Authentic Italian cuisine, highly recommended!

Today (a public holiday), around 2 pm, we were at the Seehaus Hopfensee restaurant with our baby, just wanting to enjoy coffee and cake on the terrace without a reservation. We waited at the entrance until a blonde waitress came. Unfortunately, she was very unfriendly as soon as she heard we didn't have a reservation. In a dismissive tone, she said everything was fully booked and we could just go to the beer garden next door. However, the restaurant was almost empty, and there were only a few tables occupied on the terrace. Out of curiosity, we then checked online – it was easy to make a reservation for the outdoor area immediately. Very disappointing, especially when you're traveling with a baby. Friendliness and hospitality don't seem to be a priority here. We certainly won't be coming back.

We ate here today and were both very impressed. The service was incredibly friendly, and I haven't had such good udon soup in a long time. My husband had the chicken – it was very tender. We'll definitely be back.

The seitan döner is simply amazing, and the bowls are prepared with so much love and freshness that you'd happily eat them every day. What also makes Adams special are the little extras: special offers like baklava for dessert and a warm and welcoming team that's always friendly and attentive. I usually enjoy going to the Europäischer Hof Hotel in Heidelberg, especially to the bar and restaurants, as the ambiance is exceptionally beautiful and inviting. However, yesterday's visit unfortunately fell far short of expectations. The food and drinks were presented rather unappealingly, which is not what one expects from a hotel of this caliber. The cheesecake was particularly disappointing; it didn't taste fresh. The service was also inattentive: although the hotel wasn't very busy, no one asked if we needed anything else. We ended up having to go to the bar ourselves to pay, as we hadn't been acknowledged for quite some time. This is a real shame, as I usually associate the Europäischer Hof with quality and excellent service. I sincerely hope this was an exception.

The location is simply fantastic. We received a very warm welcome. The food was delicious, and the service was friendly and efficient. The interior was also very pleasant. A visit here is highly recommended.
