Great pasta every time that I come here. Unfortunately, the two last times when I visited then another table was super loud. It made it impossible to have a normal conversation. Even the waitress found it difficult to hear us when we ordered.

Unfortunately, after an hour we were asked to leave our table because other guests had reserved. As an interim solution, there was a table inside, from which we were thrown out with the bill half an hour later.

I’ve been a regular at this restaurant since it opened, and I can confidently say it’s one of my favorites. Every visit leaves me satisfied, thanks to Gianluca’s authentic Roman cuisine. The dishes are consistently delicious, and the service is always warm and welcoming. Whether you’re a fan of classic Italian dishes or looking to try something new, you can’t go wrong here.

La cucina romana meglio che a Roma. Si può? Si, a Berlino da Gianluca e Giordana è possibile. Piatti preparati con cura e amore secondo la migliore tradizione (ed i migliori prodotti che arrivano direttamente dall’Italia) cucinati espressi al momento. Carbonara, gricia, amatriciana … ma anche supplì, polpette, la fantastica porchetta di Ariccia e le coppiette. Menzione speciale per i dolci. Cheesecake con le visciole… no vabbè … un sogno. Bravi ragazzi, siete davvero speciali!

Best original Italian pasta in town. The only downside is that the table can be booked only for 90 mins if you're booking an early dinner. Also, they are very accommodating for lactose intolerant guests. Highly recommended.

The Cabonara cannot be called Cabonara. The pasta was way too dry and there was about 1kg of Parmesan mixed in. That was a unique thing, thank you 👍

A good Italian restaurant with a menu that particularly impresses with its diverse selection of starters. Various pasta dishes are offered as main courses, which are complemented by daily variations. The food itself is reasonably priced, tastes good, but doesn't blow us away. However, the drinks (Aperol and Limoncello Spritz) and the tiramisu for dessert – served in a wine glass – were excellent. The atmosphere is rustic but appropriate. Unfortunately it was a bit cold. The service was extremely friendly and accommodating. In order to get a place, you must reserve in advance.

Went here for dinner. Great food, friendly staff, good vibes - all in all I would recommend this place. We were celebrating a birthday and got a free shot on the house at the end, so that was a great touch.

I would like to start this review saying that I took my time reading other’s people posts about this restaurant, before sharing my opinion. I think nowadays it’s too easy, unfortunately, to spread judgments on the internet about this or that topic, this or that restaurant, activity or business. The experience in this place was flawless, the food was amazing and the atmosphere cozy and welcoming. Everything exceeded my expectations, and I’m Italian: I would like to point out this just to let the reader understand this review is coming from somebody who had plenty of comparisons. I was not surprised, anyways, when reading the reviews I found out that people who have no culinary relatable culture or experience took the time to share their point of view about dishes they don’t quite understand, in an impolite way, damaging the business of who is putting passion and authentic products on the table in a place far away from home. Places like this, which promote culinary diversity and which give the opportunity to experience flavors of this kind even outside Italy and here in Berlin, should be protected and respected. Please be careful not to dispense your one star reviews for nonsense, you are not cool! You just seem ignorant 🙂

It was good, but for the 5th star I'm missing that certain extra with the house pasta, especially for 13/15€.

The service keeps annoying you every 2 minutes if you don't want to finally order. We barely had time to read the card and it was back. Starters and main courses must be ordered together. The waitress really didn't have any sensitivity at all, kept coming and asking if you wanted to order something again. Food was ok. Pasta polpette is made with ragu and not with polpette (about 10 grams of meat per whole portion), which is also absurd. Then please just call it pasta with tomato sauce.

The chef was in love I guess. Saltiest pasta of my life (Carbonara). I almost couldn’t eat it. Service seemed overwhelmed and the timing of the courses was off. The mushroom Balls were excellent tho.

First of all the negative. We have been waiting for about 30min für our Antipasti, which is ok, but over an hour for our main menu, although we were ordering everything at the same time and we all ordered noodles. I went to the waiter just to be sure that they have not forgotten our order and when we received our meal, literally the cook came by, served the last plate with the timestamped order in his hand and explained in Italian, to our Italien friends, that it is our fault that it took so long, they were busy and if we can’t be patient. Nonetheless other people who stepped in later, got their food faster, they were even finished before we started. What the cook was talking about was complete nonsense and a cheekiness. All in all the food was quite good and the Ambiente is ok. The other staff was friendly but this is obviously a no-go in treating a customer, putting them down, instead of apologizing…

Sat down around 19:15 and ordered 15 minutes later. Main courses arrived more than 1 hour later. Portion are small and prices high. Not to mention 8 euro for a wine glass. Food is not bad but nothing special unfortunately

La Lupa provides a pleasant atmosphere and serves Italian cuisine. I particularly enjoyed their Parmigiana, which features eggplant and mozzarella. It's a dish worth trying in a nice dining setting.

Cozy place, suitable for dinners for couples and groups. Selection of first choice starters and first courses. The mozzarella in carrozza is highly recommended. Choice of wines also decent, price per glass a little exaggerated. The bottle is better. Until next time !

I've heard a lot of good things about this restaurant, so my expectations were apparently too high. Pasta was good... but unfortunately not 100% my taste. Unfortunately it arrived skin warm. Maybe I don't understand something but I've gotten used to warmer pasta. Unfortunately, food is only 3 stars. Ambience was good and the staff also tried hard :)

Went with a group of friends, can confirm it’s a good spot for friend group dinners. Staff was very friendly & accommodating, made the place feel more cozy and like you’re in someone else’s home. Antipasto & wines were all great, but gotta say the pastas were quite average: it needed bit more salt & was dry. Can’t remember the exact dish, but it’s with truffle and a dish that was on the blackboard. Will still def come back tho cos of the vibe, antipasto & vino.

Die Carrozza und Supli schmecken sehr lecker. Die Pasta ist eher durchschnittlich. Am Abend gab es einen Geburtstagstisch, welcher sehr laut war, sodass ein normales Gespräch nicht möglich war.

We arrived to the restaurant at 19:00, ordered appetisers and main dish along with a bottle of wine. Service was on the slow side. At 20:30 the waiter told us there is another reservation so we should leave the table in 10 minutes. It is acceptable to reserve tables for limited time of course, but this should be clearly communicated either when making the reservation, or when ordering the food and drinks. Then we asked for the bill. Five minutes later, the owner came to our table and said “Come to the cash register.” This is not the expected behaviour when you are in a supposedly “nice” restaurant with above average prices. As we were packing our stuff and wearing our jackets, the owner was still telling us “the other group is waiting.” Well, what can we do? When it comes to the food (I ate here twice) - some appetisers are really good, but there are quite a good number of deep fried mediocre stuff. Pasta is OK. Tiramisu is recommended. Overall - a little bit overpriced for what you eat, and *highly* overpriced for how you’re being served.

Ottimo ristorante. Tipica cucina romana. Cibo ottimo, personale cordiale. Ti sembra di essere in un ristorante a Roma. Quando tornerò a Berlino sicuramente verrò a trovarvi. Bravi ragazzi 👍

El lugar es muy acogedor y el servicio es muy cercano y amable, destacó la comida, excelente calidad, muy fresco y sabor a Italia de verdad! Totalmente recomendable :)

Essen war gut. Pasta „La Lupa“ ist zu empfehlen. Gemütliche Atmosphäre. Sehr freundliche Bedienung, allerdings kam das Essen von einer Person in unserer Gruppe sehr spät (anscheinend wurde die Bestellung aus Versehen falsch aufgenommen).

We had the mixed antipasto ‘la lupa’, a truffle carbonara and the mezze maniche all’amatriciana. Every single thing was absolutely delicious, but what really blew me away was the tomato sugo. I can honestly say with all confidence that I’ve never ever tasted something so authentic outside of Italy, or my mother’s kitchen. Once you taste this sugo you’ll understand what pasta is really supposed to taste like - and let me tell you right now, everything else will pale in comparison. If you’re looking for a fine dining experience or a quiet location you won’t find it here. All you’ll find is one of the best Italians in Berlin.

I loved that place, I think they have the best Pasta that I ever ate in Berlin, the people were also so nice , the prices were reasonable and the portions were big enough. I really recommend this place 👌 ☺

Mein Freund und ich sind aus Hamburg zu Besuch und waren das erste mal hier. Das Essen war wirklich unglaublich lecker und das Preis Leistungsverhältnis total angemessen wenn nicht sogar günstig für das was man bekommt. Ich hatte eine Carbonara und mein Freund Spaghetti mit Tolatensoße und Burrata. So eine leckere Carbonara hatte ich zuletzt im Korsika Urlaub. Wirklich auf den Punkt genau perfekt wie sie sein soll. Mein Freund war auch zu 100% begeistert. Der Aperol war ebenso perfekt. Leider kein Coke Zero gehabt. Draußen zu sitzen war auch super entspannt im Zentrum doch dennoch ruhig. Leider haben wir ca 50 min auf das Essen gewartet. Es hat sich jedoch definitiv gelohnt. Die Bedienung spricht leider nur englisch war für uns jedoch okay. Die Kellnerin war manchmal etwas unaufmerksam.. Sobald wir wieder in Berlin sind kommen wir definitiv wieder die Carbonara war wirklich super lecker !!

Ich habe La Lupa häufiger als 100 Mal besucht (wohne in der Nachbarschaft). Das Essen ist immer hervorragend, das Personal immer aufmerksam und freundlich, der Besitzer der beste und zuvorkommendste Gastronom, den ich kenne.

Leider nur eine 6/10. Carbonara war Irgendwie nicht ganz so wie ich das aus Rom kannte, etwas sehr pfeffrig. Hatte leider mehr erwartet, Espresso eine Katastrophe und Tiramisu leider zu süß. Die Leute sind aber nett! Edit: Der Service war wirklich sehr bemüht und die Weinempfehlung war sehr gut. Eine zweite Chance gibts bestimmt!

Sorry, aber wer hier wegen des Essens schlecht bewertet hat seine Geschmacksnerven irgendwo zuhause vergessen. Selbst fünf Sterne sind für diese Osteria nicht genug! Großartige Zutaten, unfassbar authentische Küche. Ich wurde während des Essens zurück in meine Kindheit katapultiert. DAS ist Rom, Leute. Hier bekommt ihr die beste Pasta Berlins und typisch römische Vorspeisen sowie Supplì vom Feinsten. Hier wird alles frisch gekocht, die besten Lebensmittel direkt aus Rom importiert. Ich liebe das Essen und die Crew ♥️

Overpriced for nothing! NEVER AGAIN!

First of all, I disagree with the comments about the service: I found it nice and professional. Could it be nicer? Yes, but totally not unpolite like I read in some reviews here. But let´s talk about what I care most: FOOD. I was disappointed. Aperitivi Teller was totally flat, with some highlights. Bruschetta: how can you make it totally tasteless? (I guess that not using garlic, or not enough, is a choice given by the market). Cacio & Pepe: pecorino cheese was probably too seasoned (has to be mid-seasoned, to be "spicy" but mild too) and the overall taste was not so pleasant. I can not say I ate bad, because it would not be true but not good either, totally under my expectations and my experience in eating in Rome (ok, graziarcazzo). I would suggest to change suppliers for the ingredients or try different ones, because skills are there (Pasta was correctly "al dente", fried food was really well fried and so on) but some ingredients are below the standards you would expect for such kind of cuisine. Daje!

The best Roman restaurant that I have been to in Berlin. Very authentic regional food and atmosphere in a nicely furnished restaurant, managed by a great Roman team who shape the entire experience. The Polpette al Sugo are spectacular - both the meatballs and the sauce. The Porchetta is really good. The excellence of Pasta alla Gricia, Carbonara, Cacio e Pepe and Amatriciana goes without saying. After having lived myself in Italy, definitely a place to recommend for everyone who likes real, regionally distinguished Italian food and a true Roman experience.

Frisch zubereitete Gerichte und sehr lecker

Best carbonara in town!!! Pasta is aldente, guancale is crispy and sauce creamy. Make sure to ask for the daily specials, because they are seasonal and therefore always changing and fresh. Must try is the mixed starter Antipasti plate to share, which has a little bit of everything. Good selection of wine and lovely service. It's a small restaurant, so reservation is necessary. What can I say... love this place.

I go here to guzzle down espresso martinis, eat my body’s weight in pasta and admire the hot owner’s work ethic. My go-to spot for carbonara in Berlin.

Lauwarmes bis kaltes Essen! Hatten uns sehr gefreut, weil die Bilder toll aussehen und so viele gute Bewertungen geschrieben wurden. Wundert uns. Hatten zwei lauwarme bis kalte Parmigiana. Und Pasta mit Trüffel und Steinpilzen, die so geschmacklos und ebenfalls! lauwarm waren. Und das für 18 Euro. Das war leider eine der schlechtesten Pastas, die wir in so einer Preisklasse gegessen haben. Schade. Der Wein war gut. Aber da gibt es in der Gegend wirklich besser italienische Restaurants.

Extremely rude service. Accused of booking a table for the wrong amount of people rather than their being any acknowledgement of a misunderstanding; waiting times for the food were very long; had to ask multiple times for plates, cutlery, water etc; and then were rushed off our table (we were told the table was booked in advance but given the delay with our order, I'm not sure when were expected to eat...).The staff actually took plates from infront of us without asking because they were trying to rush us out. Appalling management, the consequences of which are offset onto the customer. I understand saturday nights are busy and stressful and that the staff were doing their best to manage everything. The owner needs to ensure proper training and hire enough staff before charging the prices they do. Wouldn't recommend.

Table de cinq personnes, réservation faite par téléphone la veille. Equipe agréable, a pu nous conseiller sur la carte des vins. Côté menu, il y a une bonne variété de pâtes et d’antipastis. D’ordinaire je ne suis pas trop fan, mais les photos des avis Google m’ont donné envie. Possibilité de régler par carte.
