The food was amazing and fantastic! Everything tasted fresh and authentic. The flavours were perfectly balanced – spicy, fresh and well prepared. Friendly service and a relaxed atmosphere topped it all off. An absolute must if you love Vietnamese food.

I was curious what I could expect for 8.50 euros (lunch menu): 3 spring rolls that were no longer warm, a dry, hard breaded chicken, the vegetables were good. The ambience is so well... it makes a strange impression from the outside, but the inside is outdated rooms (floor, tables, toilet) that have been spruced up a bit. The service was quick and friendly. Conclusion: not really bad, but not really exciting either. Overrated with some questionably many good reviews (sometimes only a few reviews per name...?)

This is the best rice noodles I've ever had.

I can't rate the food. Despite calling and making a reservation, a very unfriendly reception from a gentleman who didn't want to offer us a table. We weren't even allowed to sit outside because otherwise everyone would sit outside! He also had to think about taking it with us so we went somewhere else.

We had dinner for the second time, the food tasted very good, the portions were plentiful and beautifully prepared. The staff is very warm, friendly and attentive. For me a restaurant with good food and a feel-good atmosphere! The price/performance ratio is absolutely right. We'll definitely be back.

waiters, SUPER NICE. the whole interior looks super nice and cozy. the food was from another planet, yes the portions are big for someone who doesn’t eat a lot in one sitting but each bite was out of this world. it took a bit to order and get our food but it was also pretty busy so its understandable, and the taste made up for the wait. SO WORTH IT 10/10 recommend

We recently visited this restaurant because of the good Google rating. Overall, however, our experience was not entirely positive. The service was relatively friendly and the food was served very quickly. The larger-than-average portions were positive, and overall the price-performance ratio was ok. However, smaller portions at a lower price would be desirable, for example in order to be able to order several dishes. Unfortunately, the kitchen was very inflexible when it came to special requests: changes to the dish could not be made and were categorically rejected, which was disappointing. When paying, we were first told verbally that the bill was incorrect, on the basis of which we then gave a tip. It was only when we printed out the bill after payment that it turned out that the actual amount was lower, so we had inevitably left far too much of a tip. Despite the high rating, we cannot currently recommend the restaurant based on our mixed experience.

Fast, friendly service and excellent food - what more could you want?

The Saigon Restaurant Riem outside Munich is simply great! The three of us came without a reservation and after a short wait we were warmly welcomed and shown to a beautiful, modern, but still traditionally furnished table. The building may be old, but everything inside is very clean, stylish and inviting - just the right mix. The menu is manageable, but offers something for every taste. We particularly appreciated that dishes can be easily changed upon request. The cocktail menu is also diverse, with classic drinks and creative twists. Our lychee mojito, lemongrass and gin fizz were refreshing, delicious and perfectly balanced - not too strong, but wonderful in taste. The edamame appetizer came quickly, was slightly salty and cooked perfectly – exactly how it should be. The main courses were served at the same time and were perfectly tempered. The pho soup was hot, with fresh herbs and extra bean sprouts so we could customize it to taste. The broth was mild and aromatic, with no artificial flavor enhancers. The coconut curry with tofu was creamy, light in taste, the tofu was tender and not "squeaky", the vegetables were fresh and crunchy. The Da don la que with crispy chicken was a real treat, the special sauce was pleasantly spicy and without any artificial flavors. The rice was more than sufficient and was shared. Upon request, the leftovers were packaged in a leak-proof manner so that we could easily take it with us on the S-Bahn to Munich. At the end there were fresh apple slices with a spice for dipping – very refreshing! The price-performance ratio surprised us positively. It was clear to us while we were eating that we wanted to give this an outstanding review, and we're happy to do that! We are already looking forward to the next trip to Munich and will definitely come back. Thank you for this great experience!

Nice Asian restaurant. There are parking spaces right in front of the door. There is a star deduction because the starter (soup) comes at the same time as the main course. The main course was ordered with the Uni Coriander, which was also served without coriander. However, the soup was full of it. You could have been careful and left out the coriander in the soup, since you had already mentioned it when ordering. All in all a nice restaurant

We've been here for the third time now and we're just thrilled. Food is fantastic, not run of the mill standard, but also other delicious dishes that you don't find everywhere. The green papaya salad, for example, is delicious. The waitresses are very nice and very accommodating. We'd love to come back.
