La Pfeffermühle is a very cozy restaurant with a particularly lovely atmosphere, especially during the Christmas season. The staff is very attentive, polite, and friendly. The menu is extensive – there's something for everyone. I had a pizza with ham, artichokes, and mushrooms, and I thoroughly enjoyed it. I'll definitely be back! The indoor tennis court is also a highlight :)

Wir wohnen in Mettlach und waren in diesem Jahr dreimal hier. Empfang, Service, Essen - immer perfekt. Wir haben bewusst jedes Mal etwas anderes von der Karte bestellt und waren nie enttäuscht. Sehr empfehlenswert: Das Steak und die Scampis. Aber auch die Quiche Lorraine und die diversen Currygerichte brauchen keinen Vergleich zu scheuen. Wir sind uns einig: Das beste Restaurant im Umkreis - und da gibt es noch einige andere sehr gute.

We spent our vacation in Thaldorf and were able to sample the excellent cuisine twice. From Bavarian specialties to salad and beer, everything was perfect. The service was very friendly, and despite a large celebration on Saturday, we were served attentively and quickly. The value for money is still good here. Thank you for the good food and friendly service.

Very friendly. Excellent food! Of course, they speak German, but English is also perfectly acceptable. Spanish and Portuguese are also available. We ordered the paella. It was generously filled and tasted excellent.

The food at this restaurant was very, very good. The only downside was the size of the place and the fact that it only accepts cash, but hey, cash is normal here in Germany.

Our cheerful group of six of us were in Bautzen for the Christmas market, and on our way back to the hotel (after being turned away at two other restaurants), we happened upon Da Gelo. To our surprise, we were immediately given a table in the upstairs dining room, which wasn't even open. All six of us were absolutely delighted with the incredibly friendly service and the fantastic food. A little chat with the owner rounded off the exceptional hospitality. Many thanks again for the lovely evening, and we wholeheartedly recommend it. Best regards from all six of us! P.S.: The best carpaccio I've ever eaten!
