Wir waren zu Besuch in Bad Griesbach und wollten kurz noch was zu Mittag essen. Nach mehreren Regentagen wurde uns am ersten Schönen Tag sehr freundlich ein Tisch im Freien hergerichtet. Das Essen war geschmacklich sehr gut und die Portionen reichlich. Personal und Service echt gut und sehr freundlich. Sehr empfehlenswert.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 5 von 5 Sternen Wir waren rundum begeistert. Das Restaurant bietet eine authentische griechische Küche in einer angenehmen, ruhigen und sehr gemütlichen Atmosphäre. Das Lokal ist eher klein bis mittelgroß und typisch griechisch eingerichtet – man fühlt sich sofort willkommen. Der Service war ausgesprochen freundlich, aufmerksam und sehr zuvorkommend. Man merkt, dass hier Gastfreundschaft noch gelebt wird. Kulinarisch hat uns besonders das Tzatziki überzeugt: wunderbar fein abgestimmt, angenehm mild und gleichzeitig aromatisch würzig. Das Moussaka war hervorragend geschmacklich ausgewogen, frisch und mit viel Liebe zubereitet. Auch die Vorspeisenplatte war sehr lecker und bot eine schöne Auswahl griechischer Spezialitäten. Besonders hervorzuheben ist zudem das sehr gute Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis. Hier bekommt man hochwertige Speisen, freundlichen Service und ein authentisches griechisches Erlebnis zu fairen Preisen. Wer in Bad Griesbach unterwegs ist und griechische Küche auf hohem Niveau genießen möchte, ist hier genau richtig. Die Außenplätze direkt am Marktplatz im Thermenbereich machen den Besuch zusätzlich besonders angenehm. Eine klare Empfehlung – wir kommen gerne wieder! 🇬🇷😊

Wir hatten ein super Abendessen. Jeder von uns bekam ohne wenn und aber einen Schnaps vor dem Essen. Trotz rappelvollem Restaurant kam das Essen innerhalb 10 Minuten, zuvor kam schon der Beilagensalat. Nachdem wir mit dem Essen fertig waren wurde sofort abgeräumt, 1 Minute später bekam jeder von uns eine Nachspeise, auch aufs Haus. Die Räumlichkeit ist recht klein, gefüllt mit vielen Tischen. Trotzdem kann man sich problemlos unterhalten, es war verhältnismäßig ruhig. Super Restaurant, nur zu empfehlen!

Gutes Essen zum vernünftigen Preis, äußerst freundlicher Service - der Chef hat uns extra einen Tisch auf der Terrasse gedeckt, obwohl das Wetter durchwachsen war -, Ouzo und Nachspeise aufs Haus und überall satte, zufriedene Gäste. So soll es sein!

Ein schönes kulinarisches Erlebnis. Gutes Essen und großzügige Portionen. Freundliches Personal, große Auswahl. Etwas unterbesetzt, wodurch die Wartezeiten länger als üblich sind.

Wir hatten für ein langes Wellness-Wochenende ein Apartment gebucht und entdeckten dieses griechische Restaurant ganz bequem fußläufig in der Nähe. Obwohl wir vorab reserviert hatten, wäre das an diesem Tag nicht unbedingt nötig gewesen. Unsere beiden Getränke wurden schnell serviert, und freundlicherweise wurden uns sogar zwei Schnäpse aufs Haus angeboten, die wir jedoch ablehnten. Als Vorspeise wählten wir Scampi Saganaki sowie Pita-Brot mit Knoblauch und Zaziki. Fotos haben wir leider keine gemacht – der Hunger war einfach zu groß, dass fast alles schnell verputzt war. Zum Hauptgang teilten wir uns einen gemischten Teller mit Gyros, Souvlaki und Calamari, dazu Reis, Pita-Brot und einen gemischten Salat. Die Portion war sehr großzügig – eigentlich für eine Person gedacht, aber für uns zwei absolut ausreichend, sodass sogar noch etwas übrig blieb. Geschmacklich war das Essen insgesamt gut, auch wenn bei einzelnen Komponenten noch etwas Luft nach oben ist: Der Salat hätte bereits angemacht sein können, das Fleisch hätte etwas mehr Würze vertragen, das Gyros war leicht trocken und der Reis eher mild im Geschmack. Besonders positiv hervorzuheben ist der Service: freundlich, aufmerksam, angenehm zurückhaltend und dabei zügig. Auch die große Auswahl auf der Speisekarte überzeugt – hier findet wirklich jeder etwas Passendes. Zum Abschluss gab es noch ein kleines Dessert aufs Haus sowie einen weiteren angebotenen Schnaps, den wir ebenfalls ablehnten. Insgesamt zahlten wir 53 € plus 5 € Trinkgeld.

Essen wirklich unfassbar gut! Selten bei so einen guten Griechen gegessen👌🏻 Service auch hervorragend! Hier bekommt man noch einen Ouzo und sogar ein kleines Dessert gratis dazu 🤩 Großer Parkplatz ist ca. 100 Meter entfernt. Wir werden wiederkommen!

Wir haben hier zu Mittag gegessen und waren sehr angetan. Der Gastraum hat uns sehr gut gefallen und die Bedienung(en) waren sehr freundlich und aufmerksam. Zu den Getränken bekamen wir aufs Haus schon einen Ouzo. Die Vorspeise ( gefüllte Weinblätter) waren schon sehr lecker, aber die Hauptspeisen haben das noch getoppt. Wir hatten Gyros mit Metaxasoße, überbacken mit Käse und Gyros und Rinderleber. Angeblich waren es kleinere Portionen, so stand es auf der Mittagskarte, aber wir hatten echt Probleme, es zu schaffen. Zu unserer Überraschung gab es auch noch eine kleine, kostenlose Nachspeise. Wir würden auf jeden Fall wieder kommen. Ist ein netter Familienbetrieb.

Wir sind gerade im Urlaub hier und wollten nicht selber kochen… Gut das wir reserviert haben, das Lokal ist sehr klein, der Service ist herzlich und unaufdringlich. Es gab einen Ouzo vorab vom Wirt und einen kleinen Nachtisch zum Schluss…da waren wir sehr überrascht. Uns hat es sehr gut geschmeckt und wir werden auf jeden Fall wieder kommen… Wir hatten Moussaka und Rodosteller…. 😋

Alles, was wir dazu sagen, ist eine Untertreibung. Ein wahrhaft authentisches griechisches Restaurant mit einer herzlichen, familiären Atmosphäre, in der man sich sofort wie zu Hause fühlt. Das Essen ist hervorragend, jedes Gericht voller Geschmack und besticht durch seine hohe Qualität. Der Service ist tadellos, höflich und aufmerksam, und zum Abschluss wurden wir mit einem fantastischen, hausgemachten Dessert verwöhnt, das der Küchenchef am selben Tag zubereitet hatte. Ich habe dieses griechische Lokal in Bad Griesbach besucht, da es online überwiegend ordentliche Rezensionen hatte. Umso größer war leider die Enttäuschung. Der Gastraum als solches wirkt eher wie ein liebloser Frühstücksraum in einem 2 Sterne Hotel. Bei jedem Mal wo eine Person durch die Eingangstür kam zog es extrem kalt durch den Raum. Als warme Vorspeise bestellte ich Zucchini überbacken mit Tzatziki. Der Preis von 10,50 € ist für das, was serviert wurde, aus meiner Sicht schlichtweg skandalös: Auf dem Teller lagen gerade einmal sieben kleine Zucchinischeiben. Das steht in keinerlei Verhältnis zum Preis. Als Hauptgericht folgte ein gemischter Teller mit Tzatziki, Gyros, Souvlaki und Kalamari. Geschmacklich war das leider absolut nichts. Besonders enttäuschend: Es befanden sich lediglich zwei Kalamari-Ringe auf dem Teller. Auch das übrige Fleisch war geschmacklich sehr schwach und lieblos zubereitet. Dazwischen ein Salat, der ebenso lieblos angerichtet war und optisch wirkte, als hätte er bereits ein oder zwei Tage irgendwo gestanden. Generell machte das gesamte Essen den Eindruck von fehlender Sorgfalt und Leidenschaft. Preis-Leistung ist maximal mäßig, eher mangelhaft. Zu den Kellnern: Es gibt sicher Gäste, die diese Art von Bedienung als lustig empfinden – ich gehöre definitiv nicht dazu. Auch hier fehlte mir Professionalität. Alles in allem war dies leider das enttäuschendste griechische Lokal, das ich in den letzten 15 bis 20 Jahren besucht habe – und ich gehe sehr oft griechisch essen. Positiv hervorzuheben ist lediglich das Tzatziki, das wirklich sehr gut war. Das allein reicht jedoch leider nicht aus, um den Gesamteindruck zu retten.

Highly recommended! The food is really delicious, and the complimentary dessert is a nice touch, which isn't always a given these days. We've been here several times now and will definitely be back.

The tour guide pointed me to this Greek restaurant, and my first impression was that the uncles here were very young and very cheerful. Our group of about eight people came and we all had eight glasses of Ouzo as an appetizer. In my opinion, this wine is very strong, spicy and has an anise-like flavor. Here, our group ordered a few dishes, of which my favorite was the grilled seafood dish with an extremely wonderful flavor. Next to it was a very large plate of meat, the meat tasted extremely delicious. One interesting thing was that on the plates there was a handwritten name of the restaurant, showing the thoughtfulness of the owners, our group really liked this. In our group, many people were extremely excited about the grilled shrimp dish, this was probably the dish that the group considered the most unique and interesting. After finishing the meal, the restaurant offered ice cream for dessert. I don't know how to describe this dish, but the sweet and cool feeling created an unforgettable taste experience. In total, the restaurant offered our group three glasses of wine during this meal. After paying the bill, the owner added another glass, but I honestly thought that if I had another glass, I would have gotten really drunk. Thank you so much to the enthusiastic owners. I found this wine very special, so I looked it up: “Griechischer Aperitif” wine usually refers to Ouzo wine – a famous Greek aperitif, with a distinctive flavor from anise (anis). Ouzo is the national wine of Greece, often used as an aperitif (appetizer) before meals.

The dining room was very spartan and, due to its relatively small size, rather noisy. The service was excellent; the waiters were friendly and attentive. The dishes we ordered (taramas, mixed hot appetizer platter, Santorini platter with gyros, souvlaki, minced steak, and lamb chop) were all very good, not over-seasoned as is often the case at Greek restaurants. It's a bit difficult to find as it's located right in the spa area. Overall, definitely recommended.

We arrived without a reservation because we were coming from out of town. The restaurant was full. The owner set a table for us outside. It was nice and warm. The service was excellent. I had souvlaki, which was still slightly undercooked. That might have been due to the restaurant being so full. Prices were a bit high.

Disaster – not recommended Inattentive service, lukewarm and tasteless food, far too expensive. The atmosphere was dingy and chaotic. Absolutely disappointing – stay away! The old owner acts like he's important and is incredibly unfriendly. Never again a Greek restaurant…

This restaurant is a bench! This is how excellent dining works, so nothing happens without a reservation. We went there twice in a row because we were simply thrilled. If you, like me, don't like meat and overfilled plates, you'll also find delicious fish on the "seniors' menu." Ouzo as a starter and dessert to finish off the experience makes you feel like you're in Greece! The staff are incredibly funny and attentive. Thank you!

At lunchtime, the menu is reasonably priced with a very good selection and excellent food. A free welcome ouzo and usually a small, delicious dessert are included as a farewell treat. We've enjoyed coming here on vacation for several years. A very good Greek restaurant, highly recommended.

Despite the place being packed, we were seated within minutes (we didn't have a reservation). The service was extremely attentive and prompt. The food arrived in no time, and it was amazing! We haven't had such Greek food in a long time. Thank you!

We were really looking forward to the restaurant but were disappointed. We had a seat right by the entrance. The door had to be left open. It was freezing cold. We felt like we were at a train station. The food came very quickly, one after the other, only to quickly clear the table for more guests. It was a shame. We didn't go back the next day out of disappointment.

Very good food, generous portions. Despite the busy schedule, the waiters are always in a good mood, very friendly, and attentive. A complimentary ouzo to start and a small dessert to finish. A very nice gesture and certainly not something you'd take for granted anymore. Highly recommended.

I went there for the first time today with a friend! We had called half an hour before and asked if we could make a reservation. The waiter asked when and said in about 30 minutes. The waiter said, "A moment later, we had a table, less than a minute later." The food was so incredibly delicious. I would recommend it again. Top-notch service, even in a rush. I only have one complaint, sorry. When it came to paying, someone else came and took our money! We thought that was a shame 😔 But we still managed to slip them some money.

I can't judge. The owner is on a well-deserved vacation. I'll try it another time. By the way, the same applies to many other restaurants when they're on vacation. So it's best to call ahead. What you find on Google isn't always accurate.

Cheap, very tasty and top staff

We had a company party with 18 people and received quick and friendly service. The food was very good. The portions were generous. We also included a small dessert on the house. 😋♥

We had gyros with rice and a small salad. The gyros was okay. The rice had no flavor, and the salad had no dressing, just oil. It was more like cafeteria food. Not worth the €15 price tag.

Update from July 10, 2025 Luckily, we had a reservation again! It was busy again. But the guys are sooooo fast and friendly. The kitchen was also fast again. 5 out of 5 ⭐️ October 19, 2023 Well attended despite it being a weekday (I therefore recommend making a reservation). We had grilled pepperoni with tzatziki and baked eggplant with tzatziki for starters, and a gyro plate and a senior portion of Yra for main courses. Both were delicious, although we're used to the gyro being a bit crispier. But the taste was still good. We're used to a welcoming ouzo and a farewell ouzo at Greek restaurants, but here, as a welcome from the kitchen, they even serve a small piece of cake 🍰 for dessert. Great surprise! The two servers were friendly and attentive. We highly recommend this restaurant.

I went there twice last weekend because I loved the food. I wasn't disappointed the second time either. The staff was very attentive and extremely friendly. Since I was there early, I managed to get a seat. Without a reservation, it gets tricky around 6:30. I was also delighted when I received a small, delicious dessert on the house. All in all, I highly recommend it.

Einer der besten Griechen weit und breit. Man bekam auch ohne Reservierung einen Platz. Alle Kellner waren sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Am besten war jedoch, dass uns der Chef höchstpersönlich zu unserem Hotel zurück fuhr, da wir leider kein Taxi ordern konnten. Wir kommen definitiv wieder :-)

Ich habe gegrillte Kalamari bestellt, die absolut ungenießbar waren - zäh, gummiartig und ohne Geschmack. Ich habe die Speise sofort reklamiert und ein Ersatzgericht bekommen. Trotzdem wurde mir das ursprünglich reklamierte Essen berechnet. Als ich das nach dem Bezahlen ansprach, reagierte der Chef unfreundlich und uneinsichtig. Sehr enttäuschend - sowohl in der Qualität als auch im Umgang mit Gästen. Ich kann dieses Restaurant leider nicht empfehlen.

Seit vielen Jahren gehen wir bei einem Aufenthalt in Bad Griesbach in dieses Restaurant, diese Woche sogar dreimal. Chef und Personal sind sehr freundlich, auch wenn im Restaurant Hochbetrieb ist. Alle Gerichte sind sehr gut und absolut empfehlenswert. Natürlich kommen wir wieder.

The best Greek restaurant in the area! For us a must for every stay in Bad Griesbach. This year we ate here three times in one week and every dish was really excellent. The boss and the staff are very friendly, even when all the tables are occupied. Of course we'll be back!

Very friendly staff and very good service! The place was completely full, but with reservations everything worked out great! Starter was very good (grilled pepperoni) and large! Food came quickly and was hot too! Can only recommend it!

An excellent Greek restaurant in the middle of the thermal area. I have rarely eaten such good lamb. Super nice and accommodating staff, even when “the hut is on fire”. In addition, there are totally moderate prices. That's why you should always make a reservation

I can warmly recommend it - very friendly and helpful - apparently all Greeks 😁 the food is excellent and also reasonably priced
