already ate all the pho so you have to pay". Of course, I know I have to pay for what I eat, but this situation is different. If I found the insect before eating, I wouldn't touch the food at all and I wouldn't eat in this restaurant at all. How come "the insect is small" made me the bad person here? It sounded like I wasn't supposed to complain about this and get the price deduction. I was mentally hurt when I saw the insect body not only because it might carry bacteria or anything worse, but I didn't know if I had already swallowed some insects when I ate the pho or other dishes, we never know. To be honest I didn't want to pay for the pho but all I got for the complaint was paying half the price for the pho (3 euro less) and the rude attitude from the owner. I don't know how they got 4.7/5 with this kind of service. I leave a +1 star just for the boy who's serving me with patience and timely help.

We are visiting Munich for the Metallica concert and have to say, the food is an absolute eye-catcher. The taste is unique, the service is great and very attentive. You will be served quickly and well and the food is simply excellent and definitely worth a visit. We'd love to come back as soon as we're in Munich.

I eat often in the restaurants but here it was a pure pleasure. Service was amazing, staff extremely kind and helpful, not to mention a very delicious food - papaya salad, pho, crispy pasta with a lot of meet and veggies and the desserts :) Also good, quite low prices.

Very delicious Pho Bo and Duck with nut sauce. Also super nice service, that made me feel very welcomed.

Soup and main course (€25 in total) consist of 80g of meat. Soup for 7e consists of a frozen dumpling, felt with a foam that never stood next to the meat.

Absolutely fantastic! This is one of the best restaurants of this type I have visited. The atmosphere is nice, tidy, pleasant. Clean! Stuff very fast and busy, doing their best, polite and spontaneous. But - the food is simply amazing! Very tasty, nicely arranged. Spicy right as it should be. Very good food and fresh. The waitresses are very attentive, pleasant and lovingly friendly. The prices are still quite moderate even after inflation. The furnishings are nice, but the paper napkins and missing tablecloths wouldn't be quite suitable for "fine dining", but that doesn't always have to be the case.

We have been regular guests for many years; also before in Leoli. Unfortunately, things have become more and more negative. The wooden partitions between the tables were removed so that more tables could be placed; is now more like a waiting room and you can listen to the conversations from the table next to you. The already high volume level is fighting against even louder music, which unfortunately no longer has anything to do with Vietnamese sounds?!? The food is ok, but the typical modular system and nothing special. Our main courses were served when we had only eaten half of the starters...that doesn't work! You get the feeling that the guests should be processed quickly. We were there on a Thursday evening and wanted to relax a bit after a busy day. After almost an hour we left voluntarily; the atmosphere was anything but pleasant. It's a shame, but we won't recommend this restaurant anymore.

Das kleine Restaurant ist zurückhaltend asiatisch eingerichtet. Bei schönem Wetter kann man im Außenbereich zur Straße hin Platz nehmen. Die Karte ist sehr reichhaltig. Das Personal, sehr freundlich, reagiert sehr schnell, auch bei voll besetztem Lokal. Preise sind im üblichen Niveau, aber nicht überteuert. Wir hatten für 6 Personen online reserviert. Das hat anstandslos funktioniert und die Bestätigung kam sofort per Mail zurück. Das Essen hat durchweg sehr gut geschmeckt und unsere Erwartungen voll erfüllt. Sowohl von der Präsentation als auch von der Zubereitung. Die Auswahl bei alkoholfreien Getränken ist umfangreich. Sämtliche Änderungswünsche wurden perfekt umgesetzt. Aus meiner Sicht ist das Restaurant absolut zu empfehlen.

We wanted to go out for Vietnamese food again. That's why we chose this restaurant. We were asked about our reservation and shown to the table. The selection of food and drink is sufficient. The food was very tasty and really sufficient. The fruit spritzer we ordered was freshly prepared with fruit. The service was good and friendly. The ambience was nice and cozy. Since it is a relatively small restaurant, a reservation is definitely advisable. Parking options are also limited. We would definitely want to eat there again.

The food was great, as always, but service was very slow but friendly. If you have patience and time, you will be rewarded with great food in the end. For us the wait was borderline, 2 out of 5 people didn't get any drinks (for about 30 minutes!) and they only came after we complained. A lot of things can be blamed on a lack of staff these days, but the place is pretty small and there seem to be enough employees. However, progress is still very slow. We are regular customers there and don't want to miss out on our delicious Vietnamese, so we'll be back! Addendum 01/19/24: Had dinner here with our friends. Everything was perfect and delicious. Service very attentive and friendly. Food fantastic as always. We will remain loyal to this restaurant!

I've eaten here many times. Yesterday was probably the last time in the restaurant. A vegetarian menu now costs €16.90. In my opinion, a price that is no longer justified.

Das Personal zeichnet sich durch Freundlichkeit und Aufmerksamkeit aus, was den Besuch angenehm und einladend macht. Sie sind gut informiert über die Menüauswahl und geben gerne Empfehlungen, was besonders für Neulinge der vietnamesischen Küche hilfreich ist. Ein absolutes Highlight ist die Rindersuppe. Sie ist zweifellos die beste, die ich je gegessen habe. Die Brühe ist reichhaltig und voller Geschmack, ein perfektes Gleichgewicht zwischen würzig und aromatisch. Die Rindfleischstücke in der Suppe sind zart und schmelzen förmlich im Mund. Diese Suppe allein ist schon einen Besuch wert. Die Hühnerbrust war zwar ein wenig trocken, aber insgesamt in Ordnung. Sie war gut gewürzt und harmonierte gut mit den Beilagen. Obwohl sie nicht so beeindruckend war wie die Rindersuppe, war sie dennoch ein solides Gericht. Zusammenfassend ist das Anh Tien eine ausgezeichnete Wahl für alle, die authentische vietnamesische Küche in München erleben möchten. Mit seinem hervorragenden Service und der außergewöhnlich guten Rindersuppe ist es definitiv einen Besuch wert.

Try one of the homemade ice-tea, it is delicious! Also all the appetizers are worth trying, get a combination.
