Really very nice service and good food

We've enjoyed going here for lunch for years. I always have my favorite meal, M16 ;-))) The owner is a very nice person and takes very good care of her guests. We always enjoy coming back.

Although the food was excellent, the waitress offered us the evening menu without offering us the lunch menu at a much more attractive price.

Last night, a friend and I met at Anh Thien for dinner. We had reserved a table for two online just in case. When we arrived, we were able to choose our own seats. The service was excellent. We didn't have to wait long at all for our menus, our drinks, or our appetizers. Our main course also arrived promptly. Overall, we enjoyed the food immensely, and the atmosphere was very pleasant. We'll definitely be back!

If the food was great, the service was excellent. My parents and I can't here fur lunch on our way to the BMW museum. We enjoyed the food, the place abd the service. A definite recommendation for anyone wanting something else than the typical German fare at the BMW restaurants.

Stopped here before a visit to the bmw museum which is walking distance. It's not a fancy place but a good spot to get a quick bite before or after the museum.

Highly recommended for lunch. In the evening, the value for money is mediocre.

The atmosphere in the restaurant was pleasant, making it easy to have a good conversation. Starters and main courses were brought together for everyone, and we found the short break between courses very pleasant. The value for money is particularly noteworthy. Everything in the restaurant is spotlessly clean, including the restrooms. We would be happy to come back!

Each dish had its own flavor, and there was plenty of everything. The table layout allows for conversations that aren't overheard by the neighbors. The restaurant is lovingly and tastefully furnished and decorated. The restrooms are clean, and they have fun-loving toilet paper!

Der Hausgemachte Icetea ist sensationell und die Bedienung ist freundlich und das Essen kommt schnell. Es ist vollumfänglich zu empfehlen. Die Preise sind fair für frisches und hochwertiges Essen.

A very pleasant restaurant with friendly and quick service, excellent drinks, and fresh, delicious food. The atmosphere is inviting, and whenever I'm in Munich, I eat at Anh Tien.

We were there for lunch. They had a more affordable menu with a drink, starter, and main course for a reasonable price. The food was good but nothing exceptional; the portions were just right. The beef was unfortunately a bit dry, but overall, the overall offering was quite good. The place is good for a quick lunch. Parking was a bit difficult to find.

We were pleasantly surprised by this inconspicuous restaurant - mainly thanks to the very pleasant and helpful staff who created a relaxed atmosphere. If you are visiting the BMW Museum and are looking for something quieter and more special than a classic brasserie or snack bistro on the premises, we definitely recommend choosing this place.

Four of us for dinner. The food is delicious. Plenty of hot sauce was served with it. The ambience outside was relatively well right next to the street. The BMW factory site is directly across the street. The Ramazzotti drink is a recommendation.

Came across it by chance on a spontaneous Sunday outing. Located quite inconspicuously between several shops. The house from the outside is not special, but the restaurant is very cozy and furnished with attention to detail. So don't be fooled. I particularly liked the large selection of meat-free alternatives. My rice noodles were very good, the vegetables were fresh and crunchy and the veggie spring rolls as a starter were also good. We also had duck and chicken skewer which were also described to me as very tasty. The homemade iced tea was very good and everything was prepared with love. The service staff was also more than friendly and accommodating. Definitely a store we will visit more often from now on.

Amazing! Definitely recommend! The food is amazing, the service as well and they are paying attention making sure all is good. The atmosphere is nice and cozy. Pho soup is definitely a must have and they also serve it in small portions. At the end of dinner, they served us a schnapps on the house. I would definitely come back❤️

I know this restaurant from its beginnings (Leo Li). I come here more often every year because of the dishes (extremely tasty), the staff (excellent service). This is one of the three restaurants on Riesenfeldstrasse that I always recommend. The restaurant is very popular; I strongly recommend making a reservation in advance.

The pho wasn't bad, it's decent pho, but wow, almost 20 euros for ~average pho is quite remarkable. Maybe in Munich this is normal? Also some weird rules where if I want to purchase still water, it needs to be bottled and can't come from the tap. Are microplastics from bottled water not a concern in Germany?

We happened to have lunch here recently and the lunch menu and all other prices were absolutely fine. The food was good. The lychee spritzer was a bit thin. The staff had a bit of difficulty with German, but that's okay.

I don't understand why the Google review rating is so high. They are very unfriendly and give different menus to each customer. People who say fried rice is very bland and delicious have probably never eaten fried rice before.

To be honest I never found any Vietnamese restaurant as good as in USA…. The mango salad is ok

We had a really delicious meal. Service top - fast and very friendly. The only thing we didn't like was the location right on the street, but you know that beforehand.

Wir hatten einen Tisch im Außenbereich. Dieser liegt direkt an einer Straße. Da wir am Sonntagmittag dort waren, war nicht allzuviel Verkehr und deshalb ok. Die Vorspeisen (Sommerrollen und Dim Sum), sowie die Hauptgerichte (Bun Bo Sa und Bun Vit) waren sehr lecker. Das Personal war sehr freundlich und aufmerksam. Wir waren sehr zufrieden und können das Anh Tien weiterempfehlen.

It was our first time there and my expectations were quite high based on the positive reviews. We all found the cocktails to be too sweet and a bit bland, although they were presented attractively. The food was also rather unspectacular, but this could be because we mainly tried Thai dishes and not the classic Vietnamese specialties. I therefore found the price-performance ratio unconvincing. However, the service was very friendly and I might go again to try something different.

We went to the restaurant because of the good reviews. Unfortunately our food was a bit tasteless and the portions were a bit small. The quality of the food is good, but for us it could have been a little spicier.

Very nice Vietnamese restaurant. Towards the evening the traffic on Riesenfeldstrasse dies down and in summer you can enjoy your meal at one of the tables outside. If the weather is good, you should definitely make a reservation on the weekend.

We are Vietnamese people who come to support Vietnamese restaurants. The beef pho is okay, the duck and salad are delicious. I was planning on giving it 5 stars until: I went to the bathroom and heard them talking bad about us very loudly. They probably thought no one would listen and understand. When I went to the bathroom, my husband called to pay but the waitress didn't seem to answer. Thinking that she hadn't heard, he repeated it again. I was in the bathroom and heard clearly: "pay for the Vietnamese table", "pay for him, he's calling", "fuck that bad guy". I was really shocked because I thought that Vietnamese people meet each other, support each other and should unite together, but she showed such an attitude behind her customers' backs. I remind everyone not to be mistaken: we were in Germany and Austria for 2 weeks and understand the culture of queuing, waiting, being patient and polite. But I was very disappointed with her attitude (an older woman with a Southern accent) who not only disrespected customers but also disrespected Vietnamese people, and my husband was very happy and didn't know what was being said. If you like good food, this restaurant has very good food, but they won't respect you.

Delicious lunch for a good price.

Very nice staff and exceptionally good Pho Bo soup with beef broth. Salad with mango and duck was also excellent. It's best to order in advance and come with a scooter 🛴 or bike because parking is in short supply there 😉.

I went here around 6 pm on May 24th when a few people were dining in, expecting some pho and soup, but the overall experience was disappointing. First, the beef on the pho is too thick and dry, like it's overcooked. Second, the crispy duck in the summer roll is not crispy at all, and the meat is hard to bite off because of the duck skin. It tastes like a boiled or steamed duck and the meat is also dry. The third and most disgusting thing is I found a dead insect in the pho soup after I finished the rice noodles and even drank some of the soup. I didn't see it before maybe it's because the insect body is covered under the beef and noodles. I complained to the owner and only got a reply "It's just a small insect and you already ate all the pho so you have to pay". Of course, I know I have to pay for what I eat, but this situation is different. If I found the insect before eating, I wouldn't touch the food at all and I wouldn't eat in this restaurant at all. How come "the insect is small" made me the bad person here? It sounded like I wasn't supposed to complain about this and get the price deduction. I was mentally hurt when I saw the insect body not only because it might carry bacteria or anything worse, but I didn't know if I had already swallowed some insects when I ate the pho or other dishes, we never know. To be honest I didn't want to pay for the pho but all I got for the complaint was paying half the price for the pho (3 euro less) and the rude attitude from the owner. I don't know how they got 4.7/5 with this kind of service. I leave a +1 star just for the boy who's serving me with patience and timely help.

We are visiting Munich for the Metallica concert and have to say, the food is an absolute eye-catcher. The taste is unique, the service is great and very attentive. You will be served quickly and well and the food is simply excellent and definitely worth a visit. We'd love to come back as soon as we're in Munich.

I eat often in the restaurants but here it was a pure pleasure. Service was amazing, staff extremely kind and helpful, not to mention a very delicious food - papaya salad, pho, crispy pasta with a lot of meet and veggies and the desserts :) Also good, quite low prices.
