The restaurant is accepting reservations even though it's closed. The website only has a small, outdated, hidden notice from May 2022. This notice isn't visible when you open the homepage, where the reservation button is immediately prominent. Why should I bother searching through the hidden parts of the site when I can reserve a table instantly and seemingly easily? One would expect the reservation function to be deactivated if the restaurant isn't actually accepting reservations.
Furthermore, the reservation has been in place for several weeks; they could have easily found the time to inform us. If a customer feels this disregarded from the outset, they certainly won't be interested in visiting the restaurant again.
If you enjoy fine dining and paying a premium, this is the place for you.
We were treated to a delicious multi-course meal. Unfortunately, I can only share beautiful photos of the beautifully presented dishes here. To truly experience the flavors, you have to visit Laudensacks in person.
I will certainly return and enjoy it again.
The reason I haven't explicitly mentioned the drinks and service is that they were also absolutely perfect.
We reserved the restaurant on Rathausplatz today for our daughter's communion celebration. We had a fantastic buffet, which was praised by all the guests. The service was personal, yet unobtrusive—everything was spot on! The family- and child-friendly environment is particularly noteworthy. Excellent value for money—100% recommendation.
I am a frequent and satisfied customer of your establishment and order regularly, including your prawn cocktail, as I did yesterday. Initially, I didn't pay much attention to the slightly alcoholic taste, assuming it was due to a cold affecting my sense of taste.
After eating the salad, I briefly spoke to my father on the phone and described the incident. He reacted with horror and asked if I had actually eaten the dish. He then explained that the cocktail was probably no longer edible and expressed his hope that I wouldn't suffer any serious consequences.
I felt fine at first and went to sleep. However, around 2:00 a.m. this morning, the seriousness of my mistake dawned on me. Fortunately, I managed to get to the bathroom before the symptoms hit me with a vengeance. After an agonizing 15 minutes, I wished it were all over. Now, twelve hours later and after my ninth trip to the bathroom today, I know that was just wishful thinking.
I felt fine at first and went to sleep. I won't be placing any further orders for the time being. However, I can generally recommend your pizza, as long as seafood is omitted.
We were here on a Friday after playing an escape room. They served German cuisine. From our niche, we had a fantastic view, just like the pictures show. It's worth mentioning that after the meal, you could take a lovely stroll along the Rhine, and if you have children, there's a playground right next to the restaurant, which you can also see from the restaurant.
The only downside: cash payments are not accepted, but card payments are not accepted. Dogs are allowed after prior arrangement by phone.
Was the schnitzel/cordon bleu good enough? Yup, I'm happy when you hear the hammering in the kitchen. That said, the location is great, home-style cooking, and the service staff is good. We'll keep an eye on the restaurant and it won't be the last time we visit!
We got a table, but we didn't feel welcome as a guest, as the server was very bad-tempered, which had a negative impact on the atmosphere.
The chef, however, was friendly.
The quality of the food was good, although the soup was a bit salty (it can happen sometimes). The food was served lukewarm. The value for money is upscale,
but it's fine for a one-time visit to the restaurant.
One of the best shops in Pivitsheide
Everyone was very nice and, above all, the food was perfect, even when on the go!!
Thank you for bringing Pivitsheide back to life!!
I don't think there's any need to say more!!
