A small town on the Moselle River, nestled around a ruined castle on a hill. There's not much to see: hotels and restaurants, wineries, a few houses, a few shops, a few art studios, and souvenirs. But the town is truly enchanting: narrow streets, stairways, courtyards, and vistas. It's also known as Sleeping Beauty on the Moselle.
Upstairs, near the ruins, is a restaurant with a terrace. The menu is average and geared towards tourists. During peak season, it offers a pleasant seating area with a view of the Moselle.
A slightly different restaurant than usual. No mixed grills, etc., but instead a selection of dishes that aren't commonly found elsewhere. We were very satisfied, but the variety was lacking.
Great service and a lovely restaurant.
Unfortunately, the food was just average. The soup was very good, but the main course wasn't that great. The naan was too dry, and the sauce unfortunately lacked zing.
Eating in is great.
However, I can't recommend takeout. The portions are significantly smaller, the quality is worse, and the toppings are much less plentiful and of lower quality. The staff and owner are not open to criticism.
