We came across the Waldpension by chance and spent a night there. The dinner under the trees, the very quiet area and the rich breakfast surprised us. Performance and staff top. I can recommend this house with a clear conscience.

Beautiful and secluded place. A perfect base for motorcycle trips deep into Bavaria or Tyrol. Very nice staff and owners. Rooms spacious and clean. The silence in this place is exceptional. A stay here regenerates.

Great food, worth the wait! Because many guesthouse guests also eat their included dinner in Jägerstüberl, you have to expect considerable waiting times as an external guest. But it's worth it because the food is really handmade and tastes incredibly delicious. We had a Bierbrauerschnitzel and an Apache Steak. The chef nailed the desired doneness of the steak and the meat melted in the mouth. Will definitely be back next time I visit Griesbach.

Nice and quiet location. The food was very good and plentiful, and the prices were also completely OK. The breakfast buffet offers a wide range of options. Extra requests were no problem. We were with a motorcycle group and were welcomed very friendly.

It is an oasis of calm for lovers. Away from the city, on one side the forest and around the corn field. Excellent cuisine, portions sufficient even for a big eater. Staff very accommodating. Yesterday it was 30 degrees in the shade and the lady was serving and still smiling. He has my admiration. There is a dialysis center nearby, so we will definitely come more times.

If that were possible, I would give it 10 ☀️. This is our second time here and definitely not the last time. Food is fantastic - thank you Armin 👨‍🍳- and thank you Lidia and your team for the service. The location is perfect for a truly quiet, relaxing holiday. Away from any traffic, but close to the center of Bad Griesbach.

We are there right now and had a delicious meal while sitting comfortably outside in the beer garden. Gurnard fillet, porcini mushroom cream soup, gratinated cheese with mango chutney and roast venison, a beer, everything was tip-top. Since we're here for a week, we'll definitely come back.

Quiet, quiet, Waldpension Jägerstüberl. Exactly in this order, you will find absolute peace here to sleep relaxed. Very nice hosts with an excellent price-performance ratio.

We were there with our two small children, who were really well looked after. They were given art supplies and games by the boss and were so engrossed that we were able to have dinner in peace. The food was always delicious and our children always wanted to come back because they loved it just as much as we did. We will definitely come back on our next vacation.

The Hotel Waldpension Jägerstüberl in Bad Griesbach is a very pleasant and recommended place where you can enjoy peace and quiet and very good food. The innkeepers and staff are extremely friendly and the service is excellent. The meals are worth highlighting. A rich breakfast gives a good start to the day, and the evening meal is plentiful and very tasty, so special praise goes to the kitchen with 5 *****. The best way to reach the hotel is by car, as it is located just outside of Bad Griesbach on the edge of the forest.

Very nice inn, very good food, very nice owners and service, quiet location, we like the beer garden and the peace and quiet!!!!!! Hiking trails in the surrounding area, not far from the thermal baths, shopping opportunities not far away either, ... we'll be happy to come back! It's always nice here!!... Rooms have been renovated and have become very nice!

... excellent food, price/performance ratio is second to none. The boss personally designs the service. I don't know of any place far and wide that could come close to standing up to the Jägerstüberl.

Unfortunately I was only there for one night as a stopover, but everything was great. When I was just able to escape into the house in the pouring rain, Lydia came towards me with a dry towel so that I could dry myself off. Dinner was amazing, I ordered an onion roast with spaetzle, simply delicious, and again the friendly service. Unfortunately the weather didn't cooperate. Gladly again at any time.

Very nice guesthouse in the middle of the countryside, we only stopped in while hiking and sat outside. Despite the kitchen being closed, we were served very nicely and deliciously, thank you! :) The prices are also very reasonable, overall highly recommended.

We were there for the first time. And we were thrilled. If you need peace and quiet, you've come to the right place. It's a bit out of the way but the hotel is great. You have a great view. The staff is super friendly. The food is super tasty and the price is right too. It is really recommended. The rooms are well equipped.

Simple, very quiet guesthouse, Our room was relatively new and had everything you needed. Staff very nice, really good cuisine👍👍👍.so I would come back at any time. Price/performance is right👌

Bright guest room, simple. Friendly waitresses. Large selection of food. We had gratinated goat cheese, liver dumpling soup, roast lamb and roast venison. Everything tasted good, good value for money, but everything could have been seasoned much better. Point of criticism: we had just put down the cutlery for the starters, so there were still plates in front of us when the main courses arrived. Otherwise, the detour into the forest is definitely worth it.

I come from the international small transport industry, so I've traveled a lot and stayed in a few guesthouses, but the Waldpension Jägerstüberl has far surpassed all the others in a positive way. Very courteous staff. I was able to order my steak before I arrived and had it on the table just minutes after I arrived. They prepared everything according to my arrival time. The cuisine is excellent, the Apache steak was simply brilliant! The rooms are clean and the location is very idyllic and quiet.

Went to eat in the Jägerstüberl again today and it was really good again. Had feta gratinated with bacon, ravioli with mushrooms, a wonderful beef steak, nut-crusted chicken and a wonderful roast venison. In addition to the very good food, we were served very friendly and attentively. So all in all a very good decision and would be recommended at any time!

Very nice hotel and extremely quiet location. The food and drinks are of excellent quality. We have booked again for November. There is a charging station for electric cars. Unreservedly recommended.

Very nice restaurant, delicious food and a large selection of dishes. Ideal for stopping off while hiking. Not far from the center of Bad Griesbach.

Very clean and Bavarian flair. Good kitchen. Only rooms have old furniture, which gives it that old Bavarian touch. Unfortunately, we had a modernly renovated bathroom with a leaking toilet, which meant the floor was completely wet. Very nice, quiet walks around it were possible and it wasn't far to the thermal baths. It is already a first class guesthouse. The dog was not allowed to be alone in the room.

Our impression of this beautiful hotel was simply GREAT. Starting with Mrs. and Mr. Haslinger right through to the service staff, they are simply top notch. The beautiful hotel is very quietly located in the middle of meadows and fields on the edge of the forest in Bad Griesbach. It felt like a visit to friends, Ms. Haslinger and the staff were always careful to ensure that the guest was completely satisfied. Family-run hotel, great location for dog owners as you can enjoy long walks without stress. The room was very spacious and very clean. We were warmly welcomed and immediately felt like a family. We were booked as guests from December 21st, 2023 to December 23rd, 2023 via Groupon including a 3-course menu. The breakfast was more than sufficient, the 3-course menu in the evening was simply great, the evening meals were definitely star-level. All in all, great value for money, absolutely recommended. Many thanks to the owners :-)

Surrounded by forests and meadows just outside Bad Griesbach, you will find this rustic accommodation that allows you to relax. The menu was a lot more varied than expected and you go to bed well fed. A traditional, warm service that is diligent and the rooms, which were equipped with beautiful, well-preserved farm furniture, round the whole thing off to a perfect place for people who want to feel the simple beauty and want to recover from all the modern everyday fuss.

A bit lonely but very cozy place. Price/performance ratio fits, food nicely prepared and very tasty. I can only recommend!

Auf den ersten Blick war alles super, das Essen war mega lecker. Die Chefin super nett. Aber als wir angereist sind stand eine leere Flasche aufm Tisch, ok wir hatten ja was zum trinken dabei. Leider hatte ich dann noch an der Duschkabine Blutspritzer entdeckt und das Kopfkissen war geschimmelt. Das Hotel ist sehr schön, es sollte mehr auf Sauberkeit in den Zimmern geachtet werden.

Sehr angenehme Pension mitten im Wald, leckeres Frühstücksbuffet mit reichlich Auswahl. . Essen im Restaurant war sehr gut, frische Zutaten. Nette Besitzer. Gerne wieder.

Sehr schönes gemütliches Gasthaus am Waldrand! Wir waren, das zweite Mal hier und fühlten uns die 5 Tage sehr wohl in diesem Haus!

Wir waren sehr zufrieden mit dem Zimmer und ganz besonders mit dem Speisenangbot. Hier kocht der Chef noch selbst ganz frisch, lecker und mit Liebe. Ein top Preis - Leistungsverhältnis, was man suchen kann. Kommunikation wird auch hier ganz groß geschrieben, freundlich, kompetent und hilfsbereit das zeichnet auch die Chefin aus. Wir kommen bestimmt wieder und bedanken uns für die schönen Tage.

Schöne große Zimmer mit Balkon, gute Küche mit frischen sehr gut Zubereiteten Essen. freundliches Personal. Mein Fazit einfach empfehlenswert.

Fam. Haslinger erfreut uns jedes Mal mit einer tollen Bewirtung. Nachdem wir anfangs über Groupon reserviert haben, sind wir als Paar und als Einzelreisender mehrmals im Jahr vor Ort. Die Verköstigung Abends ist der Hit! Lecker, qualitativ hochwertig, einfach super. Das Haus ist idyllisch gelegen und bietet genügend Komfort zum perfekten Ausspannen. Mit der Kurkarte geht's dann regelmäßig in die Therme Bad Griesbach. Ein Kurzurlaub mit Wohlfühlfaktor!

Zimmer sehr sauber! Essen auch sehr fein.... nur beim Frühstück da fehlt die Auswahl... wenn ihr das nich hinbekommt dann seid ihr TOP!

Was soll ich sagen, es war alles einfach perfekt! Im Besonderen, wenn man mit Hund unterwegs ist ! Danke für den tollen Aufenthalt, wenn auch spontan und leider nur 1Tag….ich komme auf jeden Fall sehr gerne wieder und das sicherlich länger!!!

Essen sagenhaft. 5 Sterne Qualität und ich weiß von was ich spreche. Einfach nur top weil mit viel Liebe und Leidenschaft zubereitet.

Hier ist man sehr bestrebt, den Wünschen der Gäste gerecht zu werden. Das Essen ist hervorragend.

Familienbetrieb in einem schönen und natürlichen Rückzugsort nahe am Wald. Sehr ruhig, Idyllisch. Die Leute unwahrscheinlich herzlich und die Kommunikation tatsächlich auch recht familiär. Man hätte meinen können, wir fahren schon seit Jahren dorthin. Man fühlt sich sehr wohl in den urigen Zimmern. Jedes Zimmer sieht anders aus, ist anders eingerichtet. Trotzdem jedoch alles recht modern und sauber. Verpflegung war der absolute Wahnsinn. Habe noch nie so gut in einem Hotel gegessen ! Siehe Bilder. Abends 3 Gänge genossen. Das Frühstück ließ ebenfalls keine Wünsche offen. Täglich wurden die Zimmer gereinigt, die Betten gemacht und der Müll rausgebracht. Service: Top !!! Küche: Überragendes Essen !

Riesen Portionen als Mahlzeit und zu einem fairen Preis, jederzeit wieder!

Service und Essen sehr gut mit guten Portionen. Sonderwünsche von den stoaderer (Semmelknödel statt Nudeln) wurden zur größten Zufriedenheit erfüllt. Zimmer sind sehr liebevoll gestaltet. Wir kommen wieder, da die Speisekarte mit so vielen leckeren Gerichten bestückt ist, die unbedingt entdeckt werden müssen.

Wir hatten sehr schöne Tage hier. Es passt einfach. Das Zimmer war groß und immer sauber. Das Essen super lecker und mit Liebe zubereitet. Der Service war top, die Mitarbeiter immer freundlich und es herrschte eine familiäre Atmosphäre. Unsere kleine Tochter fand es auch sehr schön und liebte den Spielplatz. Zum wandern direkt ab der Pension ideal, trotzdem ist man auch schnell in der kleinen Stadt. Wir kommen sehr gern wieder.

Es ist eine sehr schöne und saubere Pension. Zimmer und Service super. Küche hervorragend. Dies ist eine Pension die ich ohne schlechtes Gewissen weiter empfehlen kann. Werde auf jeden fall wieder kommen. Macht weiter so. Gruß Uwe Wiechert
