Bep Bu - Vietnamese Street Food in München

Super delicious food (well seasoned, as described on the menu, good portion size) and very tasty tea. Almost every dish had a vegan option. The service was also perfect and friendly. We didn't have a reservation and luckily got a table, after that it was really busy.

Super recommended place. The staff is very friendly, coming to check a few times if everything was alright. Food is good and was served super fast. I got a beef with rice noodles. The seasoning was perfect. Also got a homemade ice tea that was super good (although a bit small - too much ice). Overall, super recommended:)

Food was solid but nothing more. The meat was very good but the noodles in the peanut sauce were very soggy. Unfortunately, the appetizer was overcooked.

We had a great lunch here! I have celiac disease, which makes dining out very challenging. This restaurant is an absolute lifesaver for people who need to eat gluten-free. The gluten-free dishes are very clearly labeled on the menu and, much to my delight, most options except for the banh mi were safe for me to eat! Everything we tried was delicious. Our highlight was the pho with tomato and red wine; such a great combination and incredibly flavorful. Service was quick, attentive, and super friendly. 100% recommended!

best vietnamese in town so far. Had Bettel leafes as starter and yes they where selfmade! The stew was also very good (just one minor thing was that you need a knife to cut the big pieces ;)

We found this place after a museum visit and we had a fantastic lunch. We had beef pho, which was delicious and we had the salmon in peanut sauce with pumpkin and bamboo, which was extremely good. Prices and portions are reasonable, if we lived here we would be regular guests for sure.

Bun tron ​​is like bunjja. Spring rolls are really crispy and delicious. I recommend them! I ordered it with a bowl of rice noodles and the two of us ate it and we were very full. The rice noodles are also delicious! But next time I go, I think I'll order two bun trons. It's that delicious 👍 And the staff are really friendly. One of the employees told me I was pretty, so I was very embarrassed and happy😂😂 I couldn't express it actively because I was embarrassed, but if I wrote it in hopes that the employee would read it, it would be,,, You are prettier and cuter❤️💘👍

Very cozy shop. Went there later in the evening, were served quickly and my lukewarm glass noodle soup was very tasty! I would also recommend it. Prices are moderate, rather expensive like everywhere else these days.

A very nice restaurant. Beb Bu serves delicious Vietnamese dishes, both classics (different phos) and more modern variations. The service is very friendly. The restaurant is pleasant and tastefully decorated.

Very nice place for Vietnamese food. Everything I tried was delicious and all the waiters were super kind and smiling. An extra point for the high attention they put to gluten allergies: almost everything is by default gluten free! Will definitely come back

They serve dishes on the melamine plates! 100% melamine for hot dishes! It’s carcinogenic toxic material and nowadays after lots of researches is avoided in the food industry. Even the producer in China still put the marks „suitable for food“ is not okay. I can’t believe that the owners of this place couldn’t afford to buy a normal porcelain plates… Shameful! Thanks for making your guests closer to oncology diagnosis. The food was nothing special, tofu dish 16,9€ overpriced for Maxvorstadt.

I decided to go somewhere to relieve the pressure and I made the right decision when I came here to eat in a restaurant with a romantic ambience in heaven and most importantly I was served by a cheerful enthusiastic waitress and Above all, she was very charming and lovable. The restaurant offers delicious food. The tofu dish lacks some vegetables outside of lettuce and herbs. The green curry was really delicious. No criticism of the fried banana either. The service staff was always on site, full marks. The restaurant is really very small. The chairs on the street wobble and are uncomfortable. Not a particularly nice atmosphere inside either. You come for the food. 20% student discount is a really good offer!

UPDATE: unfortunately I have to edit my review, which is not positive. This is the second time I've been there. Both of our buns were totally dry, bland and with few ingredients like herbs etc. as you would expect from a bun. The tofu was also very dry. Only the spring roll was good. The sauce for the bun also didn't taste like anything. It's a shame, I was really excited last time. --- More of a kind of snack bar but beautifully decorated and great atmosphere. Super friendly staff and the food was super tasty, super fresh and reasonable portions and prices. Only the dessert (Bartu ice cream) wasn't as sparkling. Tiny ball and not as creamy anymore. Otherwise everything was great!

We have tried many Vietnamese restaurants before but the flavors at Bep Bu are something different. Highly recommend the Banh mi with beef (Sot Vang), it was an explosion of flavors! The Mango sticky rice was also excellent. Will be back to try more.

Since we first visited Bep Bu, we have been coming back on every day trip to Munich! The staff is very accommodating, the food is very tasty. All but two dishes are gluten-free (and also safe for celiac disease; contamination is carefully monitored). My personal highlight: I hadn't had a baked banana for years before my diagnosis - here it's gluten-free and excellent! Thank you that you exist. We are already looking forward to the next time!

Small restaurant with surprisingly great food! We had two starters, two mains and two desserts and all six were excellent right down to the decorative orange slice! The room is nicely furnished for the limited space, but it's not particularly comfortable. But the quality of the food definitely makes up for it. For us it ended up being €38.50 (without tip) per person for a drink, a starter, a main course and a dessert. I don't think the starters and desserts in particular were cheap, but they were really tasty. I think a 20% discount for students is a great offer :) I will definitely come back more often.

The atmosphere and service were very nice. I really recommend the duck meat. I reduced 1 star because I know better Far East restaurants. If you go anyway, you won't regret it.
