We had a wonderful evening at restaurant. Food is delicious and the wine is also excellent. What’s more important is the service:professional, friendly and really comfortable! Better than any star restaurant I visited in the region. I will highly recommend and will come back again.

More than you'd expect! From the outside, the bistro appears rather plain, but as soon as you step inside, you'll be pleasantly surprised. The atmosphere is inviting, the service fast and very attentive. The dishes are creative, flavorful, and obviously prepared with great care. Particularly exciting is the central, open kitchen, which gives the whole place a modern and lively feel.

Homemade, delicious pizzas and omelets with exceptional toppings, spaghetti... We loaded up at the rest stop and ended up here thanks to the good reviews. We were sitting a bit dangerously. 😉

My recent dining experience at Vinoteca Piccola Cucina was nothing short of exceptional, leaving a lasting impression with its commitment to fresh ingredients, masterful preparation, and attentive service. From the first bite to the last, it was a delightful journey for the palate, made all the more enjoyable by the professional and welcoming staff. The evening began with an Octopus Salad, a testament to the restaurant's dedication to freshness. The octopus was perfectly tender, showcasing its natural, clean flavors. What truly elevated this appetizer was the olive oil – it was extraordinarily tasty, with a robust and fruity character that complemented the seafood beautifully. It was a simple dish, yet executed with a finesse that spoke volumes. For the main course, I indulged in the Tagliatelle with Truffle, and it is no exaggeration to say it was one of the best I have ever eaten. The pasta itself was clearly fresh, with that perfect al dente bite. The truffle aroma was intoxicating, and its flavor was generously infused throughout the dish, creating a rich, earthy, and utterly decadent experience. Each forkful was a moment of pure culinary bliss. Throughout the meal, the service was notably attentive and professional. The staff were present without being intrusive, ensuring our needs were met promptly and with a genuine sense of hospitality. This level of care significantly enhanced the overall dining experience. Vinoteca Piccola Cucina appears to be a place where passion for authentic Italian cuisine shines through. The quality of the ingredients and the skill in the kitchen are evident, perfectly complemented by a service team that clearly values their guests. I wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone seeking an authentic and high-quality Italian dining experience.

Great - we'll be happy to come back. Yesterday we were at "La Cave" for the first time. Due to its proximity to our favorite cinema, we'd often been drawn to this small, French "cellar restaurant" and finally made it there. To be clear: It won't be the last time - and yes: The long journey from Hamburg is definitely worth it! Hidden beneath the stairs of the main entrance is the entrance to the stylish, historic vaulted cellar, which gives the restaurant a wonderful ambiance that invites you to linger. Why only four stars? Well - the ambiance is "really cozy" - but the quality of the food and service clearly surpasses the ambiance and deserves a certain distance. The menu with Mediterranean/French dishes is short, especially for the main courses - supplemented by a seasonal menu (currently asparagus dishes). Connoisseurs rejoice and recognize the brevity of the menu not as a weakness, but rather as the hope of getting something truly exceptional here. Our expectations, thus heightened, were in no way disappointed: The food was superb! We opted for the rump steak in two completely different variations. The love in the selection of his meat was already evident when the chef praised his meat. And no: A "steak" is not simply a piece of meat that you throw on the grill or fry to death in a pan (those who like their steak "well done" will never know the difference and can certainly enjoy a mass-produced meat at Block House. It also tastes "somehow" - it won't satisfy the steak connoisseur). A perfect crust, the entire meat tender as butter, in full juices - magnificent. The side dishes complemented the dish perfectly and were also spot on (tip for anyone who wants to eat really GOOD asparagus!). When you listen to the very cultured and well-groomed chef talk about his food, you know why you'll find something truly fine and exquisite here: He loves what he does - and he enjoys it himself. And no: With a menu featuring 30 main courses to choose from, this will never be possible; in this league of quality, all ingredients must be carefully selected and fresh. We've all become somewhat accustomed to being able to have "everything, anywhere, anytime." Let us encourage you to let go of this notion and limit yourself to "select" indulgences for very special evenings. It's worth it! And: If you're looking for a change from Greek and pizzerias for the first time, you'll still feel very comfortable here: The ambiance and service aren't "pretentious"—but warm, down-to-earth, and inviting. We found the food quality to be on par with Jacobs in Nienstedten, Hamburg—in a relaxed and cozy atmosphere. The prices are more than fair, considering that you can easily pay double for such good dishes in comparably good restaurants in Hamburg. And if it's any consolation: The truly well-chosen, delicious wines are downright inexpensive for a restaurant of this caliber, as is a truly delightful mixed salad for under €5 (where else can you find something like that? And even a fairly large portion for a side dish/starter!). This makes for a romantic and culinary special evening for two, including starters and dessert, for under €100. We look forward to our next visit!

Always happy to come back! A village pub and restaurant in one. The value for money is hard to beat, and the owner and staff are always friendly and accommodating. They also offer special events, such as a wine tasting with accompanying courses. This is also highly recommended and relatively inexpensive. Calling in advance to make a reservation is recommended.

It's okay, you can try it, but the prices are very high for what's on offer. Some dishes took some getting used to.
