This is a nice tanning salon. My wife and I come here now because it's so simple to use and affordable to get a nice tan and there're 3 very nice tanning machines available. (This location was on Google map as a restaurant. I submitted an edit to Google maps to have this location changed as a tanning salon. I did not know this tanning salon was available in Bad Griesbach, otherwise the closest location was Passau.)

Authentic Bavarian traditional inn There is a very stylish, typically Bavarian inn in the historic brewery building in the old town of Bad Griesbach. In addition to a cozy beer garden, there is a guest room in the old brewhouse and an authentically furnished vaulted cellar. The Bavarian classics on the menu are excellent. My highlight was the Rottaler roast pork with old Bavarian braised vegetables in dark beer sauce: wonderfully tender pork and an aromatic sauce to die for. The two fluffy homemade bread and potato dumplings, which were topped with buttered crumbs, tasted excellent. This was impressively authentic, traditional Bavarian cuisine, which unfortunately is very rarely found in tourist resorts. It's great that this classic is offered in 2 portion sizes. My wife chose homemade dumplings with mushrooms and was also impressed by the taste and quality. Conclusion: Traditional Bavarian inn in brewery style with the best traditional cuisine - and at very reasonable prices. We would come back there at any time. When it rains, the vaulted cellar or the brewhouse guest room is a very good alternative to the chestnut beer garden.

Ich habe gegrillte Kalamari bestellt, die absolut ungenießbar waren - zäh, gummiartig und ohne Geschmack. Ich habe die Speise sofort reklamiert und ein Ersatzgericht bekommen. Trotzdem wurde mir das ursprünglich reklamierte Essen berechnet. Als ich das nach dem Bezahlen ansprach, reagierte der Chef unfreundlich und uneinsichtig. Sehr enttäuschend - sowohl in der Qualität als auch im Umgang mit Gästen. Ich kann dieses Restaurant leider nicht empfehlen.

The food is incredibly tasty and also inexpensive. The service is very friendly and makes everything possible. The ambience fits the region. I can only recommend it to anyone who likes good cuisine.

Were there at the beginning of May. A nice, hidden restaurant with very nice service, very good food at a moderate price. Luckily, the misinformation that the restaurant is closed has been put to rest, as a visit is worth it.

As a mourning community, we (approx. 25 people) met here after a funeral. Almost everyone ordered a meal. Food and service were good. What wasn't good was: No condolences were expressed to us, the immediate family of the deceased. Even though we had registered. The total bill debit did not match the receipt. Since it was a small amount, we refrained from complaining and just informed the managing director. Sorry: none! So the polite thing can still be improved!

The restaurant is very cozy, the food was excellent. Very nice and helpful service. The crowning finale was great desserts from the buffet. Prices were reasonable. We'd love to come back.

I've been going to this hotel with my wife for 20 years now, and this time in the 20th year on March 25th. until March 29th In 2025 it was not just a star hotel for us again, but simply like family. As always, our wishes were read from our eyes. We once again enjoyed our culinary experiences in the Wastl restaurant to no end. Kudos to the star-rated cuisine, but a highlight is always seeing the best of the best Sepp Steinbeißer in the service (perfectionist and great instructor). Even the manager of the hotel always recognized us and always had nice welcoming words on his lips. Thank you very much for always lovely stays in this wellness hotel!!!

Completely overpriced, the menu in the display case was moldy, half of the menu was no longer available on Sunday evenings. Not even the simplest snack available.
