Gestern hatte ich Lust auf Carbonara und bin auf Empfehlung von Freunden im La Lupa gelandet. Dort gab es nicht nur eine exquisite Carbonara – genau so zubereitet, wie sie sein sollte –, sondern auch Mozzarella in Carrozza und eine Platte mit ihren köstlichen Fleischbällchen. Und die Bedienung war einfach fantastisch, unglaublich freundlich. Ich komme auf jeden Fall wieder, wenn ich mit Freunden Lust auf römische Küche habe. Vielen Dank nochmal!

Ich kam wegen einer guten Gricia und ging schon mit dem Plan für meinen nächsten Besuch. La Lupa war eines der besten italienischen Restaurants, die ich je in Berlin hatte. Die Speisekarte zelebriert die römische Küche auf die schönste Art und Weise: einfach, authentisch und voller Geschmack. Jedes Gericht schien eine Geschichte zu erzählen, und vor allem schmeckte es genau so, wie es schmecken sollte. Ich hatte das Glück, die traditionelle Gricia mit einem Kik italienischem schwarzen Trüffel zu probieren: EINFACH WOW! Die Cocktails waren ebenfalls eine wunderbare Überraschung – kreativ, raffiniert und mit viel Liebe zum Detail zubereitet. Was das Erlebnis noch besser machte, war der Service: herzlich, entspannt und wirklich einladend. Wie zu Hause ❤️ Wenn Sie auf der Suche nach trendigem italienischem Essen sind, gibt es in Berlin viele Restaurants. Wenn Sie aber eine echte römische Osteria suchen, gehen Sie zu La Lupa.

Wir hatten vorsichtshalber reserviert, aber das war definitiv nicht nötig. Später am Abend wurde es zwar voller, aber es waren noch ein paar Tische frei. Die Speisekarte ist recht klein, mit etwa acht Pastagerichten und ähnlich vielen Antipasti. Beide Antipasti-Gerichte waren wirklich gut, die Bruschetta allerdings etwas zu salzig. Ich persönlich mag es salzig, daher war es nicht so schlimm. Die Hauptgerichte waren absolut fantastisch. Die Pasta war perfekt gekocht und die Saucen schmeckten hervorragend. Einziger Kritikpunkt: Die Saucen waren extrem salzig. Das Fleisch in unseren Gerichten war ohnehin schon salzig, aber es war, als ob noch extra Salz hinzugefügt worden wäre. Die Desserts waren köstlich. Sie waren schlicht, aber lecker.

Die beste Carbonara, die ich je gegessen habe!! Die frischen Trüffel obendrauf waren einfach himmlisch. Außerdem war das Personal super nett und hilfsbereit <3 Ein absolutes Muss bei einem Berlin-Besuch!

Ich war im La Lupa zum Abendessen, um den Geburtstag meiner Schwägerin zu feiern, und es war ein fantastischer Abend. Wir betraten ein sehr ruhiges Restaurant mit gedämpftem Licht und einer super gemütlichen Atmosphäre. Wir wurden von Federica und Monique bedient, die überaus freundlich waren und uns die Speisekarte sehr gut erklärten. Das Essen war von hervorragender Qualität. Der Käsekuchen war für mich das absolute Highlight! Ich kann jedem einen Besuch in diesem tollen Restaurant in Berlin wärmstens empfehlen.

Wir waren am Sonntagabend dort essen. Das Personal, das Essen und die Bedienung waren super freundlich. Die Vorspeisen (Fleischbällchen, Chicorée und Mozzarella in Carrozza) und die Hauptgerichte wie Cacio e Pepe, Amatriciana und Carbonara waren wirklich hervorragend! Meine Freundin schwärmt schon seit ihrer Zeit in Berlin von La Lupa. Es ist ihr Lieblingsrestaurant, und endlich haben wir es bei unserem Besuch geschafft, dort hinzugehen. Die Mitarbeiter sind alle super freundlich und gesprächig. So einladend und gemütlich! Das Essen war unglaublich. Ich werde noch lange von der Pasta träumen! Die Vorspeisen waren köstlich. Ich freue mich schon sehr darauf, wiederzukommen und mehr zu probieren. Es gab auch viele vegetarische Optionen.

Ich hatte einen fantastischen Abend im La Lupa! Die Bedienung war super freundlich und hat regelmäßig nach uns geschaut. Wir hatten ein paar Vorspeisen (unbedingt die Polpette probieren; die Soße ist köstlich!) und ich hatte eine klassische Carbonara (Guanciale und Pecorino, ganz ohne Sahne!). Monicas Service war fantastisch... tolle Beratung, eine angenehme Atmosphäre und vieles mehr! Was für ein Erlebnis!

Wir waren wirklich enttäuscht. Das Besteck und die Teller waren schmutzig, und einige Teller hatten Absplitterungen. Die Tische und Stühle draußen waren unbequem. Die Vorspeisen waren schlecht – die Fleischbällchen waren roh und das Fleisch roch unangenehm. Der Service war sehr langsam; wir warteten fast eine Stunde auf die Pasta. Das Essen war bestenfalls mittelmäßig. Insgesamt kann ich dieses Restaurant nicht empfehlen.

Die Pasta war in Ordnung, nichts Besonderes, aber leider hatte ich danach Magenschmerzen, was das Erlebnis wirklich getrübt hat. Das Restaurant ist außerdem ziemlich laut, sodass man weder das Essen genießen noch sich unterhalten kann. Positiv war jedoch der sehr nette und aufmerksame Kellner. Insgesamt ein durchschnittlicher Besuch mit einigen negativen Aspekten.

Seit ich dieses Restaurant kenne, ist es mein Lieblingsrestaurant, wenn ich die beste Carbonara der Stadt und einen guten Rotwein genießen möchte. Der Service und die Atmosphäre sind ebenfalls sehr gut! Ich kann es absolut empfehlen! 👌

Das beste italienische Essen in Berlin. Ein fantastisches Erlebnis.

Wir waren letzte Woche mit Freunden dort, um etwas zu trinken, und es hat uns super gefallen. Der Barkeeper ist fantastisch. Es gibt eine große Auswahl an alkoholischen und alkoholfreien Cocktails. Das Lokal ist sehr gemütlich. Ich komme bald wieder.

Meine Frau stammt aus Rom, und wir waren im Urlaub in Berlin. Wir besuchten La Lupa und fühlten uns wie in Rom. Das Essen war authentisch römisch. Der Barkeeper war ein echter Original und mixte fantastische Cocktails. Absolut empfehlenswert.

Aufgrund der positiven Bewertungen hier haben wir La Lupa spontan ausprobiert. Abgesehen vom Service, der wirklich sehr bemüht und nett war, war der Besuch leider eine Enttäuschung. Von einem Restaurant, das als Hauptspeise nur Nudeln anbietet, ist schon zu erwarten, dass die Tomatensauce nach irgendwas schmeckt, als nur leicht säuerlich. Besonders ärgerlich war es, dass auch das Supli nach nicht viel schmeckte, außer nach der säuerlichen Tomatensauce. Rotwein sollte außerdem in der Regel nicht kalt sein. Insgesamt also eine Enttäuschung, wiederkomme werde ich daher sicherlich nicht.

Zum ersten Mal im La Lupa gewesen (mit Reservierung). Nettes Lokal mit schöner Atmosphäre, ziemlich laut, wenn es voll ist. Sehr freundlicher und aufmerksamer Service. Der Vorspeisenteller war geschmacklich okay, für den Preis sehr übersichtlich. Die Pasta war sehr gut. Die Weine maximal durchschnittlich und überteuert. Das Dessert - Tiramisu im Weinglas serviert - war schmackhaft, hatte aber rein gar nichts mit Tiramisu zu tun- eher eine bessere Puddingcreme mit Kakaopulver. Unsere Rückmeldung wurde mit " Ist ein Hausrezept" beantwortet. Wir waren überrascht zu erfahren, dass wir nur einen 2-Stunden- Slot gebucht hatten, als wir freundlich und bestimmt aufgefordert wurden, zu bezahlen. Dies wäre völlig in Ordnung gewesen, hätte man uns bei der Reservierung informiert. Insgesamt ein ganz netter Abend, jedoch kein stimmiges Preis-Leistungs- Verhältnis und daher keinen zweiten Besuch wert.

Maybe they had a bad day when we visited, but as we arrived the restaurant didn’t smell great, the food tasted ok, not good nor great and the staff started cleaning with bleach as we were still having dessert. So not a great experience unfortunately.

Stopped by on a Saturday night when family were in town and we ordered a bit of everything. I would say overall the pastas weren’t amazing but they were very good relative to the price point. For a party of 4 we averaged 20-25 per person with drinks. I can recommend the Gricia pasta that was the highlight of the evening. The red sauce pastas were just okay but nothing spectacular. Ambience is very casual yet lively. Great spot for a meetup with friends. Service was very nice. They were warm, and friendly. The staff took time to repeat the specials and explain each one.

We reserved a table by phone for 8 pm. The staff misunderstood and noted the reservation for 8:30 pm. If it's difficult to understand callers due to the noise level, then they shouldn't accept phone reservations and should direct customers to online booking. We made a wasted trip to Kreuzberg for this, which was very frustrating. A good host would have handled the situation differently.

A lovely, personal, and charming neighborhood restaurant. Very friendly service. Small menu, but they also offer a daily specials menu. Mainly appetizers and pasta. No pizza. Highly recommended.

The staff is friendly, but the food was unfortunately only average and not warm enough, and the atmosphere was rather loud.

Place with a nice atmosphere and great Roman food. Have bene there several times and I can recommend suppli and cacio e pepe. Unfortunately cicoria ripassata ends soon, so I suggest to get there earlier since it's a must have. Service was excellent, friendly staff and caring about customers.

Excellent Italian dinner in Berlin. The carbonara was fantastic...it felt like we were in Rome! The place was welcoming and the staff were delightful.

I was looking for a real Italian restaurant, and when I saw Supplí in the photos on Google Maps, I knew it would be good. And La Lupa didn't disappoint! I had the daily special for my main course: cacio e pepe al pistacchio, and my friend had amatriciana. Both were so, so delicious! It's very cozy inside, and the service was very friendly! Gabriele gave us good advice about portion sizes. I'll definitely be back the next time I'm in Berlin :)

Went here for our anniversary dinner a few nights ago. Service was nice. Wine was fine. The antipasto for €25 had barely anything to eat on there, 3 little sticks of cheese, 3 pieces of salami, 3 little half-twigs of salami stick and one or two other items, it was severe. Pasta was ok but underwhelming, again small portions with nothing great. Will give you the third star for service.

That's a hidden gem for Roman food right here. Its does not get more authentic than that. The folks serving us were relaxed, attentive, helpful and super friendly. Then the food arrives and it hits you. Buonissimo

The starters were good, but the Sugo delle Polpette and the Carbonara were terrible. The Carbonara had a slightly bitter taste, and the pasta with meatballs came only with ragu and no meatballs. Overall, very disappointing

During my stay in Berlin, I had to choose Italian cuisine at least once a day at the request of my three-year-old daughter, who can't go to sleep without a big plate of pasta. Well, I have reason to believe that La Lupa is the only true Italian restaurant in Berlin. Top-quality ingredients cooked to perfection. The atmosphere is informal, the service is good. Closing my eyes, it felt like I was in a Trastevere osteria.

Easily the best carbonara I’ve ever had

I visited for the first time with a friend of mine. We had quiet the large order: antipasti, drinks, and pasta (obviously). However I accidentally ordered pasta with pork. I ordered the Pasta La Lupa. There was no display of meat, no info, no special marking or icons. And apparently (as I found out later) the Italian word Amateiciana means pork. Unfortunately while there was one German and one Englisch translation, the word Amatriciana was not translated. I thought it was cheese. Now I could have asked, but seeing there is no mark or info about meat I thought its okay. Long story short: the food came, I ate, found meat in my mouth, that I couldn't ear for religious reasons. When I told the waitress, she was kind and wanted to make sure I don't feel uncomfortable. And offered to give me a new pasta. I assume she thought just like me that it shouldn't be a problem since it was an honest mistake and not entirely my fault as there was no proper display or translation/description of the ingredients. However she returned back a minute later with my old plate (as to suggest eat it or pay for a new one) and said the owner reported back to me that I have to pay if I want another pasta. He showed no empathy or just simpel kindness. I was shocked over the situation, no sympathy, no sensitivity for the situation. No respect for special circumstance. It was grotesque, it has been a while since I felt that way (last time as a child in east berlin when people weren't used muslims lol). And shocked over the greedeness of the owner saving coins. For a pasta that may be costs 3-4€ in the making. Since I was hungry I ordered another pasta which he made me pay for. I would have appreciated some level of "Kulanz" as we say in German. An honest mistake that is not even entirely the customers fault, as there was no sufficient display of information. It wasn't about taste, or me being picky. I genuinely couldn't eat it and I felt like I had to explain myself a lot. No alternative either - like a dessert for the confusion or an espresso as a "do good". Nothing. I only say this because I had a cold soup at a Spanish place the weekend before which had bacon in it and which I only found out after it arrived. The cook came personally and gave me another soup (no additionally charges). Due to the same mistake (no proper information). Here is some display of goodwill and kindness shown by the owner. I now that while restaurant culture is changing in Berlin and customer is no longer "king" (which I don't expect in this scenario) there should be some level of courtesy left to offer to customers. Especially if you want the customer to come back - was it really worth it being greedy?! ... simply rude. As for the pasta itself - it was okay, simply okay. But not worth the hype. Anyone with decent cooking skills could have prepared the same. Definitely not worth 16 eur for simple pasta. The second pasta almost had no taste/ flavour, specifically the carbonara sauce (without meat this time).

We had a reservation at a bar down the road but on arrival we discovered it was a smoking bar, and we didn’t want that so we tried our luck at La Lupa to see if they had space for us. The team at La Lupa moved tables around and really worked hard to accommodate us even though they were full. Thank you so so much! The food was excellent, the service was fantastic and the wine I had was really delicious. Can’t wait to go back!

A corner of Rome in Berlin. I live in Rome and came across this restaurant during a holiday in Berlin. I have to tell the truth: I didn't expect to eat Roman food so well outside of Rome... but instead it was a surprise that took me by surprise. The parmigiana was spectacular, one of those that make you silent at the first bite. Relaxed atmosphere, kind service and dishes that taste like home. A place to note down.

La Lupa has been our go-to date spot for the past 5 years, and it always delivers. We usually go for appetizers, drinks, and desserts — the suppli, tiramisu, and especially the cheesecake are amazing!! Occasionally we get a big pasta dish like carbonara or cacio e pepe. Service has always been friendly and warm. The manager/owner is super nice and accommodating — they’ve even helped us with two fun birthday orders: a whole cheesecake once, and a “suppli cake” made from mini suppli another time! We love coming in the summer for the outdoor or window seating. Indoors in the winter can get a bit loud with larger groups due to the acoustic of the building, but it never stops us from returning. Always excited to go, and always leave happy!

Don't understand the great reviews. The food was okay, but nothing more. Map is really manageable. We waited almost 1 hour for our pasta… Wouldn't come back. - After this review, the restaurant owner accused me of lying about my review and the waiting time. So I'll correct it again: we had an apperatizer for 4 people, which we shared. However, about an hour had passed before it came. I would just avoid the restaurant. There are better ones. The restaurant's flippant response also shows how customer opinions are handled here.

The waiters were friendly. The dessert was really good. The appetizer plate was alright. The wine was enjoyable. Overpriced for what you get. Unfortunately the pasta is extremely greasy and doesn't have that much taste. Didn't finish the plate. Had stomach ache afterwards.

We were here for the first time. I would definitely recommend making a reservation in advance. The best pasta I've ever had with the best antipasti you can honestly have. The menu is very varied and there are also vegetarian options. I would come here again.

Authentic Italian food. The point deduction is for the lack of pizza on the menu. This ruined my companion's mood for almost the entire evening. The chairs aren't the most comfortable either. After all the complaining, the most important thing: the pasta is super delicious!

When it comes to the diversity of gastronomy, Berlin is really spoiled. Therefore, it is not at all easy to delight the spoiled Berlin palate. Well, you can recommend La Lupa with a clear conscience when it comes to authentic Roman cuisine. The ambience is traditionally Italian, the small tables make it seem intimate, the red wall color in combination with the wooden interior and the photos on the walls create a cozy atmosphere. We received a very friendly welcome, the service was friendly and warm. We felt like guests in the truest sense of the word. The food is simple, but very well crafted; cooking simple things well is always the real art. By the way, the stuffed olives were particularly delicious. The wine list is well-stocked and we weren't disappointed here either. All in all, a lovely evening and a clear recommendation!

A colleague recommended the restaurant to me and we ate there. He is Italian himself and confirms that the cuisine here is originally Italian. As a starter I had a fried rice pocket with mozzarella and classic Pomodore basil. It was super tasty, the noodles were on point and enough to fill you up. The prices are moderate and not excessive. The atmosphere is appealing and reservations are mandatory as there are not many tables but there is good demand.

Experience of 10!! Incredible Roman cuisine restaurant! Exquisite food and very interesting drink menu (the limoncelo spritz was delicious) Super friendly and attentive staff and affordable prices! The truth is that this site is missing nothing.

Very few of the dishes were good, most were just meh, and overpriced. Takeaway boxes for 0.50€ when the pasta costs 13-16 is just greedy. It seems like there was a lack of dishes in the place as we had to ask for glasses multiple times and we've been asked too frequently if they can take our plates. Would not come back

Food is not bad, but not good either. The pasta was 5/10 (pistacchio, carbonara), antipasti 6/10 (the arancini are quite good, but actually don't fit in a restaurant in this price range). Good selection of wine. Price/performance rather poor
