Badhaus in Bad Griesbach i.Rottal

We visited there once on vacation. What a stroke of luck! We got a table right away without a reservation and were served friendly throughout the evening. I was personally impressed by the vegetarian selection. The "Gartenfee" burger is a dream. The only downside is that we live so far away, otherwise we'd definitely be going there regularly.

Highly recommended! We spontaneously went for something to eat that evening and were surprised at how good the food can be in a bar. The waiters were all super attentive and friendly. The food left nothing to be desired. It's a shame we live so far away.

Delicious grilled meat and fish dishes. Fries with Parmesan and truffle mayo are a dream.

Visited for the second time today... unfortunately, the first meal was no longer on the menu, but the friendly waitress checked with the kitchen, and the meal was prepared according to customer request anyway. When I mentioned that they were giving me this as a birthday present, they smiled kindly... Then, when I paid, the surprise came... a small cake, sparklers, a handful of treats, and a gingerbread heart with "Ois guade vom Badhaus" written on it suddenly appeared on the table... it's the little things that make you happy and encourage you to come back. Unfortunately disappointing - once great, now a flop We ordered three pizzas to go, and they were a complete disappointment in terms of taste and quality. The bases were dry and hard, the edges barely edible. Everything seemed as if it had been reheated. Preparation took about 15 minutes, which could explain the poor quality of the food. We used to love the "Gigant Burger" – large, juicy, and simply delicious. It's now become a regular burger, significantly smaller and less flavorful. So we switched to the pizza, which had always been good. This time, everything was different. No freshness, no flavor, and a price that was completely out of proportion to the quality offered. If the weather hadn't been so bad, we would have returned the pizzas and demanded our money back. For us, one thing is clear: This was the last time. THAT'S HOW YOU LOSE REGULAR CUSTOMERS!!!!!

Each one is well-trained, competent, and has a subtle sense of humor – which always makes the visit incredibly pleasant. The chef also deserves special praise, as he personally oversees everything and shows genuine interest in the well-being of his guests – that is hospitality in action! The food – simply exquisite. The taste is of the highest quality, lovingly presented, and always freshly prepared. You can feel the dedication and love that goes into the work. A visit to the Badhaus in Bad Griesbach is highly recommended - but a reservation is a must as it is very popular. As soon as you have a seat, a changing daily menu awaits you with a great selection of dishes. The burgers and pizzas we tried were simply fantastic: super tasty, fresh and creatively prepared. The other items on the menu also looked great and the value for money really can't be beat! The only small point of criticism is the somewhat interesting parking situation - it could be better organized here. But that doesn't detract from the overall experience. We will definitely be back and recommend the Badhaus to anyone who is in the area!

We had dinner here yesterday afternoon. The food (grill plate + hip steak with shrimp) was super tasty. The restaurant is very nice and the waitresses are super friendly and attentive. Maybe we'll eat there again this week.

I was thrilled the first time I ate there. I was on vacation in St. Salvator at the end of October and ate there every evening except on the rest day 😉. I've never eaten as good as I've had here. The cocktails are super tasty and everything was very, very nice.

A cozy little restaurant with excellent food and friendly staff. The pizza is fantastic and is well made. The crust is crisp and holds up with and the pizza has a generous amount of toppings. Pizzas were around 10-14 € and burgers were between 10-18 €. We ordered 2 pizzas with 3 beers and our total came to around 40 € not bad for a nice night out with good company and food.

The beef here is perhaps the best I have eaten.

We were here spontaneously for dinner during the week and ordered a burger with fries and calamari/octopus with salad, along with drinks. The service was friendly and quick and the drinks and food were at the table quickly. Unfortunately the burger was quite dry, so a little more sauce wouldn't have hurt, but overall it was okay. The calamari was good, but very simple with 1 calamari tube and 2 octopus tentacles. Without the relatively large side salad it would have been a stomach ache, as they say in Bavaria. For dessert there was plucking hoods, a regional specialty that is also served at home from time to time. It was interesting because it tasted completely different than if I made it myself, but every village probably has its own recipe. Despite the huge construction site in front of the front door, the terrace was well attended, which is always a good sign. By the way, the cocktails here are also very tasty. You can absolutely do it!

Had dinner there with colleagues on Friday. Despite our short-term request and actually being fully booked, we still managed to get space. The staff and also the boss are super nice, friendly and competent people. The restaurant itself is very pretty, rustic, simple and yet elegantly furnished. The small beer garden is very cozy and the panoramic view of the Alps is phenomenal! The food was amazing and for me was star level (we had steaks, grilled plates, burgers and various starters). Everything was fresh and local! Anyone who is ever in the area should definitely visit it!!! We will definitely come back!

The restaurant is modernly decorated and has a very nice view. The food is very good, interpreted in a rather modern way. Compared to the rest of the dishes, the pizzas tend to fall apart. The cocktails are good, but a bit more expensive. The service is nice, but rather poorly organized. My conclusion: I will come back

Die Karte hat eine große Spannbreite von preiswerten Burgern und Pizzen über exzellente Dry Aged Steaks, köstlichen Fisch und saisonabhängige Spezialitäten wie Steinpilze oder frischen Spargel. Dadurch ist das Publikum sehr ungewöhnlich aus allen Altersklassen und die Stimmung im Lokal entsprechend locker. Bunte Cocktails und ausgesuchte Weine befriedigen alle Wünsche. Super nice restaurant, very nice ambience and the service was great. The Caesar salad was great, the sweet potato fries were nice and crispy, the breadless burger was too crispy and too thin for me and wasn't juicy either. Next time I visit I'll try something different.

I had a wonderful time at the Badhaus Bad Griesbach! The steaks were incredibly tasty, but I was also pleasantly surprised by the burgers and pizza. However, what really made the experience special were the incredibly friendly staff. Your warm welcome and attentive care made my visit special. We (6 people) ate the best steaks here in a long time. We spontaneously announced a seventh person and, despite the restaurant being full, a suitable place was organized for us. Both the service and the food were excellent! Not even in Munich can you find such excellent cuisine for this price-performance ratio! We were all thrilled and can only recommend the place!

"leider" sind wir nicht so oft in der Nähe...wenn immer möglich ist ein Besuch im Badhaus Pflicht.... Freundliche Gastgeber "Gast was willst du mehr".

Das perfekte Restaurant für Fleischliebhaber. Preis/Leistung stimmt hier absolut. Es gibt verschiedene leckere Burger & Steaks und auf den Wochenkarten gibt es wechselnde Gerichte die zur Saison passen. Die Dry Aged Burger und Steaks sind sehr zu empfehlen. Zum Abschluss gibt es auch eine große Auswahl an alkoholischen und alkoholfreien Getränken beziehungsweise Cocktails.

Absolute Top-Adresse! Ich hatte zu meinem 50ten einen Tisch für meine Familie reserviert. Alle waren durch die Bank vom Ambiente, dem tollen Service und der hohen Qualität der Speisen begeistert. Die Preise sind fair und angemessen, insbesondere im Verhältnis zur hohen Qualität und Größe der Portionen. Da können sich so gut wie alle anderen Lokalitäten weit und breit eine gehörige Scheibe abschneiden!

Decent food w/ okay prices. Nice management behind bar and decent staff…. I had wanted to come here for 5 years and finally had the chance for a friend’s birthday. Spent €70 + tip on a double burger, fries, 6 wine Schorle, 3 weiß beer. Really decent prices considering. My grief is when I asked for Leitungswasser (tap water) they said no problem and then half hour later proceeded to try and charge me 3.80€ extra for water, at which point they said they don’t do that(in reference to tap water). Any Restraunt that continues to try and pull this past its patrons should be called out for attempted thievery. Most Germans are too polite to say anything as confrontation is against their manors at restaurants. So this behavior continues to be rampant. I cannot abide by this as it is completely ridiculous. After asking the management (politely) why this happened, they said it shouldn’t. *After I left, the management instructed the waitress to return the money to my wife. ( I was already outside as I get frustrated by this continued behavior in Germany and need to leave to not make a scene) I still recommend this place for a meal or party. It’s a nice place. But definitely be aware if you ask for tap water (Leitungswasser) they may charge you €3.80 without saying anything. Do not stand for it.

Wir waren zu zweit abends und hatten reserviert, für einmer Donnerstag war auch sehr viel los. Also eine Reservierung wäre schon empfehlenswert. Essen war sehr gut und auch im Verhältnis eher günstig. Kann man nur weiterempfehlen.
