Bep Bu - Vietnamese Street Food in München

A very nice restaurant. Beb Bu serves delicious Vietnamese dishes, both classics (different phos) and more modern variations. The service is very friendly. The restaurant is pleasant and tastefully decorated.

So delicious! Super friendly staff. Would recommend the spring rolls and baked tofu. Also pumpkin curry very good. Mango sticky rice was also extremely well made!!

Very nice place for Vietnamese food. Everything I tried was delicious and all the waiters were super kind and smiling. An extra point for the high attention they put to gluten allergies: almost everything is by default gluten free! Will definitely come back

Delicious food, I can really recommend the red curry with duck and pumpkin which is seasonal right now. Service was great and had a good time. On the pricier side but very tasty.

They serve dishes on the melamine plates! 100% melamine for hot dishes! It’s carcinogenic toxic material and nowadays after lots of researches is avoided in the food industry. Even the producer in China still put the marks „suitable for food“ is not okay. I can’t believe that the owners of this place couldn’t afford to buy a normal porcelain plates… Shameful! Thanks for making your guests closer to oncology diagnosis. The food was nothing special, tofu dish 16,9€ overpriced for Maxvorstadt.

I decided to go somewhere to relieve the pressure and I made the right decision when I came here to eat in a restaurant with a romantic ambience in heaven and most importantly I was served by a cheerful enthusiastic waitress and Above all, she was very charming and lovable. If I really had one wish, I would wish to stay here forever

The restaurant offers delicious food. The tofu dish lacks some vegetables outside of lettuce and herbs. The green curry was really delicious. No criticism of the fried banana either. The service staff was always on site, full marks. The restaurant is really very small. The chairs on the street wobble and are uncomfortable. Not a particularly nice atmosphere inside either. You come for the food. 20% student discount is a really good offer!

UPDATE: unfortunately I have to edit my review, which is not positive. This is the second time I've been there. Both of our buns were totally dry, bland and with few ingredients like herbs etc. as you would expect from a bun. The tofu was also very dry. Only the spring roll was good. The sauce for the bun also didn't taste like anything. It's a shame, I was really excited last time. --- More of a kind of snack bar but beautifully decorated and great atmosphere. Super friendly staff and the food was super tasty, super fresh and reasonable portions and prices. Only the dessert (Bartu ice cream) wasn't as sparkling. Tiny ball and not as creamy anymore. Otherwise everything was great!

We have tried many Vietnamese restaurants before but the flavors at Bep Bu are something different. Highly recommend the Banh mi with beef (Sot Vang), it was an explosion of flavors! The Mango sticky rice was also excellent. Will be back to try more.

Since we first visited Bep Bu, we have been coming back on every day trip to Munich! The staff is very accommodating, the food is very tasty. All but two dishes are gluten-free (and also safe for celiac disease; contamination is carefully monitored). My personal highlight: I hadn't had a baked banana for years before my diagnosis - here it's gluten-free and excellent! Thank you that you exist. We are already looking forward to the next time!

Small restaurant with surprisingly great food! We had two starters, two mains and two desserts and all six were excellent right down to the decorative orange slice! The room is nicely furnished for the limited space, but it's not particularly comfortable. But the quality of the food definitely makes up for it. For us it ended up being €38.50 (without tip) per person for a drink, a starter, a main course and a dessert. I don't think the starters and desserts in particular were cheap, but they were really tasty. I think a 20% discount for students is a great offer :) I will definitely come back more often.

The atmosphere and service were very nice. I really recommend the duck meat. I reduced 1 star because I know better Far East restaurants. If you go anyway, you won't regret it.

Really good portions, I'm still full. From the Vietnamese spring rolls, bun with crispy duck, Pho Tron with shrimp to the brilliant mango sticky rice, everything was fresh, handmade and, above all, delicious! This doesn't just please gluten-free gourmets. Good location, easy to get to, there are a few tables outside when the weather is nice. The service was knowledgeable and very friendly. Anytime again (food was gone too quickly, so no photos 😄 next time!)

We shared the Cha Gio Chay which were delicious. Possibly some of the best spring rolls I've ever had. I then had the Pho Tron Tofu as a main course and really enjoyed it too. The service was very friendly and fast. But the instrumental Christmas songs were unusual to hear in February. One starter, two main courses, one soft drink and two beers cost 51€.

Meine Schwestern und ich hatten einen super schönen Abend im Bep Bu! Das kleine Restaurant ist super gemütlich, es läuft in perfekter Lautstärke Musik im Hintergrund und man kann sich toll unterhalten. Wir hatten Vorspeisen und Hauptgerichte. Alles hat super frisch geschmeckt und die Portionen haben uns super satt gemacht. Vor allem wurde mit dem Lachs nicht gespart mit 2 großen Filets im bestellten Kürbis Erdnuss Curry! Es sind auch einige Gerichte auf der Karte, die wir so in anderen vietnamesischen Restaurants noch nicht gesehen haben. Es macht Spaß, hier neues zu probieren! Der Service war auch super freundlich, hat angeboten Jacken aufzuhängen und zusätzlich noch Soße zu bringen, falls man mehr möchte. Außerdem ist es für Studenten ein Traum! Die bekommen auf alle Gerichte 20% Rabatt, wobei die Preise sowieso schon sehr fair für die Menge und die Qualität des Essens sind! Wir kommen gerne wieder ☺️

Cozy restaurant with friendly staff. Cute little spot for tasty asian cuisines. I liked the ambience. It’s clean, the staff is super friendly with good presentation skill. Only things I missed 1. They do not chicken options. 2. They should offer red / green thai curry with rice too. Not just with noodles. They offer rice but with pumpkin one. Which is too much pumpkin. I liked otherwise everything.

Great little spot for some inventive Vietnamese food. My wife and I sat here and relaxed over a few dishes and some wine. Everything was well prepared. Definitely worth a stop if in the area. Prices were reasonable also.

Ausgezeichneter Ort. Die meisten Gerichte sind glutenfrei und das Personal ist sehr gut. Ich war gestern Abend dort und habe das Pho Tron probiert und es war sehr lecker.

Leckeres Essen, freundlich und schnell ist der Service.

Wir waren zum Mittagessen da. Auf der Karte sind vegane und glutenfreie Gerichte deutlich gekennzeichnet, was nicht selbstverständlich ist. Wir hatten die vegane Frühlingsrolle und ich habe das saisonale Curry mit Kürbis gegessen. Beides war lecker, nur besonders das Kürbis-Curry hätte noch eine kleine Prise mehr Gewürz vertragen. Der Service war sehr freundlich und aufmerksam, ohne zu viel zu sein. Die Preise sind leicht gehoben, aber immer noch in Rahmen. Ich werde sicherlich nochmal wieder kommen und mehr probieren.

Das Paradies, wenn du glutenfrei Essen musst. Geheimtipp für Menschen mit Zöliakie. Da ich mir erst unsicher war, dass quasi ALLE Gerichte glutenfrei sein sollten, brachte mir der Chef sämtliche Verpackungen und Produkte, die verwendet werden! Super zuvorkommendes und sympathisches Personal und vorallem absolut köstliches Essen. Sogar die Frühlingsrollen durfte ich das 1. Mal in meinem Leben Essen! Btw. Mega gemütliche Atmosphäre:)
