Chigogi in Magdeburg

We spontaneously went there for dinner on Saturday. We managed to get a table for two, but a reservation is recommended. Both the starters and main courses were delicious and fresh. We didn't have to wait long, and the staff were always very attentive. That's exactly what you want. Everything was great. Thank you for the lovely evening.

I came here from another city for one dish, which for some reason is not included in the menu of other Korean restaurants. I really wanted to try it and I am glad that I visited such a wonderful place. A very friendly waiter, delicious food and a pleasant atmosphere leave only the best impressions and memories.

There were three of us. The food was super delicious; the plates were warmed up and the portions were generous. We've had enough. We didn't wait long and the waitress was very accommodating - thank you for the extra soy sauce and the extra spicy side dish. We'll definitely be back - the sticker with the Uber Eats Awards on the door is definitely not fake

I was in Chigogi for the first time on April 11th, 2025. I will definitely come again. I tried different dishes. And everything was absolutely delicious. If you had any questions you were given good advice. It was a successful end to the evening. For me, Chigogi is one of the best places to go if you want to eat delicious food. Keep it up!

So for me it was the first visit there. And I was so surprised. I have never eaten so well in Magdeburg!!!! The service is courteous but not at all intrusive and very friendly. The food and drinks were delicious and we will 100% be back. In my opinion a secret tip in Magdeburg!!

Purely by chance, during a conversation in our neighborhood, I heard how Chigogi came 4th in the Germany-wide Uber Eats competition in the summer of 2024. So I thought I would give this a try. I'll tell you straight up, this was the best Asian restaurant I've ever dined in! Everything just fell into place. From the ambience, to the courteous staff, to the delicious food for a small thaler. Clear recommendation, I will come back (P.S Order the Don Kassou - a dream 💭)

Super tasty, great nice service. Even the starters are incredibly good and interesting. During our last visit there was a strong draft at our table and we discovered afterwards that the upstairs windows were open. It was uncomfortable, but we were able to get through it.

Food was really poor quality and overpriced. I haven't eaten so badly in a long time. Having cats in the restaurant is not possible at all.

This was our fourth time eating here and our expectations were once again exceeded. The service staff is always friendly and leaves nothing to be desired. We personally recommend choosing several “smaller” starters instead of one large main course. This means you can try a little something from each plate and still feel full! We've never left the restaurant hungry...quite the opposite! There is also a good selection of vegetarian dishes (lots with tofu). These were also convincing! All in all, we can highly recommend the restaurant and hope that many more people will get a taste for it! :-) Definitely a win for Magdeburg!

One of the best restaurants I have been to ,so far .The warm, inviting atmosphere with its blend of traditional décor and modern touches made it the perfect spot for a relaxing meal. The food was absolutely delicious—each dish was packed with authentic Korean flavors! The kimchi was perfectly fermented, all the main dishes resembled the actual and real flavours. What really set this experience apart was the exceptional service. Our servers Lara and Söri, were incredibly friendly and attentive. It made our meal so much more enjoyable! I highly recommend Chigogi to anyone looking for an authentic Korean dining experience with top-notch service. I’ll definitely be back!

Sitting inside is nicer than outside. The street is very close. We enjoyed the food (fire meat and ribs, homemade lemonade ) and it is served in an attractive arrangement. Gladly again.

Delicious Korean food, with also cheaper street food options. Nice atmosphere and good coffee. The only drawback is that there is only one toilet at a time, which could lead to traffic jams if the place is full.

Chi Go Gi Korean Restaurant offers a pleasant atmosphere with exceptionally friendly service. The portions are generous and the overall quality of the food is commendable. However, I found the glass noodle dish a bit too oily. Apart from that, all other dishes exceeded my expectations.

Good restaurant. Unfortunately you can't vary the sharpness when choosing, but that's okay. Nice personel. Setup a bit easy.

Friends took us with them. I was skeptical at first, but I'm really excited! The service and the food were absolutely great.

First of all I have to say that we made reservations but apparently no one knew about it. Then we ended up at a table behind which there was a window whose seal was broken, so it dragged for 1.5 hours. We were quite cold, hence the deduction for the ambience. The service from the waiters was great, but unfortunately the kitchen didn't work out as expected. Due to some allergies I had to order my food without the usual decoration and without soybeans etc. Unfortunately my food came twice with soybeans and "decoration". The third time the kitchen just stirred the food and the fourth time there was still sesame in my food. Afterwards the waiter didn't charge for the meal. Drinks worked flawlessly, but my glass straw was chipped and broken. (But I actually didn't need it for the juice). All in all, unfortunately not a good performance, it wasn't particularly full that one could have attributed it to the abundance, but and it was already reported that the kitchen was probably a bit irritable today. The question that arises for me would of course be why work in a restaurant if you can't seem to withstand the pressure to perform. We'll probably give it another chance at some point, once the bitter aftertaste of the visit has worn off.

Absolute recommendation! If you like Korean food or want to try it, this is the right place for you. The atmosphere is inviting and the service is very friendly and accommodating. For eating a smooth 5/5. It came quickly, was extremely tasty and was well priced. I was so excited and won't miss the chance to go again this week. Big praise to the owner and his team.

I'm always looking for something new. Discovered this place and I have to say, I really enjoyed it. There were three of us and we chose several starters because we wanted to try as many as possible. I will definitely come back to eat next time I'm in Magdeburg.

We went there yesterday on a recommendation! The food is really, really good. The waitresses are very friendly and give tips and recommendations. It was the first time for us, we have never eaten Korean before, but we will come back and try out the menu again! What I found very good is that the ingredients are clearly visible for allergy sufferers!

Wir waren Mittag in der Woche zum ersten Mal dort. Es war relativ leer. Die Bedienung war sehr freundlich. Es arbeiten dort hauptsächlich Vietnamesen, der Chefkoch ist allerdings Koreaner und das schemckt man auch. Das Essen ist super! Sehr gut finde ich auch, dass auf der Karte auch ein paar typische Streetfood Gerichte zu finden sind. Wir hatten Beef Mandu, Corndog, Bulgogi, Galbi und Fried Chicken, war alles sehr lecker. Wer Schärfe nicht verträgt brauch sich auch nicht fürchten, für meinen Geschmack war es so gut wie gar nicht scharf und das ist für mich jedenfalls auch der einzige Kritikpunkt den ich finden konnte. Wir werden in Zukunft gern wieder kommen. Würde mir wünschen, dass es Fried Chicken neben den Saucen Plain Salt Pepper, Sweet Chilli und Soy Garlic auch mit der typischen wirklich scharfen Korean Fried Chicken Sauce (Gochujang, Gochugaru, Knoblauch, Ingwer, Zucker/Honig/Sirup, Sojasauce, Sesam, Lauchzwiebel) gibt.

Tolles Restaurant mit authentischen Speisen. Das Personal war sehr lieb und hilfsbereit. Der Korean Corndog, Dalgona Cappuccino und die Yuzu Refresh Limo waren super lecker! 🤤

Super abwechslungsreiche Küche und eine willkommene Abwechslung zu der Vielzahl einseitiger Restaurants in Magdeburg. Das Essen wird frisch zubereitet und der Service ist sehr zuvorkommend. Eine definitive Empfehlung, wir kommen gerne wieder!

Leckeres Essen Super Service Gutes Preis-Leistungsverhältnis

Wir waren nun schon einige Male bei Chigogi und haben uns durch verschiedenste koreanische Speisen probiert. Jedes Mal wurden wir sehr freundlich empfangen und bedient. Die Mitarbeiter sind überaus aufmerksam und geben auch tolle Auskünfte bei Fragen zu den jeweiligen, für die meisten Menschen noch unbekannte Gerichte. Das Preis-/Leistungsverhältnis ist wunderbar. Empfehlen kann ich nicht nur das klassisch koreanische Bibimbap, sondern auch den koreanischen Pfannkuchen als Vorspeise. Wer Lust auf neue kulinarische Erlebnisse hat, ist hier richtig und sollte die Speisen einmal ausprobieren.

Der 1. Eindruck super. Zügige Bedienung, tolles Essen und Ambiente. Kann ich nur weiterempfehlen.
