After the positive reviews here in great anticipation, I was unfortunately a bit disappointed. The atmosphere is great, you feel a bit like you're in a (European version of a) small food stall. The team behind the counter is very nice and quick. But unfortunately the dishes were rather mixed: While the salad was really tasty, the main courses were clearly lacking in taste, they were primarily covered by unoriginal sauces. “Spicy” doesn’t mean spicy here either, but they may have simply adapted to European habits. Maybe we were just unlucky and another test is needed on site. Tip: Glass noodle salad with chicken and vegetables.

What a gem! We popped in for a quick dinner before catching our train, and we were genuinely impressed. The food not only arrived quickly but also blew us away with its quality—especially considering how incredibly affordable it is. For just around €16 per person, we each enjoyed a starter, a main dish, and a drink. Talk about value for money! My partner is still raving about the Nems, claiming they were the best he’s ever had. It’s rare to find a place that balances speed, quality, and affordability so well. Highly recommend this spot if you’re looking for a delicious, budget-friendly meal that doesn’t compromise on taste!

Price-performance cannot be beaten anywhere in Munich. Always good food, always super fast! Visit the store several times a week! Absolutely great!

The pho is a bit old school, the coconut milk soup is delicious. If I tip and ask for more cilantro, following through on the request would be appropriate. Probably quite homemade large spring rolls.

Our family has been a customer for 20 years. Sprout salad, nr23, vegetarian spring roll, always good! It's best to sit outside! We are very satisfied and recommend! Price/performance is unbeatable, great portions on site, quick clean kitchen, great taste as it should be, drinks not that expensive, always quick and very good even when picked up!

We got food, so the rating is just for that. A lot of things were great, for example the spring rolls, fried noodles, the duck (super tender and not too greasy). Only the curry sauce was different than expected - not authentically Thai or Vietnamese (despite plenty of Thai basil). Hence the star deduction.

The restaurant is more of a snack bar. Very inconspicuous from the outside. There were 4 tables outside with about 10 seats. The staff is very reserved. The food is freshly prepared. The taste of the food was average. The food was advertised as spicy, but this was not the case. The peanut sauce in one dish was very runny. The spring roll tasted good. The price performance ratio is very good. The portions are large.

So before you go further! I voted for 4 out of 5, just because they don't accept payment by card and they cannot talk English. It's kinda bothering me why they don't accept payment by card. TBH, food is awesome! Just pick random! It's gonna be extraordinary! And the price is even better! Price is sort of cheap, and the quality is really good.

The food is very good, there is nothing more to say about it.

Nice small restaurant with tasty dishes

Went there because it had good reviews. Staff wasn't very friendly, but preparation was very quick. The snack bar is very small and not inviting to eat on site. Sweet and sour soup was hot and delicious. Chicken with curry and coconut milk was quite bland, almost no meat in it and not spicy as mentioned on the menu. Beef with peanut and basil was good. All in all an average Vietnamese takeaway, but certainly not over 4⭐

Very nice food stall with Asian street food. It doesn't look like much from the outside, but there's a lot inside. Delicious food at a reasonable price. What more do you want :-)

Literally. Nicest cutest little Viet place ever! The duck is so crispy and not fatty at all!! Amazing deep fried banana as well!!! Real honey and the peanuts on top was such a nice touch!

Don't be blinded by the external impression. Go in and eat. Price/performance is top. And this in the center of Munich. Absolutely delicious and tasty. The red curry could have used a little more spiciness. But it's something for everyone. Keep it up.

Extremely priceworthy fare here swiftly served. I've been here dozens (scores, hundreds??) of times in the last 25 years - never been disappointed. The service is extremely friendly even if communication is limited. Special orders/options here seem to be extremely flexible, just ask! My quality of life would be severely diminished if they ever ceased operation. On no level can you go wrong here as a dining experience! Also take-away is fast and easy.

I ended up spending about 10.50€ for my beer and meal. Excellent food! We sat outside, but it is a small restaurant so there is limited seating.

Echt gute Vietnamesische Garküche! Sehr günstige Preise. Sehr sauber. Bei schönen Wetter kann man auch draußen sitzen. Innen das Ambiente na ja..... Aber vielleicht deshalb ein Besoderer Reiz!

Ort, Personal und Qualität sind seit Jahren gleichbleibend gut. Preise wurden der Inflation angepasst, sind aber immer noch sehr fair. Ich sitze draussen am Biertisch und freue mich über die Präsenz des kleinen Vietnamesen.

Sehr gute vietnamesische Garküche zum besten Preis-Leistungsverhältnis der Stadt. Ich komme regelmäßig wieder.

If I lived in Munich I would visit this place at least once a week, it's a really nice place to get a warm meal at a good price. The wait time for food after ordering was also very short, highly recommended!

Really amazing and authentic food. Super reasonable pricing. Service is great as well. We tried the Fried duck with rice veggies & oyster sauce, also the Tofu in red curry. Both were excellent. Highly recommend this place.

Erstaunlich wie ein einzelner Koch mit zwei Woks solch eine Vielfalt an schönen und leckeren vietnamesischen Speisen zubereiten kann. Bestellen darf man direkt an der kleinen Küchenzeile und gewinnt somit Einblicke in das heisse Geschehen. Einmal Platz gefunden darf man sich entspannen und der freundliche Service bringt einem dann Speis und Trank. Der Bambushain, ein Geheimtip und Geschenk des Himmels. 🌿🐼🍃💘

This restaurant is one of the few in Munich that still offers reasonably priced food. The portions are also generous, considering the price point. Most, if not all, items on the menu cost under €10.

Estaba feliz de encontrar este lugar, comida muy barata, personal amable. No hay menú en inglés. Solo efectivo, sin tarjetas. Cerca de U Bahn Stiglmaierplatz

Schnelle Imbissküche, die schmeckt. Das Essen wird frisch zubereitet und die Preise sind super günstig! Die Besitzer sind sehr nett. Der Speiseraum ist klein und nicht sonderlich ansehnlich, aber das muss es auch nicht sein. Ich komme wieder.

Empfehlungen werden sehr freundlich vorgetragen, Hummerkrabben mit Ingwer und Gemüse haben sehr gut geschmeckt Preis-Leistung sehr OK
