La Frida Mexicana in Viernheim

Wonderful little Mexican restaurant with delicious food and a very friendly owner! We come here often, always have a great meal, and a wonderful time! In the summer, there's outdoor seating and takeout for a cozy movie night. Card payments are accepted!

The drinks were really good; we had a cocktail and a lemonade. The food was also good, although the tacos weren't amazing (it would be better if the cheese was inside the tacos with the meat, and not on top of the salad). Otherwise, it was good and worth it.

We were really craving Mexican food, and since we don't currently have a favorite Mexican restaurant, we tried La Frida Mexicana. What can I say? Now we have a favorite Mexican restaurant. The food was delicious, the service was attentive and friendly, and the prices are more than reasonable. We'll be back :)

I can't say I expected to find an incredible Mexican restaurant in the middle of Germany, but boy did we Food was incredible, drinks where very tasty and very well priced all around. Service was great and understanding (We don't speak German.) 16,000km from home, and boy would I come back! 5/5, all day every day and well worth it.

Very tasty food and friendly service. A slightly different take on Mexican cuisine. The food seems more authentic and authentic. Better than at chains like Sausalitos or Diaz in RNZ. Since the restaurant is located in an industrial area, the ambiance isn't the best, but that's not a problem.

Our favorite restaurant in Viernheim. We've been coming to La Frida often since it opened. 🌮🌯 It's small, cozy, and has a family atmosphere. The food is delicious...and we've tried almost everything over the years. The chef is passionate about ensuring everyone enjoys their meal, and the staff are always very friendly. Child-friendliness is also a top priority here. 🙌🏼 We always feel very comfortable and welcome here.

So… it was amazing!the food was absolutely delicious!!! My daughter had a virgin pina colata (pineapple) the pineapple was so sweet and so good the drink itself was amazing then she had tacos wivh were also very good and tasty. I had the cheese and chicken enchiladas and they were great! Now I’m an American and were i live in Germany, we don’t have real sour cream but THIS place has it and it was just incredible!!! The Owner of the restaurant is Indian but do not let that stop you. He spent two years in Mexico and really knows his way around mexican food! GOING THERE AGAIN LOVE IT!

The food is very tasty. We had three variations of the dish for €18.90. We had a burrito, an enchilada (plenty of meat), a fresh salad (not much for the large Styrofoam bowl), and a taco. We ordered takeout and thought we'd both be full. Unfortunately, that wasn't the case... So: very tasty, but you have to budget more than for a kebab (Euro-Döner in Vhm, for example).

Absolutely delicious food. I had chicken enchiladas once and the Polo Bowl once. Super deliciously seasoned. The food is top-notch.

Very tasty, freshly prepared dishes. There are about 10 tables, so reservations after 7 p.m. or on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays are highly recommended. Prices are fair and the presentation is nice.

Based on the reviews, we had high expectations for this restaurant. It is a short walk from the hotel where we were staying and so an ideal place for dinner, we thought. The restaurant is located in the industry park so there is the road traffic right next to the patio, but it was still somewhat cozy. After being seated, we waited about 15 minutes before anyone came to our table to take a drink or food order. After placing our order we waited half an hour before receiving our drinks, and another half hour before receiving our food. In that hour only a few tables received drinks and only 3 dishes were brought outside, 2 for one table and a chip/guacomole appetizer for another table. The food itself was not worth the wait. The enchilada meat was good but the sauces tasted like they were purchased ready-made from the supermarket. Salad was fresh but the dressing was too thin and sweet. In the time we ate, nothing came out of the kitchen for the other tables. By time we were leaving they were finally bringing out more dishes.

This is my third day eating here, and I can only say it was delicious and the staff was super friendly. I can recommend this restaurant 100%. Thank you for your hospitality.

I had lunch at La Frida Mexicana Restaurant today and would like to share my experience with you. The food was truly outstanding! I was impressed by the variety of dishes and the freshness of the ingredients. The authentic flavors of Mexican cuisine were a particular delight. I would also like to commend the staff. The owner and his wife were extremely friendly and accommodating. They took the time to ensure we were comfortable and answered all our questions about the dishes. All in all, I highly recommend La Frida Mexicana Restaurant. Here, you'll experience not only delicious food but also warm hospitality. I will definitely be back!

We were there today and tried a burger with my wife – I had a beef burger with spicy cheese sauce, and my wife had a chicken burger with mushroom sauce. Both were absolutely delicious – plenty of meat, fresh ingredients, and a wonderfully aromatic flavor. One of the best Mexican restaurants in the region. They serve great food, including vegetarian options. It's a small but beautifully decorated place. The food is hot and can be ordered spicy. The pepperoni on the menu next to the dishes is more flavorful than hot, so don't be afraid to order. For groups of more than four, I recommend making a reservation in advance. We'll definitely be back 👍

Mega tasty, fresh and extensive food. The sauces are so delicious and all homemade! You can taste it straight away. Salads, bowls, the dishes have many different fillings and you can always choose which meat/filling you want👍🏼 So there is something for everyone and you can get it individually. Great cocktails and delicious dessert options. We love being here!

The food was really excellent and the service was very attentive and friendly. The only downside is the ambience - the restaurant is quite narrow and therefore unfortunately quite loud. If you don't mind that, you can enjoy a great evening with delicious food here.

Disgraceful store. We had made a reservation for 15 people days in advance, then came especially from Worms and were left standing there for ages, then we were told that the reservation was nowhere and that we would have to wait forever. Instead of the person making the reservation getting a clever apology or a small voucher as compensation, there was nothing.

Smaller restaurant for a maximum of 25 people. Ate the super fine enchiladas there and had them made spicier if desired. Price/performance ratio you can hardly complain, especially with friendly service. :) Thanks for the delicious food!

Unfortunately very disappointing. We had the fajita steak. The meat wasn't tasty and the side dishes were very carelessly prepared. In addition, the air in the small shop was so stale and stuffy that we were happy to get some fresh air outside after eating. The desert apple turnover with vanilla ice cream, cream and caramel sauce was very tasty.

Food was ok, nothing special. We had to wait 31 minutes for the starter for guacamole chips and another 46 minutes for the main course for 4x tacos and a nino nuggets. Other people were given preferential treatment. Cheap plastic chairs and arrogant staff I wouldn't recommend it for partially finished food or syrupy drinks.

Went with my four year old daughter on a Tuesday afternoon. Not crowded but the place is also not spacious for a lot of guests. The food was great! Good taste and the waiter custom made the guacamole the way my daughter likes it and also the way she likes her burrito. Great service, great food, not too big for a lot of people.

Had a really great experience in the small Mexican restaurant! Had the Chimi Ranchera – super tasty! The service was extremely attentive and really went out of its way to fulfill all your wishes. She even recommended creative special combinations to us so that we could get the best out of it. And the best thing: If it doesn't taste good, they bring you an alternative without any stress. The food came quickly and the service was simply top. I would definitely like to come back!

We had the nachos with guacamole and salsa as an appetizer and loved them. No 0 8 15 Nachos like you know from other restaurants. The corn tacos were also super tasty. The service was also very attentive. My husband was raving on the way home because we've been looking for authentic Mexican for a long time. So we'll definitely come back :)

One of the best restaurants I've ever visited. The food was incredibly tasty, the service was very friendly, competent and respectful. I can only say that if you really want to eat Mexican food you have to go to la Frida, everything else is incomparable! 😍 The sweet young lady with dark hair was really sweet. 🩷

I have no idea where all the positive reviews come from. Were there today. Small shop, more of a fast food joint than a restaurant. Toilets there is only one for men and women terribly dirty! Dust everywhere, cold, dirty toilets. The front door of the restaurant and the toilet are full of black fingers and have probably never been cleaned. Food rather mediocre. The waitress was absolutely asleep. Empty glasses and plates were left on the table for a long time, at times they simply disappeared and there was a smell of smoke coming from the kitchen. In general she was rather inattentive and preferred to have private conversations instead of serving people. Often didn't look you in the eyes, let alone smile nicely. Well, I'm probably used to a different class of location, but that's not possible.

It is a nice place for a cozy dinner or a social gathering with friends. I'm already looking forward to my next visit.

I had the “Mix de Antojitos” and tacos with “carne desherbrada” (sliced ​​beef) and both can only be recommended!! The service is also very good and friendly. Great Mexican food, the 3 Platos are highly recommended, you can choose from a selection of different tacos. In winter we also like to sit inside, there are only a few seats so you should reserve. The area is a commercial area, but you can still sit comfortably outdoors and it is quiet in the evenings.

The food and cocktails (even the non-alcoholic ones) were super tasty and more than enough to fill you up. The waitress and the boss tried very hard to accommodate our group of 9 people. Even though we were seated a bit cramped, it didn't hurt the atmosphere at all. It was definitely not the last time I was there.
