It's closed for vacation, so it's closed. But reservations are confirmed electronically, and there's no indication of this on the website. Very unprofessional.

Yesterday at 6:40 PM I ordered online and received an email stating delivery at 7:40 PM. At 7:20 PM, I received another email with a new delivery time of 8:30 PM. At 8:50 PM, I called because I needed to take the food to work, and the employee told me they were "very busy" and the driver would be there in 10 minutes when I asked why it was taking so long. At 9:05 PM, no one had arrived. I went to work, unfortunately without my food. I wouldn't recommend them based on the service. I can't comment on the food itself, since it never arrived.

We visited Zum Jakob in Ratingen for the first time today and were thrilled! The ambiance is cozy and inviting, making you feel right at home. The service was extremely friendly and attentive, without being intrusive. The food was a real highlight: freshly prepared, lovingly presented, and simply fantastic in taste. An all-around successful evening; we'll definitely be back and can only warmly recommend the restaurant.
